How To Restore A Curly Synthetic Wig| Cutting Tips

You were wise, you listen to me, hey, they say they did it before wayne, not like this. They trying to stop us wayne. They can't do it man, so you guys. This is the wig she's dry and detangled as much as possible. I do have a headband on this wig. Yes, i do she kind of looks like she's in a hostage situation but she's fine. I use this headband to make sure the hair stays in its place while i'm cutting. I do this on all my ways, just to make sure that i'm cutting in the right spot in the same spot every single time, i'm not like moving the hair around when you're constantly moving the wig. Sometimes the hair can get out of place and you want to make sure that the hair is straight down now as far as curly wigs, it's a lot easier to cut. You can hide a few things, but this is a straight wig. It will be a mess if i messed up so just for a little bit more security. I just put the headband on the wig like this and if you're gon na do this with the headband just make sure the hair is brushed the way that you want it to be. So i just want everything to be straight up and down on the wig. I don't want like a part or anything, but if you want a part on your wig or you have a part on your wig, make sure you brush all the hair in the direction you want it before you put the headband on, but let's get to the Cutting so you guys before i start cutting i've sectioned the hair in half and we're just going to start on this section. First then we're going to work over into this section and then we're going to layer the entire wig. I want to get rid of the problem pieces first, so this is no technique at all, just cutting off the problem pieces and then we're going to get into layering. So you guys we're done as you can see. It looks really nice and i might look a little crooked because her face is not centered. It'S like slightly to the will be my left so yeah. If it doesn't look straight here, that's fine. When i put it on me, i'm gon na even it out. If it's not even but from this angle, it looks pretty okay, it does have like a little bit of length on this side, but which is fine um, but so far, so good, so we're gon na start cutting layers um into this wig because, like i said, I kind of want a little bit more of a shape, so what i'm gon na do is i'm going to take these shorter pieces back here? So you see like this right here how it gives like this nice, like rounded shape. I want to put that everywhere. Throughout the wig, so i kind of want to start where this shorter piece is here and kind of mimic that same length all the way around now. My technique with cutting layers is a up and down. Motion and all i do is take little pieces and i make little bitty movements with the scissors and i'm just cutting up and down up and down up and down up and down up and down so like this, and i'm not like running the scissors like this. I'M doing how can i i'm doing this and i'm moving my hand up and down up and down. So that's what we're going to do with this wig and we're doing that all the way around at this one length. So, as you can see short and it's going to be short, all the way around do just little bitty portions as you go down, you don't want to like, if you're doing it chop into the hair, where you're going into your palm, you just want to cut The ends off and just maybe, if you want to describe it dust the hair off. So you want to kind of cut little portions at a time and as you do, that you can kind of see the layers and if you make a mistake at least you're not or you haven't, cut a huge gap in the hair. You can say, oh well, this little piece is a little bit shorter, so i'll be able to cut like you know the top piece a little bit shorter than that, so it can have a nice gradient and, as you can see, let me move the wig back. This first little piece, you see how that layer, there is nice and rounded that's how we want the entire wig to be so we're going to do this all over and then i'm going to try the wig on is so you guys. This is the finished result, and it is so nice, it's so nice, it's detangled, my hands can run through it. It'S beautiful. It has layers like i'm in love. Now, bangs are not my forte they're, not my style. I don't like them um. I look very weird with things i just look very weird. My face looks very like squished and i just don't like it so bangs are not my style, but i will be keeping this wig with my family. I'M like the wig doctor. I can revive pretty much any wig style any wig, so they give me wigs all the time, and this is one of them that i adopted, and i just want to revive her and see how she looks and she is so nice. But, as you can see, the detergent works like it does give the hair a chance to go back to its original state and it's fluffy. It literally feels like a brand new wig, you guys it's. It doesn't have a smell, it's not sticky. The lace or the cap underneath is not hard at all. It'S it's pretty much a brand new wig, but you guys tell me how you like this wig, i am in love, but the way i'll be wearing this wig is with a cap um, because, just like i said, bangs are not me. So this is how i'm going to be wearing this wig. If i go out um, but again it looks so nice, i'm in love. I love it. Um also made with a beanie for the winner. I think that'll be really cute for this wig, but again the bangs. I just cannot deal with the bangs, but i'm in love with this wig. Now it's a great length um. The ends are, like i said detangled. They hit me like right above the girls. Okay, so it's a nice length, it's nothing too short, nothing too long. This is like my favorite length right here.
