Washing My Headband Wig | Luvme Hair | Vlogmas Day 5

[ Applause, ], [ Applause, ], that's an even lighter light. It love, it is love it okay. I love it so much. Mercy'S writing her name on her birthday. It'S about six in the morning-ish, get it girl. You'Re. Talking about me! I'M talking about you! That'S your name, isn't it i'm gon na tell my birth, my birthday name, what it looks like: okay, don't move? Okay, okay, don't move all right! I got ta all right. You guys. The number one question that i get on my hair review. Videos is how to maintain and wash a headband wig, so i'm going to take you through my headband wig maintenance, routine and how i go from this beautiful sleek braided style to this beautiful, jerry, curl, wavy style. So today i'm washing my love me: hair 20 inch wet and wavy pep band wig. So this is like a jerry, curl type texture, so it definitely needs some maintenance, it's getting dry. So what i do is, i fill the tub with warm water and then i put in my shampoo, so i'm using redken shampoo. This has biotin in it and it's good for strengthening. So i'm gon na add that to my water and just let it bubble up and then i'm going to velcro the headband together, just so that they don't get all messy and i'm just going to submerge that wig into the water and kind of rush it around. So i don't use any manipulation with my hands because i don't want to do any back and forth methods. I try to keep everything nice and smooth. I wring it out very lightly and move everything in the downward direction. I don't want a lot of back and forth with that hair, so if i'm squeezing i'm squeezing down and only down so i hope that makes sense, but i just do that until i feel like i get a really good wash out of it, then i rinse And repeat: i'm just so mad, but now it's at my own expense, [ Applause, ]! So now for the styling switch up. Y'All i've been rocking this braid and i love it, but i'm ready for a switch up already. So i've got my headband wig here. It'S all clean. I can tell that everything is nice and smooth, and it's feeling good. So now i'm just gon na go ahead and take my braid down and put my headband wig on after just securing a nice tight bun in the back, my hair's already slicked down. So i can go ahead and just put my wig on y'all, no braiding, no fuss no leave out. I just put that middle comb in first in the middle of the head put in my side, combs bring that headband around velcro it and voila. After that, all i got to do is put in some products to add some shine and get these baby hairs together to style, i'm starting with patterns. Leave-In conditioner, you all know. I love this leave-in conditioner y'all, but i use about a quarter size, if not more kind of start at the bottom working my way up, because the bottom does tend to be more dry and so yeah just put that in and just use my fingers to detangle. Next, i'm using it's a 10's miracle, defrizzing curl cream. I love this curl cream y'all. It works like a charm and i'm pretty generous with this stuff, but i again start at the ends kind of work, my way up to the mid shaft and then go a little higher. This is where i start to really separate the curls and just let that slip define each and every curl rather than going through with a comb or a brush. So yeah i'm just going to go through and kind of separate kind of do things very freely, because i don't like things to be too perfect and just really add that moisture to the curl before locking everything in with a gel, i'm using diva curls high shine. Multi benefit oil. I just spray this on lightly for extra shine. It really doesn't do too much else, except just make sure i get a good shine out of those curls and last but not least, i've got my eco style black, castor gel. Now this is my go-to gel. What gel do you like to use if you're somebody who is really into natural curly styles? Do you have a favorite gel that you like to use, because i definitely love this gel, it's one of my favorites. It gives me a good hold, i feel like it does, define the curl and hold throughout the day doesn't make it dry or crunchy, or anything like that, but i am always open to trying new things so just comment below if there's a product or gel that You would add to this routine all right, you guys, that's my video for today.
