What'S up y'all, it's your girl, kai and i'm back with another video. By this time now, y'all have seen the title, i'm so so so sorry, this video was delayed. I definitely say that i was gon na give y'all this video last month, but better late than never i'm coming to y'all. Right now, with this video i am about to dye my 30 inch headband wig. Yes, it is time i'm so excited i've. Never ever worn blonde hair before, but i am going to show y'all my whole process from start to finish on camera. So here she go okay. So this is the 30 inch headband wig the headband is black. If you have not seen my original headband wig video be sure to go ahead and check that out, it's just my overall review of the headband wig that headband wig was a 26 inch curly kinky curly from asteria hair, so this is also from asteria hair. This is their 30 inch kinky curly from mysteria hair. I got it in the exact same color. Literally, nothing has changed about the wig. This video was late because i did have some complications the first week that they sent me honestly. I was like what is this: why did you send me this foolishness? It looked so ghetto, it looked so ghetto like it was scraggly at the ends. It was thin, it was not 30 inches, and so what i did was. I actually took two pictures with my 26 inch and the new 30 inch that i purchased. I took them side by side, sent them to a stereo hair and told them that this was not cute. It wasn't cute okay, and i want something else please and thank you. I was very very polite and they were very polite back with me. The shipping was so quick. They were able to provide me with the information to ship the wig back, but they gave me a brand new wig in a matter of two weeks, all together it took for me to ship it back and receive it. It was about two weeks the standard time, but i absolutely love what they sent to me. They definitely corrected their errors and customer service was absolutely amazing, like literally top tier customer service. So i really appreciate a scary hair for that. So what about the mix up? As long as you're able to correct your mistakes, i'm totally fine. Yes, i am a satisfied customer. So i'm just gon na stop talking y'all, be sure to like comment and subscribe and let's get into this video. Okay, you guys so i'm gon na show you guys my material. I have the foil, my mixing bowl. I got clips for days. I have my gloves my combs. I just had any and everything there just in case i needed it or not. I just needed it on hand, so here are all the developers that i'm going to be using. I have two huge 40s. The big 40 is old, but i also have the 30 as well. The 30 is going to give me that darker color and the 40s gon na brighten it for highlights i'm also going to be using the l'oreal, quick blue. This is the bleach i was going to go with b2w or whatever that's called, but i decided to go to l'oreal. I also have plenty of ponytail holders and these are the stars of the show. I got my suave tresemme and shimmer light shampoo and i actually did not use these shimmer lights, but i might go back and tone the hair we'll see what it looks like. So it's time to get started. Yes, man. This is the hair, so i split it in half and i'm just gon na twist this whole section up and get it completely out the way, because this section i'm going to leave dark. I didn't want to color the entire wig, so i was like i want underneath to stay dark and i'm just going to clip that out the way and i'm going to also take some foil and wrap it right on top to cover it up to make sure That no dye touches that section at all. So now i'm going to take my 30 developer and i'm going to put it right on in my mixing bowl - and i know you guys want to see this because i love seeing stuff like this, because it's just so satisfying just to see it happen and also Put in the contents and mix it up so once again, this is my l'oreal, quick blue. This is the bleach, so i'm just gon na put all of that in there and i'm just gon na mix it right on up. It actually took me a minute to mix, because i wanted to make sure that it wasn't too clumpy and i wanted to make sure that it was a good consistency to spread all over the hair. And, as i started looking at, go i'm spilling stuff. But as i started looking at it, i was like oh, my gosh - am i gon na have enough to cover the whole front, half of the wig. So, as you can see, i was very excited. I did my first little section, and so now i'm just going to keep on going and applying that bleach and just working it in for this first section i actually just took pieces of it because i didn't want it to be a clear line of demarcation where You could see it literally split in half from dark to light, so i actually just went through and just picked up certain pieces of hair on this section, but you will see, as i go further up, that i'll go ahead and just grab all of the hair And put the bleach on it, so i'm just going to work! This bleaching get my foil on there, and so now i'm on the half of the the next half of the hair and as you can see, i'm not going all the way up to the roots, because this is a headband wig. I knew my edges were going to be showing and my edges are pretty much a dark brown. My edges match with the wig, so i didn't want to go all the way to the root with the color, because i didn't want it to look like i just slapped the blonde on the back of my head. I wanted it to kind of have an ombre effect so that it would just mesh better with my hair, and so now, i'm just going to take this bleach and just work it into this next section, and so with this section, i'm not picking and choosing the Hair, i'm literally just dyeing all of it just blonde. So this is it complete. What i actually did that y'all didn't see was i took the hair that i was not going to color and i actually put it in its own foil, because that was the best way for me to get it out the way. So it's actually in its own foil and the colored hair is also in its own foil. So now we're going to take it right onto the sink and i'm just about to rinse this wig, i'm going to rinse all the bleach out of it, and i was kind of surprised. I really thought that it was going to lift it a lot brighter. But i was like baby steps baby steps, so i'm just going to take some regular shampoo and just put it all over that wig and i'm just going to lather it up to make sure i get all of that bleach out so that it won't affect me When i complete my next steps of dyeing this wig so right here, this is how light it got. It literally just got a little bit of lighter brown, but i wasn't too excited because i thought it was going to lift it a little bit lighter. But i was like baby steps because y'all know when hair dries, it does appear lighter than what it is. So it's literally just giving like a chocolatey brown right now, but now this is the footage where y'all are able to see the coloring in it just a little better. It'S not dry! I just went ahead and did it back to back so y'all could see a little bit of the color there just turned it a little brown just a just a lighter shade of brown real natural. Like so now, i'm going to go in with my 40 developer and i'm going to go ahead and add my highlights. I'M just going to mix this right on up and get ready to do my highlights. So i saw this little weaving motion that the professionals be doing or whatever, so i did the little weaving motion to pull out where i was gon na. Do my highlights - and i just went ahead and put that bleach right on there. I wasn't scared. I was like: let's do it, let's do it, so i just did the weaving motion all over to where i wanted to have highlights at. I mainly just wanted them on the top. I didn't want them throughout the hair, so i just did them on the top and i covered them in my foil. Okay, so y'all see my friend in the back. She was there with me. While i did this because i was acting scary, but this is the highlight so now i'm taking it right to the sink, i let it sit for a while and i was checking on it to make sure it got as bright as possible. I really did want it to get very, very bright, so this part why i'm rinsing out the bleach i had a moment. I was really trying to figure out if i wanted to tone it or not. I just really wasn't sure i was like. Let me see what it looks like first, when it dries, and i put it on so this is the wig. This is how it came out. I did not tone it. I decided not to tone it immediately. I was like if i want to go back and tone it. I definitely can so here is the wig. This is how the colors came out. It was giving me reese's girl, it was giving me reese's, so i was really loving it, and so this is the wig with the tresemme conditioner on it, and i lathered up this wig and conditioner so much because i did not want to lose the curl. The curl was very important to me when it came to the bleach. I did not want to destroy my curls all right, you guys. So this is the wig. This is my headband wig, i'm gon na get a little closer. Y'All could see her and i have a couple of things to say about this wig, so i'm just gon na turn around and give you guys a 360 really quick and then i'm going to show you guys how long it is, and this is how long it Is just gon na stand up, so you guys can see how long it is. This is how long it is in the front okay. So i do have a couple of things that i want to say about her, so this did take me a minute to color this. I was going for lighter okay, so i actually think i'm gon na go back and do some stuff to it. I just wanted to go ahead and show you guys what i have filmed and what i came out with. So i was thinking. Maybe i'll, do a whole separate video of me adding more highlights to it and toning it like giving y'all. Basically a part. Two of this wig, so i actually love it. You see all the curls are still intact. After all the heavy dyeing and everything, so i'm definitely not afraid to go back in and add another color to it, because i know that it will still stay curly. This hair did an amazing job, just being colored yeah. So this is all i really have to say about it. Um, i'm still trying to get used to it on my skin tone and that's why. I think i want to go ahead and tone this wig, because i think it's cute right, but before i shot this i put on a nude shirt. I looked crazy. I put on a black shirt, i looked crazy, but i have on a white shirt and now i like the hair. So i'm really thinking about adding more highlights to where, like in some more areas, it's just blonder and then going in with a toner or going in with my shimmer light shampoo just to get this color out of it. Because i don't know, i think it looks a little funny on my skin tone, but if i do do that, do not worry you guys will definitely be right there with me. While i redo it, i will film it if i decide to go back in and do anything to this wig, so it will be labeled as part two. So this is it, and i'm just gon na hit a couple of slows, a couple of angles for y'all. So, thank you guys so much for tuning in y'all be sure to like comment and subscribe, and i will see y'all in the next video you
