Headband Wig | Review & Unboxing

Hey youtube, it's me rose. It has been quite a little bit since i have did any sort of video for you all and unboxing, or anything like that, especially when it comes to extensions or wigs or any of those things, because i've just been walking either brace or my natural hair kind Of just like blown out doing this thing, um or you know just in this curly state, so i am finally at that point where once these braids come down, i am ready to um. Do a protective style, essentially maybe wig wearing, is my goal here and um. Basically, just braiding my natural hair, underneath it and keeping it tucked in a way while i allow it to grow um generally. I usually do this like several times a year or where i will have like a certain time period that i just like you know. I braid my hair up. I let it grow. I make sure it's my my scalp is nourished, but i don't do anything else. I don't know if y'all see my minnie me on the floor right here but she's on the floor, messing with my shoes, and so she might be interrupting the video. But if you hear baby noises it's her um, i am about to go ahead and get started. This company is actually from amazon, they're called angel wing um, and i stumbled across them like kind of randomly um, but i went ahead and decided to get it because it was prime day and it seems like it was on sale uh for the price that i Got it versus what it show that it normally calls, so i figured i'd, go ahead and check it out um, but this one is um. It'S basically one of those headband wigs, so essentially no leave that at all again, i'm gon na be braiding up my hair. My natural hair and keeping it tucked up in under a week for a little while, especially while it's super hot, it's currently 109 degrees in texas in my area today, so pretty insane. The weather is the all-time high, extremely bad. We'Re trying to stay on the grid right now, type of weather, so i need to protect my hair from the heat from the sun because the sun and its uv rays and the pollution and all that it does damage your natural hair. So keep that in mind when you're wearing your natural hair out this summer. Yes, it's summer like the humidity is living its life and when is the best time to wear your natural hair other than the summer right. So i've been doing that. But at the same time, that sun is very damaging to your natural hair and your scalp, especially if it's exposed and obviously i have braids so my scalp is very exposed. Um. If i go outside, i try to wear hats or i try not to be in the direct sun too too um frequently so that i'm not causing any damage to my skin or my hair. But with that being said, um i'm gon na go ahead and show you all this wig straight out the package. Okay, they do give you an extra little headband and like some little, i already opened this. But this it's just like a little eyebrow comb and then they give you a free, wig cap, so yeah, and then this is the hair so see. This is 22 inches long. It'S um virgin human hair 100 virgin human hair uh. It is a body wave texture. So that's the curl type, it's a body wave. Let me just take this net off. Really quick. Give me a second okay. Let'S see, let me see if i got a brush or comb in here real quick. I got something this will work, so this is what it looks like straight out: the packet um yeah, i'm i decided to go 22 inches because my natural hair is about 18 like somewhere between that range. I think it's, i think it's 18 yeah, because i last time i tried to i was going to do this video with another set of hair, but i bought 16 inches and it ended up being shorter than my natural hair. When i got it - and it was just not what i was going for so try it again and this time i got 22 inches, and this is what the hair looks like as you all can see, this is the actual little headband part. This is the headband. It can be undone like that, so you can reposition it, how you need to and then on the inside there's a comb at the very bottom. Let me take that silica out, um, there's a comb there and then there's a comb at like the crown section. There'S a comb at both on both sides right here as well, so nothing right at the very center where your edges are, which is good um. So i'm literally going to try this on with my hair and braids and all of these little things here on my beads on my hair right now, um, let's see i'm going to try and put this wig cap on. I can't promise y'all that this is going to work out, but i think it'll be fine, because i just think you will and my voice is cracking a little bit because i have not been feeling too good. Lately um, my other daughter. She is an infant here and she keeps catching these freaking viruses and bacteria infections and all kinds of stuff from all these kids up there and bringing it home and of course, i'm catching it and our whole family is catching it and like it, just keeps happening Because her little immune system has to you know, build up so yeah. Let me try and do this ugh. This isn't going to be exactly how it would probably look since it's going to be bulkier than usual with these beads in my head. But on the flip side, it'll be pretty close because either way my natural hair will be braided up underneath so not that far off regardless. I'M just trying to get all these beads in here so that i can try it on real quick. Let'S see what it looks like that's good enough, i don't need it like perfect under here, because it's not like i'm gon na actually wear this right right now. Right now, i'm gon na wait a little while because these braids are still really cute and they still got some time left on them. So it'll be a minute before i take those down okay, this should be good enough. I think this is decent. Okay, so here's the wig, i'm gon na, go ahead and try it on um. There is this also, this little part right here, these little pieces, where you can make it tighter, i kind of have a smaller head um, but i have a lot of hair which can make my head look a lot bigger. Depending on how tight i braid my hair, so if i bring my hair really tight, then my head will be a lot smaller if that makes sense. As far as fitting this wig goes. Sometimes i have problems fitting wigs when it's really tight and sleek my braids, but if i make them more bulky, then i can fit into it a little bit better, um, so yeah. This is like a little bit more bulky than what my my braids will be. Like i know i'll make them a little bit more uh neater than this as far as how much is sticking up right now, but i'm only gon na do like probably four large braids, maybe two large braids. I really don't like to do too much underneath unless i'm gon na keep it for a very long time. I might do it depending it just depends on how i feel once these braids come down, but for now we're just gon na try it on. Let'S see if i can, okay just so, you know this thing, this is kind of snug, so this will probably fit my hair pretty good once these braids are off actually, but for anybody that has a bigger head be aware that this is kind of snug. Obviously i got all these beads under, so it's to be expected, but still just saying to give you an idea, i have more of like a sometimes i'd, be saying, like peanut hair shape, because, like my head is more smaller overall but so general. This is just what it looks like when i wear it for real. Of course, y'all will see it at that time, i'll probably update whatever the profile picture is to to look like that, but i just want to see what what the cup, what the hair looks like real, quick and how long it is and everything i think this Is pretty good? You know yeah. I think this is pretty good um. It'S easy like throw it on and go kind of ordeal um now the way that i style these is, i would probably have a teensy bit of my edges out, so i can style my edges and then i probably have it back just a little bit where My hair is a little bit shown where, where it looks like you know, i'm actually wearing it um like that, you know just not wear so far up. I would have it a little bit farther back like that. Obviously, you can see these beads and all that which won't be there when i'm wearing it for real, but y'all get the point i'll get the point, but essentially this is kind of how it would look with a little bit less of the bulkiness. So a little flatter, but i think it's pretty cute. As far as the hair is. I am going to wash this hair because i just like to it doesn't smell bad speaking of because y'all know. Sometimes you get hair and it smells bad, but this doesn't smell bad. It actually smells pretty good, it doesn't smell all processed and all that stuff so and it does say virgin. So i guess that's a good thing, because sometimes it says virgin when you get something and then you like it was smelling very processed, but not in this scenario. It actually smells completely fine. It smells good um, but i'm still gon na wash it anyway. Just for the sake of it washing it because i'm gon na wash it oh, let's see, but it's really soft. It'S really really really soft. Like yeah. It'S really soft. I like the way it feels. So that's good, i'm not i'm thinking. There probably won't be no issue with tangles, i'm not seeing any hair coming out. That'S another thing! Sometimes, when you get those new wigs like you'll, be shedding and all that as of right now, i'm not seeing any shed hair, it's very, very lightweight um and it's a good length and it was honestly a really good price. Like i, i know i spent less than 100 on this. To be honest, i don't remember exact price, but i know i spent less than 100 for sure, but yeah this is. This is perfect i'll, be able to do a lot with this i'll probably make my braid now that i know it's kind of snug i'll probably make my natural braids um, really nice and neat underneath when i do wear it, so that it's nice and flat, but Um, this will be easy. This is it's light enough that i'd be fine wearing it in the summer. If i wanted to, you could do like ponytails and all that stuff, because it is a headband and you can put a headband on the on the top of this headband so that it's not shown, and it's all the way around. You know like you. If you want to yeah that is pretty much it, and that was i really like this hair. I'M definitely going to be rocking this, as my next style coming up pretty soon here, so yeah keep a lookout for my instagram y'all. See me posting some pictures when i, when i um, take my hair down i'll, definitely post some pictures and you all will see it at that time on me, but yeah that is okay yeah i like the hair, so i would say so far so good. If anything, changes i'll definitely make a update review. If it's that bad like, if it seems to be like okay, i need to let y'all know like type changes. I will definitely let y'all know, but honestly, i have pretty good hopes for this hair. I think it'll it'll be pretty good. It'S a it's really good quality from what i can tell so i am definitely i can say i'm surprised, given the fact that it is amazon here but um. I have bought amazon here in the past and it was pretty good um. It wasn't this quality, but it was decent quality at the time um. But this this quality is pretty good. It'S no different from hair that i've paid for you know, maybe a year or two ago for like maybe three to four hundred dollars. I would say the quality of this is just as good, if not better, so yeah definitely go check them out and other than that. Thank you all for watching um, yeah i'll just be mommy. These days.
