Slaying My First Headband Wig | Goldenlikehair 22 Inch 1B Straight Hair (Synthetic) | Demo

Hey stars: i'm dashawn hollywood and i'm back with another dope video and today's video is really lit. I upload a video period because, as you guys saw by the title, we are going to be trying on a headband wig electric chair for the first time, and i am just so excited because, like what i've never tried a headband, i can't say it headband wig. Before and um yeah, so i like want to get into it. So if you guys want to find out what's going to happen at the end of this video, you already know what i need you to do: keep watching, okay, also y'all! So um don't judge my hair right now because i know i'm looking like so crazy but um. This is the best way that i know how to mow down my hair, and you know i'm definitely gon na put on like a stocking cap, i'm i believe. Well, i don't know i've heard mixed things like i've heard some people say you do need to put one on and i've heard other people say that you don't have to so i guess at this point it's just like a preference if you want to put it On you can, if you don't, then you don't have to, but i'm putting it on just because i want all the protection possible when um, you know put it on a wig but anyway. So yes, you guys. This is the packaging that it came in. Besides the amazon prime box or whatever um, this is a headband wig straight and it is a synthetic wig and it is 22 inches. Oh, i wasn't aware that it was that long. I actually thought that it was shorter. I thought it was like 18. um, but okay, so, let's get into it. What'S inside of here, i'm gon na open this up for you guys, okay, so first things. First, i see that we have a um stocking cap here to like hold the hair back, which i told you guys. I definitely was going to be using. They sent a pair of 3d eyelashes, which these eyelashes are actually cute, so love that um and they gave uh a headband for the wig, obviously, and then, of course, which you have all been waiting on. The hair. Oh and i don't know if i said it or not, but this hair is in the um color 1b. So it's like a natural like brown, color, um, yeah, okay. So this is the actual hair like of course um. If you've ever received like a wig from a company before then you know that it always comes in like a net. At least it should um, and you get to see what it's working with okay. So this is kind of real cute, like for a synthetica for a synthetic. This is giving me real, like silky vibes had some stuffing in it, but okay. So, as you can see here like we're, now we're gon na just start getting into um the construction of the wig uh, you see it has the velcro velcro like headband, strap right there um so like easy, and then it has the two clips in the back. There'S two clips in the back as you can see here, and it also even has another clip in the front and even like the um straps like more straps or whatever, and i love like the inside because, as you can see like it, has like a nice Little like i don't know what to call this, but i feel like it's nice and ventilated, so that your hair, like won't like be too hot and sweat and stuff, underneath there - okay, yes, all right so before i actually try this on. I want to do my edges, so um, i'm gon na put the stocking cap on and then i'm gon na do my edges for you guys and then we're actually gon na try the wig on to see what she's, given how she's looking like. Is she going to give us inches honey, or is she going to be like a ready, tangled mess? The moment i put it on so, let's find out. So i don't know if you guys noticed that the lighting did go down a little bit. That'S because i am using like natural lighting and also my light, so if it's switched up a little bit, that's the reason why but um so i'm not gon na be able to show you this part uh. So i just wanted to explain it to you or whatever, so i'm about to do my baby hairs. But before i go in and do my baby hairs uh the type of baby hairs that i want to do because i think headband wigs are all about just kind of like baby hairs and then the headband wig or whatever so um, i'm going to straighten like I comb some um out or whatever my baby hairs. I comb them out and then uh i'm going to flat iron them and then after i flat iron them, then i'm going to lay them uh with my edge control and then i'll i'll show. You guys me laying them or whatever, but that's what i'm about to do off camera right now so now. This is what my edges look like when they are um straight or whatever. So now, i'm about to just take my edge control. I am going to be using the edge fixer glued collaboration with sweetie in the um scent cherry blossom, which is so yummy and bomb literally obsessed with this edge control like at first. I didn't like it that much, but then i like learned how to really use it, and i was like oh okay yeah. I got it now. That'S what was wrong with it. I wasn't using it right, but now oh baby. I know how to use it and it bangs so yeah. Let me get all the danielle's grill, just like wait a minute. So here you can see. I finished up with my um edges and i like the way they are nice and laid. I feel, like you, know, they're serving their purpose. Whatever these are a little grown. These are looking baby, but it's okay. It'S her first time doing this so just cut it some slack, but i have the wig i'm about to go ahead and put it on. Hopefully i can do this like first try, oh god, okay! So wait! Oh god! I'M tweaking guys wait a second okay, so i think i finally got it together. Y'All. Hopefully i feel like i'm okay, just trying to get that comb to stick in woo. Okay, that was a bit much okay. Sorry, i was trying to find the baby hairs. Do that hold on. I'M not sure that i put this one correctly guys. I think i need to try again yeah. I don't think that's correct hold on okay, so you guys i was finally able to like get the wig on. So this is what the wig looks like on, and this is without, like you know, the headband that they gave me. This is um just with like the original one that it already comes with like. If you you know you can see here, it already comes with like a headband, so here's the thing i like the way that the week looks like. I think that the wig looks really good, especially for like my first time, putting it on the only thing that i'm noticing that i don't really love or care for is. I can tell that my hair isn't like molded down the bed like, if i think, if i had like a better system of how to mold my hair down properly like it would really be sickening because it would look a lot flatter on the sides which oh Wait hold on. Let me pull her up some. I don't want her to be too far back um, but yes, so this is what it looks like it is that 22 inches like they said. I think this is actually cute now i don't know if i would necessarily wear it down, because i would just have to let me see like because when i wear my hair down y'all know me. I love like a middle part, so i would need for, like i don't know, i need like some type of middle part action but um. Just let me put the other headband on and see like how we feel about it with that one one. So again, this is the headband that we have to work with so um yeah we're gon na put this one way out. I'M gon na get this one. Let'S do it like this? Oh now, where? Where is this baby hair uh around my head? Let'S see the baby hairs period, okay, like i'm, really feeling it now like now. This is like okay yeah. This is me like this is giving a vibe. This is the type of energy that i would definitely be wearing it on it's getting very like girly, like ready to go to lunch, to brunch anything of that sort. That'S definitely what it's giving me. So we love that. Let'S see what it would look like if we brought some or like two pieces to the front. Okay, this is not bad now, i'm feeling it i feel like when it was just like the all black band. I wasn't really feeling it that much, but now i'm like really feeling this like this is just very like barbie, feminine, like energy. That'S what it's giving me like. I just really want to brush my hair all day like it's, giving if marsha brady was black. Okay, like just brush my hair all day, looking cute putting it behind my ear like so cute. We love love, love, love this. This is everything period. I need to get more headbands because i'm going to wear this out, like everyone's probably going to think i got to sew in like no boo, it's a week period. That'S what it's giving! Yes! Oh! I even like it like this with like some in the front. Some in the back so last thing before we close out this video um. I definitely definitely definitely want to see if, like i can, um put this in a bun like. I know it's synthetic, so i don't want to like touch it too much because then it might start to get ready, but we're just going to see for, like the sake of the video, if we could put it in a bun. So that's what i'm about to do now, giving if she's giving we can put her in a bun or not like this is how i usually do my buns, like with my real hair. So i wonder if i'll be able to do that with like this and then, of course i would just take a big hair tie and boom okay wait hold on. It needs to be tighter because i'm like i want it to be still okay. So here, if we wanted to give like messy bun vibes like we could definitely do this like this, it's like literally falling like exactly how my hair falls. So that's like kind of crazy like because this really looks like my hair like this is how my hair falls like when i have it in buns. So we love that so we can put it in a bun. We can clear i mean if we can put it in a bun, then we obviously can put it in a ponytail. So let's see what our ponytail would be given we're just gon na go for like a little pony for right now. Okay, wait like something sorry! I felt like something was like caught. I was like what is going on here, yeah, it still feels like oh see. This is what i was talking about about that synthetica. I might have did too much y'all. Let me just so yeah this. Is it and a love pony? So it's versatile, you could do a lot with it obviously um and it it really like brushes out pretty easily i've just been going from the bottom up and like the tangles, have been getting right out. So i love that about the hair as well. Um yeah. This is super cute. So before we close out this video, i just want to give a special uh.
