Never Throw Another Synthetic Wig Out Again! Caution: Life Of Wig Will Last Longer Than You Expect!

One of the topics on our channel that has garnered a lot of attention is our discussion of the human hair industry and how incredibly toxic it can be because of this video. A very funny situation happened. I believe a viewer watched this video of us discussing the human hair industry and then took a look at another one of our videos and left a comment Down Below. In this comment. The viewer accused me of wearing Asian hair in an attempt to frame me as a hypocrite. Please keep in mind that none of the videos I make are ever to condemn others, but rather to bring up topics that pertain to black women in hair, and that includes my own actions as well, but back to the story. What makes this situation hilarious is that in this video I was wearing synthetic hair. You see, since I have been a heat train natural. I wear my natural hair out most of the year, so My conception of human hair has decreased significantly for some of you who might be new to our Channel. I have been a heat tree natural since cutting my hair off for a YouTube experiment. In December of 2019., I began to heat train my hair September of 2020, and since then, this channel has been making many advancements in the world of heat training due to largely wearing my hair straightened out. I invest most of my time and effort into my own hair rather than hair extensions. As a result, I have been using a synthetic u-part wig if I desire to add length or a little bit of drama to my hair in this video that the person was referencing. I was wearing synthetic hair and instead of being offended by this comment that this person made, I was impressed by the fact that people believe that this was human hair and the fact that this you part way, still look good enough to be mistaken for human hair. After months of use, this experience - and this comment actually inspired a new project that we'll be starting here on Dynamic touch and it's called the synthetic hair project. The first time I wore the synthetic u-part wig was December 7th of 2001.. It is now October of 2020.. That'S a little over nine months that this hair is still going strong. Imagine a world where black women could purchase synthetic hair and have it last as long as mine had we live in a modern world where synthetic hair now looks exactly like human hair. There are now an assortment of colors Styles patterns and textures. Unfortunately, there is one thing that is hindering synthetic hair from being great, and that is the fact that synthetic hair is unreliable. You see the only reason why the majority of women gravitate towards human hair is because human hair is reliable. It has longevity - and I talk about this in another video, about mastering hair extension. You need something that is reliable. That'S going to get you through your day-to-day and synthetic hair, as beautiful as some pieces might be, cannot provide that security at this point in time it Tangles too much and although it looks really great, it doesn't last. But what, if that all, could change what? If it became normal to have reliable synthetic hair, those are the questions I asked myself and that's how the synthetic hair project was born. First and foremost, I would like to thank God for this idea and for the solutions that he provided me. The synthetic hair project will be showcased as a series on this channel and we can't wait for you all to see what we have in store today, we'll be testing out our product against a beautiful but notoriously problematic, wig, Janet Collection, Juliana wig. Three years ago, this wig took the Internet by storm. The Wake was long, it was beautiful and I think its appeal was not only the wave pattern, but the fact that it had a lot of visible texture and even the frizz on the wig made the hair. Look beautiful, I saw this wig on other YouTubers and I purchased it. I ended up loving the wig, but there was one major problem. It began to tangle as soon as you took it out of the pack. This wig is so problematic, like just trying to run your fingers through or style it or put it back snack snack snag. It'S really uh aesthetically pleasing wig, but the fibers are just disastrous. Before beginning this project, I had done a photo shoot and if it wasn't for this project, I probably wouldn't have purchased the synthetic wig ever again so for the photo shoot that I wore it in. It was literally destroyed in two days two days and I just tossed it to the side and was just like you know what I don't know about this wig like it looks nice, but it's just just a mess so for our first challenge here on this channel, We would like to try our product against the highly loved pretty yet difficult and highly problematic wig Juliana. We will show that, with the synthetic hair project, we will vastly expand and change the characteristics of the fibers of this wig. So let's get started talking everyday.
