I almost forgot to do an intro for this hairstyle. I have a like hair piece, I guess or like a a fake ponytail, and I thought it was super cute. I got this from you, nice hair and I wanted to try it out. This is the first time I've ever tried it, and I am obsessed with this because it's an easy, quick, hairstyle kind of once. I got the hang of it because I had to figure out where my bun can go um, because my natural hair is so thick. So it was kind of hard to hide it underneath, but once I finish it, it looks super cute, but I showed you how I did this hairstyle. So if you want to see how to do this, I will I will. I was like thinking too. I was just like also I'll leave the link in the description box if you're interested in this ponytail by the way, and now, let's get into the tutorial all right. So I started off looking like a Cabbage Patch Kid. I'M gon na spray, my hair with some water and I make sure to get it super wet. So we can get a Sleek ponytail, I'm not the best with like the sleekest pony ponytails. But you know I get the job done. I have a lot of breakage as you guys can see on the front of my hair, so I'm working on it, I'm wearing more natural hairstyles, so we're trying to get it together. So now we're adding some gel. I think it was the extreme gel. I don't know you saw it, it's a blue gel. I think it works really really well. I like this with my wash and goes as well, so I'm just taking this on and getting my hair, nice and slick. So I'm like molding it with my hands at first and then I'm gon na grab a like brown brush or a rough brush, whatever you want to call it and I'm going to brush my hair down. So it can be like, like I said, before, a Sleek ponytail, because we want to match the hair texture of that ponytail. So I need it to be as slick as possible, even though it's like a kind of kinky straight hair. So now I'm going to get a uh, I was gon na, say rubber band, but it's like a scrunchie or whatever. I guess it is a rubber band. So I just added it to my hair. I'Ve seen so many different ways to do it. Um methods where they like, I don't know it's kind of like a headband and then you squeeze it up. I feel like I'm gon na, try that next time, because sometimes my ponytail becomes lumpy and it's not like the sleekest style. So I'm gon na try a different way next time and then I'm wrapping it into a bun, and I try to do it as flat as possible. I did this step over and over and over again to make my bun um flatter, because the first time I did it, it was kind of bulky. So now I'm grabbing another rubber band and securing that and now I'm going to add the ponytail as you guys can see it has like one comb and then that long string of hair, so you can wrap it around um. I didn't cut this part as much so you guys can see me put it on my head. I hope you guys can hear me because I know the fan turned on on my computer. I definitely need to get a mic uh, but anyways. I'M gon na wrap the piece of hair that Curly part around my my ponytail, like my natural hair, so that it'll be nice and secure. So I'm going to keep wrapping it and make sure it's like super tight, not like tight, where you get a headache but like tight enough where your ponytail doesn't fire fly away and then they're like chasing it down the street, like you, don't want that. So I made sure to make it like Hella Tight, but not too tight these voiceover things. It'S been a while, since I've done a voiceover so bear with me, but anyways, I'm wrapping it and wrapping it and wrapping it and then I'm going to grab a pony. Not a ponytail, a bobby pin and I'm going to secure the ponytail in my hair, so I'm doing that. It took me a minute too, because my hair was so thick under there. So I was like really pushing that bobby pin in to make sure that the ponytail was nice and secure, and I accidentally bobby pin some of the ponytail. So I pulled that out so now I'm whipping it flipping it. As you guys can see, it is kind of high, so I did redo it. So it's a little bit lower the next time. You see the clip because I wanted it to be flatter a little bit because it's pushing my ponytail up, which is a-okay. So now we're going to add some baby hairs. I try to show as much as possible because in the beginning I sucked up baby hairs and I feel like I've gotten a lot better and I'm going to use this edge control it's from Kiss and I believe it's a kiwi scent which smells really really good. I'M almost out of that, so that sucks, I need to get another edge control. So now I'm just laying down all of my hairs that I brushed forward and then we're gon na swoop it up so that'll, look nice and sleek. I feel like baby hair. Is your skin, your hair, a little Razzle Dazzle, so I love to add baby hairs and also it covers my forehead a little bit because my forehead, the Metro, Boomin, sometimes so, just swoop. Your little baby hairs like how you like it once again, I'm still working on it, but I feel like I've gotten a lot better, which I'm so proud of myself, because I got better at baby hairs. It took me forever to get there, but in due time, if you're still struggling with baby hairs, you got it, you will get it. So this is what the final look looks like. I hope you guys enjoyed the little tutorial. It was super simple, literally, a five minute style, so I hope you guys enjoyed, and I will see you guys in my next video - see ya.
