Kinky Curly Versatile Cap Wig! | 4 Styles | + Review | Curls Queen

Today'S video, i have a human hair wig review for you, guys um, and this is going to be from the company curls queen. So i'm going to be reviewing one of their versatile cap wigs. I have reviewed a versatile cap wig before um one other time. It was a kinky straight texture, but this one is going to be a kinky curly texture, which is one of my favorite textures to review, because i think it complements like my natural hair texture. So i'm going to go ahead and read the specs for you guys. This is their versatile cap wig, so as it compares to headband wigs, it does not come with a headband. So if you're somebody who likes to have a bit more versatility than what the headband wigs offer, you can do a lot of different styles with the versatile cap. Wigs they do have a drawstring on it. You guys already saw the unboxing of this wig and the cap construction and everything um. I have it right now in front of my fan, which is drying for a few hours. While i did my makeup, you do have that drawstring in the back, so you can do ponytails and stuff, and that's why i have my hair slicked back. So i can do a ponytail with this wig. So yeah, i'm gon na do a ponytail with this wig and probably three other styles, for you guys as well. So this is the wig that i have is 18 inches. This is the kinky curly texture, which is 3c to 4a. Speaking of the kinky curly texture, i told you guys that's like one of my favorite textures to review. I have a whole playlist that i recently created called kinky curly, wigs that has different price points from different companies and everything on there so definitely check that out. I have it on the info card for you guys, as well as in the description box. It has a natural black, color um to me, it's a little bit darker than the typical natural blacks that i get from companies, but i'm still gon na make it work. Um, the cap construction is called their versatile, drawstring, ponytail wig and the hair type is premium brazilian virgin hair, and this is supposed to last um at least six months even longer, if you, you know, take good care of it. So those are the specs on the wig. Let'S see this price point here: okay, so the starting price for this wig at the shortest inches with the shortest inches is 14 inches and it's 169.90, but the more specs you add to it. The more inches you add to it, the price is obviously going to go up. I have 18 inches and mine is, is 239.90, so so i'm gon na go ahead and take the wig off of my mannequin head here. My canvas head. This canvas head will be in my amazon storefront, as well as all the materials i use to get this wig together. So before we get into the styling portion of this video. These are what the curls look like after i washed it and let it air dry. I did have a piece of like white string in here that i wanted to note, but i just pulled it out. Okay, so what i did to wash this wig, i usually use my aussie conditioner and stuff um, but i use my cream of nature conditioner this time just because it was close by so i only co-washed this wig. This is brand new, so i didn't feel like i needed to use shampoo, but you can, if you would like, and i used my leave-in conditioner after i after i co-washed the wig and then i clumped the curls with my felicia leatherwood brush. All those materials will be in my amazon storefront, let it air dry, and this is what the curls look like. So as far as my natural hair, i have type 4 hair here and it's been kind of a struggle with me. As far as like getting my hair together when it comes to ponytails and stuff, so that's why you don't see me do a lot of those on my channel, but today i feel, like my hair, looks very sleek. You know this is my natural hair in a ponytail, and i'm going to tell you guys the products that i use to get this. You know sleek ponytail. First of all, i sprayed my hair with a little bit of water. This is not my hair is not freshly washed or anything, but you can do that um. So i just sprayed my hair with a little bit of water, and then i brushed it back with my felicia leatherwood brush and like a hard brush, and then i put eco styler gel on it. So one of the first ingredients in eco styler gel is water. So sometimes you know when you put gels on your hair that have a lot of water in it. It'S going to make your hair revert and it's not going to be as sleek, but today i mean i feel, like my hair looks very sleek. So that's what i did for my edges. I used my. She is bomb edge control. All this stuff will be in my amazon storefront, and this is what we have going on and if you like, my earrings y'all get into my earrings, they look so posh and sophisticated. These are from monet, dior couture. She is a fellow youtuber deanna monet and i picked up some earrings from her and these are so gorgeous. I feel like it goes really well with my gingham top. I love the look so um i'm going to get into some styling with this wig, i'm going to start off with a like a ponytail like an extended ponytail back here and see how that goes about you yeah is don't hesitate. Just give me your help. Let'S go okay, so you guys saw the ponytail so the cap of the wig. This is, you know, a versatile cap, so this is essentially a wig, but you can obviously do it as a drawstring ponytail like i did, but this this opening here is going to be really wide because you can wear it as a wig, so i did feel Like i needed to probably move these combs closer together when, if i decide to wear this as a ponytail again, i would do that, but it looked really really cute and i wanted to do that first, because i wanted to make sure my hair would uh cooperate. So now i'm just going to do a classic headband look with a headband and the headband i'm going to use. Is this beautiful light blue headband from steel, looking goods, company slg58? I have on pink - and i think, pink and blue look good together, but we'll see how this how this goes. So i'm just gon na put the comb at the top. I usually do not use combs, but this the base of this wig is, you know, just a bunch of comb, so i'm gon na use it today. I wouldn't recommend doing this all the time, because you know you could get breakage and that's why i do prefer headband wigs, but i can see how a lot of people like this as well. Oh first of all, this is cute already i like these curls, the curls were um pretty out like fresh out the pack, but i love to wash my wigs um before i wear them, because i think the curl pattern looks more natural when you do that with Regardless of the wig, so i might change my earrings, but we'll see this is such a girly feminine look. So i'm gon na look for hi, i'm gon na look for my pick and fluff this out. This is a nice thick headband and it's it's good quality and it's handmade and it's it's a black owned business, so support. If you can, she does have a a lot of different designs that she does and she sells them for an affordable price. I'M pretty sure this was five dollars and this is her spelman um headband and you might see a womp back there because i do have that low ponytail back there. I'M just going to do my small gold chunky hoops. I think these are from nas yeah. They are from nasty gal if we now we ever found our way. We will make just give me your all is mm-hmm. I can see you looking at me yeah my eyes wide, so you want me to set you free. Take a walk with me outside. Tell me everything about you all right guys, so you saw the styling portion of this video. I did four styles for you guys. I did that low ponytail. I did um a classic headband wig look all down and i did a top knot. Kind of bun look and then i did this half up, half down style, so um, you guys tell me down below which style was your favorite like how this looks with these earrings? It'S accessories can make or break like certain looks as well, but i really like the first look with the low pony. I really don't wear my hair like that a lot, so i thought that was really cute. So, as far as this wig goes um, this is a versatile cap wig and it does offer a lot of versatility. As far as styling goes. I only get four styles, but you can do a lot more than that um. But when it comes to like people who suffer from hair loss, i would recommend a a headband wig versus something like this, because yeah you have to rely on the combs and the the reason for the versatile cap. Wigs is to blend your hair, sometimes with it. Of course, you can wear the classic headband look, but i just feel like you're, going to have more ease and security with a with a headband wig versus this. But on the flip side, if you're somebody who feels kind of limited with the headband wigs go with something like this, because you can do so much with it as far as like shedding and tangling um, i don't have tangling and stuff like that, because with my Curly wigs once i have detangled it during the washing process, i really don't run my fingers through it and i always manipulate my curly wigs while they are wet as far as shedding i did get some shedding during the washing process, regardless of the price point of The wig you're gon na get shedding with kinky curly wigs. That'S just you know the name of the game. Um i feel, like the price point, is pretty fair. It'S in the 200 range for this 18 inches and, of course, if you want a cheaper price point, you can go with a shorter length and, like i said, i do have a kinky curly playlist that spans like five six years. So i have a ton of content on that playlist, so check it out. If you want to see different price points, different curl patterns, different colors and stuff from different companies, everything is on there, it'll be on the info card and in the description box. So, on a day-to-day basis, i personally am going to reach for a headband wig, because i don't like blending my hair and doing a whole bunch of manipulation. That'S because you know i just don't feel like doing that, but um. If you have the time and you want to blend your hair, i think this is cool to have in your it's cool, to have in your wig collection. So you can have some versatility, you don't have to hide the headband and you know do all that kind of stuff. This is just another option for you.
