Easy Half Wig Install Under 5 Minutes | Jamiah Davis

Hey you guys welcome back to my YouTube channel today's video. If you cannot tell my tell below I'm going to be giving you guys a little hair, install video, I'm going to show you guys how I install my half wigs, how I do them and sort of kind of give you guys a little tutorial. In the same sense, if you know what I mean the wig I'm going to be using today, is this really cute kinky curly wig? I don't remember the name, but I don't know where I got it from because my mom gave it to me. This is totally out the box for the hair that I would usually wear, but I like it, I'm feeling it. This may be my shortest video I've made because it really doesn't take me that long, but with me you never know, but regardless. I don't want to talk too much so without further Ado. Let'S get this video Start. Okay, you guys so to start off. I start off with my hair slicked back. You can slick your hair in a ponytail, a bun, whatever you want to do, but I just slick mine back. I do I usually do this the night before so I don't have to do this in the morning. So yeah and that's just when I get it the slickest, but after I do this, I go ahead and do my edges before I put on my wig cap. I use this true Edge to do my edges, it's literally 2.99 from the Beats By store. I love this stuff. My edges stay slicked. Even now you can still see my edges slicked a little bit from yesterday, but I'm going to re-slake them. Make them look cuter. If you don't have this, it should be sweat store. You can also use Edge booster. That works really good um and probably Eco Styler, depending on your hair type. Okay. So to start off, I'm going to spray the perimeter of my hairline, where my edges are, where I'm going to lay them at with my mixture. This is just watering my favorite conditioner, you guys, which is this olive oil strength and replenishing conditioner. This stuff smells so good and it's one of my favorites, so I put it in this bottle and it works wonders, but I'm just going to take this and spray. The perimeter so that it's easier to adjust my edges from yesterday, I'm just gon na spray. This it doesn't have to be a whole lot because you don't want what you just laid to lift and I'm just going to rub it into my edges is and starts flicking them. Now you can use a comb or whatever you want, but I'm going to use my little toothbrush. Thank you, foreign. You guys. So I just finished my edges. This is what they're looking like. I think they came out so cute. I might need to redo this one. Just because it's not that prominent hold on that's gon na have to do anyways. Now I can go ahead and get started with putting on my wig, so I'm going to start with putting on a little. What is this called wig cap? I'M gon na put it on behind my edges, so I don't mess them up just like that. There'S you guys toe and then I'm gon na push it back just a little. I'M gon na take my hands and slide it back to really wherever you feel like stopping I'm gon na stop it here, because this is how much I want my hair to be out. Then I'm going to take my half wig, which is just this really cute. Curly kinky wig that my mom gave me and I'm gon na go ahead and place this on my head. This particular wig has a comb in the front and then a comb in the back as well as adjustable straps, I'm just gon na take it. You can flip it on your head. You can do what you want, but I'm gon na bring it over like this. So you guys can see exactly what I'm doing. I'M gon na take the comb and I'm going to shove it into my hair. Take the comb like right here, if you guys see that and I'm just going to push it underneath my hair, so that if I tug on it, it's not going anywhere because it's latched and then I'm going to do the same with the back. Give me one. Second, okay, then, you can fluff out your hair. Do whatever you want. This is cute. I like this hair. You guys my mom gave me this now. If you want extra protection for your wig, you feel like those Combs aren't going to last. You can take some bobby pins and you can put some on the sides um, I'm just gon na. Do this to show you guys like right here. If there's no comb, you can just bobby pin it in and it's not going to lift now. This is where you bring in the headband of your choice: I'm just going to do a regular gray one, because I'm wearing gray today, I'm just take this headband y'all and you want to place well. You want a thick headband to begin with or a wide headband, and you want to place it right over the part where the wig starts and your wig like, where you can see your hair ends. So I say your wig ignore me, as you can see, I'm gon na put it right over it. Just like that check up behind my ears, then you can adjust the wig over the headband, how you like it really doesn't matter to me as long as that.
