Are Headband Wigs Really Worth It?! Testing Out The New Trend! Ft. Myfirstwig

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, thank you for clicking to watch today's video hope, you're all doing well. Today i am going to be trying out a headband wig. Now i've seen loads of people review these um and at first i was really skeptical because you know when you watch videos - and you just feel like everybody's just saying. Oh, it's great it's great, but actually it's a bit of a joke and that's kind of how i felt this week would be um. But i started seeing some looks and i was like people are really slaying this headband wig. I need. I need to try it like just to see what it's like so today i am trying it so i am bringing to you guys a headband wig. This wig was sent to me from my first week um and i'm super excited, because, if this like, if this is really a thing like this might be my new thing, you know what i mean because then grab one and go wigs, i'm all about, like the Quickness when it comes to installing my wigs, i'm all about the glueless life - and i just want things to be done - boom bam out of the house. So if this is it then baby we might be on to a winner. This is what inside the box looks like. So as usual, you get your wig and it does come in this little packet, which is great for storing and traveling, and then you also do get three additional headbands and um. You get a wig cap and, as usual, my facebook always give you this little pouch, it's actually different. This is what their other old pouches looks like, and this is what this pouch looks like and what is really interesting. This time is, they gave me edge control, and this is the my first wig slash. Rpg show edge control, i'm i never knew. This was a thing. I never knew my first week did edge control, but they do and i've got it. So this is what it looks like. I think i'm gon na test this out, i'm gon na see what this edge control really does, i'm actually right now yeah. This is supposed to be like a super, quick, something that you can throw on if you're going to the office. If you're going running errands, if you're going to the gym - and you don't really want to be in the gym with um your wig cap, then this should be the perfect wig for you. So i have just got my hair into these little two plaits right here. They'Re quite chunky, but i think we'll be okay and then i'm going to just use a wig cap to just hold those down and in place i'm going to just cross them over. So this is her. This is what this wig looks like. This is what the construction um looks like so inside you do get three combs. You get three combs one, two, three comb, four combs! Actually, you get four combs, so you get two either side, one in the middle and then one at the back and then it does also have like the normal adjustable little grips that you can pull to tighten your wig and then you get the headband portion, which Has velcro that you can um adjust all the way along here to fit your head? So what i'm going to do is first just kind of get my edges intact, because we're looking a little bit rough, i'm gon na use the edge control and my edge brush, and i think i'm pretty much just gon na go for like a basic like slicked. Back maybe like a couple of baby hairs at the front kind of thing: um you see it did hold down at first, but now my edges are starting to lift up ciao. Let me go to my my gummy. I'M gon na go back to my gummy, because this is what really holds my edges. I feel like putting on another wig cap on top, because my my two plaits are just so heavy right now that it's just like pushing this wood cap off, then i'm just going to take the two little velcro straps cross them over at the back and then Clip that in place - so this is what this is looking at - you guys this is secure. This wig is not going anywhere. I am going to um just get some water spray, this hair a little bit just to kind of actually, maybe i just want it bigger. I think i just want it a bit more because right now the curls are looking a little bit too perfect for me, and i don't really like that too much. I think i'm just gon na comb it out, and so it's a little bit bigger. So now that we have got this sitting a bit better, i am going to throw on one of the headbands, because you could just leave it like this with this black one um. But i'm going to show you guys what it looks like with the three different headbands. So, let's start with this one, but how cute is this one i like this? This has given me very much like holiday. I feel like on holiday. That'S when you wear like all the like floral, prints and stuff. I actually really like this one. This is super cute. Next, i'm gon na try this yellow one on. Oh, this is cute. This is so cute. This color is giving me like baby doll like a little dolly. This is so cute. I really like this one. I like, yellow anyway yellow's one of my favorite colors, but this is so cute and you guys you can actually wear this wig um tied up like in a bun in a ponytail and i'll show you what that looks like i've. Just done a really like tragic, terrible bun, but you get the idea. You can wear your hair up as well, and this is what it looks like. So if you're like running to the gym, um running some errands - and you don't really want your hair like all down whatever you could just tie it up or just put it in a ponytail and you're good to go right now, the back of my hair is A bit bulky because you guys saw the fat plaques that i had, but if your hair was like cornrowed down, then obviously it would not look like this, but i've got a lot of hair back here. So mine is looking a little bit bulky, but that's my fault, but i'm gon na take my hair down and let's try on this last headband, and this is what the third headband looks like. I actually really like this one. I think it's super cute and i don't feel like it looks childish. You know i mean sometimes like animal print can either look like really old, lady or like really like tacky and childish, but i think this looks really cute. I actually really really like this and they've got so many different headbands that you can choose from. I just selected the three that i like, but they've got like loads. You just literally pick um a bunch of headbands and then it will come with your box. Alternatively, you can have any other headband that you would have at home, or you can find in in the stores just grab a couple of different headbands chuck that on and it will look like a new rig every time. Yes - and this is human hair so like with this texture, if you wanted to blow it out and have it more like afroe, you can do so um, you can add color to it. If you want to add color to it, you can do you basically can just treat it like normal, like a normal wig, normal bundles, because it is human hair. You guys. I think this is actually like. I'M actually very happy that i tried this out because, like i said at first i was so skeptical. I was like um that look just is a bit of a gimmick to me because you know sometimes you see things it'll be like a wig attached to like a hat or something or like a wig attached to like a scarf or something you know. So when i saw like a wig attached to a headband, i was just like this is given me like childish vibes, but i i eat my words. I take it back because i actually really really like it for people who are looking to like get into like wigs but you're, not confident with lace, wigs or like closure, wigs or like having like frontals and hair lines to pluck and all of that stuff. This is the perfect kind of wig for you, because it's your own hairline, so you can make it look as natural as you want to. If, like i said, if you want, you can pull this all the way forward. If, let's say you're, not really uh, you don't really want to have your own edges out of your hairline up. You can pull the wig all the way forward and pretty much just have the headband over the front of your hairline um or if you want to show your own edges, you can pull it back. You can do different things. You can do some cornrows and then have the week or um. You can do like a part in you can do so many different styles of it and it's just so easy. This took me all of what three minutes. The longest part was probably uh fluffing it out, like it literally took me three minutes to put on and i'm good to go. But let me know what you guys think of this wig is this something that you would get i would 100 recommend like. I need to get a headband wig in every color every length, every texture i like, i actually need more.
