Hey guys welcome back to my channel if you are new here, my name is carlos. I do hair beauty fashion and entrepreneur videos, so if you are into any of that kind of stuff, make sure that you hit the subscribe button down below and become a part of the clique. So in today's video i'm going to be sharing with you, how i wash this beautiful unit on my head as well as maintain it. So if you are into this unit - and this look or you just want to know how to maintain your wigs just keep on watching so you guys this unit was sent to me by love me hair. Thank you. So much love me hair for sending me this unit, so this wig comes with wig caps. It comes with an iridescent bag. That says, love me hair on it. It comes with an edge brush. A love me, hair, pin bobby pins, which is always needed. Okay, an extra strap as well as tweezers. They also sent me an edge wrap with their name on it. And last but not least, i got some headbands. They gave me five in total and they're two different types of headbands, so that was super nice. Normally they only come with like three and they're all the same type. Last but not least, i have the wig, so this is their jerry, curl, headband wig, you guys and, as you can see, the shine on this wig is everything. The texture is everything. It is 20 inches long and y'all. The wig cap sticking to my wall is really sending me like. How did i not notice that, like that's getting on my nerves, but anyway, let's focus on this texture y'all, the texture is everything and, as you can see, the wig is very full. So here's the construction of the wig it just has the headband attachment with the velcro in the back, as well as three combs in the front, and then you have your one comb in the back. So i'm going to show you guys how i wash this wig. You want to start out with a clean sink of course. Please people, then you want to saturate your wig with water. Now, please you guys, especially because this is a thick unit, be sure to spend some time just saturating the hair. I'M going to make sure i get the roots, the ends you guys all of it, and you also want to make sure that you part the hair in different ways to get the center of the wig drenched as well. And you want to make sure that you're not getting the hair all tangled up in the combs, which is very easy to do as well. So once the hair is fully saturated, i'm going in with my aussie conditioner. I normally go with moist, but this time all i had was miracle smooth or whatever you don't want to use shampoo people. I only use shampoo on the combs or lace if my wig has lace, because you have to remember that it is a wig. It'S not connected to scalp, so it can't replace the hair with natural oils once it's super dried out, so i don't really use shampoo unless i use like a bunch of hairspray on the hair. So anyway, guys as this is fresh out, the box, i'm just using conditioner, as you can see, the hair is shedding a bit that is completely normal, so i'm making sure to part the hair and douse it in conditioner i'm getting the roots, i'm getting the ends. I'M getting the center of the wig, don't neglect the center of the wig. You guys the wig is super thick, so i really do have to like part the hair in different ways to make sure i get all of it and i'm also running my hands through it just a bit just to get some of that shed hair out before I go ahead and detangle so once i'm done with all of that, i'm gon na allow the wig just to sit in the conditioner and condition for 30 minutes. This is crucial. I don't like to detangle until the conditioner has some time to really set into the hair and work its way through. So after the 30 minutes are up, i'm going in with my felicia leatherwood brush. I learned this trick from miss naturally mary's channel. She said when you have curly hair use this brush, in particular to detangle your wigs when you're washing them and the curls are gon na pop. I don't know how or why this works like no other brush, but literally this is the best thing i've ever tried. It literally makes the curls super curly and defined, and they clump together as well. I do apologize for having my arm all up in y'all way as well y'all, but it was hard to shoot from this angle, so it was hard to detangle this hair a bit because you know it was super heavy in my hands as it was wet, it Was doused in conditioner and then on top of that, i'm trying to brush out the curls that it came with because it looked more like ramen noodles and we don't like that. Look, okay, so it did take some time. It did take me parting. The hair different ways to fully detangle the hair as well and get all of that shed hair out. So you can kind of sort of already see the difference here. You guys compared to what it looked like when it first came out the box, and i'm also going to show you the difference because yeah this is a part that i did not detangle yet compared to what the other side of the wig looks like it's more Clumped and defined - and we love that and then i'm going to go ahead and rinse out the wig and y'all i'm so sorry. I got my hairy arm in your face, so i'm rinsing out the hair thoroughly again make sure to open that wig up part it in different ways, just to make sure that you got all that conditioner out. Take your time with this okay um, because you want to make sure you get all that conditioner out. Otherwise it's going to weigh the hair down, but look at these curls like aren't they just beautiful. You probably can't even tell the difference now you'll be able to see it in a moment once i put it back on the mannequin head and it's fully dry. So this is the amount of shed hair that i got as you can see, not much, not bad. At all, shedding is completely normal, so then i set it out and allowed it to dry for the following day, and this is what the curls look like. There'S no product in this y'all look at the shine. Look at how curly the ends are. Look at how clumped they are y'all. This brush is everything like this is the key. You can try this with a regular brush. I promise you it's not going to look like this. I'Ve tried it myself and have not seen anything like it and then i'm going to go ahead and separate the hair, because i'm going to begin to apply my mousse now when you're separating the hair. Please be careful you guys, you don't want to disturb the curl pattern, otherwise you're creating more work for yourself, so i'm spraying the hair a bit because i allowed it to dry completely before starting this process and then i'm going to go ahead and go in with My aunt jackie's frizz patrol mousse - this is my favorite mousse y'all, okay, it's super great for thick hair like this and i'm dousing the hair in this, because i wanted to keep this curl pattern that you see here. I want it to be nice and defined. I'M making sure that i get those roots i get the ends. I'M not really running my fingers completely through the hair, because i don't want to disturb the curl pattern, but i do want to get that mousse in between the curls just to hold each individual curl. As well so you're gon na see me apply lots of mousse to certain areas like the front. The ends as well as the very top as these are the parts that are all going to be seen, and i do want a bit of volume, but not too much, and i still like definition. So that's why i'm using a lot of mousse. If you want less definition and more volume, then obviously you would use less mousse, but i don't recommend not putting any product in it at all, because it's going to be a frizzy mess. If you don't it's gon na just look like a huge afro. If that is your look, then go for it, but i do recommend putting at least a little bit of mousse into your hair before wearing it out, and here is a close-up of the curls once i have put all the mousse in it and then i'm just Gon na let this sit until it's completely dry. I didn't do my hair until the following day, as you can see, i'm applying more mousse y'all, i'm not playing okay. I don't want too much frizz, because i know this hair is already gon na be big. So here i've already allowed my hair to sit under the edge wrap with some edge booster edge control to lay them down and, as you can see, we're looking decent okay. So then i'm gon na apply my wig cap and then apply the wig. I did allow my wig to fully dry before i applied it, and then i'm folding the headband so that i can apply my own headband. This is really important. I wouldn't leave it sitting flat out the way that it comes. I like to put bobby pins in the headband wigs as opposed to using the combs, because the combs put on a lot of extra weight on your edges and cause very, very painful headaches. So i just don't use them and then i'm using my own scarf. As my headband here, just because the headbands that they provided didn't go with my shirt - and i really like this look as opposed to the headbands they provided. So i'm really glad that i went for this one, and here is the final look as you can see. Nice and big, but you can still see the curls they're still defined and the wig is very full. I love that so much you guys. This wig is just perfect, so just stay tuned for my final review. I also want to mention that this wig actually looks even better after wearing it for a couple days and it's not as defined and as uniform y'all when it gets even bigger. It looks even more natural because it shrinks up a bit there's more frizz. It just looks way better and i wish i took a video or a picture, but i completely forgot, but i did want to mention you guys. It looks even better when it's a bit more natural, looking and yeah. I just i freaking, i'm obsessed with this wig. This is my new favorite y'all. All right, you guys. So this is the final look and i have to say i'm feeling it like. I really love this curl pattern get into it y'all. This curl pattern is her thick. I like it way more than i thought i would. I wasn't really sure what to expect, but i'm really feeling this i'm so glad i got this texture. It just is perfect. As a reminder, this is the jerry curl headband wig in 20 inches. The quality is amazing. The curls i mean y'all saw it from the clips like the way that the water just ran through it. The curls started to define themselves, especially with that brush. I feel like it looks natural with my edges, just because it's a curlier texture, you know i have natural 4b hair, so i'd be needing curly textures to look decent with these headband wigs um. I don't think i'd ever try like a straight headband wig. For that reason, because my edges are not straight okay, but i really love this curl pattern and how my edges look with it. I feel like if you look quick enough, it looks natural, you know what i mean, but yeah guys. I love the volume of the hair as well. It'S nice and full very, very full, and that's personally how i, like my hair, if you do not like big hair, this is not the wig for you, okay, honey! Don'T even do it, and i also love that you get five headbands in total um. I think most companies kind of stick to three. As you can see here, i didn't even use any because it just didn't go on my top that i picked out for the day, but i think the scarf is cute. What y'all think i think the scarf is doing a little science thing. I think it's cute guys but yeah, so i really have nothing bad to say about the wig. You guys um just be prepared to. You know, do some detangling, of course, because it's curly hair and because the hair is very, very full um. So yeah i'm not really sure about the upkeep of this wig, but the curlier, the hair and the thicker, the wig, the more maintenance so just be prepared to be doing this hair every few days or so. I personally put a lot of mousse because i do not like to have to do my hair every single day. You know what i mean. It'S just not realistic um, but you know if you like, bigger hair, then this is obviously not going to be issue for you, because you don't have to do much it just is you get what i'm saying, but i personally like my curls to be defined and Because it's defined - and it's already this full - i can only imagine what it's going to look like. If you don't define the curls. The hair texture is amazing. The the hair pattern is amazing. It literally washed super easy. It was super quick and easy to do this. Wig, but you know i did like a full wash and then i put a whole lot of mousse, so i did have to wait. You know a while for it to dry, so it won't take that long on, like a maintenance day, i could just wet it and go you know what i mean if you don't really know how to lay your lace front, but you want, like you know you Still want the wig look, definitely go for headband, wigs, okay, that's number one, and if you like, big curly hair, definitely go for this as well. As you can see, it's big, it's curly, it's super natural looking and i love it, but yeah y'all. I freaking love. This hair definitely get it if you are a huge fan of curly hair. I just like keep staring at it in the camera because, like wow like it just it looks so good. I really like i said i have nothing bad to say. Definitely buy this wig okay by the way so anyways.
