Omg I Tried A Headband Wig! || Super Easy No Leave Out

Hey you guys it's brianna lynae, it's been a while life has been hectic, but i'm back with another video and today's video is going to be a little bit different because listen, i don't know if you're like me. I know you know the majority of my videos here on my youtube channel um are all dedicated to hair. Well, first, if you're a regular, you know if you're new, welcome uh. My youtube channel is a lot about deals. A lot about uh deals with hair. A lot my youtube channel deals with hair a lot. Why was that so hard to say? Listen! I have not recorded in a long time. I don't know if i have all my thoughts together. I don't know if i can still talk so bear with me. I'M not even going to edit it out we're just going we're just going to ride with it we're going to roll with it or don't want to say right. I i don't know what i'm trying to say: anyways anyways anyway, let's bring it back home. My youtube channel is dedicated um majority to my hair journey um. So i'm reaching the point in my hair journey, where my arms are tired. Okay, so your girl needs a break. I think i'm gon na do like a little shift on how to take care of your hair when it's in a protective style. Now a protective style trend - that's been going around for a minute which i am very interested in is the headband wig. It looks so simple, okay, so i jumped on the bandwagon and i ordered two headband wigs. So i just wanted to share that with you guys today, um, so let's go ahead and get into it. So, as you can see, my hair is in this dry bun and why is it in a dry bun, because i've been trying to record this video since november 22nd? Okay, today is december 14th. Is there something wrong with me? Yes, i am tired, so i've been walking around looking like i just got done playing outside, and i want that to change today, i'm taking back control of my life, it's my life and i want it now. I did just get a fresh trim. I don't have any product in my hair so before i apply anything on my head before you do a protective style. You want to make sure that your hair is whether you're about to do a wig headband. You want to make sure that your hair is nicely moisturized under that wig. You better do some faux locs moisturize hair is key. Doing some knotless uh braids major key. You want moisture, because if your hair is not moisturizing a protective style, then what are we protecting? Nothing, your hair will fall out, no, it won't fall out, but it will be dry and it's not really beneficial. I i purchased this. I purchased these wigs a long time ago. Um they had a sale. I bought two and i even bought uh one for my mama, so i just want to show you guys the kind of headband wig that i got and let me just say when i do a protective style majority of the time i feel like. I don't want to be too dramatic. Okay, i don't want to bring the drama. Is it me? Am i the drama? I don't want to always be the drama, so i started off with like baby steps. Okay, so once i get comfortable with wearing these uh headband wigs, i might bring the drama. Okay, i already kind of opened one, because i was curious, but then i said, let me stop because i felt like you guys would be curious with me. This is how it comes. It comes in this. It comes in this nice uh, my first wig box right at first i was a little nervous because your girl ordered two wigs and there was only one box. So i was like who got me who got me. I got my money back, but they got your girl good and they put both wigs inside okay. So i'm so excited about this. I'M i told you, i've been waiting a long time to use these and i've been dragging my feet now's the time i did not open this wig. So i'm just going to show you how it comes this. Is it comes in this nice little pouch up? It'S locked out, but it's protected. I think these are so cute. This is what the wig comes in like little hair net, which is cool okay. So so i definitely went for the principal look: okay, real, simple, real, safe. The principal looks so this is a yaki hair. This is 10 inches um and this is a natural hair color. I didn't go for jet black, because i guess it was gon na look too fake, but hopefully this don't look too fake either. I don't know we're gon na see uh, so i'm really excited about it. I love how it feels. Look. It move okay. So i really like this in addition to the wig whoops. They also provide you with a wig cap which is solid. Okay, you got a black wig cap and then well. This is the black wig cap and then on this side is like a tan one. So that's cool and i'm gon na put all of this information down below. So if you want to check out these wigs - or you know - maybe get something longer than i did - you want to be the drama, then i'm put that information down below. So you can find your own okay. This is the wig i'm going to be using today. So i definitely took this out immediately right and i like it, i love it. You can see there's a little bit of frizz ain't, no problem, ain't, no problem, i'm going to use some water and some mousse to help define these curls, but i kind of like it looking a little bit of a mess. Okay, i want to be too perfect. You can't be too real. Okay, this is 14 inches. I decided to go with 14 inches because i didn't want it to be too dramatic, like i said before, so i think this is a you know: a nice little introduction to the headband wig uh sisterhood. Now this is 14 inches. This is still a natural hair color. I'M really excited to uh. Put my wigs on. Try them out see what what the tea is about. Um, because this is gon na be a way of life for me um and i'm i'm still stroking the hair to see like. Does it shed or anything like that deandre, i'm recording, please don't walk by the room again, i'm just joking guys. You can even hear him, but my husband's home everyone say: hey deandre, hey deandre, they all said: hey, okay, but yeah, there's no shedding on. I mean there's no shedding with the wig. So that's a good sign. I'M not big on wigs, but i know if i'm walking around, i don't want hair to just be shedding and everywhere. So this seems like a good fit for moi and what i like about my first wig. These are quality wigs for beginners, okay, so, basically, when they created this company, they created it with me in mind: i'm a beginner and um, i'm still trying to get comfortable with wigs, there's nothing wrong with wigs. But with me, i just have like a little ptsd when i was younger. I begged my mom to let me get this little clip on a ponytail had it on. You couldn't tell me anything. I kept swinging it and i knew it wasn't secure, but you're gon na tell me anything right. So i have a nice little ponytail on uh. We went to go pick up my brother from uh a party for one of his classmates. I got out of the car was running across the street why my ponytail fall off so ever since then i just been like. I really need to make sure that it is attached and secured to my head. I'M excited to get started. I'M excited to see like how's it going to look on. I feel like i have not brushed my hair in a little bit and i'm ready to look alive again, so i've been walking around looking like i'm looking for spare change, and i want to look like. I have money to bake. Okay, first thing: i'm going to do is go ahead and cornrow my hair make sure it's moisturized and i will just show you that process it'll be real, quick. I used to always watch youtube videos and think why are they doing their hair with a with a sweatshirt on? I could never be so hot hello life comes at you fast when you don't mind your business, so uh. Let me know in the comments: can you cornrow is this? Your ministry? Is your black card revoked people always say? Oh, my black card is revoked. I don't know how to braid it's okay, it is okay. If you can braid, you can maybe two strand twists just make sure your hair is moisturized and uh you do it uh, you style your hair, a certain kind of way. So the wig won't look like a hat on your head. Okay, you want it to look flat and believable. My hair is nicely braided. It'S giving set it off it's giving clio, but that's fine! That'S fine, but i'm going to do with the hair. That'S hanging, i'm just going to probably take a bobby pin and just secure. My low ends away. I need a bobby pin on the set okay, so my hair is nicely pinned away. My edges are laid, it's also a good start. It'S giving. I know what i'm doing. Oh, it's giving fraud next thing, i'm gon na be doing is applying something to my scalp um. That'S my whole plan is keep my hair. Braided, like this um apply oil to my scalp, wear the wig for at least two weeks um and then i'm gon na wash my hair and repeat, and maybe wear the other one or i'm going to rotate between the two. So i'm going to be using these numerical drops extra strength, so i got them from target and they screw that thing on tight and you don't want to put anything right over your head as soon as you put the drops in because you want it to like. Really set in your hair, that's with oil period, so just let it sit for a minute before you put anything else on, while waiting, i'm probably gon na change uh, my sweatshirt, because i really try to commit to this but y'all bout to witness me passing out. It'S so hot in here i had nerve to have heat on sweatshirt on braiding, my hair. Like it's just a lot of things, i would not recommend doing that. I'M doing why would my husband think now is a good time to put up blinds when he knows. I just started: recording it's not a big deal. I decided to just use my spray bottle and some mousse that i had around, which is the aunt jackie's uh mousse, just to work in sections on my wig to help define the curls. So we've prepared the wig. Now it's time for the wig cap, now this this option's definitely up to you, i'm just going to try it on to see how it feels i definitely will take it off. If i feel like there's too much going on on my head, i feel like i should be like robbing the bank. This is stuck. Wig comes with a nice little strap in the back, so that is secure and then on the inside. It has coverage okay. So we have five clips all right. So let's throw this thing on yeah it's giving lord farquaad, but i will say this is not flying off anywhere i'll. Tell you that much okay! So oh, it's honestly really cute! I feel like i definitely could have gotten 12 inches, but i like how short it is. I like it's giving me a nice clean, fresh, look, okay, so it's definitely i love it. You just need a flat iron to like bump your ends, not the james brown bump, but like a nice low, bump. Okay, i like this a lot y'all see how neat this looks. I got a cap size of one. I think this is a good size. I'M curious to know what the next size is. I didn't think i have a big head, but it's debatable. We have this headband, so what we're going to do, throw it on over. I just look like i have my life put together. This feels so good. Let me adjust this just a little bit. I don't want my ears to give star trek, but i don't want the headband to be resting on option. Two is not bad. It brings the drama, a lot of drama for me, i'm having mixed reviews, but this is really cute. It'S really subtle for some a lot for most i'm just joking, but i really like how this looks like how it feels curls are defined after using the mousse um over time. I'M sure it'll get bigger, but yeah, i'm i'm loving it loving it. These are real cute now, let's spice it up, so of course you know i had to spice it up a little in the end, but i really love these wigs. They are perfect for, if you forget to do your hair, don't have enough time to do your hair, a nice little date. Night y'all. I am a fan of my first wigs heaven, wigs okay, so let me know which look.
