Hey y'all welcome back to my channel if you're new to my channel, my name is hermosa bell and, as you guys can see, i'm looking very much crazy. So, as you guys can see by the title of this video, i'm actually gon na be taking down my two month: old, braids, they're, more so like a month and three weeks. But we're just going to say two months for the purpose of this video. Because that's pretty much two months, so i'm actually going to be taking a break from the wigs. If you guys see my channel, i do tend to do wig reviews, but i need to take a break from these wigs because i've been neglecting my hair. So i really am trying to start a hair journey and i am going to be recording that for my channel. So if you guys want to see those other videos make sure to subscribe, but yeah so to get straight into this video. So this is the amount of new growth i've had. I will say that this is like um like an inch, an inch and a half, i'm not too sure, but let me show you guys a close-up of how it looks as you guys can see. I do have a lot of residue and glue residue at the front of my hair from wearing wigs, so i am going to be spraying just a little bit of water on my hair and i like to use warm water whenever you guys ever see me putting Water in my hair, it's always going to be warm water. So the reason i'm putting just a little bit of water on my hair is just so. The hair isn't so dry because when the hair is dry and you're taking off braids, it tends to break and snap, and we don't want none of that. So i'm gon na go ahead and just spray. The hair just with a little bit of water and i make sure to concentrate on the ends of my hair, because that is where you can cause the most damage when taking down your braids and then you guys can also put just a little bit of oil. Just so, you guys can have a little bit of more slip in your hair. I'M gon na be using just some regular olive oil and i'm actually gon na put a little bit of some more of that olive oil. In the front of my hair, where i have all of that glue from the wigs and yeah, so the process is actually very easy. Just because i put in a little bit of water and a little bit of oil so definitely put some water put some oil in your hair. As you guys take these braids down um, i guess i'll. Let you guys know: i've been natural for two years and eight nine months, so a little bit of the hair is shedding. If you have your hair in for some months, you guys are gon na have some shedding, because we naturally lose a certain amount of strands of hair every month. So naturally, you're gon na see that there is some hair that falls out as you take down your braids after a certain amount of time and as i get closer to the front of my hair, that's where i really take my time in detangling. Definitely you guys want to trim your hair after having your hair in braids for such a certain amount of time see so, as you guys can see, here's a little knot at the end, so you guys have to be very, very, very careful when you guys get These knots, usually when i get these knots, i just get a little bit of oil and i rub it into it, just to make it easier because you don't want to rip the hair. You guys want to avoid that at all cost. So i know sometimes you guys are gon na have to do it, but if you guys can avoid it avoid it, you guys see now it's just the knot by itself see now the knot is gone, no issues, and yes, you guys i'm completely breaking out on My chin, because i decided to wax it and that didn't turn out well, i promise you guys. This is not junk for my hair. This is basically all the gel that i've used in my hair at the front of my hair, because i've done a lot of headband, wigs and with headband wigs. I would just like slather the gel in the front of my hair, just to lay it and then i'll put the headband wig, like i said, just make sure to keep the front properly moisturized, as you guys take these down and the ends as well. Who would have thought i'd? Get you oh go, i would recommend you do bigger braids as opposed to smaller braids um. I usually don't do this many braids. I think this is the most amount of braids i've done to wear under a wig, and i really just did that, because i was aiming to have a really flat install when i was doing my wigs. However, i feel like my installs, didn't really look that different from when i do bigger braids and i feel like. Maybe that might be why my hair didn't grow as much. I don't know, but i feel like for the purpose of a protective hairstyle. I would definitely recommend that you do a that. You do bigger braids than smaller braids. Oh yeah, oh, is memories. Don'T you love me who would have thought i'd, get you? Oh uh, all right y'all, so i am finally done taking out all of my braids. I don't know how long it took all i know is it took too damn long, so this is all the shedding that i've had after taking the braids out. I feel like this is a decent amount for pretty much almost two months, just because when you have your hair in braids, your hair is not, it is shedding, but it's not falling out because you have it in braids and under wigs or whatnot. So this is all the hair um that i've shed it thus far. I already know it's going to be a lot more hair, as i start combing through it. So that's what i'm gon na do now, i'm just gon na not combing through it fingering through it. So i'm actually just gon na separate my hair and like four sections and i'm just gon na go through it with my fingers just so i can get all of the shedding. So it's like it's not all shedding when i shower, because so yeah. This is how the hair is looking thus far. It is so itchy y'all, so i'm definitely ready to wash this hair um, and this is my shirt so far. This is all the dandruff that i've had in my hair disgusting y'all. I'M probably gon na use a clarifying shampoo just because there's so much product in my hair, so you definitely definitely want to use a clarifying shampoo after using so much product, so yeah, that's what i'm just gon na do i'm just gon na. Oh, my god. I keep touching my hair y'all y'all are gon na get so annoyed, so i'm just gon na separate my hair into the four sections finger comb it a little bit. I'M definitely gon na use some more water, i'm probably not gon na put any more oil. In my hair, just because i am gon na do a pre-proof treatment but yeah this is just a close-up of the fro. It looks very much just parched, so let me start detangling this hair natural disasters. My baby has been alright me. I see every time i get a business. Oh is memories up. Who would have thought i'd? Get you all right y'all. So i am finally done just finger. Combing, all the hair. That'S been shedded and twisting my hair. So when i go ahead and apply my pre-poo treatment pre-poo, i cannot say that i wear a pre-proof tape treatment. Oh my god, when i apply my pre-poo treatment, it'll be easier. So this is all the hair that shed it so far, and i know it's so much more hair, that's going to shed, because i haven't probably probably comb or brushed the hair and yeah. So this is the hair um. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I hope this video was helpful if you guys are going to take out two months three month four month, one month, braids out of your hair um, but yeah make sure to tune in into my next video. My next video is probably definitely gon na, be my pre-poo treatment like i got all my stuff sitting here, ready um and i might film a wash day routine. I might feel my hair twisting. Basically, what i'm trying to say is make sure to subscribe to my channel, so you guys can catch my other videos and if this video was helpful, make sure to give this video a big thumbs up but yeah, as always, peace and prosperity to all of y'all And thank you for watching this video every time i look into
