Kinky Straight Wig Install Ft. Tinashe Hair | No Lace, No Glue | Flipover Method Headband Wig

Hey y'all welcome back to my channel and welcome. If you are new in today's video, i will be showing you all how to install this headband wig without having to wear the headband. So i'm going to start by cutting off the large thick headband part. You don't need that at all. In fact, it'll make it easier to hide the headband. So once you cut off this headband from the wig you'll see tracks, which is the way a normal wig, would look without this large black band sewn into it once that black band is cut off. This is what the wig looks like. It has combs on the inside that you can use to secure your wig that way, you do not have to use that velcro band that i just cut off under my wigs. I just do straight back cornrows, and i also do a perimeter braid around the perimeter of my head, so that i can use that to sew down my wig, and these two braids in the front are just my leave out that i will be using to blend My hair into the wig, as i mentioned earlier when i sew, i just take my needle and thread and go through the perimeter braid as well as the wig cap, in order to secure the wig to my head. Since there are combs in the wig, you do not have to sew it down. I just like to sew it down in order to make it a more long-term hairstyle. So now that i'm done sewing the wig down, i'm going to go ahead and take out my leave out after that. I just use my hot comb to press through it and blend it to the wig. Since this is a kinky haired wig, it is much easier to blend your natural hair to the wig. Do once i finish, laying my edges: i'm going to go in with a little bit of oil to lay any extra hairs that might be sticking up and then i'm going to go ahead and tie it down for a little while i actually went ahead and went To sleep, but you do not have to tie it down for that long. You can do your makeup or get dressed and then come back and finish the rest of it. Before i went to sleep, i passed through it very lightly with a flat iron just to flatten it a little bit before i go in and curl it tomorrow. I didn't show that part because it's boring, but now i'm going to show you all the process of me curling it. Now i'm going to start curling the hair. I will be using my flat iron to curl it. I find that that is a better result with kinky hair, so i'm using my oil sheen right now to smooth it down i'll, have everything linked below that i used and now i'm going in with my flat iron to go ahead and curl. It you'll see me pass through with the flat iron once and then go back to curl. My flat iron gets really hot, but i do not have it all the way up to the highest temperature because i like the little bit of kinkiness in it. So i don't want to straighten it all the way through, so i don't use my flat iron up to 400, so anything under 400 should be fine for the rest of the video i'll, just be showing you all how i curled it. I'M sorry that i'm so zoomed in i just wanted you all to be able to see what i was doing. But i realized the hair is so long that you can't see the bottom of it but, like i said for the rest of the video it'll.
