Tutorial | Medium Length Headband Wig Styles

Uh, so i'm starting with a regular wig cap, it doesn't have to be anything special anything fancy just something to keep your hair contained. Next, i'm going to grab my hairband wig, of course, and i'm just going to show you how to put it on show you that there are straps in the back. So you simply just pull it over the wig cap, um and just kind of line it up with your hairline, the way that the hair falls comfortably and then you adjust it for your comfort ability. Then you go ahead and take the velcro straps and put those right in the back, and it's just that simple couldn't get any easier than that. We'Re going to go ahead and take some edge control because you want those edges to look clean because you want it to look like your hair. I use the wax at first, but it didn't really work out too well for me. So here, you're going to see me grab my jam. Ledge jam is what they call it. I prefer this because it gives me a nice shine for those baby hairs and it lasts pretty long, it's pretty thick. So it's really good for humidity. Then, of course, i'm going to do the other side so for this first style you're going to take your brushes any kind of brush works, but this one is just a simple non-parted side, part where the hair falls to one side. You can pick either side, but it's a quick and easy hairstyle for if you just need to run to the store, just grab it and go it's. It'S very grab and go something simple, but it's still cute and it can be styled very well or you can kind of just wear it. The second style is um very similar to this one. However, you're gon na take another track from anywhere clip in works as well. You'Re gon na go ahead and pull the hair band wig in the headband back put the track on there, and now you have a bang. So now it's a complete style. You can style this bang in any way that you'd like, but i kind of prefer to have it almost like a side part, because it looks like it's coming from the headband. It doesn't look unnatural, it's very quick, a simple addition, but it makes a a huge difference so for the next style, i'm gon na do something very similar and take that bang piece and tuck it behind my ear for a tucked behind the ear, look see how Simple, that is, however, you can do so many different things with these wigs they're so versatile as you're going to see me adjusting it to make it look more natural. The next style requires a clip in as well, but i'm readjusting it to have it in the middle so that we can do a different style, but it's the same process as the previous hairstyle. However, for this one we're going to do a split bang where you'll have two pieces in the front. I didn't really measure it too much, but you can go ahead and measure it if you want a very, even look, but i just went for something quick and easy to um, throw on and go, and then you see me adjusting the headband, of course, to make It look more natural so for this next hairstyle you're going to actually pull some of the hair on the top up in order to do a a half up and half down style, usually with headband wigs. They make them thick enough to where you can hide the tracks with the ponytail, so you really shouldn't you really shouldn't have to worry too much about that, but be very mindful of how much hair you are pulling up. If that matters a lot to you and then of course, you can also do this style without the bangs. I just left the bangs in so that you can see how versatile it can get and how many different ways you can style it and you can leave it wild if you want, if not you don't have to so for this next style, i'm just showing it Without the bangs, how it would look if you just styled the wig or threw it on and then styled it it pretty much looks the same, but without the bangs it gives you a more natural look. So now you can see the edges and the baby hairs and it just looks very natural, it's very nice, so for this next style um, it's very, very similar to the last two you're, just taking that ponytail and putting it in a bun. It'S a great way for if you want a half up, half down hairstyle without it being in your face, where you're gon na take that same area of hair that you just took from the last style and you're gon na go ahead and put half of it. In one ponytail facing one side and then you're gon na put the other half in a ponytail in a very similar fashion on the other side, foreign and then, of course, you can always curl the hair. I just left it in this state because i, like a more voluptuous look to the hair. I like it to have a lot of volume. I like it to be very big and curly, so it doesn't look flat because my natural hair is very similar to that and it's a lot of volume and it's very thick and then for this style. You'Re going to take this wig and put it in a bun or in a ponytail, whichever you prefer, but i'm just showing the quickest way to do it, and you don't really have to worry about the back of your head. Because, again, you have the wig cap on keeping that hair up, as well as the back of the headband hiding the back of that wig cap. But again you introduce the bang and it's just a cute, quick ponytail. Then you can also, of course, wrap it in a bun and it's a very, very quick and convenient style for this next one, you guessed it you're gon na throw a headband on, and with this one you can throw on any sort of headband that you, like Any color any style any pattern, it's very versatile and then i threw the bang in for an extra pizzazz, which you can obviously wear without the bang. I think it just makes it look more natural with the bang and that's all for the video i'll see you guys in the next one.
