New Beginner Friendly Curly Headband Wig | No Lace, No Glue | Wiggins Hair | Kellylabelle

Hi guys welcome back to my channel so today, i'm here to share with you this little headband wig that i recently picked up and i'm super super in love with this is from wigan's hair. The length is 14 inches and the texture is curly and don't worry i'll, have it linked down below. So the hair came in this box that you're seeing right now and inside the box. You of course had the wig. It came with an elastic band which i won't be needing. It also came with one headband, a wig cap um. I really love having extras of these, so i'm grateful for that uh edge, wrap and then the bag to store it in overnight. This is a close-up of the headband that i receive, and this is just the hair in the plastic bag. As i mentioned, it is 14 inches and the hair is, of course, in one of those lunch lady hair nets. So i'm going to go ahead and remove that, and my first thing that i usually do when i receive the hair is run my fingers through it just to see how much setting i get initially - and i really didn't get that much setting as you guys can See on the screen - and this is just the headband that's attached to the wig and inside the wig - there are five snappy clips, but i really do not like these clips so after wearing it for about a week with the original clips, i decided i was gon Na switch it out for these spring wig clips, which i got from my local beauty supply for 399.. I'M, of course, going to be using a needle and thread for this, and this is just a close-up of what those wig lips look like on the inside, and i went ahead using a razor and just cut off all the thread just to get those out like So and then i basically just sewed it on to the um wig cap and yeah, it's pretty straight forward. You guys can just look at what i'm doing. I'M sewing through the little net, that's on the top of the clip and make sure if you're buying these clips, you get the one with the net. I believe it says: lace covered because it's really um when it doesn't have the lace on there. It scratches the sides of your head and that's super duper uncomfortable so yeah, i'm gon na be sewing about six of these on there two at the front of the wig two at the back and one on each side, and once that's done. I just do two knots at the end and then i go ahead and grab my scissors and i cut off the extra thread, and this is just what the inside of the wig cap looks like. I have six um combs in total and it's like i mentioned two at the front two at the back and one on each side. So i'm going to go ahead and show you guys how i put the wig on my hair is in some terrible terrible. Two braids: this is the thing: if you get a headband wig, it's gon na make you lazy. I have not done anything to my hair in like two weeks time. Okay, i am enjoying this um, so i'm gon na go ahead and pull out some of my edges just so i can scoop them and make them look really really nice, i'm gon na be using some even edge control. It'S the one with the purple top, and you don't have to do this. You can, of course, just bring the headband um wig all the way forward to cover all of your hair and it'll. Look just fine, but you also have the option of leaving your edges out just you know, to give it a little razzle dazzle if you must and i'm gon na go ahead and throw the wig on i'm just gon na be putting all the clips in and Making sure it's secure, listen after you put all of those clips in your wig is not going anywhere. Okay, nowhere at all, and then i usually put the hair up just so. I can easily secure the strap, and this is how it looks. Okay, now these curls are about two to three days old and they actually do look fine. I would definitely go out with it like this. However, i do want to show you guys how i go about defining and refreshing the curls, so i just split it. In half and i spray it with water and guys you need to drench this like it needs to be damp, not like super dripping, but it needs to be damp and you'll know it's um dampen enough. When you go in to detangle it. If it's giving you a lot of resistance, then that means you did not spray enough water, because this hair is so easy to manipulate that with just water. You should be able to easily detangle it. So i'm just gon na do that and then i'm gon na take my detangling brush and i'm gon na run it through and just get it all detangled and remove any tangles. That'S been gathering up for the past three days and once that's done, i'm going to take my aunt jackie's grape seed fist control setting most you can use whatever product you want. I'Ve used a leave-in in the past and now i'm using a mousse just whatever you can get something lightweight to define the curls. I wouldn't suggest gel because it will be really heavy and weighed down and once i add that in i just scrunch it in just to make the curls pop extra and i went ahead, and i did the other side off camera for you. And this is just what it's looking like and usually i like to let this air dry. However, i did want you guys to see uh the final look, so i went ahead and i grabbed my diffuser. If you do not own a diffuser, you just simply don't want to diffuse. Just do everything that i'm doing the night before and in the morning you can wake up and throw your wig on it'll be dry and ready to lift, and this is what the hair looks like once it's about 90 percent dry. I didn't finish drying it, but really it won't get that much bigger, but as the days go by, you will notice it just you know getting more voluminous, just as with your natural hair, and now i'm going to show you guys some of my favorite headbands. I will have the link below to the headband and i usually put my hair up so that it's easy to pass this over my head and get the headband on and yeah for the rest of the video.
