My First Curly Headband Wig Beginner Friendly! @Curlymehair

Hey everybody welcome back to my channel, so we're going to get straight into the video i'm going to start by using a heat protector on my hair. That is a must, especially if you're a natural i like to have my hair looking as sleek as possible. You can definitely skip this if you don't care about it. Blending as much another way to skip this step is by applying the headband closer to your hairline, which is what i later realized and you're gon na see what i mean as we get deeper into the video still looks good. The way i did it, but i like the way it looks the second time i tried it. Oh, that was a workout, but we got it done. So this is the box that everything came in, but i accidentally forgot to hit the record button. Sorry about that - and this is everything that came inside of that box - shout out to the lashes y'all, the lashes everything so the hair did have a weird smell at first, but over time it did air out. So it's not that big of a deal so so, as you can see, it came with a lot of different headbands, including one i'm going to show you that i did not get from them and once again stay tuned to see how i readjusted the wig foreign. So i just wanted to come on here personally and show you guys my hair and what i meant when i was speaking in the voiceover and also tell you some things that i noticed and i do want to say i have not gone outside with this hair. I have not applied any product to this hair or any water or anything at all. This is still straight out the box. If you want, you can obviously add conditioner to your hair, water and any sort of product that you like in the hair me personally, i'm not ready to add anything. I am starting to notice like a little bit of shedding, but i think it's honestly just dead hair, because i really didn't run my hair, my hands through it. You can cut the ends which i will do off camera, so the headband wig right so in the video you guys saw me slick my edges and all that stuff. Like i said this is two days later, so i did redo my hair. As you can see, i have a wig cap underneath and it looks way more sleek and and slick, and i'm gon na show you guys what i use to get this, because i really like the way this came out and i think, are my elbows ashy. My elbows are definitely ashy. I need to get something else for my skin, because every five seconds it's dry, i don't understand, you know how i showed you guys. I used the she's bomb edge control. I had this for a while. Actually, since i have another product from her line, i was like i've never tried these two together, and this is the second one i'm talking about. This is the she's bomb glaze. I got this. I got these a long time ago and i got these in harlem. So if you're from new york, you could definitely go to 125.. You know how products always work better when they come from the same line. So i was like you know what i'm going to try both of these together, because what i did was not working with the the olive oil gel and the sheets bomb edge controls. It definitely did help. So if you guys want to try this out, you can but i'm showing you right now, i'm talking with that! That'S how you guys can see i'm going to give a little closer look how it looks about like that. So you see how i put the headband wig in the video. I put it more back here. I know you guys saw that. I think i put it back because i don't even have a good angle of the wig anything like that and i feel like i was kind of rushing it. So i tried it again today and i do have two braids in the back of my head. Braided down they're, like cornrows, two kind of big braids straight in the front of my hair cause. I don't wan na blow out all my hair, so i sectioned out of a portion, so i section out a portion of my hair in the front so that i can get that sleek. Look back of my hair is natural right now, because i did wash my hair before i put this wig on that's another thing that i do advise if you wanted your hair to blend more with this, obviously you can use whatever works for your hair. I honestly kind of forgot that the eco styler gel was going to revert my hair because the eco style that gel really only works good when my hair is wet, might even lie. It works better when my hair is wet. I was just like i'm not gon na do that, so you guys saw that they gave us two wig caps to go with this wig right, but the thing about this wig pay attention to this part. Like i said it's beige right. If you have a black wig cap, it's gon na be better. I'M gon na show you. Why do you see that right there? I don't know if you guys can see it. I don't know if you guys can see, but my wig cap is showing, and that is because the wig does not go all the way around. My hair doesn't go all the way around. I just want to come on here and correct myself, real quick. What i meant was the hair isn't sewn onto the headband when you get towards the back. I don't really know why they decided to not attach it to that. I saw another video where i had ben wig didn't have this problem, but it's really not that big of a deal depending on how you wear your hair and you can probably find a way to make it work. There is hair in the back. It'S just not attached to the headband, it kind of stops hair, it's really just headband. It goes behind my ear and then it'll just be headband like the rest of the advent and, honestly, that's not a problem for me, because the density of this hair is wild and i don't think you need to have mice. I don't know if you need to have my specific amount of density for your wig caps and i'll be showing if you're, using a beige one. I don't know if the density of your hair matters as far as why you can't see my wig caps through my hair. This hair does get bigger over time, so maybe it really doesn't matter. Unfortunately, i don't have a black wig capsules that we don't work with. So i'm grateful for that. Another thing that i do want to point out is whatever they use for this for the headband it's way too big y'all. So this is just a heads up and i have a huge head. I honestly think i have one of the biggest size in the world, so um. If you have a big head, this is not a problem and i actually have a measuring tape and i measure i measure the circumference of my head. I'M not going to put it out there because nobody's business. If you have a big head, don't worry about it, because you can see how i got this all the way to the front i'm going to get to the part that i mentioned earlier about me. Putting my headband all the way back here so um, basically what i did for the headband to work was i tied it once as if i was tying the shoe and then i stuck it together, little velcros that come together to make everything stick. You know i put those together to seal it off and then i tucked it into my wig cap so that helped for now. Obviously i feel like, if you're going to be doing more moving around. If you feel like somebody, might snatch up your wig, you might want to use the combs that come in there. It comes with four cones, but since i'm not really going anywhere wearing quarantine wearing a panoramic, i don't really feel the need to do that and honestly, i feel like combs are so painful. I don't like it that's something to keep in mind. Oh yeah yeah. So, as you guys can see like i said, i have a big head, so i was really afraid it wasn't going to work out for me as far as like the headband coming all the way towards my edges and actually did work out so um. I do like the way it looks this way. I could push it more back if i wanted to, but i feel like i like this way better. I do want to say this as well in case there's any confusion, there's a bunch of options of how you want your way, color the density and all that good stuff length and there's also the options for the headbands. So they have an option where it's like you can get the headband this little sparkly popular one or the regular headband. You can get either these this one or you can get both and i chose to get both. I just was like. I don't really think there's any of these in my area where i live, so i'm just gon na get it. You know, go hard to go home and i had a coupon code. So you know i was like coupon somebody ring my bell. I think it was um a delivery man, but he could leave it outside for now, because i honestly am in my zone right now so you're gon na definitely wan na um, pull back you're gon na want to pull back your wig cap and um the headband, Because you can see it and that's not the look i'm going for if i were to wear this outside but um. Basically, if you were to wear this outside, you would want to fix this. You would want to fix it so that it looks good okay. It definitely fit better when it at the back of my head, but um so just for demonstration purposes. I'Ll show you guys this was the headband that it came with. I think this is like really cute and i do want to try this other headband on okay. I like this, this is so cute right. Actually, i'm just leave it alone. I'M gon na leave her alone. One last thing before i forget, if you guys see these lashes, i'm wearing these are the lashes that came with the wig. I think that is so amazing that they gave me little gifts to come along with this, because low-key 100 is a shiny penny, so we spend it on hair and y'all already know me. I don't even go to the hairstyle anymore. I don't even get my hair braided by any stylist anymore, like i don't go to get my hair braided professionally more because it's way too expensive. That'S something that i'm really grateful for that. I got the chance to learn how to do my hair and learn more about my hair. I'M still learning more about my hair. This is something new. That is what i want, because that is what i love. I love big hair. My natural hair is big as hell, but i just hate dealing with it. I'M really excited to see how i'm gon na deal with this hair. Maybe in the future i can buy more hair, but i don't know a lot about hair right now. I'M still trying to learn more about braiding and i'm talking too much y'all, i'm talking too much.
