$35 Curly 8" Headband Wig From Amazon | Ft. Legendhair | First Impressions Review

Hello, lovely people, it's christina and welcome, or welcome back to my channel so first off, let me say for all of my new subscribers welcome to my channel. Thank you so much for subscribing to my channel. I really appreciate it from the bottom of my heart. Next, i know i have been in mia for about seven or eight months, but now i am coming back and i wanted to start off with a brand new video for you. All this video is updated. Today is saturday november 27th and it is 5 11 in the p.m. If you guys can see that probably not but anyways. This is my first updated video and i am also, as you can see. My background is different. That'S because we moved so. I am now doing my video in the bathroom okay, so enough with the talking. Let'S just go ahead and jump right on into the video, so you already know about the title what this video is about. I am actually trying a headband wig for the very first time you guys very first time. I am not a weak person. I do not like wigs. I'Ve tried a wig once which was like over 10 years ago. It was a synthetic wig and it got messed up, got tangled up frizzy all that stuff. So from that point on, i've never bought another wig and i never care for them. I don't have time for the lace and the glueing down and the plucking and the bleach and the knots and all of that stuff. So when they came out with these headband wigs, i was like very interested, but i still was like no i'm still not wearing a wig. I don't care for wigs, but i'm starting to become a lazy natural, a little bit so yeah. I want to try one now, so i did purchase one from amazon and this is my package that i got again. Of course, i did already open it up, because you know i have to inspect my stuff and make sure that what i ordered is in here. But this is the package that it comes in this little pink bag and this hair is from legend hair, and this is a curly bob pixie cut and it is eight inches, and this is human hair. This is the human hair where i did not get synthetic. This time i got human hair all right, so this is the bag that it comes in and then the wig comes in this little pouch right here, which is, i thought, was so cute because when i'm not wearing it, then i have something that i can put My wig in to keep it safe and keep it protected and preserve it. So this is what the wig looks like now when i brought this wig when i went on there to look for one i was like. I want to get one that short that closely resembles my own hair, because at my job i do a lot of moving around, so i did not want something that was extremely long where the hair was going to get on my nerves. So i decided to look for something that was closer to my own natural curls, like when i do a twist out - and i found this one - and this is what it looks like. I thought it was going to be black a little bit darker than this. But it's like a brownish color. I don't know if you guys can see it. If i hold it up to the light, if you can tell it's like a brownish, but my natural hair color is a dark brown, but you guys can't tell on camera my hair. My hair looks black on camera, but my hair is not black. My hair is actually a very dark brown, so i figured this would be fine um, it's close enough, so it says once you take it out the package you're supposed to shake it and loosen up the curls. So that's what i'm going to do. I'M going to give it a shake loosen it up. I don't know if i am supposed to co-wash this thing or what i know from videos that i've seen of people wearing wigs, that's what they do. They go and co-wash it and all of that stuff. But i haven't seen anybody doing that with a headband wig, so i'm not going to do it either. I have to do more research and find out, and then, if that's what i need to do, then i can always go back and do that later it is shedding. As i am shaking it, you guys can see that hair, it's not much, but it is shedding a little bit so that lets me know that i can't handle this too much, because if i handle it too much or be a little too rough with it, then The hair is going to be um shedding, so let's see it has a comb in the front. It has two combs one on each side right there and then it also has the band adjustable band for me to adjust it. How tight? I need it. So that's a plus that it comes with combs. That gives me that extra security, because one fear of how i have always had about if i ever decided to wear wigs, was not wanting my wig to blow off. You know what i'm saying so that just gives me the extra security. I don't have to worry about that. Okay, so it also came with a wig cap right here and then it also came with this little headband right here, all right. So all i'm going to do is take this off now i am coming out of a protective style and i have my body on still because, if you've been following me for a while, you know anytime, i wear my hair scarf. I always keep my satin bonnet on just to give my hair the extra protection from the um cotton on the head scarf. So it is wash day i am going to be washing my hair. I have not washed it yet because i wanted to try this on. First, because if i like this wig and i decide to keep it, then once i wash my hair, i'm just going to twist my hair down so that the wig will lay flat on my head and it won't be bulky up underneath here, because all i have My hair in right now is um four parts and then i got i just braided them up. It'S dirty, don't judge me um, but yeah. I got the four parts and then i just took the braids plaited them up and then i just pulled them all to the back. So if i wore the wig now it's going to be bulky, and i don't want that so yeah. I wanted to try it on first that way after i wash my hair conditioning and all of that good stuff, then i can just flat twist my hair down, because i can't cornrow so i flat twist my hair down, so it will lay flat on my head. All right, so i'm just going to put this on to the best of my ability. Do not judge me. I am new at wigs. So please, if i'm struggling, just pray for me. Okay, so we finally got it open all right, so i'm just going to shake it a little bit as you can see, it's not stiff, it has movement to it and it puts me in the mind of my own hair so much whenever i do a twist Out and it gets old, um yeah, it's very soft, very very soft uh - the wig is very lightweight. It is not heavy on my head at all, which is a plus, because i can't stand for stuff to be heavy on my head um. As i run my hands through it, i am getting a little bit a few pieces of hair shedding not much uh yeah. I actually like this. I think the curls suit me very much. I love the lips. Probably i have to try to style it a little bit to make it look more like the way i wear. My hair probably pick it and fluff it to give it some volume, because it is kind of flat right now so yeah give it some volume love the way. It feels super duper soft. As you can see, my hands run right through it. There are no tangles. I like this, you guys i like this a lot. I think i have found my new protective style now all right. Yes, i like this. Oh my gosh. I should have tried to hit them wigs a long time ago. Whenever i ordered this wig, i did order some more headbands. I got these right here, they're just plain headbands that come in different colors and then i ordered these right here that just have different prints on them. So i'm going to try this headband on right. Here. All right, so this headband is definitely wider than the other one and it actually covers up the full band, so that band is not showing period so love that love how this feels on my head, like i said it's so light, that's what i like most about It is super duper light feels like i have nothing on my head, so that is definitely a plus, so yeah all right. So i like it, it gets thumbs up two thumbs up in my book. I love this love this, so so so so much so what i am going to do, i'm going to keep it, i'm not going to return it, i'm going to keep it and what i'm going to do is go ahead and do my wash day and then Flat twist my hair down to my hand, and then i will come back with the wig on and have it styled more and look a little bit more decent. So you can all get the full effects of this wig and uh yeah. So once i get done with that, then i will be back and show you my final results. Okay, you all. So i am back, and this is the final look and it is the next day i did not get a chance to come back last night because once i finished my wash day, it was late and all i wanted to do was twist my hair up and Go to bed, but these are my final results so, like i said, all i did was just put my hair in flat twist going straight back because i can't cornrow good, so i just did flat twists going straight back after that. I put the little wig cap on. I don't know what the purpose of the wig cap is for, because i don't wear wigs. All i know is i put that bad boy on, because that's what i see a lot of people doing in their wig videos is wearing a wig cap, so i went on and put it on as well um after i got that on. All i did was laid my edges right, quick, you guys know i'm still working on my edge technique, but i just laid my edges right, quick, put my little purple edge thing on to lay my edges and then i just put the wig on and then from That point on, i just tried to style it to the best of my ability i kept playing around with parts because i had the middle part. Then i went to the side, but then i just came back to the middle part, because i like this look the best but um yeah. I took my pick tried to pick it out a little bit to give it a little bit of volume um, because the hair is so soft. It'S not really giving me that volume that i want, but i didn't want to keep picking with it because of the fact it is shedding a little bit and also because i didn't want to pick out the little definition that it does have. I did go back on amazon and i'll make sure i put the link of this wig down in the description box below if you're interested in it. But i did go back on amazon and i scrolled to the very bottom, where um it tells you about the wig and i was supposed to pre-prep the wig before i wore it. So i was supposed to wash it and condition it. But i didn't read all that, so i just read it this morning and i was like well, oh well, it's too late now, but i will go back and i will do that. I will wash it and condition the wig and let it air dry and stuff, but it says that you can style the wig. If you want to bleach it. If you want to color it, i can put gel on it, define the curls more so yeah. I can do a pretty good bit with it and um that's good to know, because you know once the definition starts falling, then i can just go back in and put some gel on my fingers and just kind of do like free recoils to make some of The curls pop so yeah, i really really like this wig. That'S all i have. I love this. This is going to be my new protective style. I just came out of those braids. I had those braids in for almost two months, so i didn't want to come on the braids and then go straight into doing wash and gos and flat twists and twist outs. I just kind of want to just get my hair break for a while and just leave it alone, which is why i purchased this wig and i'm so glad that i like it, because i will be buying some more. I thank you so much because i have been wanting to try them for a while, but i was a little nervous, but i'm so glad i kept watching those videos and i went on and decided to try it because this is one of the best decisions.
