Let me tell you hasn't it though um i, i am horrible horrible horrible at actually putting up videos, and i'm sorry for that, and i'm going to put on a little bit of this lip, because i feel like it's going to look really good with this wig. That i'm going to show you - and this is my saint palette - if anybody's interested in saint saint beauty, i might do a video on that uh. I don't know if any of you know what st beauty is, but oh my gosh, i cannot wait to show you guys this wig and i'm sorry. I keep looking over there. I don't know why. I don't know why i do that so um we're gon na. Do a wig review: well, i'm not gon na call this a wig review. I'M gon na call it an out of the box preview. Let'S call it that um! Let me get a wig grip. I'Ve been using these wig grips, although i need to get a new wig grip cap. They are my absolute favorite, but this is just a regular wig grip. I like this one, because it's thin back here. I think i got this on amazon. If i can find this on amazon - and it's still there i'll link it in the box below also check my description box, i'm trying to put like more information down there for you guys. So without further ado, i i can't even tell you how how badly? I can't wait to show you this so first off this wig is not a new wig, but it's a new color. This is maya by envy in platinum, shadow is the name of the color um. I was worried. I was worried when i ordered this wig. Now i got this wig from the beauty nook with my own money. Um. If you don't know about the beauty, nook um, they do live, you definitely want to download the app they have an app on android, um and also on iphone. So you want to download their app. They do. Uh live shows every friday. So you get to see wigs on people, which is great so so very helpful to see it on someone. They also have coupon codes you can use. I'Ve had a lot of like feedback from people about what info to give during a wig review, and i'm really trying guys, i'm really trying so bear with me, bear with me. Okay, i i think part of it is just that i am just. I feel like one, the guy, you know i feel like i'm just one of you, i'm not i'm not an influencer, i'm not a beauty guru, i'm. I just want to show you wigs and show you how they fit and show you what they look like in the color and i'm not here to like make money or any of those things like no one's giving me stuff to show you. This is just my all. Everything you see is my own personal opinion and believe me, if i had a bad opinion, i would tell you i promise you so this is my first maya ever um. Now i got this on a live sale from beauty nook. I got it at a good price. I was worried about this shade, i'm going to tell you because i do love my cool tones and this is a cool toned wig, so shaded platinum is definitely a cool tone, but i don't like silver sun rooted like once. I get into like silver sun rooted, i'm like don't look right on me, okay, so let me get rid of this. I just had my hair kind of up um and i want to put my hair back in a. I probably should have brought a comb over here. I always forget things like i'm so excited about things and then let me let me grab this. I actually got this on off or from a dollar tree, i'm not even kidding. You can find wide tooth combs on dollar tree or at dollar tree. I should say i'm gon na pull my hair just like, and i like. I don't like to use a ponytail, because i always get that like bump back there, so i'm just gon na pull my hair and kind of swoop it up around like into a really super flat bun, and that's how i like to put my hair up and Then i just kind of take some bobby pins and i will stick the bobby pins in there now. Normally, i would glue down the front of my wig. I have been doing that a lot and i and the reason why i do that is because i have a really like the head of the back of my head is like really flat and wings tend to ride up so i've just been. I don't know why. It just makes me feel more secure whenever i glue down my wig, so i won't do that today, though, because you know this - i don't want to. I don't know if i'm going to be wearing this later or not so. Here'S the wig grip, um, this red tab, means that it goes on this side that this tells you which side of your head to put it on this seam. That'S right here will go towards the back of your head. If you wear this the wrong way, your wig will slip around when i first started wearing wigs, i wore my wig grip the wrong way and i was like why is everybody like so why does everybody think that these wig grips are so wonderful? They keep sliding off. I had it on the wrong direction. That'S why i headed on the wrong direction, so make sure you're putting your wig grip on in the right direction. It helps it helps a lot and you'll know it's in the right direction, because if you feel, if you do this with it it you can feel the texture. However, when i post, when i pull my hands this way, it feels very soft, but this way i can feel the texture on it and also the seam will be towards the back and then this red, the red part kind of will tell you too. So i'm trying to figure out my lighting in here too. This is actual natural light, i'm sitting in front of a window um, because i want you guys to you know, get get like a. How do i want to say like a actual picture of what it would look like like outside and it seems dark in the back, but it's super dark here today. So it's like was snowing earlier, so i'm hoping that the color comes across okay. So let's take a look at her, so i will tell you a few things about maya. As i show you - and this is comes in a box just like this. It'Ll have a hair night, a hair net over it and here's her box, and here is the tag maya in a platinum shadow, there's actually a care card in here too, which i thought was interesting. Um there's actually care instructions store your wig on a wig stand. Um rotate them. If you wear more than look at that color, oh, my gosh guys look at it, so they envy does have weight care products. They say to use those shampoo it as needed um. I only shampoo my wigs, maybe every couple weeks, and that is like - maybe maybe maybe, okay like not even okay. So here's first look platinum shadow. This color is gorgeous. I think it's gorgeous. It is a platinum for sure. It'S got a root and this is coming off a lot redder in this light. It'S it's not this red. This is showing up kind of red to me. It'S it. It doesn't look like that in person there see how it's like shadowy, but not red, like kind of like right through here. That'S what it looks like um. I love this color um. I hope it's coming across. It'S not extremely silvery. It'S definitely cool toned for sure. It'S very kind of beigey, okay right there to me, looks exactly what it looks like if i bring it up closer. It almost goes too silver. If i back it away. That is what it looks like, and these are such nice cascading waves very loose waves. Now maya has a lace front and a full mono top, so you can part her to the left to the right to the middle anywhere and there's the inside of the cap. It'S got felt adjusters at the ears and then she has pull adjusters here. It'S just a beautiful creamy blonde um, it's not too silver! If, if you like palm springs blonde you're gon na like this color, i think it doesn't have the dark beigey darker beigey, that palm springs has. I wish i had a palm springs wig right beside me. I would show you, but it's just a beautiful beigey cool blonde and it almost seems like there's it. The underneath is a little bit of a different shade, it's kind of a darker beige blonde, but not not that you would notice it even it's just so. It'S just i don't know it's it's honestly. I think. Maybe this is literally my new favorite shade, i'm not even kidding so um. They say that this is an average cap size now, just for reference. I am going to tell you that my i measured my head last night. I have a 21 inch circumference ear to ear, i'm 11 and a half, and my hairline to my chin is eight inches. I will try and leave those below in the description too. If that helps so they describe this as a light blonde cool toned with dark roots, i i feel like it needs much more description than that. I would call it a light. Beige blonde there's a little bit of just a little bit of barely a darker, barely barely darker beige that runs through it, and it's almost like the underside see what see right here like it's almost like, there's like another color under there, it's so pretty! I i can't even i can't even so pretty so the front of this is 13. Actually, why don't we put it on? Let'S just put it on. Let'S just see what this looks like. Okay, i'm so excited, i'm so excited okay! Now i am a left side. Parter, so i think i think that's it actually is on the left. You guys, you guys, look at it now. I got some hairs going all kinds of ways here, so i need to figure that out. It'S got like a little couple stray hairs going on. Let me get my comb out. Oh my god! Oh my gosh, you guys. Let me pull this one hair out. It'S like you know what this this kind of reminds me of sarah or rachel y'all y'all. Oh, it's! So pretty! I love this. I'M sorry i'm so excited, i'm so excited so it's 13. Now let me just tell you, i know i said i'm 21 inches. Let me this. I don't know if you're like super, i mean it does stretch, but i would say this cap is fitting me pretty perfectly. So if you have like a larger head, i honestly don't know if this will be a good fit like. I said there is some stretch here, but i would almost be scared just to tell you if you have like a 23 inch head. I'M sorry, the sun just came out. If you have like a 23, if you're a 22 and a half, you know if you're like a 23, i'm like um, i don't know, because i have a 21 inch head and i feel like if this is as perfect as a cap is going to fit Me um, you know, but it's just beautiful, so it's 13.25 inches in the front. The crown is seven and a half. The sides are seven. The nape of is 75.7. It weighs 5.1 ounces um the hairline's very nice. There'S a you know. I feel like this hair. Doesn'T know what it wants to do, let's put it over that way. Yeah it needs a little bit of like. I, i like to rub my hands together and kind of hold the hair where i want it that helps so. Let'S look want to take a 360 view, so here she is from the front really pretty here's the side, my right side, here's the back and i'll swing around to this side. I love this. I'M probably going to wear this out so much. I would probably go in and pluck a little bit more along this hairline um, maybe - and i would probably pluck this part and open it up a little bit more um. If you guys want to see a video on that, maybe i'll just do a video on on that large head friendly, i would say no, i'm gon na say no, because i feel like it's just fitting me perfect like if this was any tighter. That'S why i'm afraid, if you have like a 23 inch head, i would say no um. It is not heat defined either. So this is not a heat defiant piece, but really beautiful, guys, really beautiful um. So i i i really like it. The fibers feel a little bit on the dry side, but not not terrible, not terrible, and i love the waves. I love the waves on it. It'S it's really just beautiful. It'S a really beautiful piece, um yeah! I i would say, though, that i would probably pluck along here - and i would probably open up this part more, but just this color is just amazing, like i really hope it's coming across it to me. If i'm looking in the viewfinder, it's coming across a little silver and um to me, looking in the mirror, it's more creamy than silver, maybe if i that's probably, if i back away from the light it's more accurate, i think i feel like once i get up Into here it that's pretty accurate right there, i've shut off my lights and you're only getting natural light now. So it's just a really creamy color. I really love it. I think it's amazing, so i will list some specs down below alice beauty.
