Uh, your kids are your mama to know. Oh that didn't say we go ahead and huh oh, it may not be. It may just happen to work for android, possibly, and you have an android, so there might be wise, you go, then your kids left it. They probably did you know you didn't you know that station. You think it says right over there. You think that's the station when you ain't here but clean up y'all seen that story about that dude that was murdered by that girl, the other one in miami i mean i didn't click on the link, so i i stole it. She was like a ig modeler. Only fan did white girl kid. Did that wait? What was this? Did? White girl kill black man earlier this week and um he he was dragging black women fulfilled so, but he was only 16.. What did that mean? It doesn't mean, but at that age we all say and do a lot of dumb stuff. But let that be a lesson, learn that the stuff that you post online it does follow you and, unfortunately, he has now been murdered and these old tweets are coming up and people are looking at him crazy because the stuff he said at 16 17. well. This is the thing he may have said it at 16 and 17, but he stood by it, which is why he died at the hands of a white woman, yeah. So you're right, even though it was so long ago. He stood by his words and he lives by those words, and he also died by those words yeah, i'm just kind of like kept my i look at the comments and then i just keep it moving, because i don't really have too much. I know like we're supposed to feel bad about somebody dying, but people die every day. You better make sure you die. Humble you better make sure you die with some positive words on that breath because, i'll be honest, you say yo like black women. You get murdered by a white woman, that's comedy to me: it's like a satire movie. It is it's like it's very ironic. Did you see it later this week? No okay! Oh! It was just like about restitution like if white people had to pay restitution, like let's say you did your lineage and you found the family that enslaved your people, then, like the person that's alive now they were having to pay reparations out of their paycheck so like When the dude lined up at his job well, they had like a team meeting, so the manager was like, if you're paying restitution. Please see me afterwards before checking one person was like 10 and then the next dude was like 15 and he was like ouch. No, you took it from me. Yes, they just would have to come right out their paycheck. Oh man, let me tell you something: i got my paperwork ready, let them pull up. So this is from this side of the family, and this is from this side of the family. So, since you know we have enslavement on both sides of my family that me not get double checked. I think the answer to here. I need two of the things. Sir sir ma'am, it was not one of the better episodes, but it was still that's exactly what funny happen. I feel like 401k. All of that need to be dipped into and touched and taken, but then did they forgive my student loans. That'S a great start. No, not not, i don't know. I hope that my life kind of does, but i think it'll make a difference. These kids don't told them yeah, that's true, that's not for everybody, but for a lot of them. Oh, my god. I got ta check time to go shopping. Oh maybe the shower cap, i don't know um, yes, really cold, maybe a little chilly, this one's a devil yeah like if you don't believe in climate change. At this point you should because this is like not normal. This is a different level of disrespectful like this is spring and it's like dumb cold. You know, i'm gon na say it's dumb cold for spring: it's not dumb cold, dumb cold for winter, but gum right right for spring like this is not. This is not normal. Um at this point, this is practically irreversible right. What climate control yeah well, something i saw last week said that it's still not too late, but whatever that means yeah tell them to the polar bears they need to hurry up, because i need to keep my walking mama. I love my walking this this way to be jacking me up yeah. Well, you know what like it's just that it catches me off guard because, like i walk around snow mountain now, so it's like if it's sunny one day and then it's freezing another day. I usually don't go walking for the reason my black mama told me when i was younger. She used to be like that's pneumonia, weather yeah. Don'T do that! That'S pneumonia weather! So i'm like dang. This, probably pneumonia, don't leave the house with your head. Look, you know what i'ma tell this is the craziest thing. People say that all the time tonight i've tested it, i wet my hair, it won't make you sick right right, it won't. I put my hair every single morning, my husband he was going in on me. He was like i'ma say: you're [, __ ] outside look wet hair going outside right. He said you didn't do that. I got new hair, i think i would know so i assure you i'll be out there wet head. Freeze attempts. So i don't know they said a lot of stuff back there and you're gon na catch a cold through your feet. Now that one they might be true, i don't know my whole family made up this um explanation as to why i think one of my family members got a heart attack or a stroke or something they was like. You can't eat bananas late at night, because it's too heavy on your chest. I said what you're gon na be on your chest. Yes, if you ever eat a banana in in the evening, they will like freak out. Let me meet your family. I'M about to give me a boost in the chomping banana. Did you honey he's like look? I need everything down over my face. I don't know why these kids keep keep covering up these handsome faces. It'S stressing me out does the same thing. I'M like i need to cover my face. They think their forehead is big. Is that what that is, or maybe they won't look like the anime characters? Look, he said. No. I just like you like this. You do always say stuff he's always talking about your forehead. No, i'm like nothing, that's wrong about why i wouldn't braid it up, but there's nothing wrong with your forehead right. It'S normal! You could definitely pull your hair off your face. Yeah you still gon na get shorter, who told you you had a big forehead, who told him right who was hairline um? Did you see the episode where the teacher and the kids was joking on each other? Yes, and they were going in all the ways she called him ugly or whatever, and i told my son i said: let me tell you something: this is how this goes, anybody step out their face and call you ugly, you cut them off immediately. Okay, because your mother's possible, first of all, i started to get on the phone with the little girl, even though you know what i'm saying, she's young, i started to get on the phone with her and like her little ass up. Let me tell you something - and i was like don't do - that this is somebody's child, with a child emphasis on a child, but i'm about the hands-on. How did he bring it back to you, because sometimes you need context? No, no. I saw the messages he didn't. Even tell me so what happened is like i went through the phone, he told me. She said one thing, but i went through the phone and i seen you know what i'm saying like hold up. First of all, these little girls is fresh. How did he even get a little girl's phone number? Oh yes, and they say these kids ain't gon na be able to socialize okay. So we went to a milestone meeting one day. This is when he was he's like 11 or 12 years old. We went to one of their milestones or whatever it's on-site milestone and he met this little girl and um. You know she said she had liked him or whatever whatever and she was like. You know what i'm saying. Let me get your number and he was like yeah. Let me get yours too. I told him. Look if they'll give you their number they're, not really digging you like that. You know what i mean, so you got ta get the number, so he got the number like. I told him like a real g dude. You know what i mean so then they started communicating back and forth. You know what i mean and then she had asked him for some great and i think oh yeah, let's get straight to the point girl bye, exactly she went and asked myself for some breath. I'M like yo is this: how these new girls moving? Now? Yes, have you had a girl asking for money? Yes, oh my gosh or i sent them a picture of my bank account when i had no money, that's funny. This is what it looked like so yeah. It'S like you need to meet somebody okay, so she asked them for money she asking for money. You know what i'm saying that at the time my little one was gullible. You know what i mean he hadn't been, you know taught in the art of you know, saying mankind on these joints, so he actually was going to bring her to break. My husband happened to see the in the conversation and he was like yo. What'S good son like nah, you know what i'm saying little shorty can't be asking you for money. She ain't your girl. You know what i'm saying. You only give bread to your joint. What'S wrong with you, so we had to have a conversation with him about how these shorties are moving. Is this how these conversations be going with this little girl? I think she's, like 10 years old, that's ridiculous! She'S like she was like, she was 11., because this was there like this is some years back. This is his first milestone. This is like so i'm like what is going on. Oh, he been macking that long he's been making that long son. So you know what i mean shorty going to say when he finally hit her back until her night that we, you know, had the conversation with him. She gon na say you just broke. Oh i'm like [ __ ]. What is wrong with you? Ten years old, of course, i'm broke, she called him. Bro call my baby bro. So you know what i'm saying he showed me that you know what i'm saying and i was like she didn't - want begging for ramen noodle money. So go ahead. Let her know that, so he let her know that you know what i'm saying so she felt some type of way and then you know what i'm saying like he collected her and everything, and i told him i said this is the thing i can't tell you To stop being friends with her, i'm not going to do that, i'm going to let you make the decision about it! Oh because that's the decision that you're going to have to learn how to make on your own. So you know i mean he kept talking a little shortly. I thought some type of way about it, but i minded my business. I was like all right. Let me just keep checking these messages, i'm checking the messages, everything good. You know i'm saying she had minded hernandez at that point for a minute and then shorty got out of hand again, and then she told my son. He looked like a black rouse, yes and see. I don't play about my son's complexion. My son is chocolate chocolate. I am ready to throw some hands about anybody that said anything about his chocolate complexion, because it's gorgeous yeah, like i outsource chocolate men to have chocolate, babies, extra chocolate, that's just as bad as someone going for a white man to get good air for their kids. No, no! It'S not the same. I outsource chocolate men for the purpose of having that good melanated skin protection, it's just it's so much! But what? If your kid came out of my skin, how [ __ ] i'm black a lot of black gold? I don't know you know we got a lot of jeans, it's not in my family. I can show oh okay, all of my siblings, on my father's side. It don't get no lighter than me unless he got with a light, lighter skinned woman and my daddy. He been through the street, so you know he got him a puerto rican baby mama. He got a few of them things, but that's the only reason that those children are light-skinned on my dad's side, but we have more dark-skinned people from my bloodline on both sides. So yeah, i'm like no. We gon na keep it really melanated popping i'm trying to protect them, for when the earth get hotter the more melanin you have, the more protection you had and we already know like she said, climate change is on the rise. I mean i can't argue with that. Yeah, like it's getting it's getting hotter and the less melanin you have the more protection you're going to need. It'S a lot that goes into this so yeah. It wasn't just because i'm not little. You weren't thinking about no protection from this. No, you wasn't! No! You wouldn't stop you got ta understand. I was brought up in a cough that taught me nothing but like black superiority and how that superiority is like. That was my mental. That was my mental. My mom always said that she was like it's not that i'm telling y'all to have a baby with a dark-skinned man. You know saying for the purpose of being racist. She explained the science behind all of that. So with her explaining that, of course, i want a baby that has a stronger immune system and even a doctor told me when my son was born, because my son was born premature one pound 15 ounces when he saw his dad - and he saw me he said. Oh, don't worry, y'all, baby gon na be fine, and i was like. Why would you say that? How do you know that and he was like he started explaining to me how babies that are born premature, the darker. They are like the ones that are black they're stronger see. This is why they don't take black women seriously in the medical field. Why? Because they like you, bled you strong, you cannot it's not even that it don't hurt it's a fact. It'S something that they can't understand. Okay, all right! Well, just keep that same energy when they tell you, oh you, guesses, don't worry, but it has nothing to do with that. You'Re speaking to internal pain and physical pain and they're speaking to the strength of a person and the amount that they're able to take and withstand based on the fact that they were born with more melanin, it doesn't mean you don't feel pain. It just means that you have a stronger possibility of surviving through the pain i mean look at where we are today. Has slavery not proven this fast? Another race couldn't have endured what we black people have been doing and still managed to stand here and we're still half sane come on now. Okay, so yes, they can say whatever they want to say, but they better make sure they give me that damn medication, the same as they get that white woman, i better get that same treatment that that white woman get. If i complain. Otherwise you won't catch these hands. That'S all i'm saying so yeah i had to get the little girl together. You know what i'm saying i'm talking about my baby's skin we're going to play them games in this house. I even cut off family members. You talk about my baby's chocolate skin. I don't care about. None of that. You could have your colorist issues. Just don't happen this way, because my son's going to love themselves. I know too many dark skinned people that they don't like themselves and they, you know, are constantly feeling insecure because of their complexion when actually, i believe what y'all, just as beautiful as anybody else, if anything, let me get some of that melon. I always ask my son: let me borrow some of his momentum, so he had to cut her off because you know she don't know her place. She don't like herself. She got too many issues she broke. She think dark skinned. People are roaches, so you know that was the first girl, the second girl she started, sending all kind of inappropriates. She was talking about inappropriates and her her actual preferences and i'm like, but you're supposed to be a virgin. I'M not understanding. What'S going on, y'all aren't even teenagers. How are you talking about like she's, sending him s m posts and stuff and i'm like, but you're, only 12.? Yes, at 12 years old, that's an impression, i'm like who where's her father, her mother, but then you know what she's being she was vietnamese. So i guess it's to be expected. I don't know what you know. We live right. So what what's that supposed to mean? It'S to be expected, she's not being monitored. Accordingly, i mean she did have more caucasian tendencies. I'M not lying some of them just not raised i'm sorry, that's why they had us raising their kids, i'm not talking about the vietnamese, but i'm talking about you know, but she was more caucasian than anything. So i had to tell my son, i said baby. I need to tell you something about this little girl. You like he said. Yes, i said you know like she caucasian right and he said no mommy she's being indeed, i said you should probably ask her what racist she is see what she said. So he asked her and the little girl said she was vietnamese, but he explained to her the same as i explained to him being beneath is not a race, so do you identify as white or black? You know, because baby's, not that's, not a race. Well, of course you know she wasn't sure, so she found out she said white and um. At that point he dumped her. Oh that's why he don't mention her. No more, you might be asking about it just to be nosy. He dumps her cause. She was white. I was like, but he didn't explicitly say that to me i'm like so how's you know: what's her name doing mm-hmm yeah, he talked he. He didn't tell her that you know it was because of that right, but he knows like for him he's like nah. That'S that's one of mommy's. Oh no's, like you know what i'm saying like i told him. I said you could be friends with a white girl all of that, but when it comes to like dating them in my book, that's not something i'm comfortable with. I haven't gotten past that part, and you know i support interracial marriages, just not with my children. I'M being honest, i support people girl, pull out, pull out. No, why why can't people have preferences? I don't understand why that's so offensive to people. If i say i want my children to just like, you have a preference for dark skin. Oh i mean who can deny the glory of the black. I'M sorry, it's beautiful. I have a preference for the dark same men, but i still date men that are lighter complexion. I don't base a man's manhood and the quality of a man on if he's, darker or lighter. Obviously my husband is light-skinned, but you can i mean you're, like you like, dark meat, but you just don't like it on the side. People can have it. I feel like. I don't understand why people can't have preferences anymore, like people get upset about that. If a man said he like likes to be in women, i'm not gon na be upset about that. I don't care yeah as long as he don't be like dark skinned women as ugly as that. If a man say he like this, i don't understand. I don't understand how people can have a preference for height and people can have a purpose for weight for people paying for preference for eye color and haircut like why. I don't understand it. Everybody is colorism, it's the self-hate, or maybe that's just what i'm attracted to when i see it in my eyes so yeah he dumps her and everything yeah she needed to do it. She did see you already know there was so many others. I wasn't like in here for him see exactly, but it ain't my place. Oh no, it's my place. I should have let him know i was like she's, not the one. Can she cook fried chicken like your mama, because she made it i'm just glad he can see it? No. Can she make the powder and you know what he asked her too: can you cook salt? She didn't know what it was. So he was like yeah mommy. She doesn't, she can't do the stuff and see my sons like the way that they see it is i'mma date. You and you got ta, do a lot of things that my mommy could do. So can you do this? Do you believe in that? How do you think about this, so my son started asking her questions like he got a little deeper because see she kept talking about the inappropriate, so he brought him back to the type of person that she was and what, like her skills, were her capabilities and, Like what you want to do when you grow, because my son already knows what he wants to do when he becomes, you know an adult, so i told him i said you know what i'm saying like. What'S her goals in life because she keep talking about something she loved and this girl told my son: she loves him, i'm so in love with you. I think about you all the time and that night i miss you most first of all, you're 12.. You don't miss him not at night. You'Ve, never even seen him in person like what y'all met in the newspaper club, sis yeah my son, be having these little girls in a bunch honey. I was like boy, you, a real one, so he doesn't have those type of issues. People say: homeschool children, they all know how to socialize and my children, my child. You know how to you just don't socialize with everybody, because everybody yeah. That'S all. I need to know i can't help you. I know. First buckets, you know he can go back because he already know how to tag it, because he already hit that one and hit that one up. So you know there's nothing wrong with flirting as long as you don't see me that question you would actually date her you're, just not the one. Oh my you ain't god. Here, i'm not ready. You got to be ready. She'S already told you how to deal with these joints, not the joints. Oh my god. I remember thinking that too yeah. You are absolutely but it's like. I really feel like. I was just in junior high like a couple of years ago. Me too me too. You know what's so crazy when i spoke to my son about shorties like at first, he used to laugh like amir used to laugh at me, like i used to talk to him about shortly, he's like because even when they was younger, narada tell you. I used to be like yeah, you know what i'm saying one day and i just i would say that all the time and he would just laugh, she would say in a joking manner but like she'd, be dead. Serious and i was like i'm gon na. Have a bag in these shoes like i used to say that when my son was mad young and like he'd, be like he's too young, and i'm like i'm trying to tell you watch this so as he started getting older. Whatever i kept telling him like about the joints, i'm like yo, i used to bag them too. Let me tell you how used to bags you should have them on the line. This isn't that and he would just laugh and giggle and, like i was like, is he listening to me then, when i seen how he started bagging shorties, i was like yeah, he, his mother child. He was listening to me and he knew some of the lines. I taught him these girls be going crazy. One girl, cursed him out. Are you ghosting me? Why are you ignoring me you're enormous? I don't like being ignored, mommy she's too young ain't. She obsessive. So i told him i said you got ta tell her. She got ta calm down. You gon na put her yo. This is crazy. Ain'T no way. I could have this conversation, my mom really. Don'T he told my mommy. She said this, isn't that i told him what to test. I said you're talking, you're gon na put him in time right now. Maybe it's because mommy's, because we just talk about everything we do like me and my kids. I i appreciate it. I wish i wish my mom did that with me. But, and i say look you could just use the curse words like just be yourself. Don'T talk to me the way you you know, i'm saying want to talk to mommy talk to me. The way you talk to one of your homies yo. I didn't expect what came out of his mouth after that, and all i could do was laugh, but it was just so funny. He was like i'm tired of this [ __ ] mommy. That was the oldest one. I can't see them his favorite word. You just wanted to see. No, this is what we do. This is our session. Oh that's a sub. We literally have a session where every few months i sit down and we talk about like real things in life, and i tell them like use your curse. Words use whatever, like don't hold back, say exactly what you feeling i want to see who you are and he drew it all. He go for bro cause the first time he did. He was so uncomfortable yeah. He wasn't used to that. I just feel like he's. Disrespectful, it's not disrespectful, i'm telling you to be who you are what's disrespectful? Is you not respecting my wishes? Oh oh just be, who you are at that point. He was like you know what you're right sick of this [ __ ], oh okay! So now you know and it's crazy because after allowing him that first session, like our second and third sessions, he hasn't cursed as much so it's like he's learned like okay, it's not necessary, and you know i'm saying every space and place now that i get to Use it it's not as exciting as i thought it would be like so now it's just normal conversation and every once in a while it might pop in there, but for the most part, it's really like wow. So this is what open communication looks like. I have no idea what that's like with a parent. Oh wow, don't worry, i got you guys, you need it but yeah. That'S all you got to let your kids curse. They ain't gon na, find it so interesting anymore. This doesn't curse to you, though. You know all this is corny. I had to talk to my son about everything pregnancy, all that, oh lord, my kid's, afraid of kids. I don't want no kids mommy. I tell them the hardships, apparently every single day i'll be like see. I see how much extra money i got ta spend on y'all. Can you imagine having to spend extra money? You know what i could have did with this money. Then i'll tell them how much i spent on them right and i'll be like you know what what's something that i could have did for myself with this money. Had i just been by myself and didn't have kids and my kids, they just started naming this uh. You could have bought this for yourself and then you could it's for yourself, and this is why you shouldn't have kids at a young age, because you're not going to be able to do none of that stuff that y'all just named. So, but that's what i tell everybody, i'm like you just have to talk to your kids, like, like just have conversations with them, see where they're at, like everyone just assumes like no, it's too much. They can't handle it. I don't want to share that with them. Like kids are not stupid, they're not stupid, like we were all kids before. That'S why i don't understand how y'all don't they're little people, that's all smaller than you, that's it, but at the end of the day, mentally like there are certain things that you do have to gauge and make sure that you're ready for before you approach that conversation. But you can always tell if you're paying attention to your child, whether or not your child is still that child or if they've grown past those phases and when they do, you just be wrong with them and talk to them like they love people like i get That you're my kid little person but cut the crap. I heard you in your room cursing. So now we passed it. Let'S talk speaking to me and mommy mommy tone like get out of here. I wan na hear that so yeah, my kids they're cool they're, real chill just like um yolanda, my cousin best friend we just had. I got ta call her back, but we were having a discussion because she said she feel like i shouldn't let ethan wear the hoodie. Oh the [, __ ], your opinion. Yes, oh yeah, that one that's just the last time i was here she's, like i don't think, is he allowed to use that word i'm like i mean it depends on the content context and situation he's only 10 years old, but he understands what the word means In that thing he curses very nicely. Oh boy. He can add it in a sentence with structure. I'M sure he can. I asked him. I was like so what curse word you you want to use when you get old enough um what word he said. I think it was the s word he wanted to say [ __ ]. I was like. Oh okay. I was just curious. Let me just see yeah so yeah she was telling me i shouldn't. Let him prepare the hoodie, i'm like please that's his hoodie. He asked me, could he have it? He saw the word and one day it was a real cold day and he had his extra hoodie. So i let him wear the hoodie and he was just walking around with it and he was like. I really like this hoodie, it's really warm. Can i keep it and i looked down at the hoodie and i realized what it said. I was like i said: yeah, you could wear it and he was like yeah, and i said you know what that's saying he said: yeah mommy, so you know what i mean. He said: yeah he's a little mother, it's not like the hoodie's. Not it doesn't resonate with him. That'S how his personality people don't care, what people think about him, so i feel like it just it fits him so well and everywhere we go. Oh, my god, people just be staring at me like you're, a bad mother, a child walking around the cursed world. I'M like shut up your kids, uh twerking somewhere on twitter or something you know he know not to bust somewhere down the wrong spaces. So what spaces can he bust out? The word i never heard him say no he's with me he's not going to and that's the thing. Why ask ethan to say curse. Word he'll automatically say no mommy, that's a bad word he wants to, but he knows he's not supposed to so he'll say he'll, be like no mommy. That'S a bad word, and you know i can't say it until i'm 16.. He knows that like for him to loosely just throw that word in the streets around me. He got to be 16 or better, so i told them that's their age. Look you! You wanna! You wan na go get a tattoo. Let'S go like america, he said when he gets 16, you wan na you can get a tattoo or sixteen. Yes, all right! Let me get your parents yeah as long as your parents signed up for it. So yeah mary wants to go, get a tattoo a tattoo with me. So when he turns 16, i'm gon na sign up and take a look at his first tattoo. I think i'm just a different type of mother, but my mom. She tried to keep me from being me when i was younger and that just made me angry with her. She didn't accept me and it built a lot of anger towards her because of that. So i'm trying to make sure that i don't turn around and do the same things to my kids by cycling who they are because i may not understand it. It'S like it's not really for me to understand. They don't belong to me. They'Re human beings and they should be allowed to express who they are, but that comes with limits still right. Is there anything you can't express? I agree in this day and age. We can't raise kids like the way they were raising them 30 years ago. You know we live in a different world. We live in a totally different world. These kids are exposed to so much jesus. They have so much like just at their fingertips nowadays that you got ta. I think they got too much at their favorites. I agree i so much know that they they're not even like mentally stimulated when they see like things that we used to get so excited about, like my mom felt some type of way, because the kids weren't excited about her christmas lights, i'm like mom, it's lights. They don't even snow. These kids been waiting for snow in georgia for a thousand years. They like at this point. We don't believe in christmas, where's the snot. You guys told us that when christmas come snow, come y'all didn't say that i live. I only get snow. So you need to figure out how to make it snow in georgia. Otherwise we not having real christmases but yeah. These kids ain't excited about nothing. They see that tree. They see no presents they'd, be like more stuff for me thanks. That'S it back there as kids. We used to be hiding around corners waiting for our parents to not be around, so we could tear a little piece and then try to stick it back. So they see it stuff like that. They don't do stuff like that, no more! No, they are grateful. They got so much crap cell phones, gaming systems, ipads, damn i wish i was a kid yeah. I remember when having a cell phone was a big deal. If you smell like that new can of spritz that mean y'all, remember back in the day when we would go to school and if you smell, like you, came from the salon, everybody just knew that you like had money like yeah. You know they go get their hair done in a real salon. Then you can smell the girls who used to get the hot comb in the kitchen from their mama because she forgot to spritz afterwards, because you're smelling them burning irons on your head, getting real little tricks. Oh i've seen a post. That said, the reason jacob 50 smith, if somebody uh they sold real, that's like she ain't got alopecia she's just been putting chemicals on her hair for years i mean i kind of agree with that too, but i that's why i was like really uh really. How do you wan na tell somebody how to wear their hair? People have been coloring their hair for years that doesn't discredit whether or not somebody has a condition just like those women have been relaxing their hair for years if they end up with thyroid or cancer. Some form of cancer, i'm not going to say well, you ain't got cancer cause. I mean you was relaxed in your hair for 30 years. So it's your fault. Well, i i, i definitely feel like she has alopecia i've seen it. I'Ve seen the clip of her with the missing hair, but um yeah until they actually say something like. I just feel like everyone needs to leave the situation alive. He just got banned. That'S all the oscars for 10 years, i'm like i mean, would i care? If i was him, i finally got my only oscar got the bamboo, like i mean, does anything else matter he needed to be banned. That was ridiculous. I'Ll be like it took y'all. A thousand years to give samuel jackson this oscar it took y'all a thousand years. The only reason holly barry got it because she was smuttered out in monsters. Balls like i don't care what y'all think about me. That'S the college. Will smith hey nuts, take this? So, hmm, oh! So so so, what's so special about it? No, i just haven't seen it, but nobody cares about natural hair. Hmm, i stopped following hairstyles because, like i don't know it just it wasn't exactly inspiring to me and i'm like okay, yeah yeah. I come, but i come across those randomly it's not like from most styles that i'm following um. Well, i think you know what i follow a lot of salons, because when we like started growing, a lot of people started following us and i don't follow them back when i realized they had salons. I was like okay, so i found like a lot of salons black people, white people, like asians, like about a lot of different types of salons, so i just so happen always notice the ones that really do do natural hair, and this one in particular. They did do natural hair, i mean, of course, they still blew off their hair. They ain't nobody's done, but i mean they did natural spots. Nobody want to get their natural hair done or if they do like, we were saying earlier, they don't want to pay for it, so they feel like it's not worth the same amount of value as getting a lace front installed, or you know going to get your Hair put in box braids and which is crazy to me, but you know so crazy people, people justify a lace, front, wig air install costing more than the time it takes to literally put in individual tiny brains that look like a machine. Did it like literal walking art like correct, you know what i think it's interesting, how like um people that like are in this, like just looking into the natural hair world and community. They have these expectations of a new hairstyle trending every other week right. But when people wear straight hair, nobody expects you to alter that. Your hair is just straight every week, week after week, nobody says: oh, my god, with straight hair. They need to start doing more. They need to bring back the crimps and the waves and the finger waves and they need to bring back when uh straight hair like there was an art form to it at one point, but that was like way back. It was like in the 70s yeah. You know what you're right my junior high days, it was like, like the asymmetrical cut, yeah yeah like now straight hair is just straight flat and down and long as long as your hair is straight with baby hairs, i'm so sick yeah, but it's like when it Comes to natural hair, it's like! Oh, that's, boring! That'S boring! I want this. I want to know something: it's like people keep trying to create new things to keep the natural hair world going, but i'm like, if you're natural, because you're truly natural, because you like natural hair for the health of your hair. There are different styles that you can alternate between and through, but at the end of the day, like there's a foundation to natural hair, just like there's a foundation to straight hair and you ain't gon na be able to do but so much. You know what i mean, so it's like it's still somebody's head and his hair and you have to consider the fact that most people work. So you can't, you know, turn around and put blues and pinks, and you know just do too much crazy stuff to people's hair, because people work so like that whole creative aspect of it. The art aspect of it, like that kind of takes a back seat unless you're doing like a hair, show or something you don't have no job. You know so, i'm like. I don't understand why people have all these expectations of a new natural hairstyle being created every other month, but they don't have that for straight hair, because i ain't seen nothing new or unique from straight hair. Since people started transitioning to natural, i don't see nothing like remember we used to do so. We said these two feathers in beauty school. We don't need to do that, no more as long as your hair is long and straight everything cut the cut around the bag. I'M like that's it; this is what y'all hype about. This is what this is. What the excitement is about these one layered, zero degree cuts and as long as the hair is straight and all the way down her back everybody's just in awe and amazed like i understand people are so surprised that black women can grow hair down their back and That it can be straight and still get longer to press it out like. What'S the amazement at this point, i'm still seeing pictures of straight hair with a million lights. Is it oh, my gosh, her hair's so bone straight. It'S a miracle! No, it's a hot pump! So now the new wave i saw i've been seeing is black people are considering the japanese fragrance system. I'Ve been seeing more of those videos pop up on my own youtube feed, but they clearly stated that it wasn't for black people. Here. Japanese people themselves stated that it wasn't for black people's hair. Oh they did yeah. I missed that yeah. The first time i saw a japanese stranded video it was. I was wondering why i never took off here, because you're not supposed to do it on black people's hair, the person it was a god that actually started it. This was some years back when i first saw it and he was explaining that black people's hair. The reason you can't do it is because he said it's very damaging for our hair. Our hair can't withstand the lye with the heat, the flat iron, on top of it, because you have to put a perm on somebody's hair and then you take a flat iron. While the perm is still on the hair and you literally press the hair out with lye on it with relaxer on the hair, i was like what so he said that you know what i'm saying you shouldn't: do it for black people's hair, because it's going to Damage our hair, but now i've been seeing videos of black women trying it and it's crazy. I'M like ain't, no way as if the relaxer wasn't harsh enough. Y'All gon na turn around and put heat on top of relaxer. Just so you can keep your hair as straight as possible, and this one girl. I saw her video her review and she was like my hair stays straight and you know i really don't have to uh so like, for instance, usually when you do a relaxer, you still have to go in and blow dry the hair and press it out. Just because the hair usually isn't as straight as people, think it's going to come out and then when it does come out straight straight, it looks so dead because that's at that point, it's usually over processed. So basically now they're trying that new technique. Where you know, press uh put the heat put the flat iron on top of it to help the hair retain the straightness, it's maximum straightness, but i haven't seen any update videos on it. Yet so i'm like, hopefully that ain't the way blacks is a hot comb. There'S gon na be a lot of bald head extra ball heads. You mean it's not enough already asking about the best type of uh term to use i'm telling this thing the platform for that. I can't help you with that. The title says natural hair. I don't know why you decided to come out here and ask me this issue. No, i don't even require all that energy. If you go get some bleach and some peroxide ooh from the hair supply stored up when you go, go to the beauty, supply store. Ask them for bleach and peroxide and um make sure that you get level 10., leave it on for 45 minutes to strain your hair. Oh speaking of that chance, you did you want to ask her about the color he was trying to get. Oh, what color were you thinking about? Oh, i told him blonde was not that healthy, that it could change the texture of his hair. So you need to be careful with that. Well, um, and then i asked him where definitely not his entire head, like the tips, did you want all of your hair that way or just making it complicated, because so many people get their locs colored different ways. So i'm trying to make sure i understand what you're saying because you're definitely not getting your entire head blonde. Every single lock on your head line; that's not happening so then, which ones and then that's when you couldn't explain: [ __, ], okay, but um okay. So this is how this works. What you're asking for is not complicated. I just don't think your brother is going to approve of it. Your roots would still be black, but like you're, basically asking for, like your whole lot, minus your weight to be black and at your roof you're looking at about, maybe maybe about an inch, that's a lot of your hair right and then i was trying to explain To him that your root is always going to be black, because your hair is constantly growing out your scalp, so i'm just going to come back girl. You know these boys. If you want to listen to that. You give me my brown hair. Why you got this complicated, so yeah you? I wouldn't color like more than 75 of your hair blonde. I wouldn't even the most i would do. Is 50? That'S about half of your life, but like yeah, i don't even want anymore you're wondering where the sides are almost faded out in the store like girls like wish. They could have your hairline see the whole hairline concept is a concept for men, because we were taught that we had to keep our hair cut low, and so, when you get get it cut low, it looks more flattering to have a hard straight line for a Hairline, but when you start growing out your hair, it's kind of it kind of doesn't it doesn't mean yeah, i mean, wouldn't you say it's more of masculine in the natural hair community. Maybe having such a hard hairline is not. I guess what i'm trying to say in the natural hair community having a natural hairline is the norm, but society for men. What you're saying the writer is like y'all are expected to have clean cut, crisp, yeah, we've been kind of programmed and so like once. You know now that we're growing out our hair and wearing our hair differently. Now it's like the same rules, just don't necessarily apply. It is one thing: if you got hair cut, then aesthetically it would match with. What'S your it's like it's like adding two styles for one, you don't actually need one for the other. You can do one or you can do the other. It'S just a matter of. If you want it now, you say i just want my hair cut, because i want my hair cut, then that's a different story, but you don't actually need it. So if you just want it, you know what i'm saying, because you want to put it with such a forehead and all of that and you want a straight line, say good, but i mean you've got the perfect hairline boy, that's because they had breakage in the Front they had no choice, he said meaning like there, because he might not understand that when you stay breaking like some of their locks thinned down or fell out, they got it twisted too tight. It just started breaking now. They got little fuzz in the front and they don't like that so to clean it up. They'Ll go in and shave it and line it up. But when you don't have those issues, that's not really a concern for you behind their um carillon. But when i started yeah, i know what you mean. I know you, that's not what you want. I'M just saying agreeing with her like that. Just looks crazy it'll be like they have like this much hair. So you know where's the pictures. That'S there see like he has a natural hairline, this his natural hairline. It'S not tucked that way. That'S how your hair is it's just natural yeah and then you have people like this. Did you have video like him? Yes, i know. That'S what we were saying: don't do that don't do that! Thank you. Your hair does that, naturally, it just doesn't come as far down that's what he was referring to here, that little one little one inch or half an inch of space on their forehead. What i was just saying, what we were just saying, looks crazy and you know what honestly. So this is the thing it doesn't always look crazy. It just can get crazy at some point because a lot of people he is fine. I just seen a locked man. He is gorgeous, but um no, some people, they actually start off and it looks nice, but the problem with that. That part, is that a lot of barbers since cut into it? Do you cut? Do you do not anymore? I need to get some clippers. I don't have time to be coming here in the barber shop. I got a lot closer she's determined to get me back on my clippers because i used to do her at the front of her hair and she's like henny. Come on. Somebody asked me that a few weeks ago i was like you know what i don't know you got to ask her, i'm all right with the clippers. I ain't know what i'm saying: i'm still learning how to do. Uh, like the phase where, like it fades into the layers like i practice on the mirror, but i've done pretty good the last few times that i've done his uh fade out. Okay, so that's the one thing, but when it comes to doing the actual lineup stream quality, let me just get right. I used to do um. You know what i used to do: beards and stuff like that and oh no. I was asking now, but i never actually did it. It diminishes the quality for some reason, um at somebody's hair and tell if that's going to work for their face and stuff. I'M still learning how to put the face with the lineups and stuff, because you know there's so many different types of heads and shaped faces: yeah yeah yeah, like my um amir i had to. I had cut his hair one day and i didn't realize his texture had changed. First of all, his texture has changed. Erotic can tell you that voice. Texture is not the same, but when he was younger, it was course all over. It was just like my hair. Very beautiful and tight and tightly curled, and now he has his father's curls like for like 75 of his head, but around his perimeter is still my texture. But that's why i tell people you got ta, let kids grow in the puberty before you start doing crazy. Stuff to their head because their hair is gon na change or it can. It can change i'll say that we got pictures. I got pictures to prove the change from when he was a baby. He had this slit like amir's, hair was slick and then, when amir turned two years old, his hair became more like my hair and it was coarse and it was tight. Bdb is all over the place, and now that he's like, i think about 10 years old, i started to see that his curl was changing, but i was like what the hell was going on. I thought something was wrong at first, but then, once it's settled like now he's 13, it has settled. He has very loose curls like it's so weird, oh, my boy, the native american, his um, his grandmother on his father's side. She can actually prove their native americans. No that's from y'all your your daddy's saying overnight we all very, very, very close, his father's side. On the other hand, they have that lucy. His hair looks just like his father's, so the strange thing about it is: they have meaty heads when you cut it. It just looks like there's extra meat on it, it's like what in the world, so i can't cut his hair but so low and then his um his world. I have to cut around it. I can't cut against his brain grow into his scalp and it'll cause him to have bumps. So that's not good, it's not, but that's that's how, but that's how like the texture of his hair is so interesting, so yeah. I had to learn that when i cut his hair one day because i cut it wrong and i was like: oh no man, we got ta put a hat on you, but his hair grew back so fast. It wasn't that big of addition. So you know if enough people come to me, you know, i'm sure it is so, but i've always been interested in bargaining. I just know that as a woman, that's not really a as a certain type of woman. That'S not really a comfortable space for a woman to be in so i'm not being in a barber shop surrounded by men and then, if you're, not in a barber shop surrounded by men, then you have to get your home sweet because it's safer. Otherwise, you got ta do that dang! What'S going on in the barber shop man, it's not that it's just that there are a lot of men that don't understand when you tell them. No, they don't understand that your extra place of work - and this is not the time to be trying to haul at me and when you put yourself in a position where there's a revolving door, full of men and you're, guaranteed to encounter a man that doesn't understand That this is not the place more of the time but see if you got your homeboys in the barbershop to back you up, i mean they could back you up all day. They still ain't gon na stop with me. No, i won't. Some men will still come out of their face and then you're talking about some you've been in close proximity to these men you're over their heads. It'S just a lot that goes into that. As the woman like, i commend the women barbers that have made it as far as they have, but i know that it wasn't done without them having to endure disrespect and all kind of [ __ ]. In me, i don't have the patience for a man to disrespect me i'ma turn up and put that whole barbershop upside down. You'Re, not gon na disrespect me. You know what i mean and at that point they'll be like. Oh

Lynn J: Awe I wanted to see the finished style. Your client has beautiful hair.

Pretty Natural: I wish I could find a hair dresser in my area that doesn’t have to blow dry my hair and flat iron it to braid it

iateyursandwiches: Can you do a video about how to keep natural hair moisturized during the winter? Im basically praising the lord that its spring now. My hair gets so dry after 2 days and i just don't know what to do anymore. I deep condition every week during winter to help. It's gotten worse since I've been color treated but i always had this issue. I have a taper cut, so mini twists/updos arent really an option...It seems I will have no choice but grow out my hair so i can do more protective styles. Otherwise, its box braid extentions... I'm even thinking of just straightening my hair throughout the winter at this point...please help.

Nadia Boyce: Another slay!!!!
