Life Hack For Young Women: Easy Headband Wig Installation

So guys, as i was just about to start filming the intro for this video right, i recognize that the shirt that i'm wearing, which i just threw on for this video, actually is saying two of the things that i stand for on my channel, which is faith. So that's the first word and the other is family. The other is friend, and i guess that's a good thing as well, although i didn't mention it in the channel as one of the ifs but um yeah, it's faith, family, fun and food. But i guess we can put friends in as well as a worthy mention, but hi guys, what's up, welcome back to another youtube video um hold on so yes, guys, hi welcome back to another youtube video. I really enjoy your company over here right, so in this video, i'm doing something a little bit different. I thought, in addition to what i already bring to my channel, i thought i'd just share some life hacks. Basically, for myself um i mean at my age, especially as a working young woman. There are ways that i think a lot of us want to find that will make life easier for us. So i'm trying my best to find those ways for myself and when i do find them, i want to share them here, and one of them has to do it here. So, as you will see in the video um, i do have a bit of length on my natural hair - it's not very short um, so yeah. Sometimes it can be very frustrating to deal with your hair so guys this week has been doing the most. For me, for the past couple months, i have not worn my my natural hair since november since november, i haven't worn my hair guys when i say quick, easy, convenient, headband wig for any occasion it does it for me. It has been doing it for me and it can do for you too, so in this video, i'm just going to go through one of the length it is when it comes down to hair care, getting the hair done and doing my own edges. This is the longest it will take and it's pretty quick but um another day after another day after the painting and if i'm wearing it down or if i'm painting up to go to work um. I don't do my edges every day and when i'm going to my bed the same way, i tie down the edges in this video. It'S the same way, i tie it down, go to my bed and when i wake up, i just loops and i hit the road i mean after a while it does get stale but um. It does. Last. Like a few days, i sometimes go to work for a whole week without doing my edges or redoing my edges, because you know it stays down. Okay, so hey guys! Let'S go! This is the wig right, headband wig, so it has a headband affixed to the wig. Pretty simple install it has four combs inside that you will use to kind of like secure the wig on your head because nobody wants hair coming off on them, while they're on the road right, while you're trying to slay. You don't want that hair coming off. So yeah it has four combs on the inside that you'll use to fix the wig to your hair. So i start off with my hair into ponytails. As i said before, i don't have the shortest hair so yeah. It wasn't too hard for me to just wrap the hair into, and these have been done for about two weeks so don't mind the sharpening so yeah, two ponytails, quick and simple start off for the hair. So the next step basically is to just pin those ponytails under, so they don't get in your way any at all, because we're gon na put our head back we're gon na put a what's that thing called a wig cap here, i'm gon na put a wig Cap over the hair, so i want to kind of get ponytails out of the way, so i use two hair pins to just secure them in so when i put the headband on the wig on the wig cap on what's wrong with me, when i put the Wig cap on, i have no issues so yep there. We have it nicely, tucked and ready for the wig cap to go over it. So now, it's time to lay my edges prepare my edges for the installation of the week. Some people really don't care about. This part, because then candle edges are them cam butter or for whatever reason, but me personally, i love to show my edges when i'm wearing my headband wig, so i always try to make sure my edges are nicely prepared before putting the wig on. I don't do this every day. I really don't have to do this every day, because once i lay down - and i tie it down each night - it stays maybe like every three days or so i'll have to refresh it but um. I try to ensure that i have it nicer prepared because me just love to see they look more natural. I don't know i just love to see it. Okay, so rewind a little bit. I use this spray bottle to kind of just wet up the edges, because this was done before. Obviously, so i use a spray bottle to just wet up the edges, use this cute little comb that has the well. It has the comb and the brush to it. So i use this note to just kind of brush in the edges, the old edges and try to make way to leave the new ones so got to be glue. Um invincible, styling gel, has been my go-to further in my edge insect. I don't have issues with like flakes and my edges are properly and eyes. They probably did so yeah. I squeeze some into my hand, rub it up a bit and just kind of lay the hair. Back generally before i start to prep the quote: unquote: baby hairs as we call them so now i'm going to get some more got to be glued this time, i'm going to squeeze it onto my fingertip and i'm just going to go right around the edges of My hairline with it, because this is the part now that i'm gon na properly decorate, you know, um and then guys just watch what i'm doing to see how i get the baby here is because marilyn - and i know every time i say my voice over part Of the video just just open there, so basically just use the brush for kind of like a brush or that little part had a baby here and then use the comb part to just put in that piece. That makes sense. Yeah keep watching now, thanks for asking doing just fine. Can i say that you're looking real nice, i love to chat right now before i get high when so now that we've leave the edges it's time to just put the wig cap on before we do anything else, you're, just so stunning. So now it's just time to take a scarf and timer. It is done. You can use whatever holds your edges down best, but this scarf works wonders for me. I like to do this part like before i show her or just as i wake up so while my edges are being dried, i can take care of some other stuff in my get ready process. So while my edges are being dried, i use this time to take care of the wig, a spray bottle of water. That is so essential. I mean, if you have no nails, you need a spray bottle or water, because this activates the curls in magical ways. So he says spray bottle of water and then i get this brush um. I call this a weak brush. I really don't know what the right name is for it, but yeah. I just use this brush to start detangling, the hair from the end. For me, it's a whole process of transformation and beauty. Sometimes it takes some work to detangle the ends, but i mean it depends on how tangled your hair is just get some more water with it off the detangle use your finger if necessary, go right through i mentally the change. The process is magical and then you end up with this bomb girls and you're ready to play away. So i spent some time in this process because i love my hair very curly. I don't worry about it's, not a major issue and um yeah. As i said, i love to start with my hair, curly and very wet um, especially if i'm gon na wear the hair down for the entire day. Somebody really have a voice over every part of this video. No i'm not thinking so just what i'm doing now. I'M basically just taking down my scarf, because i think my edges are dry and getting myself ready now to just put any family down. So let's put the wig on. If you watch what i'm doing, i'm basically trying to get this back piece out of the way while i put on the wig, so i just secured it over the hair and then i'm taking the two combs at the side. Those are the ones i put in. First, flip the wig over and just secure those two combs at the side. Then i proceed to secure the one at the top and then i secure the one at the back. So next, i kind of just lightly grab the hair with a grab clip so that i can secure the back part of the headpanel wig. So i pull it down from where i initially secure it and secure it where it actually is to be know that the wig is on my head, so there we have it folks, wig is installed right now, so basically after i put it on, i like to Go back in with some more water waste it up some more and use the brush again and go fill it again. Um! It'S up to you how you like to wear your curls but, as i said before me love my curls, then will curly and additionally i use some mousse in the hair. Without you these days, a lot of body has been my go-to. Like my go to most. I really love the results and it lasts me um, quite a while when i'm on the road. This is another essential part of slaying, the wig for me, the headband, so i bought i have around 30 or 32 or something like that headbands. No, i bought these ones first, that i just showed you um, and then i got some of the other ones that you can just pretty much put right around. It goes right around the headband, so this only goes around the front of the hair, but the other one which you will see goes right around i've been feeling nothing lately when without you, i know that something really special made me think about you about you about.
