The Easiest Headband Wig Ever! Beginner Friendly Afro Kinky Half Wig Tutorial | Nadula Hair

Hey guys audrey here, i completely forgot to make an intro. I actually mentioned later on in my video, that i would do a intro after my hair and my makeup, and everything was done because i didn't want to do it just with a wig cap child. However, i completely forgot to make the intro when i was filming, because everything just went not exactly the plan. It was a little bit chaotic, so i'm making an intro now, hey guys, it has been a very very long time, but welcome back to my channel. Thank you so much for watching this video. I feel like it's pretty self-explanatory, given the title, but we're just going to be getting into this hair and we are going to be testing it out, trying it out styling it everything good. Let me stop filming with my phone. Let'S get into it all right guys. Here i am um, it has been a very long time. Forgive me if i'm rusty, it's just a lot, i'm looking i'm giving ghetto, i was gon na, say, yellow fabulous, but it's more like ghetto minus the fabulous which leaves us just that just leaves us together. Am i right? This is why i did my intro at the beginning. I knew how i would be coming on initially to this video. It would look like there's no hope, but i guarantee there is hope. Well, i'm hoping there's hope because i haven't gotten to the end actually yet in real time, so i don't actually know if it works out. So i guess we'll see but yeah, let's get started the hair. We are going to be testing trying out styling rocking. Hopefully, today is by a brand called nadula hair. This brand is available on amazon. That is where i receive the hair from from their amazon store. I do believe they also have a website where you can purchase hair from as well, but this is a review of their amazon line, the dual hair on amazon.com period, like it's really that simple. What'S amazing about this is, although i purchased it on amazon.com, if you are a canadian like me, i don't know how this works for other countries like internationally, but if you're, a canadian you can still buy it on amazon.com, like they'll. Just do the currency exchange rate for you, you can order. You can order the hair on whatever normal payment method that you have um and whatever account you normally have. You can leave review everything that you normally would on amazon.ca. So do keep that in mind. I'M not an american resident, but whether you are american or canadian. You can still order from amazon.com, at least for this fender, which is awesome. So this is the nedula afro kinky curly, hair, half wig um. It'S called a half wig, but really it's the trendy thing to call it right. Now is the headband wig, which essentially is just a halfway, but because there's a headband at the front you don't need to like have leave out literally just put it on, and the headband will cover the hairline, which you know. If you didn't have a headband, usually you'd have a closure or a frontal leave out something right: you're, not just gon na like stick well. Some people do do that. That'S a story for another day but um yeah. So it's a half wig with a headband. I don't have any cool fancy headbands, like some other people have done in like youtube videos, but i do have some cute ones that they included, which i actually really like. I'M gon na get some bedazzled like crazy ones. I ordered one on amazon yeah, so this hair that we have is 18 inches. The link is in the description right now right now it is currently 119 plus shipping, depending on where you are located so yeah. This is my first time with any sort of afro kinky hair. It'S the first time for everything. Am i good at putting on wigs guys? Am i good at installations? Am i a wig guru? No, i am not yeah. I said it i'm not so do we know what we're gon na get here? No, we don't but we're gon na. Try. If you know me, you know i love hair. I love changing my hair. I love trying different styles love, trying different colors this year. I'M gon na hopefully do more of that um, so yeah we're just gon na have a party we're just gon na have a party. So this is what the hair looks like i'll show you how it comes in the box. Literally in the box. It comes in a plastic bag and then they included um one other headband looks very tropical. I wish i was in a tropical place and a wig cap, assuming this is gon na, be easy. This is for the girls who don't like to put a lot of effort in their hair. This is for the girls me who, when it's a lockdown like it, is for me again and they can't actually go see their hairdresser. They need another plan, you know so i'm just gon na take it. It has a whole bunch of clips. So these are the clips that you're, just gon na actually be inserting into your scalp. Can you guys see that so that you don't lose grip and it stays on your head and doesn't fall off, but you also have an adjustable strap here so that you can change the size. But let me reiterate, i have an enormous head if you can't see that i have a huge egg head, just trust me and it's really big back here as well. It'S a monstrosity! Let me just do a time lapse, because i'm wasting time i'm gon na put on the blue headband really quickly, just because i don't have a black one. I don't know why. I don't know why i was under the impression that i had a black one. This is what it's looking like, literally with doing that thing, i just put it on to my head um. Now what i'm, what i'm going to do is literally just what i see the girls on youtube doing. Apparently, you only need two ingredients to kind of define the curls, which is some sort of foam. I'M using the tresemme tremus extra hold mousse, it's just what i use for, like my braids and other protective styles to get rid of flyaways and then some water. So what is the water supposed to be doing all right, so i am done putting the mousse in the water. I honestly and i was kind of laughing while i was doing it because, like i said, i'm not a hair guru, i'm not a professional stylist. I don't really know what effect it's supposed to have. I know it's supposed to kind of like make the curls more defined um, sometimes like give it that wet. Look. If you like, put a ton of mousse, i didn't put that much. I just kind of put a decent amount. I'M actually gon na take my scissors. I'M not gon na do a lot here. I'M just gon na trim the bottom a little bit because i have some pieces that are way longer than others. I'Ve seen people do it in a ton of different styles, like i've seen some people put some hair up. I'Ve seen people put all of it down. I'Ve seen some of the fronts some in the back, i'm simple because like for me, it's all about ease. It'S all about convenience right. So if i'm gon na like put something on like this quickly run to the store, um run to an appointment, something like that like i just want it to be easy. So i'm not necessarily gon na stress about, like oh, my gosh, like i didn't put it in like a super serious style. I think it looks so cute down and it's actually cute because it really does like i'll give it to the girls. You really can't say it doesn't look like natural hair. It'S really all i'm trying to get the girls to understand here. The edges look great well, those are my natural edges, but i just love where the headband starts um and that it just really does look like you know. I kind of did a little twist out, i'm giving the girls natural i'm giving the girls very much like got out of bed did like a cute little wash and go anyways um yeah. I think it's super cute. I think it's amazing for people who want the ease, like i said, and um yeah. So what i'm going to do now is i'm going to leave i'm going to go. Do my makeup quickly and i'm going to come back kind of do a final review. All right i'll see you guys in a second alright, you guys i am back um. I just went and did you know a little something so real, quick, so so um? I just kind of wanted to give you guys a full kind of final look. Everything has come together so beautifully. I was so scared like just going into this video like i know, i'm not awake group. Can i do the basics absolutely, but um i was like. I know. The whole idea is that it's supposed to be easy, but i still was like. Maybe it's not gon na fit my head, like maybe it's not gon na look good on my face. Shape like this is my first time, like i said having this texture of hair. So i was like oh no nervous, but the three things that i can say for absolute short and then i'm going to wrap this video up one. This is the easiest hairstyle, maybe that i've ever done literally, i put it on my head - didn't have to worry about anything other than my edges when it comes to the front, and it was done like nothing to it like. Yes, i put water. Yes, i put mousse, but that i really have to no, i literally could have left it just as it was. It still looked kept it still looked put together. It has a lot of great volume. Now i'm a volume guru. So if i could critique one thing i'd say, maybe i could use a little bit more volume now. I know there are things especially hair. Gurus know this that you can do to make your hair a little bit more volumized, but i think it's pretty good. The next thing i wanted to say that's awesome is the whole premise of lace in the wigs is the reason that i tend to stay away from wigs like throughout the year like as i'm, changing my hair and doing a lot of different hairstyles. I gravitate away from wigs just because lace, lace, maintenance, gluing it down different stuff. Like that i've lost edges. I'Ve lost like a good chunk of the front of my hair. Even beyond my edges, like horrible things have happened to me because of glue because of lace. So i tend to know: maybe leave it for special occasions or i don't even know when i'm going to do a wig next, we'll see. But um lace is just a problem. So the fact for me, so the fact that you can have a wig that's easy to put on, but that also you don't have to worry about the laces lace. Melt. Melted, doesn't look good, you know, can you see it? Is it um bleached correctly? Is it tinted correctly, like i don't even know what half of those words mean in practice, and it just stresses me out so that's another thing that i love no lace, no problem. The last thing is that i love that the texture is so kind of close to um. Now it's not close to my hair texture in any way shape or form my natural natural hair texture, not even close, but it's natural appearing. So it kind of looks like hey. Maybe you know you got that's three b, i don't know the threes. You know the number three a three b i all i know is that i have four c here. I just don't know what the other ones really look like. I need to refer to a chart, but it looks like you know you got like three a3b hair. You know you let your hair out for the girls. You know you did a natural day like that's what i love so much about it like. It really does look so natural and i think that that's unique, because a regular straight wig is never gon na look natural necessarily. Maybe if you get like a kinkier afro texture, but it's never going to look as natural as something that's, curly and kinky like this. So that's another thing that i really really love and yeah. Just in general, you can be convenient, i'm all about convenience, i'm all about fast, especially if i have to do my hair myself because, like i will do these over-the-top complicated styles when i'm getting my hair professionally done. But if i have to do something, maybe it needs to be easy like we, we can't like, i will literally be in the bathroom crying over the most simple hairstyles. That'S why i only do on myself like crochet styles, um, very low maintenance like uh slicked down styles, ponytail styles, things like that and that is it like. I cannot help you with anything else baby. I can't help you don't know it so until the gates are opened and this lockdown is over and i can go get my hair done again. I love being able to experiment with protective styles that are easy for me yeah. So i wanted to just encourage anyone out there who thinks: hey, i'm not gon na hair.
