It does say heat tip up to 400 degrees, but it also comes with these gorgeous curls. So i'm not sure. Maybe you might be able to put the heat up there just to flatten the top. I just use a brush and some um hairspray to get it to lay just a little bit flatter. The color that i have concealer in is dr2 hazelnut. I was trying to adjust the curls on this unit, but i did have to use some mousse because i did not want it to get excessively big and frizzy. So i learned this little trick that if you put some on there it it's going to help it's not going to make it. You know, look so dry and frizzy doesn't have a left side. Part. The lace is hd transparent. It is big head friendly, very beginner friendly. All i had to do was cut the lace and brush the top with some hairspray, and that was it so i would say it's very beginner friendly.
