Hey guys, what's up it's queenie here, i hope you are doing well. Thank you for clicking on this. Video today is going to be all about a protective style that i wanted to share with you guys i just finished taking out my knotless braids um, to give my hair a bit of a break, and now my hair has been washed, conditioned blown out actually and Put into four braids to go under this new unit, so lace fronts have not been a thing for me, so my hairline is thriving right now um. So this unit is a headband wig, the headband wig version of this new style, which is a mixed textured unit. So it has loose curls tight, curls like in between curls. It is a coily unit that has a mixture of different curl patterns. So we all know that um curly hair is not uniform and i think that's the issue with a lot of these curly units is that they are all just one curl type, which makes it look a little bit more wiggy. So with a lot of recommendations - and you know i guess - suggestions from curly girls - her given hair was able to come up with this solution which, as you can see, has loose curls small curls, medium curls. You can see all the different types of curls in there which make it look the most natural you can see all the different curls there's a like bigger ones, really tiny, zigzags and then there's some waves in there, which is exactly like my hair. I have some waves at the top, some coil coils zigzags on the sides and some really nice curls in the back, like it's just all over the place and that's what makes my hair look natural look, unique and look. You know different, so obviously we're gon na put this on play with it and see how it comes together. It is a headband wig with clips inside um and the velcro band at the back. Of course, as you saw that i was able to connect it. I love the length and the shape of this. It'S very similar to my hair, in the sense that it's kind of like a heart shape, so i think this will be a really great alternative. So obviously the first thing that i'm going to do is wet this hair. This is fresh out of the box by the way, so i didn't do anything to it and i'm going to take my misting bottle and in the bottle i have some water and some leave-in conditioner, and then i just spray the hair and work it through. As i would my regular hair, but i don't want it to be too wet because i kind of like the way it looks on its own, so i'm just kind of bringing it to life, but i don't want to you know, have it be soaking wet and Then have to wait for it to dry again, so you guys can see the different textures are giving it that little bit of frizz that natural hair has there's this perfect mixture. That makes it look very natural and because it has all these different patterns. This is probably the closest to my own hair wig that i have so obviously i'm going to style it the same way. I just you know, make sure it's nice and wet and defined, and obviously this is a lot easier than dealing with my own hair because it comes very well defined on its own, so you don't have to use much product, so you can still use this as A protective style you can still make it look very natural without having to use as much product as you would on your real hair, because it is already partially styled for you. So after i add in my water and leave-in conditioner i like to go in with some curly mousse, some thick mousse. This is going to get rid of any frizz. If you need, obviously there isn't much frizz here, but i'm just using this to kind of keep it together. So then, when i go out through the day, it'll still stay very much neat and frizz free. I like to use a lot of mousse to be honest, but you don't have to use much it'll still look natural still look defined. This is why i don't like to wet it too much, because i already like the curl pattern without it being soaking wet. So i just work that in and then that is basically it to add a little bit of extra definition. You can go in with some wet line, gel or eco styler. Any gel that you know will not be flaking in your hair and you just go through rake it in define the pieces in the front, preferably or in the back just laying over top. So then you have a nice mixture of oh, my gosh. Look at that! Sorry guys the texture on here is crazy. It looks exactly okay, maybe not exactly like my hair, but very very similar in the sense that there is just different curl types going on, and i just i didn't realize how much we needed this. I didn't realize how much of a difference it would make if wigs were made this way. So now it looks even more natural and i'd. Even i didn't even know. This is what i was missing. Look at that there's waves, there's coils, there's zigzags like this is real hair. This is what natural hair is all about, so i'm loving it i'll. Let you guys take a look closer and then let's try on some different headband styles and see how it looks with this unit. The first way i usually wear these units are just with a plain black wig. I like this one specifically because it's a little bit thicker and i feel like it, gives me more of a winter vibe because it has that material. It covers your ears. It covers your edges a little bit more because it's kind of wide and it kind of goes with everything. So, instead of just leaving the plain black band, i can put this one on push it back and it looks great i feel like it gives me a little bit more protection on my edges and, like i said it's a little thicker a little warmer. So it goes with the season and obviously you can flip it to the side and wear it in a side part. But personally i prefer to wear it in a middle part and then, of course, i like to you know sometimes style it with a colorful scarf. I tie it from the bottom, going upwards, bring it to the top, and then i tie the knot in something cute, so i do it that way going upwards. So then i can make a bigger. You know knot at the top that kind of switches it up. A little bit, if that makes sense, you guys see what i mean, so you can kind of just play with it, make it into a bow, make it into a nice like ball and tie it, pin it together, whatever works, and then sometimes i also like to Wear my scarves over top like this, usually when the hair is a bit longer, but this still works you just kind of secure it. On top make sure it's nice and tight and in the right position, that's like low enough and then you just tie it and then you're good to go. You have your head covered and it still looks kind of cute, a little dressy and yeah. That'S it and then the last thing i like to do is wear the scarf in front going back. I guess you could say, tie a nice knot at the neck and then pull the scarf forward to. You know bring attention to the scarf, and usually i like that to match my outfit, and that is basically it. So those are the few different ways i like to style this unit with different headbands and just for fun, i like to make sure it matches my outfit in some way, whether it's the color or the style of the headband. That'S what i love about these units. They'Re, versatile they're natural, you can kind of add something to it to make it match your mood. So this is it for this video. This curl pattern this wig, this everything is so perfect. It looks like if i were to do a wash and go and my hair was a little bit longer. Let'S be real, but i will leave all the details in the description down below, so you guys can check it out. Let me know what you think: is this not the most natural wig you have ever seen on me. I think it is so comment down below subscribe thumbs up, and i will see you guys in the next one. Bye
