Kinky Curly Natural Hair Amazon Headband Wig| 100% Human Hair| Ft. Msfan Hair Company

Hello, hey guys, amber elise here, welcome to and welcome back to my channel where you can find all things, hair, makeup and product review related. So in today's video i am going to be reviewing another headband wig from another amazon company by the name of miss fan. So, as always, i'm pretty much just going to be showing you guys what came with the unit as well as what i'm going to be using to work with the unit. So, as you guys can see, i did go ahead and remove the tuck combs and i'm showing you guys the seam ripper that i used in my previous video. I did show you guys how exactly i go in to remove those if you are interested. So here i'm pretty much just going to be showing you guys what the unit looks like before i do anything to it and, as you guys can see, it is pretty dry at this point. So even though it was dry, it wasn't hard or anything like that. But i did have to go in and work with this unit, so i'm pretty much going to be doing the first half off of camera and then i'm going to go back and show you guys what i did to the first half. So, at the end of this video i am going to actually come on camera so that you guys can see the finished product and i'm kind of tell you guys about the pros and the cons. However, i did forget to rate this unit so out of um. Many of the units that i have um reviewed. This was not one of my favorite ones, it was just you know, it was a lot of shedding like i talked about in the end and um i just i didn't care for how this unit looked but i'll have, to rate it definitely a probably either a Four or a 5 out of 10 just due to the amount of shedding that i got on the first time going through this unit, all right, and so here i'm just showing you again this a strand that came out of the unit as i was going through. Detangling it and pretty much what i did to style, i'm just going to go in with that leave-in and i will have this link down below. I realized that i forgot to show that one at the beginning of the video, so it is by cream of nature. I'M pretty much just going to spray that in and then every time i add a product to the unit, i'm just going to kind of brush it in to kind of make sure i work it into the unit and then once i work that in i'm just Going to be using that meals, curl smoothing and then again, i'm going to go in with the brush to make sure. I work that in and then after that, i'm just going to go in with my extreme wet line gel and i'm going to work that in as well. So my intentions were to actually show you guys the front of my hair doing this, but i um, i actually did it and i forgot to press record. So this is the only part where i'm actually going to be showing you guys me physically working this in, but i pretty much did this exact same thing all over the unit and now here, of course, i'm just showing you guys what it looks like once. I'M done like i said this wasn't one of my favorites. It does look pretty thin to me, but i just wanted to go ahead and show you guys what it looked like all right, y'all, so we're going to just go ahead and get straight into this, because there is a lot to break down about this unit. So, as you guys saw at the beginning, this is a unit that was sent over from a amazon company. Miss fan and it was a human hair, 12 inch, natural hair, headband wig. So i wanted to kind of come in a different area so that you guys can kind of really see what the unit looks like. I am going to kind of turn around so that you guys can see the hair up close, but i just wanted to go ahead and start talking to you guys about the pros and the cons. So i'm going gon na go ahead and get the pros out of the way the hair was 100 human hair. It was extremely soft, didn't come with any smell or anything like that and believe it or not. Even though the cons that i had it was still a decent unit to work with, like i said it was actually a hundred percent human hair, so you guys can see now that it did curl back up after i um kind of went through and brushed it To detangle it and like i said it was soft and it didn't come with any kind of weird smell, so another pro that i will mention about this is that i do actually like the curls a lot and this unit actually dried down pretty easy. So i did go in and spray the hair, i didn't drench it or anything, but i did give it enough water so that i would be able to kind of go through it without pulling out any other extra excess hair. While the hair was dry - and i really did like the curls that i was able to get back, however, like i did show you guys that i did have to go in with a leave-in went in with the curl smoothie by real organics, and then i went In with my extreme wet line gel because the curling cream on its own did not do enough to get the curls back so overall, the curls are very nice, so that is definitely another pro. However, i want to go ahead and start talking to you guys about the current, so first things. First, when i initially started manipulating the unit immediately, the hair began to shed. So i just had these little breakaway pieces that were kind of falling all over my bed. So i am natural myself and i'll also go ahead and pop a picture of my natural hair somewhere here on the screen, so i was not intimidated when i initially kind of started working with it and kind of saw how it was kind of um. I guess you could say kind of in a fro. I do my natural hair all the time and i'm very familiar with how to do my natural hair, so there wasn't any hurdle or anything that i had to kind of get over. Obviously it is a natural hair unit, so immediately like i said, i saw a lot of breakaway pieces falling onto my bed and, as i began, to kind of go through the hair. At times there were strands that actually started to come out of the unit completely. So that was definitely a um con for me, because i couldn't use this unit as a long-term unit, because half of the hair is falling out. The first time i ever even manipulate the unit. So the second thing that i want to say is that if the circumference of your head is probably greater than 22 to 22 and a half, i do not believe that this unit will fit you, because i have the 22 inch circumference wig stand that i use And when i put this on my head, it was actually just enough room and when i say just enough, i mean barely enough room for me to really go in and snap the two adjustable straps together and also go ahead and attach the headband straps. So i don't like that this hair isn't one of those ones that i would kind of feel safe going out in just because, if i kind of tug any by mistake or something like that, i am afraid that it may slip. So that was another thing that i noticed upon putting the unit on so finishing off with the cons. The only thing that i can really just harp on a lot that really made this unit very um. One of those units that i couldn't say is one of my favorites is because of the amount of shedding that i got. I was just very, very not pleased with it. I know curlier units usually have shedding. However, this was entirely too much shedding, especially if i wanted this to be a unit that i you know of course, planned on keeping for the long run. There'S no way that i could do that, because the way that this unit was shedding there wouldn't be much hair left on the unit after a while. So i'm just gon na you know wear this for the purpose of reviewing this for you guys, but i don't plan on really wearing this unit out or anything like that. So that's pretty much everything that i have to say about the unit i'm going to go ahead and get up close of this, so that you guys can actually see what the unit looks like now me. So i'm not sure if you guys noticed it, but in the back i also noticed that it does kind of go from being fuller towards the top and middle to being kind of thinner at the end. So that was just another thing that i wanted to point out, but, as you guys can see, the curls did come back very nicely and, like i said even now, with all the product that i did add, the hair is actually still pretty soft. So that's pretty much the review on this um curly headband wig from miss fan, which is an amazon company. So that's pretty much going to be the end of the video.
