Headband Wig Over Locs: Install And Review

Again, imma break everybody. What'S up hey, it's your girl, it's chrissy the shay back with a new video um. We are trying something different today, y'all. We are trying something a little bit different today, um, first and foremost. Hopefully my quality is still looking pretty good. I cannot find my camera for the life of me. I don't know where i mean. I got an idea where it is, but i have not um. I don't know, i don't have it with me. So um i'm recording off my phone right now. So hopefully it still looks clear and everything but um. Besides that we are coming to you. I am coming to you with a new video doing something i've never done before um, and that is i'm going to be trying a headband wig over my locks. I have never i've, never worn a wig. I haven't wore like weave like a sew in since, like 2014 last time i got my hair sold in um was my wedding day in 2014., so yeah yeah, that's uh, that's a little different for me, so um yeah and now i have locks and the most That i've done with these is like put um put braids over them. So i don't. I don't know how this is gon na turn out, because i don't even know how to put on a wig to be honest with you, i'm not really a weak type of person, but i wanted to try some different stuff outside of braids, because the braids are Not that, like they'd, be looking cute, but i've tried them twice and the first time it was way too heavy and the second time she did them bigger, but it was way too tight. So it was like killing my scalp. So, in order for me to switch it up, i went ahead and got a headband week, something that hopefully i can do myself and i don't have to pay anybody to put a wig on me because i don't know how to put a wig on me. But this is the wig that i got this is it's a it's an 18 inch um i've got it from love me hair. I'M sure everybody has heard of love me hair because they are all over youtube. I did my research before purchasing just to see if i'm going to like it, the quality of the hair things like that, and then i've done a lot of research on feedback on women. Who'Ve done it with locks and put it over their locks and see how it turned out as well. So, as you can see, i don't have like the longest of luck so putting like all my hair into a ponytail or something might not be the easiest, but we're gon na work. This thing out, okay, so this is where we at right now so um like. I said love me here: 18 inch, um, it's wavy. As you can see, it's wavy, it's a very good texture, very soft um yeah. So i'm excited to give this a try. Let me show you everything that it came with so the week the wig itself came in this nice mesh bag. It was perfectly protected um. It came with this cute card y'all, please forgive me. I know i'll be looking at the cam at me and not at the camera and then um. It comes with this little pamphlet on like returns and refunds, and things like that. So if you got questions they got answers um and then it came with. Of course, a wig cap which is much appreciated, then it comes with this little pouch and in the pouch comes um an edge brush a cute edge brush. It came with the um like a little edges, wrap you know when you want to lay the edges came with that. We came with tweezers. I don't know if i'm gon na need tweezers, since it's a headband wig, so i thought you only needed tweezers when you need to like pluck the the hairline and it's a headband wig. But i appreciate the tweezers anyway, because your girl always losing her tweezers and then it came with um. Some um hairpins bobby pins came with some pants um and then it came with this cute love me hair, clip as you can see so super cute. Oh, so last but not least, it came with multiple different headbands, so i absolutely love that for us, okay with multiple and i'm dropping everything, multiple different headbands, so that you can switch it up on a daily. So these are all of the headbands very good quality. Headbands not cheap, not you know thin like these are really good quality, headbands, so um. I can really appreciate that so yeah, let's get started, i'm going to speed through me trying to put the weight, the um wig cap on and me doing my baby hairs and then we'll come back with the application of the headband wig. Okay, okay, here we go. This is so different for me. Oh it comes with two. I don't know my heat is my hand. Okay, let's try this uh, okay, all right. Okay, all right! Okay! So hopefully this looks decent um baby hairs are slicked okay. So this is what we're looking like before before the wig. Here we go. Let'S give this a try. All right, y'all here, go i'm a little nervous that i'm about to mess this up. Okay, all right! I think we've got it on there. I only put the um the back combs on. I didn't put the side cones on here. We go do my best to try to okay, okay, okay, okay, it's on it's on, we secure we in there; okay, that's how it's looking so far, all right and i'm going to put on the pink headband, because pink is my favorite. Hopefully i'm doing this correct. Okay, wait: wait! Okay! Here we go yes! Okay! I don't know, i don't know how to feel y'all like is it? Is it me? Is it not me like? I need i need opinions like. I love the texture of the hair and everything, but i don't know like like: does it does it or does it not fit me? That'S the question i have, does it fit me or does it not? I don't know, i don't know how i feel hold on yeah, i'm gon na comb it out like brush it out and just make it a little more fluffy, then less defined, and then i'm gon na come back and i'm gon na show y'all and see if That'Ll be a little bit better hold on one second, okay, so i combed it out. I did a little half up half down a little. You know so this is this is what we looking like after, like brushing it out real good um. Okay, okay, you know. Okay, i'm off with it: okay, okay, a box with it, i sweetie. What are we thinking, ladies? What are we thinking? Let your girl know how you feeling about it. Okay, i don't know what's the name or like which one of the um headband wigs this is, but i promise you i'm gon na link it down below. If you want to do this, one um, it does come in different lengths, of course, but this is the um. I don't even know like the the color, i'm feeling like it's a 1b. I feel like it's a 1b but i'm not 100 sure um, but yeah. Your girl is rocking with it i'm rocking with it. You said what huh excuse me who me what you saying so now keep in mind y'all. I'M short, i'm short, so this is a. This. Is an 18 18 inch. So if you, you know, i'm saying it's gon na look a little longer on me because i'm sure so keep that in mind. I'M i'm 411.. So i don't know if you can really see it, but i'm 411. So this is how long it looks on me as an 18 inch. So just keep that in mind just so um, yes, overall, i love this like. I do not think i kept you know, psyching myself out, like it ain't gon na look right on me, whatever, whatever i'm doing too much, i don't think it's gon na look right on me, but okay, now i'm getting my hair tang you're, getting hair tangled to The hair tie okay but yeah, but yeah i'm rocking with it i'm rocking with it. I like it. I like it it's going to take some definitely getting used to because, like i said, i have not worn. Oh, i've never worn a wig, but i haven't worn a weave in like years. Well, you know what i'll take that back. I think they better take that back. I did have a wig, a wig, not a synthetic hair wig, but if you go back like back back back to like the beginning of my youtube um, i actually did have a like little wig that you know you put combs in whatever. So i haven't worn a additional hair, but i haven't i've, never worn one like this. This is i, like. I'M obsessed, i'm loving this like it's, it's so cute yeah, i'm rocking with it i'm rocking with it. I am i like it better, like combed out where it's just wavy um like brushed out and stuff, but i'm rocking with it. I fox with it. Definitely okay, your girl is feeling herself next thing. I'M about to start. You know dabbling in the uh in the lash arts cause. I don't do that either. I know i'm a different breed y'all. I don't. I don't wear makeup. I'Ve tried it don't get me wrong. I'Ve tried it. So you can't. You will see videos from like back in the day where i've had makeup on, but i have not worn makeup like a full face, and lord knows how long so i can't even do makeup um no makeup. I don't wear lashes. I don't do my eyebrows. I want to start doing my eyebrows because they looked uh. They look untanged but um, no lashes, no brows, no makeup, no colorful lipsticks. I just literally stick to my clear glosses: no weaves i either wear braids or or rock my locks, so i'm trying to dabble because i really like i'm sorry, y'all i'ma, get into a quick little emotional speech, but i really have not been feeling like my prettiest. You know what i'm saying like i've been with the weight gain and everything i'm going to show you how my body right now, because i got deodorant on my pants and i got on black leggings. You know i don't look right, but with the weight gain and like my face has been breaking out real bad, you can see all my dark marks and stuff. I just the confidence has just been down, so i'm really trying to do things to really uplift. My confidence in myself and just get back to just loving me, so i love this. This is this is the start in the right direction, but your girl is finna just like not switch up everything, because i still want to remain me. I still want to be me, but i am going to like switch up some things about myself that you know whatever so y'all keep keep keep uh tuning in, because i'm gon na do like um. I'Ve switched up like my whole morning, routine and um. I'M gon na do it like for a week straight without stopping that's my biggest thing. I always like stop, but i'm gon na do my morning routine my new morning, routine, a week straight and just see how i look and feel by the end of the seventh day, so i'll keep y'all posted on that. I'M gon na probably record that and um yeah, but otherwise thanks for tuning in guys um yeah. I absolutely love this wig, i'm feeling it. I have not worn like long hair in so long, so this is different for me, but i'm feeling it i'm loving it. I'M rocking with it. So yes thank you for watching my video. Let me just go ahead and give a little whirl, so i'm gon na i'm gon na do that and that's what i did and so i went ahead and ordered the wig and i've had it for like a week now. But today i'm like, let me get up. Let me stop being lazy. Let me record this video, so we can get it up. If this will be up today is currently sunday sunday may i want to say 14 or may 15. may 16th. My back today is sunday may 16th, so y'all will see this video tomorrow, which is monday may 17th, so because i'm go ahead and i'm going to go ahead and um edit and upload this video today. So that is up tomorrow. But yes, yes, i also have a um try on haul, but i'm trying to bait. I think you know what i'm gon na say. What i'm gon na do. I ain't gon na say what i'm gon na do, but it's gon na be different. I'M gon na switch it up, but yes, try on haul coming soon, so i hope y'all tune into that and uh.
