I have to be honest when i saw it in the box. I had this wig for a while now i may be late to the 40. when i first saw it in the box. So now let's go ahead and get into the packaging on the wig and what the wig looks like and how we're gon na apply her all that type of stuff. What i, when i get presto nails, i don't know how to act. It comes in the orange xrsbeauty hair box and inside the box. Of course you receive your wig now. I ain't done nothing to this wig. This wig is supposed to be low, customization, so we'll see what she gets, but inside the wig. Of course, i received some gifts now some gifts that you receive and the gifts that i receive may be different, but i just wanted to let y'all know what i got so i have the wig cap a wide tooth comb necessary a detachable elastic band, a baby Hair brush another wig cap and some, what do you call these perm rods, foam, rollers, perm rods, foam, rollers, they're, so colorful, though now let's go ahead and get into this wig. This is the unit. So this is the 13x6 layered edge single knot straight hair wig. This wig is pre-plucked with baby hairs, the length is 18 inches and it is 150 density. Now it looks like they have bleached the knots as well. They did bleach the knots and they added this fake scalp on the inside. I'M gon na tell y'all right now. I'M not really a fake scalp fan because the skin tones just be. You know what i'm saying i'll see. What this one looks like as y'all can tell it is pre-plucked. Like the girlies said single knots i'll show y'all a graphic. They provided me with a graphic of what single knots is, but i've talked about this before a single knot would be like one hair from what i understand. It'S like one hair and not it. If you do multiple hairs in a knot, then girl you'll end up with these really thick knots and it starts to give ant heel vibes. You know what i'm saying a lot of y'all that know: xrsbeauty hair, they specialize in clear lace this ain't, clear lace, baby. This is regular lace. Is it regular lace? I don't think this is hd either. I don't know why. So this is regular brown lace. As you can see, this lace, is you can't really tell from here, but this lace is brown. It'S like a brownish gray got ta, be honest with you, it's a little bit more gray, so i may add a little bit of lace tint, because i feel like this ain't gon na be given what it's supposed to gave for my skin tone. So these are the braids. The wig came with some braids in it to show off the single knots they braided baby. I don't know who was there at the factory girl, but the girls is brain. Look at this braid, it's real cute! Oh yes, i think i may take this braid out to see what it's going to give, but now let's go ahead and do our base and apply the wig. All we're going to do is maybe tint the lace and apply the wig. This supposed to be one and done, and then we may style the hair with. I want to show you what it looks like with the braids and without the braid y'all know. When i do my base, i'm basic i'm that girl that can't be doing too much, because my wigs don't be looking right. Why am i closing my eyes? I know some of the girls do well cat methods or some girls don't do any at all, which i think is smart as well. This is a wig grip just to keep my wig on, because girl, okay, okay, let's plop! Oh, this is cute. I love a good braid. Oh yes! Oh that's! Nice! Oh that's! Nice! Oh! That looks nice okay, so i don't think i'm going to do a wig cap. I don't think i need to see the fake scalp starts back here. So this part up here. What are we gon na? Do i need to just flatten this hairline backwards, so it's just customized to go back. This hair is really soft, i'ma flatten this hair backwards on this side, so we can get a good view of the hairline and then we're going to move into tinting the lace and getting the base of this wig looking more realistic. So we can just move on. After that, so i'm going to take our mousse. This is the shea moisture, wig and weave flyaway rat mousse and we're just going to go ahead and flatten the hair backwards. Okay, just flanny the libby, i'm gon na. Add the mousse just a little bit just a little bit of mousse onto the hairline just to mold it backwards. I have y'all seen me do this before i'm sure y'all seen me do this many times, so i like to mousse the hair backwards and kind of get the hair to flatten. Am i making sense right now? Do i say i'll draw cause, i'm not! I'M gon na take a baby, hair brush and just brush the hair backwards, because after this we about to flatten this hairline, so it looks super duper, realistic, y'all. I haven't worked with straight hair in a long time, so we'll see what she gives in order to flatten this hairline and get it to be directed backwards. I like to use a blow dryer and a fly away. What is this? This is the fly away attachment. You also can use your blow dryer or you can flatten with a rapid strip and just flatten it on the hairline and that'd. Be it, but i love using this fly away. Attachment y'all, know me and dyson. We like these. No, we like this. We not like these. We quit running my mouth, i'm running my mouth so much because i'm a little bit nervous, huh, so y'all that was quick and easy and y'all see how it flat, oh girl, is shiny. So i'm also going to take my hot comb and i'm just going to hot comb. It backwards just to set the base and then we're going to move on to using our lace. Tint. Now that i've flattened the hairline, i'm going to re-flat and again do too much y'all know like i do, i'm just hoping i'm not going to burn my head, because i don't have my wig cap on pray. For me, this is the end, this hot comb and i'm just going to flat iron the hair backwards. Now, when i flatten my hairline, i like to do it with over my wig grip, so i don't burn myself, but i'm flattening it backwards, so we can get a better view of what we're working with and girl. I feel like my biggest issue, is going to be the lace, so we're gon na see what happens there, but let's go ahead and i'm just gon na flatten. This, oh see see girl, i'm sweating right now, just hit my ear see. That'S why i'll be playing hot comes now. All we have to do is tint this lace and then apply the wig. I'M going to use one of my favorite lace, tints, i'm going to use the flawless illusion by calendaring lace, tint spray. Now somebody had just said that they ordered this lace, tint spray and they haven't gotten it yet now i just ordered some as well, so i want to see if i get it, i don't know what's going on with the shipping like as far as the product, I like it, but if the shipping is off, i don't know you know what i'm saying in the meantime. I just have this much left. I put it in my little travel bag. So i'm going to go ahead and use the lacing spray. Take the wig off. Oh girl, my hair, is just i probably need to put on a wig cap, because my hair is just all over the place back here and i'm just going to spray it into the cap. And then i'm going to take my my brush a fluffy brush and i'm just going to blend it into the lace and then blow dry it on high heat with the blow dryer just to set in the color. I am going to be tinting this as well. I'M just going to tint all of it crossing fingers toes girls girl. We once you once you start tinting. You can't go back! So, let's pray, i'm going to go spray it off to the side, because this stuff is messy and then i'll blow dry. It and stuff on camera: okay, okay, so this is what it looks like with the wig cap, not my wig cap telling on my teeth, girl, my wig caps, really don't care about me, trying to look that natural out here they really don't hold on. Let me see if i can move this back, just a tad you see. Can you tell right here? This is where the wig cap is, and this is where the uh false the fake scalp is. It looks a little different, different right there. Don'T it anyways girl, we're gon na move on we're gon na cut off this lace and see what happens? Okay, so i'm about to cut off the lace now y'all know how i cut off my lace down the middle down the side down the other side. Now, okay, so i may have to cut off a couple of these front hairs, because the hairline is a little bit strange. I try and create my own hairline, so we'll see not the hair being stuck in there. Oh there we go okay, let's do the same thing on this side, so next we're going to go ahead and apply the wig. This is what it looks like after cutting the lace i'm a little bit. Hopefully it melts into the skin because it looks like right now it's going to melt, but it's regular lace. We will see, but i pulled my wig cap back. I tried pulled the wig cap back just so it doesn't have that line of demarcation in the front. So hopefully that worked, so i'm gon na use the wig dealer spray to apply the wig, i'm just gon na spray it onto the forehead like i just did and then wait till it gets sticky then apply it. Okay, let's i was still wet dang it. Okay! Here we go okay, oh my forehead look short front girl brand, it looks short. Okay, the lace is blending a bit okay, so i'm gon na take the end of a rat tail comb and just kind of melt this down and make sure it's staying where she's supposed to stay. Okay and i'm gon na do the same thing on the sides and see if i can melt it down. So let's go down the sides. My i feel, like the hairline, is kind of hair lining, but kind of not so we need to go ahead and do baby hairs. Obviously, let me show y'all what it looks like. Let me pull it back. Okay, so that's what it's looking like when you pull the wig back, so this is what the hairline looks like. Let me do these baby hairs, real, quick, okay. So, in order to do my baby hairs, you already know i like to do my baby hairs in the same area like right here. I'M gon na go ahead and clip this hair back and then i'm just gon na cut down y'all know i, like short natural. Looking baby hairs, oh girl, i don't i don't lost the baby hairs where they go, so i'm just gon na spray, i'm gon na spray, my baby hair brush with the wig dealer spray and i'm just gon na lay it down. Oh okay, oh that looks nice. I like that, so i'm going to keep doing that i'm going to do that on the ear tabs as well. The ear tabs is worthy. I get tripped up friend the ear tabs. The ear tabs be doing them, see my ear. Tab then came up. All of it is coming up. Oh my god. That'S so annoying trying to get this ear tab laid back down because it popped up like my ear tabs, always pop back up. That'S gon na have to work like this okay. So now i'm just gon na go ahead and cut down the baby hairs. I need to quit using my wig yeah spray, because that's my good spray, so i'm gon na use my ors ors super hole. Wig grip spray to lay down the baby hairs. Okay, so the wig is applied. It is melted down. I took a girl. I took a lot of time to make sure she was melted and get them baby hairs. Hairstyle! Oh, that was hilarious to me. Well girl. I guess she wanted to come off, i'm not gon na fight with her. This is what it looks like after i guess girl. Let me show it to you now, because she don't want to be on my head. So this is what it looks like in the back just with me applying the wig, nothing else. I think i want to straighten it yeah. I think it'll be cute straight, so i'm going to straighten it, but i think i want to trim the ends. Just a little bit, and maybe i should leave it alone - i don't know just a little bit y'all see i feel like. I want it to look just a tad bit: thicker, okay, so i'm gon na take my scissors and i'm gon na just cut it oop. Oh, my god, my hands are shaking it's the tea, it's the green tea. Now i'm gon na trim into it. Just so it doesn't look so blunt yeah. My hands are shaking so bad. Oh, my god, okay how's! It look now girl the same. I'M gon na go ahead and straighten the hair, so i just want it straight straight. I don't want to do you know too much. I don't know how i'll be doing in order to straighten our wig we're going to use our t3 flat iron. I'M just going to go ahead and straighten this out girl and make it simple dimple, and that's it. I'M just going to go through small sections. This hair is not really thick at all, so i don't have to worry about working in sections. I should probably put some um heat protectant on it. Huh i'm gon na put a little bit of heat protectant on the hair. I'M gon na use uh tresemme keratin, smooth heat, protectant girl. I only got so much so i'm not really worried about it. I'M just going to spray all most of the product that i have on here. Okay, so i'm gon na use my revlon one step. Oh girl, this hair, all up in this thing, revlon one step blow, dryer y'all know i love this thing on my natural hair as well as on my wigs, but i'm just going to get some of these crinkle out crinkles out and then i'm just going to Run over it with my t3 flat iron, but i feel like i just want to straighten it with a blow dryer first and this revlon one step is everything so i'm just gon na run through it real quick, so that's been blow-dried. Now i'm just gon na go through and hit it with my t3 flat iron and i don't even know i'm not working in sections girl. I don't have time girl, i'm not even doing this section, so i'm just gon na do big passes. I'M just gon na run it through the girl, hey y'all, it's amira from the future, and i wanted to check in with y'all to let y'all know that i decided to straighten this wig just for you know, i want to see what it was going to give Because, obviously because this has braids in it, you may not wear this wig with the braids in it the whole time you own it. So i wanted to see like what is it going to give after you take these braids out and i have to say i was nicely surprised because with this wig, as you can see, i'm blow drying it with the revlon one step. What i realized was the crinkles from the braids gives it more of a kinky straight texture, and i love that so i decided to go in with my andes, hot comb just to see if i can remove some of those uh little waves, the little crinkles from The braids and after i hot combed it i realized, like oh my god, it's giving kinky straight a little bit. It looks a little bit more like a kinky straight wig. So, after that, i decided to go with my flat iron just to reinforce it and it looked more like a silk press. Now you have to remember the back of the head is still like a silky straight, but at the top. So pretty i love how it looked without the braids. It looked realistic. It looked like really like a silk press. I was in love with it. Y'All take a gander, but i'm going to get back into the review, give y'all coupon code and all that type of stuff at the end. But i want to jump in just to give you a little bit more information all the way, just in case you're, curious to see what it would look like, and it is stunning i loved it. So i'm gon na finish, straightening it and styling it and then we're gon na get back into what it looks like. After all, this is done, but this is a straightened. Look we loved it. Not all the straightened. Look we're going to get back into the cornrows. So i'm going to end the video back with the cornrows with my final thoughts, but this is a little treat for the girlies okay y'all. This is the finished. Look. Look at this. I feel like a 90s video girl. Look how it looks it's so pretty. It'S bouncy and it was so easy to apply now. Let me show you what it looks like in the back too. I don't get. I don't think i showed y'all like the braids like look at the braids hold on hold on. Can you see like these? Are the braids in the back and i'll show you what it looks like in the back after the curls, it looks like it looks like a little silk press yum thing like a little silk press with a little braid down in the front so cute, and it Looks like it reminds me of like when i was in middle school. You know like that sort of hairstyle. Now i'm gon na tell y'all straight up. Oh this light is bright. When i get up close, i want y'all to see like. Can you tell like the lace, because this is regular lace - it doesn't blend into the skin like seamlessly? The lace is like a grayish undertone, so it doesn't really melt into my skin because it's not the same tone of my skin. So it's a little bit of a darker lace and it has a grayish undertone. So if you have like a lighter skin tone than me, it's going to be a little bit harder for you to blend the lace, but i still was able to do it with some lace, tint and some foundation. Some stick foundation on the top to have it blend in a little bit better. All in all, i think the wig still looks cute, it's very flat. It looks like i don't know it's just giving very much 90s hairstyle. I just feel so cute. My final thoughts is, i love the texture of this wig. I think the straight y'all know i'm not a straight textured girl, but the straight texture looks really really cute. I love the throwback sort of braid down and i understand now with single knots. It does look a lot more realistic. It looks more like scalp with the single knots and what they call the layered edge, which means they pre-plucked it for you, so girl. All you have to do is plop on this wig just in case have some lace tint on staff, just in case you know it gets a little rocky in there. You know what i'm saying y'all.
