How To Style A 30 Inch Curly Wig | Start To Finish (Very Detailed) | Alipearlhair

Welcome beautiful people, i am chef b, welcome back to my channel now for today's video we'll be styling and customizing this unit from aliperlhair.com, i'm just showing you guys what i got in my box, so i got some lashes. I got a edge brush, a wig cap, a adjustable elastic band and a satin bag to store my wig now the wig that i'll be wearing today is 30 inches in length. Now this is the fullest hair. I have ever gotten, especially at a length this long. This hair was full, so i'm just showing you guys how the ends of the hair is looking. I did a shed test. I always do that, like straight out of the packaging, i like to run my fingers through the hair to see what it's looking like with the ends. I will need to either use some mousse on there or do a little bit of trim so um. It'S nothing too serious, however, on the frontal itself it kind of looks pre-plucked, but i feel like it's a little bit too dense for my liking, so i am going to bleach the knots and also pluck the hair now i'll, be using quick, blue and volume. 40 developer now i also did a video doing this, so i'm just gon na fast forward, because it was the same day that i did that video um i'm just creating a thick paste to put on the frontal. So you don't want it to be runny. You want it to be as thick as possible, well not as thick as possible, because you don't want it to be too powdery and then the mixture will won't work as it should. So you want to make sure that you get the right amount of thickness. Now i'm just going to dab that on and with this thickness to the solution, it won't seep through the lace and ruin the roots of the hair. However, it will be just enough to stay on top of the lace and bleach the knots and where it needs to be bleached. So i'm just making sure that i get the entire frontal and also to get as much of it as possible all over the leaves, because i don't know at this point if i was going to do a center part or side part. But i wanted to make sure that i could part the hair. However, i wanted it to i wanted to so i left that on for about 15 to 20 minutes or as long as i felt like i needed to so i checked it a couple of times to see um the progress of how it's bleached - and this is The hair half after it's washed and i let it air dry. So you see how big and fluffy the natural curls of this hair is. This is quality hair for it to be 30 inches, because, usually, when you buy a longer length hair, it tends to be thin, especially at the ends. However, this was full straight through. The only thing is that the the um frontal of the wig is a little bit shorter than the rest of it, and i'm just showing you guys my plucking method of how i pluck this and i'm just gon na leave. You guys to see the method that i do now that the plucking is done, or i'm satisfied with how it's looking, i'm just taking some water to re-dampen the hair and i'm using this misting spray bottle to just make sure that i get it as well as Possible then, i'm going to use a big teeth, comb and um comb through the hair, so you can use a denman brush or whatever you want to use, but because of how kinky the hair is, i wanted to make sure that i use a big teeth comb. So that i don't tear out the hair in the wig and then i'm going to use mousse, you can use any mousse that you want to. I like this mousse, it's the three-in-one conditioning mousse and i got it on my beauty supply store. So what i'm going to do is i'm going to add this to the hair, to keep the hair from freezing and also to keep the curls defined. And then i'm going to use this um, styling, serum or rather anti-frizz serum to the hair, because i still want the hair to be big. But i don't want it to be. Like trashed out. I want to make sure that it still stays um, frizz, free or as minimal as possible, so i'm just gon na put that all up in there while it's still wet and then i'm gon na, let it dry naturally now this is how the lace is looking And um, i want the lace to look close to my complexion as possible or as much as scalp as i could get it to and the technique that i've been using is to use um. This nyx finishing powder and i put it on the lace and then i install my wig, so i'm just going to show you guys the method that i use to install my wigs. It'S pretty much the same, so i'm just going to leave you guys to see the technique that i do now that i've removed my excess lace. Some part of the lace is a little bit lifted, so what i'm doing is, instead of spraying the whole got to be freezing spray on the lace and then creating like a shiny look on my forehead. I use my finger. My index finger to um apply some of the the freezing spray and then i type back down to make sure that it's melted using a blow dryer and then i'm going to create a little bit of sideburn just to hide the lace a little bit on the Side, you absolutely do not have to do this if you had your lace perfectly intact or installed, and you don't have any issues at all. You don't have to do nothing, but also, if you prefer, to use sideburns and baby hairs go ahead and do that. So i prefer to have a little bit of something, so i'm just telling the hair how i would like it to look, so i'm just going to create a little bit of something some soup to do action and then i'll complete. My look, okay, beautiful people. This is my final look. This is how the hair is looking once it is fully air dried. I just add a little bit of oil sheen, just to give me a little bit more sheen and shine to the hair as opposed to adding oil which would weigh down. I still wanted it to look soft and fluffy.
