How To Get Free Wigs

So so uh, oh okay, hi guys, hello, hello, um, a bunch of technical difficulties today, for whatever reason, but hi welcome so for this live. I did promise you guys i'm going to talk about how to get some free wigs, because i've received a couple comments. Um from people asking me like how do i get like you know these companies to send me wigs and stuff like that, and i'm like, let me make a video about it. Granted this video is not going to be super long. I chose to do a live. Just in case if people come on and if they want to ask questions, while you know i'm answering and telling you guys how i get wigs because i know that's probably have a lot of questions about this, but it's a pretty straightforward process i would say, but If you guys have seen my other videos about just getting like sponsorships or brand deals or collabs or become a brand ambassador, all of that fun stuff, this all falls under that. So you can go back and check those videos. I will have them linked in the description box just just to make it easier for you guys also. I do want to apologize if i'm giving low energy and just being absent minded, because it has been a very long day. I'Ve been up since 4 45 a.m. It'S after seven o'clock right now i've been at work and came home to do more work, so i do apologize. I am very, very tired right now, but i promise you guys a video or a live really so here i am, but let's just get right into it. So for the companies that have reached out to me and sent me wigs, they are all amazon vendors. So i'm just gon na make that very, very clear right off the bat just because i don't want people to get confused and think i have like these big brands or, like you know, ally, pearl or like i know it was eunice. Are you nice, like you, know those brands sending me wigs? You know these are typically amazon vendors that are reaching out to me and sending me wigs or asking me to do um a collab with them. So, if you're not interested in getting wigs from amazon vendors, this video isn't really for you guys. So sorry, but the advice i give might still be helpful, even if you're trying to get brand deals or collabs with bigger brands - and i would say it's better off to start off small and with you and work your way up. But the way has worked for me. I have not reached out to any of these brands. They all have reached out to me either via email or i've, gotten some dms on instagram. Those are the main ways these companies have reached out to me, and this is because i have my email and my instagram in my description of pretty much every single video that i do post. So if you are posting on youtube, the first thing i will say, definitely put your email in your description box because i always put like you know, for business inquiry or collaborations. That'S my email to reach out to me, because if you know these companies are on youtube and they're searching for people to work with, if they see your email, they know how to get in get in contact with you. So first off. They definitely need a way of communicating with you and, more often than not they're, probably not going to really be commenting under your youtube videos for a collaboration they will try to reach out to you so make sure you're also checking your spam box for your email, Because - and that is why i need to check that, because i haven't checked it in a while, but i definitely had brands reaching out to me and did not know they were reached out to me because the message was going to my spam and you know your Spam, at least for gmail, they delete the message after i believe 30 days, so you definitely want to make sure you're checking it routinely because brands might be reaching out to you, but because you don't really know their email or gmail might think it is like a Bot or not, oh official, like you know, email address, they are unsure, they will send it to your spam, so you definitely always want to check your spam. So there's that and also put in your instagram, because if they have an instagram page, they are also likely to reach out to you on instagram. Once again, if you are on instagram check your spam because for me instagram, i have two um messaging things. My primary and my general because my instagram account is a professional account. So a lot of things will go to my general and i don't see it because it's not my primary or even instagram kind of have like a spam option. So if it doesn't think the email is legit, it goes into like the hidden section. So you also want to be checking there, because i have like gone in on instagram and looked in there, and i had like dms from like different brands, trying to reach out to collab with me. So that's like my first tip is definitely putting your email and your instagram. If you have one in your description or even if you have a facebook account, you can also do that they might reach out through facebook messenger. I haven't had that, but i won't say they won't do it, because they'll probably try to find a way to communicate with you other than commenting on your video on youtube. So there you go also, if you're, not a person who wears wigs in your videos or, if you're on instagram you're, not wearing wigs in the pictures and the reels and stuff that you're posting on instagram. These companies are not going to reach out to you if you're someone who you mainly wear your natural hair, why would a wig company want to reach out to you, so there's also that so, if you're not wearing wigs they're, not going to think you're, you want A wig or you will be willing to collab with them so because someone who reached out to me asked me about this, like is someone i'm like, but you don't wear wigs in your videos. You usually have braids or your natural hairs, i'm like if i, as a company, am looking for someone to promote my product. If you don't ever wear wigs, why would i want to send you a wig to promote it like? I would want to send away to someone who's, always wearing a wig. You know, and people are probably going to want their opinions on wigs because they regularly. You know wear, though, like i'm not going to ask someone about makeup if that person never wears makeup like how are they going to help me if they never wear it same thing with wigs? How am i going to look to someone for advice on like what wig to buy if that person never wears wigs or you know and sell wigs on themselves? So there's also that so make sure you are wearing wigs in your videos. In your reels and like you know, whatever you do like whatever platform you're on, if you want brands to send you a specific thing, make sure you are actually you know incorporating it in the type of content you put forth. So i'm still waiting on a makeup brand to reach out to me because girl i'll be out here, making makeup videos and i'm like i wish someone would send me some free makeup. So that's the dream. You know because makeup ain't cheap. So that's definitely. The second thing i really wanted to make clear and then third, when you do get a collab with a brand, you want to make sure you're being very professional and you're timely with your response. So one thing i like doing is, if i know i'm getting away from a brand, i will let them know when the video will be up, and i usually like i'm like okay, i'm going to order it this because it usually asks you, like you know when You order it send me the order number and all that so they can also ship it out faster to you, but you want to make sure you're being professional. So when you do or if you ever get a collab, you want to make sure you are being professional and you're putting up quality work because then other brands are going to see and they're going to want to send you things. But the way it works with a lot of the amazon brands when they just slowly send you wig is they'll. Ask you to give them like a four or five star review on amazon they'll, usually send you the money as well like via paypal, to buy the wig and then um, and then once you, like, you know, buy like they'll. Send you money you by the way and you review it granted. I only accept wigs that i actually think i like, and my reviews are always honest. That'S why i don't accept every single brand that has reached out to me because there's certain types of whis, i'm just not going to wear like i've, had brands like hey. Are you willing to um? You know review this product for me like we'll, send you money, you'll, buy it and review it, and i'm like i don't like the, and i don't tell them. I don't like the way that looks i'm not going to, but i'm like i'm not interested in that wig or i'm not interested in doing a collab at this time. Because, honestly, yes, you get a free wig, but if you're not going to wear that wig, it's pointless and i'm not going to promote and i'm not going to post anything on here that i truly do not like like. Personally. If i am going to be putting out content, i want to be honest and let me transparent with you guys so any of the the wigs that you've seen me review on my channel. There are actual wigs that i do wear and if you guys follow me on instagram, which my instagram is underscore eternal honesty, so one underscore and then the same as my youtube name, you'll see like i have pictures and even reels with some of the wigs that I have reviewed because i'm not just reviewing a wig like i genuinely do like the wigs i have been sent and i do wear them because i'm not going to take something and just you know like throw it off to the side like no i'm taking it. If i'm willing to accept the collab, that means i have looked at your reviews on amazon, seeing what other people said and i'm like. Okay, i'm willing to try it. You know and when i come on here and give you the feedback, it's always honest, as my name say, eternal honesty. So i will always be honest in how i review things on this channel. But, like i said it's like that's something for me. I haven't reached out to parents, to their friends, they've all reached out to me and that's the only tea i really have for you guys. It'S like really what i said. Putting your email and your method of being content in your description about so friends will want to reach out to you, making sure that you also are wearing wigs. So friends know like you would be interested and really and truly that's the way it goes and sometimes, if you guys want if anyone's really interested, i could probably give you some of the brand names that i've worked with and you and you can try reaching out To them, so that's something you guys think you might be interested in shoot me an email, and i can definitely give you that info and you can try reaching out to those brands to see if they would be willing to collab with you. So my email, as always, will be in the description box of this video and, like i said this was not gon na, be a long video, because i have things i need to do and be a responsible adult, but i just want to come on here and Do the video - because i promise you guys - i would do one and another thing i will say in terms of just like not with the free wigs but just like brand deals in general. Having your email definitely helps with brand deals, because it's not only with companies. You know that have sent me free stuff, i've gotten free stuff from other companies and that's because they see my email and they're like hey. We saw on your youtube channel, we like the content and we want to do a collab with you. So, even if wigs are not or like you know, beauty is not your niche still putting your email and your information will cause the brands to reach out to you. So hopefully this video was helpful.
