Donalove Hair Synthetic Silver Ombre Lace Front Wig Review!

Hi guys it's Cayley, and today I wanted to do something kind of different that I've never really done on my channel before, and that is a wig review, and this is a wig from Donna love hair that I'm going to be reviewing today, so full disclosure. I didn't pay for this wig with my own money. Donna love sent it to me asking me if I would give a review of their wigs, they didn't insist, it had to be a positive review or anything. I just wanted an honest review and, as you may or may not know, if you follow me on instagram, you probably already know that I got a haircut recently and it's my own fault, but I ended up getting much more cut off than I intended that I Wanted - and that was my fault, because I didn't really communicate to the hairstylist well enough, and so as a result, I was kind of going through some stuff and feeling really bad about myself and my hair and really unhappy with it. So I was very interested in trying out a wig to maybe help make myself feel better feel a little more in control of my appearance until my hair starts growing out more so this is the wig I got. It is like a kind of lob. This was originally how I actually wanted my hair cut. I wanted like a lob like kind of angled bob thing, but I didn't communicate that well enough to my stylist, so she gave me like a full-on, really short bob, but this is what I wanted, and I love this style too, with the gray ombre or it's Like you know, black at the roots and it just softly fades on just a beautiful ombre into the silver gray but yeah. I love this style and this is a synthetic wig. Donna love hair also has human hair wigs. They have hair extensions, but I was really interested in trying a synthetic wig and I was really surprised at how silky this wig is. It is very silky and soft. It feels almost like real human hair. It was a little bit shiny, so I washed it and sprayed it with some dry shampoo and I styled it and everything on my little mannequin head right here, just to get it to lay more flat because it did have that kind of like wig puffiness. You get sometimes - and this is a lace front wig, as you can see, I already trimmed the lace off of it and I already like plucked and styled my part. I'M sorry. I didn't really film my process of styling this wig, but this is like the first really nice wig. I'Ve ever had that I've styled myself. So I I didn't really know what I'm doing, I'm sure their wig experts out there who are gon na say, like you know, I did a really crap job on this wig and when I wear this wig and stuff, but it's my first try. So you know there are a million great tutorials out there on YouTube on how to you know, style your wig and customize it so that it looks more realistic and not like you know, a costume wig on the inside. It has. This is what the cap looks. Like and it actually has little combs to keep the wig attached to your head - has Combs clips on either side of the head, and it also has one at the back, and it has one of those adjustable strap things just in case. You know if you want your wig kind of loose or if you prefer it really really tight. You can adjust it there and, like I said, I plucked my lace and added some foundation to kind of create this false part there and make it look a little more realistic. Also, I forgot to mention this is the box that it came in. It is a very pretty box and I like this little graphic on the back it says enjoy, but I thought this was nice. It also comes with like a little card. You know kind of like a business card and on the back, has your personal information like who the wig was sent to what kind of wig it is, and you know the size and all the information about your wig and they also sent a hairnet which I'm Currently wearing and a brush, which I thought was really nice, because just before I got this wig in the mail, I was at like a Sally beauty or something, and I almost bought like this exact same kind of brush, because it's like a gentle detangling brush, which Is really good for wet, hair or wigs, and I always bought one of these. It was like five bucks or something, but I'm really glad I held off, because I actually got one free with my wig and it's a cute little cool brush. So those are all the details. I'M gon na go now and put the wig on style it and show you guys what it looks like when I'm actually wearing the wig. So here's what the wig looks like on me um. I have no idea what I'm doing so like I said. Please forgive me if it just looks horrible and really obviously Wiggy, but I'm learning I'm trying to figure out how to hide the lace and my part and everything to make it less obvious. So if anybody has any hot tips out there, you can let me know, but overall I really love this wig. It'S kind of challenging to wear a lace, front wig. You know without bangs for a first-time wig wearer, but overall, I'm pretty happy with it. I think it looks pretty awesome and, like I said this, has kind of given me more confidence and made me feel better right now, when you know I've had this bad haircut that I don't really like.
