Hi everyone jeans mantle here bringing you yet another tutorial. Today'S video is all about hair styling curling in particular. Now you may say to me James, my hair is just so dull how I make something bagless. I have this straight nonsense. Well, fret not! This is where the art of curling comes in and you may respond back, but James. My hair is all straight. You can't curl synthetic hair and I would say back you're a fool. Of course you cannothing is impossible, except for maybe world peace. Let it go through. So the things you're gon na need you're gon na need things to style. The hair with after you've done your curling. So I have brought out an assortment of different brushes from teasing brushes two combs. You don't need all these. If you're gon na be teasing the hair, any one of these three will do and, of course, we're going to need our heat instrument, I'm using a steamer as well as hot rollers. These tools will help you get that beautiful set. Look that all the drag queens are doing nowadays, as well as things to hold the rollers in the hair. You could use bobby pins as well as curl holders. Add you're gon na need a few types of hairspray you're going to need a wet spray to spray. The rollers, with a little bit when they're cooking, as well as a glue spray to style, the hair with afterwards and, of course, you're going to need something to put your wigs on. So I am using a canvas, wig block. You could use a styrofoam wig block as well, but I wouldn't recommend it considering we're working with heat. You want to make sure you're very, very safe, and you don't want to burn the styrofoam or damage your wig or even hurt yourself. If you can't get the canvas wig head, please get the wig stand, because you don't want to do this on your lap. I assure you it's gon na be really hot you're, not gon na have a good time now stay tuned. While I show you how to curl a synthetic wig, everyone welcome to my tutorial, we're gon na start by tacking down the wig, the wig black, making sure it's secure on there, because we're going to moving this hair around a lot once you had that done, we're Going to section the hair off and brush out any kinks the hair, so that can curl down nice and neatly now taking what these hot rollers be very careful because they are very, very hot. I'M going to tightly wind that hair around the hot roller and tack! It down to the head as solid as possible. You really want to make sure the curl is tight, because the tighter the curl, the neater it's going to look and the more heats going to get inside of the hair and give it a nice permanent set. I'M going to continue doing this all around the crown of the head making sure all the rollers are going in one solid direction direction you place. The curler is going to really determine the outcome of the wig when you take it all out and start to style. It alright I'm going to take the back of the hair and wind that up and just get it out of the way. For now and taking my steamer and a high setting, I'm going to press that over the curls be careful not to go too close to the curls, because if you get too close to the hair, it will burn it. Alright, now that's set we're going to move on to the back of the head using the remaining rollers, I'm going to wind that in opposing direction to the ones on top in a nice neat pattern going along the back of the head. This is how the curls should look so far. If you're going to be doing my setting pattern now I ran out of hot rollers, so I'm going to cheat the rest of it. By using your fingers, you can barrel curl the hair upwards and then using a bobby pin or a pink roll holder. You can stack it onto the head to keep it secure. I'M going to do this for all along the remaining part of the nape of the hair. Now comes time to set it, I'm going to use my steamer on the high setting and go all over the head making sure to hit every curl with the heat by pressing the heat over the hair. It'S going to heat the hair up and heat up the rollers again, making sure that the hair stays into a permanent wave pattern and wait about 10 minutes until your curls are done cooking and now I'm going to take down the hair slowly. Take the curler out of the hair make sure to go with the direction of the curl to not disrupt it and ruin the work. You just did you'll see a pretty ringlet curl come out of this near the end. The wig should resemble shirley temple and tada. You just curled your first wig now, let's ruin it with some teasing using a teasing comb just going to brush that down to a nice cloud of white hair. I know you might be afraid to go through and ruin all these curls you just set, but trust me, you could always reset it. If you want a more in-depth look into how I rat down hair be sure to click the video I linked down below I'm going to take that off and start on our base. Wig prior to filming, I ratted out a lace front. Wig, that's going to act as the base to this wig. I curled the wig with the exact same setting pattern, so they should match up evenly. Be aware of that, when you combine wigs make sure the wig patterns are set the same way, otherwise, you're gon na have two different textures of hair using some bobby pins, I'm going to secure the two wigs together use as many as you need. If you want to learn more about stacking, be sure to click, my video link down below and you'll see my method for stacking hair to get bigger, drag queen hair and you'll notice. Some inconsistencies here with the wigs length the wig in the back is far too long. I'M going to show you how to fix that. You can use your teasing, comb or teasing brush to tease out the length of hair to make it shorter. You'Ll also find that this creates a big bubble of hair and gives you that nice, 60s bouffant look going in and out with hairspray, I'm just creating resistance in that hair rotating between hairspray and the comb. Picking through it to keep the air inside of the hair. That way, it stays large and I'm going to finish it up by dishing it up with a finishing touch, giving it that nice Marilyn flip in the front and just go in back and forth your combing, your hair spray and use your fingers to to really judge The wig, the way you want to look and using a bobby pin in the front I'm going to secure down part of the hair for the bang just to make sure it stays flat. Because I want that Marilyn bang to really hold its shape and just go in with your fingers and some hairspray and do your finishing touches and you're done. Welcome back here's! The final result: it's my male Monroe out of Bellevue hair. It'S a little glamorous and a little bit crazy. All at the same time, I hope I helped boost your confidence even the tiniest bit in curling synthetic wigs. It'S not impossible any problem. This world can be solved with just a little back combing and some hairspray. Don'T forget to Like comment subscribe. Let me know down below what you want me to do. Next, I am listening.
