Yes, guys welcome back to head and DIY welcome back to my channel your One Stop Shop for advice, tips, information, discounts, reviews interviews if that tickles your fancy. It'S on my channel. Thank you for stopping by thank you for coming back to my subscribers. If you haven't subscribed yet and if you want to you don't have to, but if you want to, please do hit that subscribe button whack the Bell. It will notify you every week when I make new content for you guys. This video is sponsored by levivid. So please do check out their website if you want a system like mine. This is a levivid hair system. This is a custom. French lace remember with custom systems. You do have to wait a bit longer than getting a normal stock system. So if you want this, one, for instance, the French lacer custom, they offer it in stock as well. I'M gon na whack the link to this in the description box below alongside the 15 discount code. So please do make sure you Avail of that right. That'S the promotion stuff done. Let'S talk about the content, this video, which is the looped bases versus single knot bases now this is in relation to poly bases. So if you're, a poly, wearer or you're thinking of getting a poly or you're brand new to this world and you're thinking, what system do I go for? This might be helpful to you because I'm going to basically look at each method and basically weigh up the advantages and the disadvantages of both. So I'm going to take you onto my computer screen now and we're going to have a look at this. So first up, I think the best comparison to make is when you're, basically using the same bass, to make a comparison but different methods for how these bases are basically formulated. So this is the v-loop version. The v-link version is cheaper for a number of reasons. One is because you can't get it as thick as you want, but also it's more delicate hair comes out easier, so it sheds a lot more easily, not necessarily a lot more easily, but it sheds more easily than a single knotted base. So that will explain why it's cheaper. It is, however, more natural in appearance, so if you're, the kind of guy who liked exposing their hairline, then a v-loop option, a v-link method for the polybase would probably be more appropriate for you. Excuse me just get my coffee down. I got this flask last Christmas and it's brilliant like it can be three in the afternoon and my coffee is still hot. Despite the fact I made it. 9Am is great all right enough of that. So, let's scroll down now you'll notice, there's currently a discount on the levivid hair website. This is a temporary discount, it's 20 off so by the time you're watching this. That discount might not be valid anymore. Please bear that in mind, but I do have that 15 discount code so do check it out, it'll be in the description box below. So please do have a look at that. Look at this guys we're in a Dodgers top I'm actually a Chelsea fan. So anyone who knows anything about like the Premier League and sort of English football know that the guy who owns Chelsea now also co-owns the Dodgers, not a baseball fan myself, but this has kind of got me a little bit intrigued. I sometimes watch their highlights. I still don't know exactly what's going on in terms of the rules of baseball, but it's kind of fun to watch and I've got to say American Sports. You guys do it way better than we do in the UK. It'S a real event. I went to a basketball game a couple of years ago in DC, and it was like one of the best events I've been to ever. In my life. It was incredible right. So, as you can see down here, Mirage is a very popular style among skin Hair Systems. Poly paper all over it offers you a transparent and super thin skin feel now anyone who's been following my channel for a while you'll see. I did make a video on a mirage system that was a v-looped Mirage system, which is what this one is, and it's very, very comfortable to wear. I was wearing it in the middle of summer. We had the hottest summer in the UK on record and it was still super comfortable. I didn't even I was sweating, it wasn't a problem. I'D had problems sweating with skin bases before, but with this one, it just didn't seem to cause a problem. I had it on two weeks at a time, no issues whatsoever and the hairline wasn't too bad either. Actually, so this is the v-looped option. Now, let's have a look at the single knotted version again, look same base, but bit pricier a number of reasons. For that you can. You can get thicker hair, basically with the single knotted version of this particular toupee, The Mirage. I believe it's called yes, the Mirage and it's more durable. It will last longer, but basically it's nice to the base it's to do with the fact that the hair with a single knotted version will not shed as much it's more firmly secured to the base of the system. So that's really worth considering if you're looking at getting more of a lifespan out of the system that you're buying this would obviously be the better option. A little added bonus to this particular system is, it also has v-loop at the front. The v-link technique is used for the front hairline to make it look natural, so you're effectively getting the advantages that comes the v-looped base, which is a more natural appearance. If you want to expose your hairline, but also, at the same time, you're going to get less shedding throughout the rest of the system, and you can have pardon me a thicker head of hair. So this is why it's more pricey hair density is 100 medium light. If you want a reference point for hair density, I'm a 33 year old man, I had to think about that. I'M 33.! When you get over 30, you kind of forget how old you are and you're like my 32. Am I 34 35? Maybe I don't know pretty sure, I'm 33. anyway, I wear a 100 medium light and that density for me, for my age, seems to work. As you can see here, you get three to four months out of this. This is the expectancy now with a V loop system. The expected replacement period is two to three months and I'd even say that, as a push I'd probably say about two months, you'd be looking to need to replace a v-looped ultra thin skin, so you're getting more time out of this and you're. Also getting a more natural hairline personally, I know there's other suppliers out there who just do single knotted versions, but personally that wouldn't be my preference just because the hairline doesn't look near as natural as it were. Um and you know exposing the hairline with that. It doesn't look too great, it's probably best if you have your hair down all the time single knots all the way it doesn't matter because you can get thicker hair, you can be it's more durable, but also you're, not exposing your hairline. So you don't need that natural v-looped appearance, so that's pretty worth considering. There are other supplies out there that do offer that option, but with this one what I really like about it is you just get the best of both worlds. You really do and, as I said last time with the Mirage, I just got the v-loop version. You know in future when I go back to Pollies, I might try this one just because it gives you the best of both worlds. We can have a look. We can identify what the hairline looks like with that vlived option. We can also have an assessment in terms of how long we get out of it and what the shedding is like. So it's definitely definitely something that I'm considering so in summary, important things to remember. V-Looped more natural hairline, however, does shed more easily. However, you don't get as much thickness, necessarily as you'd want in a hair system, single knotted option more durability lasts longer, you can get thicker hair. However, hairline is not as natural. It'S not as good. If you expose your hairline single knots, probably not the best option for you and lastly, if you can find a system which offers both whereby it utilizes the strengths of both methods, I'd say: you're poorly on to a winner. Obviously, Finance has to be considered, but if you can afford it make the most of when companies manufacturers and suppliers make the most of when they're offering discounts on their particular products. Look at national holidays, that's quite often when you get emails sign up to their newsletters because then you'll get emails of when suppliers are basically doing. You know when they're, basically doing discounts on certain products. So, do you keep your ears open, keep your eyes open for those particular emails, because they happen all the time and you don't want to miss out on it, especially when you're spending a lot of money if you're new on this journey and you're still undecided as To whether to get a poly or a lace, I've done a video on that which I'm going to put up on the screen right now in that video. Actually, that was my first system and it was a polyprimeter and a lace base or a lace, sort of middle poly perimeter so, and it was great as a first system so do check out that video, because it might be helpful for you, thanks for stopping by Guys and I'll speak to you super soon take care.

Will: I tend to prefer V loop now for the more realistic hairline. But they have two problems for me. The first is that initially, in week 1 or 2 its really hard to brush the hair up, it wants to swoop downwards no matter what. This actually benefits the system later because it always retains a minor swoop so you dont see the hairline, but its too extreme at first. Another problem with V loops is each single strand shows as 2 hairs on the head because of the V shape, so when you lose a hair, you don't lose one hair you lose 2 hairs visually. Still i prefer it because it looks the most realistic at the front. I think with good management they can last up to 4 months, the trick for V loop systems to make them last longer is to brush much less aggressively, because V loops are pulled out, they don't break like knots do, so aggressive brushing will slowly pull out the hairs.

Chris Mulligan: Hair system looks great, is it new? Love that style, short and neat with little maintenance.

Parkour Somebody: You're looking so good now when the video first popped up I thought it was an ad for Grindr. Yeah I am going to check this stuff out, good video.

champuss: I've been to get fitted out etc...an it's cost £665....do you buy them your self an that to save cash.. as I think its expensive if you keep going backwards an forwards for a clean up hair trim etc....an why does it take so long to arrive I'm told 10-18 weeks max....what's your take on this matter
