Getting My Wig Professionally Installed For The First Time | Afsister Wig Review

Hey guys welcome back to my channel, and today we have yet another wig review and this time something totally different. I tried out a um brownish kind of reddish wig, so this wig is from a sister and it is a teapot um wig. So it is a 13x6 i'm just gon na look down to read the details of the hair, so this is in their new launched. Um brown color number two. So if you are interested in getting it, i will be giving the details in the description box down below. It is a 13 by 60 part lace wig. So it is um. You can stick it all the way around. I did get it professionally. Um customized and also um glued onto my hair, so i will be showing you guys the process of when the hair arrived, what it looked like and then um how we got it installed onto me. I did kind of curl it differently today because i have wanted for one day at work yesterday, so i then re-straightened it and curled it again, and i definitely think it looks so much better today. I really love the color, and i think this is something that's very cute and different on me, because i've always got either black hair or super dark black brown hair. So i guess i'll see you guys next time, hey guys, so i just thought i would come and unbox the hair with you guys just to show you guys what it looks like when you receive it. So it does come packaged in this box and in there the hair is in a net. You get two combs one for your edges and a small tooth comb together with a wig cap. I just thought i'd also show you guys what the wig looked like before. I took it in for customization, so this is what a teapot lace wig looks like and the color sort of changes in the light and in the dark. So at times it's more brown and other times it is more of a reddish color, so um. This is just me when i went in to get it um installed and, as you guys can see she first, we start off by clipping the clips at the back um just to make sure that it is um tightly secured, and then she places it on your Head and um starts to cut the lace um in accordance to obviously your head shape, and she obviously makes sure to cut a little bit just for your ears to make sure that um, if it's a little too big, it fits quite perfectly um for this installation. I decided to go with the ghostbund glue, but you can pick between ghost bond and got to be. Ghost bond obviously lasts a little bit longer, but in terms of that glue, it's a little bit more difficult than to remove than the um got to be glued. So she puts the first layer lets it dry a little and then applies the second layer of the glue which then lets it sit for quite a little bit before pulling the wig forward. And then she just uses the hot comb to make sure that the hair is all the way back, just to avoid um the hair sticking in the front with the glue just so that you have a clean lace once she sticks the hair. So, as you can see, she then moves the hair forward when the glue is tacky and makes sure um that it is stuck on without any hair in the front, and then she also um then cuts just a little bit of baby hairs. You know just to make it look a little natural. Then then she will put the elastic on your hair just to make sure that the hair is fully stuck on and then in terms of the lace. In case it's not the same color. She will just use a little bit of powder just to get it to blend in and then she is laying down the edges with the got to be edge, control and then just making sure that the wig is safely secured. Once again, with the got to be free spray, and then she will go back in with that elastic once again, just to make sure that everything is properly laid, and then we decided to go for a middle part. Obviously, because this is a teapot closure, that's the only way you can style your hair, so she then opened a line used the hot comb just to make sure that the hair was flat. Um and yeah just brushed it out a little bit and then you guys will see um. She will try restyle the hair again by curling it, but as mentioned, i did re-curl it the next day, just to um, get it the way that i usually like it. So yeah this is how the hair ended up.
