White Girl Wig Buying Guide

I hope this answers a lot of your questions about the light lace and where to get wigs. Let me know what you think. thumbs up if you enjoyed it :)

Hey everybody alright! So today I wanted to do a video on like the white girls wig buying guide, because I get a ton of questions about where I get my wigs. What some brands are for the lighter lace and then just if they don't have a wig store around them, where they can get em or what are some good options for wigs online? So first option um you need to choose whether you want synthetic or human hair. So the first thing, I would say, is really figure out: do you just want to play around and figure out if wigs will look kind of good on you or if that's really what something you want to do and you don't want to put a good a Good amount of money into it yet then I would say synthetic um. You can get some decent synthetic wigs that looked very natural, but they do take a lot more upkeep. In my opinion, um, I would say that, after my journey with trying to figure out which wigs I should buy, I probably will never buy a synthetic wig again. I will just buy human hair wigs. They last a lot longer. They are more expensive, but I have never felt that I've better about having a full head of hair on my head, I have to say the synthetic wigs weren't nice I'm just this really feels as natural as I can get to having a full head of hair. Again um, so that is one thing that you need to decide and I'll kind of do another video on how or how to choose between synthetic and human hair. So but if you are thinking synthetic for for lighter skin tone, um and you're not trying to spend a lot of money, ozone or a plus ozone, wigs are very decent. They give you a lot amount of a good amount of lace where you have that parting space, because without that parting space it does not look natural um it on your on your head or when you're wearing it. So make sure that you are looking for about two and a half to three inches of lace, and I find that ozone gives you that amount of parting space. The other brand that I have tried that has the lighter lace is Lord and cliff, and the one that I was wearing in my how to put on a wig video was a shorter length style and it has very nice light lace or light lace on the Wig - and it is about two to two and a half inches of parting space, not as much on that one, but it is a decent amount um, so I would say: go with those types of brands. I have bought the Janet collection. I have bought the free. Try sequel I have bought on. Let'S see what else if I bought, I bought some ebay, wigs as well, and just really didn't get the same um. It just didn't get what I wanted out of those wake just because of the lace color. My bought Model Model Model Model was one that was too dark for me. I showed that in my other video on it looks okay on camera, but it does not look normal in person, and so those are two brands that I would say I would. I would buy again if I needed to buy a synthetic wig so check them out. You can get them pretty much anywhere. There'S lhb there are your local wig store will have the the Lord some of them. I have the Lord and hope. Cliff. I'Ve also seen many many other black hairspray sometimes has Lauren cliff, not always um. So there's our hair sisters there's a lot of different places that will have the AZ know the ozone, a plus wigs and Lord and cliffs. I would I would stick. I would go with those to start and if you find something better than great, but those are the two that I've kind of come to love as far as synthetic now, if you're going human hair, which is definitely the preferred, I would say, definitely check out our Beat RPG show online, they are a Chinese manufacturer, but they were quick. They I had no problem with any payment or anything like that. Um and I did order two wigs two different times from them and the one I have on right now is a human hair, custom lace, wig very, very nice parting on it's dark right here, but it you can see right down to it like it looks like Scalp, underneath, which is what I like, and the quality of the human hair, is it gives you back everything that you may be lost with your with hair loss. So on so, I would check out some full lace: human hair, wigs those are going to be the closest to what you had before. You lost all your hair um and you have the ability to get a lighter lace. Now I know our PG show just right off the bat you may have a transparent, they have a light beige, they have a medium beige and then they have a brown like a dark brown. I went with a light beige because I do have a little bit darker complexion than most just because of my Italian background. So I did go back and forth whether I want to transparent or not, and I may try one out the next time, because the sometimes the light beige is a little dark, depending on the time of the year like right now, it's winter and my skin tone Is a little lighter um, so it's just something to consider, but they do give you those options and you can send in your measurements and the hair is going to come out exactly the size of your head um. So also. There are plenty plenty other places online that you can get full lace wigs, but the RPG show, like I said, was one of the ones I found was a lower price and they were very good about some some of their things. But by no means is this a plug for their wigs. It was just something that was something that I tried that I liked so feel free to check them out. They have a lot of good colors. This is a number two on a little bit darker. They also have like threes or fours, which get a little bit lighter, but make sure you look at their color charts because, therefore, is way different than any other four I've looked at before so take a look at their colors. They go all the way to blonde, but so does also some other places such as um royalty, wigs um and I think Sassy's, sister or sassy secret sassy secret. They have a lot of different range in colors and the lace choices, and then definitely if you get the chance, you want to get the super bleached nuts, because if they are not bleached they're going to show up a lot more like dots instead of hair chromic Growing right out of your head, so I hope you guys found this helpful. Let me know if you have any questions or anything and I'll talk to you guys soon. Bye,

Sara Kondrato: Courtneie, I don't feel there was anything racist about this video. She was simply stating the different colors regarding the lace caps. Not everything has to do with race. We have enough problems already. And with that said, I have 4 mixed grand children that are beautiful. I'm giving this video a thumbs up! She did a good job explaining what is very confusing to many of us.

Stephanie True: I get some of these comments were made long ago, but saying this is racist is irrational. I'm a Caucasian (German, Irish heritage) woman who lost all of my hair to chemo. I'm trying to find a Remy, human hair full lace wig in #60, or #613. I'm very pasty white and there really is no help finding what I need. Obviously I don't want people to know I'm wearing a wig and it's been heartbreaking trying to find these items. This is what she's addressing.

Angel of Retribution: I'm so happy to see this video because SO many women around here go buying wigs that don't look natural to them and it makes the wig VERY obvious lol. Great job, hun

lostsoul79928: Love your videos. I'm 32 and have been dealing with my thinning hair since I was 21 and thought wigs wouldn't look natural. Thank you for proving my wrong.

Nolsteen: Long time no see ! Good to see a new video ! Your infos are very useful, and I'll surely try the brands you're talking about if I choose to try a human hair wig someday. I trust your advice ! For the time being, I feel good enough with my synthetics. These things do help A LOT to get some confidence back, once you know your hair is NOT coming back. Your channel helped me a lot when I decided to wear wigs, but wasn't bold enough yet. Many warm thanks and keep up with some of your good vids ! <3

Nichole Renee: I’m Caucasian and always wear Outre, Janet Collection, Bobbi Boss, Model Model, etc and the HD lace wigs are always light toned. Plus several other non HD lace ones work well too. One suggestion: you mention wearing wigs for hair loss, but ALOT of us wear them for fashion, so I would include mentioning what the lace wigs will be like for people with hair, and take into consideration that they are worn for fashion too.

JENNIFER SMITH: I love your videos. I am loosing my hair due to a medication side effect. Watching your videos are helping me a lot. Thank you. You are making me feel better.

Moley Russell’s Wart: You are simply AMAZING! Come back soon. Just getting the courage to make the move from a horrible, unnatural clip-in topper, to a front lace wig - thanks to you! X

Colleen Ann: This is so helpful to me. Lost all my hair due to an autoimmune disorder and am having trouble finding wigs that work. Thanks so much for posting.

My2Cents: Most of the wig stores in my area are geared towards black women. While they have nice products, there is a difference in the color of the lace (they're all way too dark and fake looking on me) and how the hair is textured, Etc.. Wigs that look beautiful on the shelf look horrible on me because they don't fit my ethnicity and look really fake. For example, women try on wigs that look great, but on me they look crazy thick (caucasians often have finer, somewhat thinner hair) and look fro-ish. Of course, people tend to get ticked off when white women have that kind of hair-do, even if it's natural, so half the wigs in the store are off limits. So yes there are wigs for black women and wigs for Caucasians. That isn't racist; it's just a fact. There are many things such as hair care, skin care, Etc that are different for the average black woman versus the average Caucasian woman. You have to do what fits you.

LadyMissLouise: Thank you for making this video... I just ordered an Ozone wig because you you and Liz From Malta's recommendations ;) Question about your RPGshow wig - how much did it cost (you don't have to say if you'd rather not), how long has it lasted, and do you wear it up/braid it etc?

N. Johnson: I cannot tell you how much this helped me. I'm mixed and although my hair is naturally quite ethnic, I still found the synthetic yaki texture wigs to look a little to thick on me. I have very middles eastern/jewish ethnic hair. Do you know of any affordable sites with synthetic wigs that are good quality but not that thick yaki?

naked laughing: could you possibly provide a list of places you recommend buying wigs from?

albeeinla: Whats the best tip you can give for the stocking for those that do have hair? Lining it up to the edge of the hairline is a little challenging because the outline of the stocking shows.

00Gimme00: I really would like to suggest arda-wigs they mostly deal with costumers, but they have very nice quality synthetic hair wigs. I've been using them for five years now, and you can't really tell the difference.

TheSarapak: This was sooooo helpful!!! Bless your heart for sharing this info with every1!! You have no idea how many people search and search for the perfect wig/extensions,etc.!!! I have the same question as mailoan3-- is it secure if you don't use tape or glue? I understand that some of the wigs on RPG do not have any snaplike clips in the cap (sometimes just like a few combs). Would that be enough for it to stay put on a windy day or a slight tug if a friend was just saying hi?

Billie Clark: I would LOVE to see a video showing how to put a full lace wig into an updo or a ponytail.  I want to buy one so I can do those things but I'm afraid it won't look natural.

ldemi125: Hi! Im so happy you posted this. I feel so alone and have so many questions dealing with some of the issues of your problem. Do you know of any websites that have returnable merchandise?

Philly Giacomo: Thank you for your video. You're truly an inspiration to me! I love your hair!

posy16: are you going to continue making videos on this channel? your channel is the most informative/helpful wig channel that ive found on youtube. please keep making vids!:)

will: Great video!! Question? Do heat friendly wigs (Futura) last any where as long as a human hair wig? My expiernce with human hair is that it tends to dry out out over a period of a few months as where I can mist a heat friendly wig and straighten it to like new again! Works every time. Whats your expiernces and opinions. Thanks :D

Jessica Worden: I would love to see an updated video. Any new brands or tips?

Charlotte Rushing Roberts: I am 68 and have moderate hair loss. I am beginning my adventure of buying wigs. I do not know what to look for. Your video has helped me know what to ask and look for. Thanks.

my0little0secret: Still rocking them almost a year later!

Amanda S.: Listen I don’t see anything racist about this video!! I live in a really rural area and the closest wig store to me to get wigs in kerosene is 3hrs away in Lexington ky and no lie out of about 100 wings in that store maybe 1 wig was more of a look for a white girl to wear, all over wigs were made for African American women, I’m so glad you did this video love!! Being newly bald due to chemo for breast cancer I am having the hardest time getting wigs that I can see in person and buy and like I said the wig stores I’ve found to go too mostly are made not for white girls so any info you can give me on good trustworthy wigs I can buy online please let me know

Little Missy: Well spoken, and informative.

kitty5439: Nothing RACIST, it’s been very hard on me finding anything for me , I’ve driven 60 miles 15 shops , and it’s geared more toward black folks all those wigs and I get shown clip ins , and tracts that I don’t know what to do with on a end cap ... I’m seeking a Black lady to make me one ..Thank you for this video

Bella Rose: Thx for your honesty! Very helpful! ^_^

Dream Eater: Hey! Would you say a blended lace wig looks less like a wig than a silk top?

Savana Nix: Could you type in the description the names of your prefered sellers? Thanks!

nadia mccall: Thank you for this, this is such a difficult thing. My only problem is I can see you have almost the opposite of what I seek. I want long highlighted wavy hair, and yours is straight and one color dark. Do you know where I could find highlighted real looking wavy hair? I don't think the sites you mentioned seemed to have that....and I really really hate how fake looking some of them look.

mailoan3: Thanks for your video, question: Do you use any tape or glue on lace front wig? Is it secure if you don't use Tape or glue????? Thanks in advance.

Grace: this is the best wig video I have seen in a LONG time. I am a white girl looking for wigs and its not that ladies of African american decent dont make great videos, because they do, but sometimes I feel like what works for them doesnt always work for me, and lots of other Caucasian women on where come on looking a mess in these synthetic 25 dollar wigs thinking it looks good.... It's hard to find someone who knows what they are talking about. Thanks.

Linga Lilley: "Hi" I am new to wearing wigs, due to illiness it is necessary now. How do I purchase a wig to wear during the hot summer months? I may need to start with synthetic. Thanks for the video, next time you make one let me know.

Esther Sowell: I'm happy you mentioned rpg, wigs are a good quality unit I want to purchase I'm black I have alopecia sooo I wear units thank you

terriergal: Have you ever tried any of the cheaper lace fronts? There are times I'd like to just be able to throw something on rather than stop everything and fix a full lace that needs reattaching (because then you'd have to wash everything etc and it takes a long time for all that). I can't find a list of lace front human hair wigs for quick wear. Most of them cater to dark skinned people and I'm paler than you!

Peacock Maiden: I'm a white girl who wears lace wigs. I usually have them custom made by Jacksun.

Kiki11974: Glad to see that you are back!

Pharaoh 90: im about to buy my first wig... im scaredddd lol thanks for the video!

Nichole Renee: I review wigs and can’t afford the human hair ones. I have found that the synthetic wigs with HD lace from Sensationnel and Outre have light toned lace.

Jessica Lishamer: how are you rpg show full lace holding up. do you find the quality of the hair nice still? i have alopecia too and am looking to invest in a full lace. i just want to say thank you so much for all the info on application of the wig washing taking off etc !

Jessica Stefanick: Hey girl. Can you send me the link to this exact wig!

Trudy Lennon: I'm from Tennessee and I bought a very nice synthetic wig. I can even use a curling iron. I only paid $35.00 for it. is there anything in Jacksonville FL were I could find a shop like that? I'm Caucasian but half Cherokee so I'm fairly dark skinned. please let me know

Peg holcomb: New subbie here I just picked up a sin wig just for cosplay I am really digging it I only paid ten dollars from a store on ebay called jessyduss let me know what you think. thanks.

Gail Catoe: Beautiful!

m daisley: I find your videos to be great. I have checked out some of the companies. Can you recommend something for an Irish redhead?

JosieQ: Very helpful!!.,, Thank you!!

Tam: What's the point of the lace at the front if you just cut it off anyway? I'm so new to wigs that i haven't even bought one yet. What's holding me back is the extreme cost to get one even a little bit close to natural looking. I did wear a few that were given to me & one was even human hair but they all looked like 'wigs'. The first one I ever bought myself- the sales lady lied to me & told me it was human hair & I only realized when I got home, it was about $150. I knew nothing. So I'm very wig shy. Why are 'black lady wigs' cheaper?

Mucinex Pm: Ok the trick is to look up the color wig you want and the style you want if you look up by race you'll be cheated out of your money i.e. "Honey blonde body wave lacefront wigs"

MissCasper3: hello i hav a question. i am trying to get a job at a store that doesnt allow funky hair colors, mine is purple, and i was looking at possibly getting a wig. what kind would u reccommend? i want it to look natural but im not sure if synthetic would be an ok option? i wouldnt be wearing the wig often, only on the days i would hav work. ?

Framboise: I was excited to listen to your video, but the two synthetic options you mention don't seem to be available in Canada... :(

Fe Bernabe: I know this utube was years ago, but I would like to know the supplier of wigs your getting from and also the style of your RPG hair. Thanks

Autumn Dixon: hello, i went to several wig stores and i ordered one wig from online ..... it was not what i expected so i decided to look at what wig did you order and realized they all are out of stock or not make any more wig. so what or where should i find perfect wig like you have ones. please help me!

nicole davis: hi!! I have a ton of questions for you! do you have an email so that I can email you a bunch of questions!! I'm thinking of wearing a wig for the 1st time and i have a TON of questions!!!

platinumblondebiatch: have you ever tried a forever young wig?

my0little0secret: yes it is defineatly secure with glue and tape, without it would easily fall off

kevin stanley: hey, im buying a synthetic wig, i was wondering if you really take great care how long do synthetic wigs last, im not gonna put any product in the wig at all, got some tips for me :0)

young oaf: I don't understand why people are complaining I mean if she's a white girl how do you expect her to give advices to asian girls or black girls. Maybe there are different tips and tricks for other girls & she doesn't know. Just calm down

Lisa Doherty: There any white women wigs that can be glued/secured without damaged? Looking for something that doesn't have to be re-secured every time I have to exercise or shower. Please let me know. Thanks!

Randi Damm: I'm so afraid of it looking fake on me

TheLonelyone_9989: what's wrong with front lace wigs?

646mtorres: Same here synthetics didn't work for me either

Larissa Bell: Can you put a wig in a ponytail?

LadyMissLouise: Sorry, but I'm bald due to illness and I am going to wear my wig and not worry about assholes judging me for it. Women wear bras, makeup, Spanx, they shave their legs - I bet you don't mind that.

TheDizzyFoxYT: You can say the prices please?

karen slater: Can You Order a really nice wig on the internet. If So,. WHERE!!!

Wendy: Where are you? Just wondering how you are. You helped me with your videos. Thank you!!! Come back soon!

Randi Damm: I'm gonna get a synthetic wig first see if I like it then buy human hair

Kristi's Journey: I can't seem to find the section to have one futon made they mostly only have brown hair :/ cheap though

Sev gg: Hello, can you tell me where find a lace wig whis human hair please ? I am french, i speak a little english, sorry. Thank you

jennaynay99: which wig are you wearing in this video?

gabe dupre: whats the best wig site

Distance yourself: how much did you pay per wig @ rpg show please?

Amanda S.: Can you please share links

Kiki11974: When are you going to start making videos again?

kevin stanley: btw you rock!

Laylers: you can put it will look fake, your better off buying a wig with a ponytail already in it.

MsShutupndance MSU & D: 389 dollars seems a lot for a wig in the rpgshow website

Sarah White: The first two where for ebony women the part won't match mine

Teresa H: Great Job Girl! I have to Address the Guy akolak284 lol, irresistible. I wonder if You've Ever dated a Bald Woman? Cancer and the number of Health Issues that can Strip Women or Men as yourself of what is considered A Woman's Crown and Glory. gabe dupre: density?

Ionita Cosmin: Damn....you`re so beautiful....you look like a famous singer & fotomodel from my country..ROMANIA :) Her name it`s Antonia Iacobescu . Found pictures and videos with her... Love you bye ^_^

Lucy Valentina Martines: Please, can you write what you say in this video? I'm italian, and i don't understand so much, i need your help. Please. :)

Irtifa Khan: Try primium lacewigs dot com, they are so good and so inexpensive. There customer service is awesome too. They are about 150 less than the rpg show ones.

Kaylah Mae: You look like Amy Lee, beautiful!

MAX walsh: Your wig is very good

XCUZEME TEA: The title of this video cracks me up

Monica Moniker: I've heard HORRIBLE things about RPG Show

Laze: Looks like Paris Jackson

Rachel West: You could have at least put some links in your description in the bottom

Carolina Ciruolo: U look like Amy Lee.

parisbrat: Okay. I'm late in the game here....but HOW is this racist????

MAX walsh: Synthetic wigs are crap I had 2 has a bad feel to it and looks fake

lolo l: Why would she make that video? Check out muffinsismylover, ateyaa, etc.

keke's land sunny: WHITE GIRLS WIG!?

Luisa Lobo: Really helpfull

Molly Littleford-Schacht: Yet you re probably okay with women shaving their legs, wearing coloured contacts, false lashes, makeup of any kind etc? Sorry to inform you, but those things aren't 'natural' either. Wearing wigs in the modern day is just like wearing clothes, makeup or accessories, it's simply another fun aspect of what your own fashion style is.

Bamcis100: I don't get the whole "white girl wig" thing. There are so many huge wig e-tailers and retailers that carry all manner of style, texture, color of wig. And I see so many black women wearing wigs that don't look natural on them. So why the condescending tutorial directed at white women specifically? If I want to find a wig, I can google what I want.
