Slay A Full Lace Wig In 15 Minutes | Divas Wigs

What'S up you guys, it's brandy! Thank you for tuning in to my channel today. I wanted to do a video of me like actually doing the unboxing for wig and showing you guys how you can take it right out of the box and work with it. So you can wear it that same day. Now, typically, I don't do this because I like to watch my wigs first and then style them. How I want them to be styled because I feel like if you watch the wig and you get it soaking wet. It'S a lot easier for you to manipulate it. So if you want like a middle part, if you want a side part, you can do that when it's soaking wet, let it air dry that way and then you're good to go, and you can even style it on a mannequin head, which is a lot easier In my opinion, but for some of you guys who don't want to go through all of that and have to wait to wear the wig, you want to take it right out of the box. This video is going to be for you if you guys, are interested in my head, wrap that I'm rocking right now. I will leave the details in the description box, for you guys below this is from the rap Queen on Instagram. That'S gon na look her up. She has amazing raps on there and I have a few pictures on my Instagram of me wearing this head wrap. This is what the wig packaging. This is the front of the box when you get the wig but already fallen help. This is what its gon na be, is gon na be on top and you're gon na have like this net type of material tying it kind of to keep it intact and compressed while it's being shipped, so you also have this little paper inside, so it can Keep the general shape of the wig as well, so let's go ahead and take this off if I can figure out where it starts, that is, I won't get this off here. Okay, there we go, and I actually like to keep these Nets, because when I make wigs for other people and send them to them, I like to reuse them and put them on there or even for the wig that I actually have. But this is what the wig looks like inside. When you get it, they have clips or combs, rather all throughout it. So you have three at the top. You have two near the ears one at the very top. You also have one here at the nape of the neck, along with adjustable straps, still have all the lace right here on the front where you can actually size it and cut it to your actual hairline. So I am going to show you guys that as well and this one here is styled with a middle part already, so I may work with this middle part and put a little bit of concealer on it and stuff like that. So this is what the wig looks like it's very very long, and I don't think I've got the density too much because I wanted it to look more natural, and this is also one of theirs that ships out right away, so they always have it in stop. So let's go ahead and read the little booklet that they have in here that has all of the specs for the wig. This is supposed to be the Kylie Jenner inspired wig. It'S a hundred percent Brazilian virgin hair, the hair Lee Vince 22 inches that hair color is one beat off black, but you can choose any color that you want like they have a rack of colors on there. The hair density is 150. It doesn't seem like this. Is 150, though, like it actually feels pretty like natural and light, so I it just doesn't feel like 150 to me. I don't say that, but they say it's supposed to be. The lace. Color is light brown and the cap size that I chose is average. Now you have a few items already here with me that I feel like I'm gon na need. So of course I have some scissors that I'm gon na use to cut the lace off in the front. I also have a diamond brush because or any type of paddle brush will work, because I am gon na style, the hair, once I put it on, I have a little rat tail comb just to make sure like my own parting, for my hair lays down with The wig and I have clips - and I also have my wand curler, so I'm gon na use this to kind of like flatten the part and all of that I don't think I'm gon na tweeze it because I feel like if this is something quick you want To wear it right out of the box, so instead we're going to use concealer and powder to try to blend the little line in the front, and I am gon na keep it how it is as a middle part, because I feel like that will just make It a lot simpler and a lot easier if you're trying this at home. So the first thing: let's go ahead and cut this lace off right here. So I want you have to be super careful because you don't want to cut any of the like actual hair on this. You don't want to cut that off. So what I like to do is like start at the very end over here and pull all of the hair back where you're cutting it okay, so here's the lace that I just cut off, I had to like focus super focus, trying to get this off and I'M going to cut the back part of the lace off too so they have it at the nape of the neck as well. Let'S take this scarf off, so we can actually put the wig on and don't be alarmed about what my hair looks like underneath here. I just had like some braids we're, not braids. I just have twists that I did last night and air dried them and I made sure I did a middle part and then also made a side part to determine like how I want it to wear it. So what I'm going to do is actually use this type of wig cap head cap. I don't know what you call it. I'M gon na use this time because it's gon na lay my hair down a lot more than the one I just had one and just put it on and put all of your hair in it. So I'm going to take these ear, tabs and stuff like that. Where the combs are and go ahead and put those into my hair tuck them in so it's more secure feel like the part. That'S in here is good, so we'll leave it as such. So I'm going to take my one curler and just go over it and not burn myself, of course, just to flatten it down a little bit more, let's go in first with this powder. This is my Maybelline fit me, and this is in toffee 3:30 and I'm just using this type of brush, it's kind of like a flat shader brush and I'm just taking the powder just off exit and going right in where that part is. We just want to brighten it up there, so it actually looks like a heart. I'M gon na take some pieces of hair like right here in the front because they're super long and I just want to go in a downward motion and just cut some of them cut them off cuz. We want to frame our face so when we do the curls it's gon na look a lot more natural okay. So, let's put half of this side away, cuz! I'M gon na really like zoom through curling, this real, quick and show you guys how it curls as well, but the texture of it. While I'm talking to you guys and doing this, the texture of it feels amazing is super soft and I, like the color of it, it's it's 1b. I do kind of feel like it's darker than most 1b colors are, but that might just be the lighting in here right now, but it does seem like it's a little bit darker than most 1b colors, that I've seen on weeks before we just don't throw some Real quick curls in here and it curls y'all, see these curls pop in yes, so I'm gon na go off-camera, finish, curling it and then come back on and let you guys see what it looks like come back. I have finished putting the curls in this unit. Look at the bounciness and that shininess to it too, it would lay down a lot flatter right here, but because of how I have my twist, underneath it it's not laying down as much and if you want a super smooth on top. You can use like this curling wand and some hairspray to to just make sure these little flyaways stay down. I'M gon na use this L'Oreal Paris, L net set and hairspray, and this is extra holes. So I'm gon na spray, some on the top right there and then take my curling one and just go right on top of it and it gets all those flyaways. This is what the wigs looking like right now. The curls super super cute, the density. I still do not feel like the density of this is 150 at all. Now, when I cut it and actually like layer it, it is gon na look a lot more fuller, which I like that a lot about it too. But if you're someone who just wants like super straight black hair, this will be a good whip, free wig for you guys to get, but I really do like the texture of it. That'S pretty much it for this video. I just wanted to make a video of me taking a wig out of the box and seeing if I could work with it and play around with it, for it to look decent enough to wear outside.
