How I Apply And Remove My Wigs

Hi Lovelies! In today's video I am going to show you how I apply and remove my wigs using the Got2b Glued freeze spray. This isn't something I would do everyday but if I want to do a particular hairstyle that requires more security or if I want to wear the wig for a longer period of time I'll do something like this. :)

Hey: what's up you guys welcome back to my channel, so in today's video, I'm gon na show you how I stick down my wigs using the Gotcha. We glued freezing spray. So I'll use this. If I want to stick down my wigs at the front, so really lay down the front. If I want to wear like a half up, half down like this or if I want to put my wig up into a ponytail or if I just want some more security, so the wake isn't really moving around and it looks a little bit more natural and It looks like the hair is kind of like actually growing out of your head, so I'll show you how I do that in this video and at the end, I'll actually show you how I take it all off. So if you guys want to see how I remove it at the end of the day, I'll show you how I do that and yeah. So in this video I'm using the spray, but I do have another video. It'S called like how to put your hair up into a high bun, where I use the got to be glued gel. So if you want to see that one I'll link that one down below and in the cards as well, but I feel like the freezing spray. It'S a little bit more popular because it dries faster and it's a little bit and maybe not maybe easier to use but either way I'll show you how I use it in this video, so yeah, let's get into the tutorial alright. So the first thing I did was just prep, my hair, to go under the wig cap. So what I do is, I just put my hair in two braids and then I'm just gon na criss cross them in the back like this, you can do like French braids or cornrows, whatever you need to do to get your hair like really flat. Since I don't have that much hair, I can just get away with like two little braids and I'm just taking some gel and I'm just gon na slicked back my hair around my hairline just to make sure it's out of the way. Alright. So now that my hair is all gelled back, my hair line is clean. I don't have any that like little hairs or flyaways, I'm gon na take some bobby pins and I'm just gon na crisscross, the braids and then so they're gon na be like this, and I'm just gon na pin the braids up with some bobby pins. So there we go so now, I'm just gon na take a quick cat for a stocking cap like this. These are pretty inexpensive. You can get like a bunch of then like a bulk size on Amazon for like $ 10 or something I'll link it down below, but yeah they're pretty inexpensive, all right. So I just put the cap on - and I just pulled it down over my ears because you want to make sure your entire hairline is covered by the cab, including like your little sideburn pieces here, and you want it to be as flat to the skin as Possible so sometimes I can kind of lift around the ears, so you just want to like pull it down and make sure that it's a slot to the skin as possible, because I'll just make everything so much easier, and this elastic will make a dent in your Forehead temporarily, so I would recommend, if you're gon na, do your makeup. Do it after you stick down the cab I have makeup on for the video, but it will kind of like ruin your foundation and stuff, so just like a tip there, all right. So what I'm gon na do now is take the got to be glued freezing spray and just spray like a thin layer close to the hairline on your forehead. So let's do that alright. So I'm just feeling with that dry for a few minutes and I'll be right back alright. So now that that is all dry, we can cut off the elastic band, so I mean we can start in the middle here. I'M actually gon na start on this side. I'M sure honey all right, so you want the edge of the wig cap to be fairly close to your hairline, so you can actually pull it up and lift it from your skin a little bit and then cut the elastic or sorry the wig cap closer to Your hairline like this, so just be really careful that you don't cut your skin, obviously, but you can lift it up and then, when you get to the ear part, what I like to do is I just like to take one snip up like this, and then You can just pull your ear out like that and then just cut this little flop off all right. So this is a wig I'm going to be using today it is the Chloe from uni, wigs I'll link it down below. If you guys want to check it out - and I actually dyed it blue myself, so I have a video on that as well, so everything will be in the description box below if you guys want to see all right so we're finally gon na get ready to Stick the wig on so what I like to do is just put the wig on first and make sure everything matches up before we stick it down. So I'll pull it forward and I like to have the wig sit past the cap, so the lace will be laying on the skin. I feel like it just like, looks a little bit better and then I'll pull this I'll, pull the sides down just to make sure that everything lines up and that the little cap will be covered. So if you need to cut away any more cap, you can do so before you stick it on. So I'm just making sure everything matches up. Okay, alright! So this is what its gon na look like once I stick it down. So once you're happy with how everything is looking - and you don't see any extra cap like sticking out or anything like that, then you can move on to the next step. So what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na pull this back a little bit. So I'm just gon na take the I don't you think you need to shake it up, I'm just gon na shake it. So what I'm gon na do is I'm just gon na spray along the hairline, so just kind of where the cap meets the skin and then, while it's talking, I'm just gon na pull the wig forward and stick it right on I'm just gon na hold it Down in the middle pull this part down and hold it in place and then get the other side. And then, while it's fresh, I like to just hold it down with my hands and then, while it kind of it dries pretty quickly and then once it starts drying a little bit more, then we can tie it down with like a little skirt. So I'm just gon na hold it in place for a minute and just kind of use the tension of my hands to really push it down all right, I'm back the wig is on everything is dry, so what I just did off-camera was. I took this. This is a tie, you can use a scarf or whatever you have - and I just tied this down over my hair line like this, on top of the wig, just to give it some pressure and have it hold down the wig while everything is drying. So this is what it looks like after a few minutes. It only takes like I gave it, maybe like 10-15 minutes to dry. So it really doesn't take that long. So at this point now that the hair is on, you can pretty much just style it as you would with your normal hair. So this is what it looks like now, so it is stuck in my head. So what I'm gon na do that? I'M gon na try to do like a little half-up, half-down pony, so I'm just gon na take some hair. Do you like a little chopped up and I'm actually going to stack the elastic, so I'm just gon na take another elastic and tie it right on top. Just to give that ponytail a little bit more height, so hopefully you guys can see that. Apparently, this is what ariana grande does with her ponytail. So that's why they're so high? Oh okay and then you take some hair to wrap around the elastics. All right! That is a look. I'Ve never really done a half up half down like this, I'm kind of feeling it. Let me know you guys think in the comments, but I'm gon na go and take like a few selfies and go about my day and I'm gon na come back and I'm gon na show you how I take this all off at the end of the day. So I will see you in the next clip okay. So now I'm gon na show you how I remove the wig. So it's really easy. It comes off with pretty much just water, so I'm just gon na move this hair out of the way. So I'm just gon na clip this back and then I have some water in front of me. Usually I would do this at a sink and it would kind of be the end of the day as I'm like washing my face I'll just kind of take. The water and rub it into my hairline to kind of break up the product, so I'm just gon na take some water actually on a towel and then just kind of go like that and just start to wet the hairline. So, as you can see it's like already starting to lift it's like, it comes off super easily and the more you like the more product you use. Obviously, the more you'll have to work at it, but this pretty much comes off right away and this is essentially a hairspray. So you don't have to worry about this, ruining your wig or your hair, because it's literally just hairspray, you can just shampoo it out and it's totally fine all right there we go. We pretty much got it all off, just with water, like honestly, just a little bit of water. Okay. So now I'm just gon na take the wig, ah snatched, alright, okay! So I'm just gon na put that on this side and I'm just gon na remove any bobby pins from the bag. Okay, so usually when I take the cap off I'll, do this in the shower cuz, I'm gon na be washing my hair anyway, but just to show you I'm gon na, do it again with this water. So usually, I would just step in the shower and just get it like all, soaking, wet and honestly it'll just kind of come off. If it doesn't come off really easily, then just keep working at it with warm water, and maybe some shampoo as well. But it really should just slide right off no pulling on your hair. So don't pull out your hair, please! So I'm just gon na wet it and like really just like, rub it in massage it. As you can see it's starting to peel off there. We go see that came off like really easily and I just have to do the other side. So yeah it comes off super easily and then I would just throw this out and if I'm gon na do this again I'll use a fresh stocking cap. So I use a new end every time I do this and at this point I would just shampoo and wash my hair as normal, because I do have all that gel in it from the beginning of the video, so I'm actually gon na go and wash my Hair right after this video, so that's pretty much it you guys. Let me know if you have any questions and leave them in the comments down below and yeah subscribe. If you haven't already - and I will see you guys, my next video

I love how humble but confident you are... super super hard quality to legitimately come by with content creators once they hit around 5000 followers. I just wanted you to know that.... my channel is micro to yours but I am in the "business" of people watching me and judging me ... so I just thought it would be nice to get a real compliment since we get so many haters.. for me, one can ruin my whole day even though I know they are just projecting. Anyway, I will post my question below :)

Tonya Beatson: this helped so much!, thank you! im new to the wig game and this is prob a dumb question but, do you just toss the wig cap after cutting it or can it be reused?|

TattedBaddiiee: You should pull the wig cap further down past that second indent line on the wig cap band. That area is made thicker so I recommend you go past that!

Kadian G: Just found this page please keep posting more wig installs

LittleM: Have you tried using it stays to hold your lace front wigs? I was wondering if it's as effective as the got2b spray.

Adam&neva family journey: I usually just wet my whole part where I put it at and I put conditioner and it comes right off

Jennie Turnbull: Hi I’ve just started using wigs as my most my hair fell out and I’ve tried glue and now got2b freeze spray that I sprayed on the wig cap on my scalp not on my face as I pulled some of my fringe out to blend in and I found the glue spray soaked through the wig cap to my real hair and mi then had to try to get the glue out my real hair. Have you ever heard of this problem or way round it?

Icíar Vázquez Bustos: Really awesome!! You’re so cute btw ☺️

Un Pouce Fort: Do you sometimes sleep with your wig for a night? If you do, does it stay on?

ramoon1978: Hi...thanks for the nice video. I'm from the Netherlands so my Englisch is not that good I use ghostbond for my wig but it's too agressive for me. But i can walk ourside in the rain with it. Can you please tell me if i use got2b hairspray will hold in the rain? Because you are taking the wig of with water.

Irina Brilliant: I like this look on you.

K N: We know that YOU apply. But to all please keep in mind this method came from the African American beauty community. Go to an influencer from. That where she got this from. And side but pieces can be left if done right. And as far as the cap leaving a line… Just use a blow dryer to so you do t have to wait as long for the hair spray to set, the you won’t have a line.

Eve Malkin: Can you sleep in the wig or does it have to be removed everytime you wear it

Cruelty Free Erika: If I have a buzzcut, is it okay to skip the wig cap entirely?

Jazmyne Hamilton: I enjoyed your vid, thank you

Jennie Turnbull: I also found the videos show people using got2b freeze spray on wig caps and it staying stuck for all day but I tried and it only stuck for 4 hours while I was at home ! Don’t know why ? Any advice. ? One video said do two or three coats of got2b spray and cool hair dry it before hold wig on. I did that but didn’t help.

Celina Saber: I just don't understand being new to wins, how you have the combs secure the wig. mine keep lifting at the back and sides behind my ears, I sewed in 3 small close clips and they just pull at my hair. I don't know what else to do? any suggestions?

sikdude404: Probably a dumb question, but do you have to take off the wig every night? if so does that mean that people that wear wigs daily have to do this every day?

Silky Saks: Nice job

Heavenlyvia Urbex: Can i do this without wig Cap?

tugcexx: So the wig cap is only for one use am I right? So everytime I‘d need a new wig cap?

iamirisgvn: Subscribed

MsBizzyGurl: Brilliant

Lakeva Grady: you go girl priodtttt.....

Tee Queen: You seem so adorable

ashleigh m: I hate when I take pictures I can still see my lace did I not cut it right

Caitlyn Birch: You remind me SO much of someone. Idk who, but someone.

billiamsgirl: How do you handle around the ear on the actual wig? My wig looks super thick everywhere and has big tufts of hair infront of the ear. I think it makes my real human hair wig look so unnatural

Zena Macdonald: You look like violet from ahs

maryamscult: I’m not sure if you’d still reply up to this day but is a blow drier necessary?
