So hey my tater tots in today's video, as you can probably see by the title and the thumbnail, i'm gon na, be walking you guys through how i got this super natural, no baby, hair, very simplistic, quote unquote type of wig install this video is in partnership With yolissa hair, i want to thank them first and foremost for sending this wig over, and that is the hair we will be using today. I'M just right here showing you guys the things that came inside the box, along with my wig and all of the information on this wig in particular, will be in the description box. As always. So if you want to shop this hair, which i highly recommend - because it was amazing, hair all the way down to the lace - the curl pattern - the texture, everything just how easy it was to work with. I absolutely love this wig now just to prep the hair. I'M going to be bleaching the knots on this frontal and i am boiling some hot water so that i can watercolor the hair. I just wanted this to be a jet black unit. I didn't really feel the need to walk you guys through that, but now into the wig style right here, you're going to be seeing me do my bald cap to start off with, i highly recommend doing this ball cap method or just any other ball cap method. If you want that flawless, flawless, flawless install, especially if you're working with a lace frontal just so everything meshes and lays a little bit better but yeah right here, i'm using the boho glue and i'm going to start off with applying. I think i did a total of four layers of boho glue right on top of the cap. Nothing else has been added at this point and i'm just kind of spreading that out with the popsicle stick just because i used to use like a rat tail comb and that's something that i quickly learned is not as good as the popsicle sticks, because it's a Little bit flatter and it'll spread more easily, and just because i'm a multitasker in between layers as they're drying, i was doing some other customizations to the wig um when i bleached the wig off camera. Of course you guys didn't see, but there were a few pieces that got a little bit of bleach on them, so that was no big deal. I learned this little trick. If that happens to you, if it's just a little bit just go ahead and go over with some mascara, some black mascara and as you can see, problem resolved very quickly, don't have to do another coloring process now, after all, four layers of my glue has dried Down i'm going to be going in with this ruby kisses makeup and i'm going to be applying that both to my lace and later on you're going to see me apply it directly to my cap. What i want to highly recommend you guys do when applying it to your lace. First go a little bit in front of where the hair actually starts so where's, just lace set. That'S another trick. I don't even know if it's a mind thing or not. I don't think it is, but i noticed that once i started doing that it blended a little bit better on my skin, because you got to remember that part is still going to be laying on your head. So go a little bit in front of where the hair starts and when you go over your cap, i only do like the front part where the lace is going to be and right on top of that glue, i only pat it in. I don't rub it because i think that kind of takes away from how well the wig adheres to that glue. If that makes sense, hopefully that's not confusing, and then i did go in and pluck the hairline a little bit more because it was natural. But i just wanted it to be a little less dense, that's about how much hair i plucked out of the front, and after about a total of 30 or so minutes after the last glue layer application, i did go ahead and cut the front part of the Cap completely off the back part, i just kind of tucked under my braids, you really don't have to wait a full 30 minutes to cut your cap off. I just like to wait a little bit longer, so i can be more so safe than sorry and just make sure that it's really glued down before i cut it off and it's not secure, then i got to start all over. So next i'm going to just kind of clean up my forehead, some with some alcohol and just get that extra makeup off of my forehead before we actually apply this wig after i cut that excess cap off of my forehead. I just went through and i decided to do a side part for this hair, so i'm kind of molding the hair and training it in the way that i want it to go with the hot comb and the wax stick just to kind of at least like. I said get the hair trained now here, i'm just measuring my cap and, as you can see it's already beginning to give scalp, but before we lay all of that, i do want to go in with that same boho glue and i think before i laid the Lace down, i applied two, maybe three layers of glue, i'm not exactly sure, but we already did four on our cap. So i didn't, i know for a fact: it wasn't four but yeah, so we're just blow drying it down the same thing that we did to put that glue on our cap. We'Re gon na do the same thing all over again and then i didn't cut the pieces yet. But i did cut my lace eventually into three pieces to kind of work in sections. As i apply it, which you will see in one moment and as i just stated here, you see me taking my rat tail comb and combing each section of lace directly into that glue. What i do want to make a note of is when you work with each section, you want to make sure that the hair itself, where the first, where the hairline first begins, you want to put that slightly in front of both your cap and where that glue Is and comb it into the glue? You don't want to sit it directly on top of the glue you want to shift it a little bit forward so that it all looks natural and it doesn't look wiggy and so that everything meshes very nicely. So then i wrap that same elastic band around my lace, so that can kind of just sit and melt and do that and while that's melting, i am going to take this la girl, pro concealer and fun, and i'm going to just go over my part. Very light-handedly, please do not put a bunch of makeup on your part, because it's just going to get messy, it's gon na, probably run or just make a mess. So just very light-handedly just go over your part. That'S just something i like to do and i feel like that alone makes the install look a lot more neater. And after that, i am going to go ahead and add some curls into this hair, with just my remington one and a half inch curling iron and please y'all. If y'all see me struggling with this curler throughout this video. Please excuse me it. It was a bad curl day like i am not perfect. I was struggling a little bit with some of these curls but yeah i'm just going to go through my head and do that, while my lace is melting um, so now that that elastic band is off, i'm going to go ahead and cut off with a straight Razor the rest of that remaining lace, the part that we do not need, and i'm just going to go in like a back and forth type of motion, very simple um! You don't want to get too. I don't want to say scissor happy because clearly they're not scissors, but you just want to be a little careful with this um. You don't want to cut yourself and you don't want to go up too high and like cut off some of your hair and then your hairline looks a mess, so just be very careful and very patient with that part, and then i'm going to go back over My top part with the hot comb and just kind of get that a little bit flatter. As you can see, my curls are done and i'm just going to touch up my lace and make sure that it's super duper duper duper melted with my wig dealer spray. I absolutely love this spray. I feel like it doesn't get the credit that it is up that it deserves in the hair world, um and yeah. Here i'm taking out some baby hairs in the front and on the sides, as you guys know, i did not end up doing baby hairs but yeah at first. I was thinking about doing them, so i took them out and all of that, but you guys are gon na see me eventually not do those, but i just wanted to still include this to show you guys give you guys like an idea of what it would Have looked like had, i did baby hairs, and this was the final result, this very natural, looking no baby hair type of wig install. I hope you guys enjoyed this video be sure to like comment and subscribe. Make sure to add me on my other socials they'll. Be on the screen and in the description box once again, and thank you guys so much for watching and i will see y'all in my next video
