white girls can wear wigs too

Hi, my name is ally. I have alopecia and i have alopecia areata, which is an autoimmune disorder, and so i suffer from hair loss and i'm going to get a wig from cory, j's boutique. So i'm super excited and here's just some of my spots just to show you, let's see: okay, all right, perfect! Oh my gosh! So ally. Are you ready for your first away from corey, jamesboutique.com or not yeah, i'm so excited all right. Here we go all right. Guys, what's up welcome back to corey j's boutique? Yes, i am coming back again with another white girl. Wig install - and i am so excited for this updated, install method that i'm using today. Okay, so if you're interested in learning how to install a wig on a white girl continue watching right now, okay, so my client today suffers from alopecia areata um. So, as you see, i'm just braiding around the parts where i can it's pretty easy. Actually, her hair has a nice texture to it, so i'm just trying to braid it as tight as i can, without putting a lot of tension on her hair or whatnot. So just watch my braid method, and this would work for anybody with any hair type. Just straight to the back is how i'm braiding it for the frontal wig from coryjasboutique.com okay. So now i'm just gon na cut off her cap. I use a very, very neutral um, like beige color cap, it's almost actually like white, which is really really good for her skin, because once you put the foundation on there, it's literally like the perfect color um. If you guys want to see the entire bald cap method, i do have another white girl, wig install where i did show it, but in this method i'm just showing you guys, um or in this video, i'm sorry, i'm just showing you guys how i cut it Off and i'm just cutting very close um to her hairline. Obviously i also sprayed close to her hairline okay. So now i'm just going to take my client's foundation and her brush and i'm going to put the foundation on the brush and then sweep the brush onto the cap. This is the step that, if you miss, will mess up your entire install allowing the foundation. You know to color: the cap really creates a realistic look for the wig, so you should do this on the cap and then following the cap. You should also do this on your actual lace as well. So if you have a closure or frontal, it should obviously the lace should be bleached right, but then you also need to put the same foundation that you put on your face not only onto your cap but also onto that lace, so that you know you get A very realistic look, and this is why anybody can wear a wig. You know, because i can take my foundation and i can make it my brown color and you know whoever else can take their foundation and make it whatever color. They are. You know so this is really like the most crucial step in the entire install process. Please please, please guys, don't miss it all right guys. So what you're going to see me doing right now is just like fitting the wig on her head um before i start like putting glue and everything. The first thing you want to do is actually put the wig on your head and like pretty much measure it. So you can know okay. This is where i need to put my glue, because this is where i want my um, like my hairline, to begin, you know what i mean, so i'm just kind of measuring it, seeing where her hairline should be so now. What you're going to see me doing is cutting the lace in sections i like to do this just to make sure that um the install is more seamless and that the lace is really glued down. I also want to fix the part um, that's by her ears before i start gluing, just to make sure that part gets down. So, as you guys can see, i'm just adjusting it, i'm going to cut a little bit and just make sure everything is proper. Before i begin to glue for a flawless finish to this, install okay, so now it's time for the glue, so, as you can see, i'm starting with small dots on the back of her head um, where her cap is, i don't like putting glue just on the Edge of an install, especially when it's long term um that can create like a lot of tension and like headaches. So i definitely like to put the glue like further back to begin um so that i have you know a lot of space where the wig is actually stuck down and it'll stay for a while. So i'm just going to take a few layers of this glue and i'm going to smooth each layer out until the layer is clear and then i'm going to apply another layer until it's time for me to lay the lace and melt it into her scalp yay. It'S time to lay down the lace. So now, as you guys can see, i'm gon na do a section section by section i'm going to use her assistance. Yes, it is okay for you to ask your clients for help. You need that lace to be. You know as seamless and as melted as possible, so the best way is for it to be held down. You know as it's drying, so it can actually really like stick. You know you want the lace to melt, so i really wanted this lace to melt into her scalp. So i'm just taking my comb and you know making sure that every piece um that should be down is down and yeah. It'S really exciting. This wig looks amazing. I'M excited so now that her lace is on. We want to make sure that it is completely melted. Okay. So now i had her to take a scarf of hers and wrap it around her head so that we can make sure the lace completely dries and that the i'm sorry that the glue completely dries and that the lace melts into the glue um. So right now, i'm just showing you guys how i flat ironed. This wig from coryjboutique.com did buy this wig on sale. I believe it was 149, not a bad price at all for real chinese virgin extensions and not only extensions but to take it a step. Further. A wig that came bleached and plucked for her. You know so um, really really nice quality. Wigs definitely get you some, but after we show how we just flat iron, the wig and everything um i'll show you guys how we went ahead and cut off the lace and made the baby hairs. Yes, baby hair is coming up and no, they are not like. The last ones these baby hairs really fit her. I took my time i've been practicing, so i'm just excited for you guys to see the final results now it's time to cut off the lace. So, as you guys can see, i'm cutting very close to her hairline and i'm not cutting in a straight line at all, i'm just following the hairline for a very realistic look, and so after i cut off all the lace, i'm just going to go back in One more time and glue anything that isn't down, but i feel like should be down. You know anything that isn't supposed to be down, i'm cutting off and then i'm going back in just for that extra security to glue down those flaps. Just so you guys know what you see me doing with the back of the comb is literally like pushing the lace into her scalp. Once i see that the glue is completely clear that helps with the melting method by actually like pushing the lace into her scalp, it just ensures that it's down, but definitely make sure that your lace is i'm sorry make sure that your glue is clear. Before you begin to press your lace down with the comb, so after i went back and glued the edges, i also put her scarf on again so that we can dry her hair before these baby hairs. We wanted to make sure that the lace was completely down completely dry before manipulating um, the baby hair. So this is the part okay. So, first i'm going to just show you guys how i make her frontal look like scalp. You know by creating this part or whatever, and you know that foundation that we put on there earlier definitely helped. We didn't put any foundation on top of the lace as we normally would. We actually just put a foundation on the cap and also on the bottom of the lace, but not on top okay. So, as you can see, this lace is a really really good quality from corey's boutique dot com. It fits my skin color if it's her skin color, it fits all skin colors. You just have to have the correct foundation. I can't stress that enough and now for the baby hairs, so we're going for a very, very natural, looking baby hair. Look: okay, so we're gon na do pretty much three three little baby hairs on each side, um one being the sideburns which we're gon na keep pretty long, we're not going to swoop them we're not going to put a lot of gel on them. We'Re gon na keep them long and shaggy like a natural look, okay and then we're gon na do um a little swoopy swoopy thing to the side, just one, not too many um and we're gon na keep it very thin and also very natural. Looking by not putting a lot of eco style the last time, i used a lot of products and also cut them very short, and i made a lot of baby hair and it was not the right thing to do. But it was my first install on a white girl, so please forgive me guys and just know that this time is a thousand times better. These baby hairs look honestly really really good. Her hair is popping um and she was very happy with this. So yeah watch. My baby hair method um: this should work for you out there. If you are a white girl or if you just like the natural baby hair look. So how do you like your hair? I love my hair. It looks amazing. The part looks so great. No makeup. Yes, no makeup you have to let people know that that's so important yeah we didn't even put anything seriously. I mean no really bro. We really did because everybody put makeup on so like did not put makeup on. I really did not put any makeup on top. The lace is really good, though the lace i have super super like you have to. Let them know that [ __ ], like you, do because okay turn to somebody you have to let people know that. Oh yes, yeah, that's good! Yes, a nice, real wig, yes ma'am and then i'll tuck, the sides back. So you can just see like your baby hairs, took them all the way behind your ear, yeah right there boom. That'S it! That'S it like [ __ ]. Yes, oh shake it shake it shake it shake it. Yes that looks good. Look at how good this looks. Oh my god! Oh my god. Oh my gosh stop! I can't i can't like. I can't look at that. [ __ ],

Alicia Norman: She looks amazing! So glad there are hair artists who can help those of us with autoimmune disorders that affect our hair.

GruffChick Journal: To you, it's a wig. To her, it's a return of self esteem and confidence! Thank you for working your magic.

Megan Rivera: This is amazing, I'm so glad you're doing a series on caucasian girls, this is super helpful and interesting, thank you so much ♥♥♥

Meh!: Her whole attitude changed from when she was explaining her reason for getting a wig to showing off the final product. She was feeling herself, love it. ☺️

Tina's Crazy Life: I already have very fine thin hair. I have a couple medical issues that have made it worse. Ive always always just wanted thicker gorgeous hair. This series is amazing and im super grateful

Shania Hardie: This was literally so helpful! I shaved my head 4 months ago, and started wearing wigs like instantly (my hair was extremely damaged from bleaching) and it took me 3 out of those 4 months to finally make it look more realistic. Wish I could’ve found this video a whole lot sooner❤️

Ash: You did a wonderful job. I do feel like the wig density on white women should be as low as possible, maybe 150. When high density is used on white women it gives it that "wig" look.

Kira Love: I’m 17 years old and I have alopecia, it’s really hard for me to find hairstylists but people like you give me hope.

SARA FELDER: I have alopecia and I am seriously considering doing this. I do love being able to change up wigs depending on my mood, but I also miss having someone very very natural looking. Being able to wear a pony tail, or braids.... I have gotten pretty good with my daily full lace wigs application, but not having to do it daily would be a godsend.

EayrsUmmi: Honestly this is one of the best videos I have seen. A lot of us suffer hair loss due to getting older, auto immune disorders. Thank you for this

rosy Lee: My heart skipped a beat and I started to tear up When she lifted and showed her bald spots. so many people go through this and I've never realized. You do a wonderful job.

Nicki Jaycox: This video came up in my feed and I’m so glad I watched it. Everything you did was absolutely fantastic! I’ve always wanted to have my hair braided as you’re doing here. But just felt very timid about asking. I suffer with MS and the meds I’m on are thinning my hair something terrible. But I’m definitely going to subscribe. Thank you for sharing this beautiful talent you have.

johanna stollings: People really don't give enough credit to these hair artists. And yes ,its an art form. This is amazing

Tonnie Town: Your gonna have all us white girls flocking to you honey!! I love seeing you do this. There are a lot of health issues that cause hair loss, one of those being of course the need for Chemo. What a lot of people don't realize is that your hair doesn't always grow back the same after treatment, and sometimes barely at all.

Leia's Claws: I love how you took the time to customize the unit to each kinda person you work with ..it shows that you are a master at your work

Kdmil: This was amazing and you are making a difference for women who really need someone to step in and help at a difficult time. I have some age related hair loss and I am still trying to just work with my real hair. However, I am using Topik and my natural curl to try to cover and sometimes it gets scary wondering how far the hair loss will go. I appreciate your skill. Keep up this great work.

Mommy MUA: My heart hurt for this girl because I know it's probably so embarrassing, you did that sis!!! She's so happy!!!

Silvergirl7: I’m so impressed! Love the baby hairs, love the part, love the length, love the straightness of it, love that it DOESN’T look like a wig- love ALL OF IT! You nailed it girl! When we have real issues with our hair and a lot of us do- people like you - I should say sorceresses like you- change our whole existence for the better! Thank you for the magic you create ❤️

La'Joia Creary: You did amazing job !! Her hair came out so good !!❤️

ImJustAri: Girl you didn’t need to apologize, a lot of people don’t realize white girls do have baby hairs unfortunately a lot of us weren’t thought that you can use gel to tame them. I’ve seen a lot of girls who’s baby hairs were hit w the flat iron too many times and were just frizzy and all over the place bc they weren’t taught any different

Amber Alejandro: I'm glad that you mentioned the foundation part because a lot of influencers who do tutorials do NOT mention the importance of this step.

Kristin Dyer: I will DEFINITELY be buying wigs !!! I am learning how to install wigs as I need to shave my head so seeing this is incredible. Accepting, kind, talented, and BEAUTIFUL xoxo love it all keep it up girl

Jill Arthur: Installing a wig really is an art form!! That looks amazing! I have an autoimmune disease and in the last year I've lost a lot of hair. Lately I've been looking at wigs. It's so daunting!! There is so much to learn!

Jetcitygrl Jewels: Incredible job! You truly are a very talented artist. This must be one of the most rewarding careers out there, you get to create AND help people feel good about themselves. Thank you for sharing!

Jaclyn Radcliff: This exactly what I searched, "melted hairline on a white girl". Thank you!

Trish Raniszewska: Thank you so much for doing these! I've learned so much from you as well as others doing wig tutorials. Thanks to you guys I'm actually getting pretty good at this. I do need to get one of YOUR wigs one day though! You are AWESOME thank you again for the WHITE girl videos! It is a little different on a white person so im very thankful for everything I've learned!

Luna: This is such an interesting process to watch! I'm a hair stylist by trade but have never done any kind of hair installs, wig or otherwise. This video was extremely helpful and I'm sure it was a great experience for the lovely woman you were working on. This kind of service is life changing for people, we're all lucky to have talented individuals like you around! <3

Jenn Powell: Love this! Your client was very brave and inspiring to do a video like this and you did an amazing job! I really appreciate that you talk about learning continuously and improving your craft. There’s no need to apologize, you are awesome!

Bee Grace: I bet the impact you gave this girl once she not only saw herself in the mirror, but lived out the capabilities of having fresh hair was priceless! She looked beautiful and you using your gifts to impact others is incredible.

Islandchic 786: Amazing just love to see women helping each other to feel good about themselves ♥️

Jacqueline: Gosh... My hair falls so much with pcos. I would consider doing this. It looks beautiful. Thank you for sharing x

Terri Kash: I have always wondered how a lace front was installed. Amazing process and the results are astonishing! <3

Celestial Fox: This is honestly so helpful. I feel like I struggle so much getting my wigs to looks natural and this helps a lot.

Angela Johnson: Love this look for her! Really looks natural.

AFAskygoddess: You're a cross between an artist and a magician. I never knew this type of wig existed. YouTube suggested this video for me. Im sure your artistry really changes your clients self confidence.

Songs: I wanted to see the full length. And from behind too. Beautiful work on the install. Great instructions. She looks amazing. And you’re so talented with installs !!

cristie tidwell: Thank you for this. I lost all my hair after I got covid. I didn't know what was happening. I still have yet to wear a wig because of not knowing how to make a darker lace look natural on my fair skin. I see now there is hope and while I get better and wait for my hair to grow back I will learn all this I have searched the internet and you are the first I've ran across. So thank you

I'm KtLn, the Run-A-Muck Muse: Your talent is such a blessing to any woman that needs help with any hair issues from illnesses. God bless you!

vernasgirl: Great job sis! You truly did "feed the children" & "gave her live"! Wigs for vanity is one thing, but a wig for health reasons is in a whole different class! God Bless you and your calling!

June penny The Hair Chiq: Omg i need you!!!!! My channel is mostly about hair loss.. i need this in my life.. Question.. can you melt a hair topper???

Kristi Piccone: She looks gorgeous What a sweet and caring stylist! My friends 5 year old has alopecia and is so sensitive to the stares she gets. I wish she could find someone this talented where we live.

Deez Neez-AzMySoulBreakzFree: I loved the meticulous time and effort you put into your work. Beautifully done

Natalie Jill: You did an amazing job!! I want to wear a wig so bad! But I feel so self conscious. I have worn glue in tracks for years and I think I could do this. I’m just nervous of someone saying something to me I’ve been a cosmetologist for 10 years but never has experience with a wig!

Cyn Rez: More of these please I swear black women are magic ✨ I want to get into lace fronts but these are the videos I never see thank you

Joanne Madden: Please!! You do not need to apologize for working on perfecting a technique. I'm truly in awe of your crazy skills, I really am. I subscribed to your channel, you just make me feel calm and good, you give off over good vibes. Bless you❤

Nik emko: What a beautiful job!! My friend is 74 and suddenly loosing her hair, she is so devastated. I wish I lived close enough to your shop. I would have you do a wig for her. You do a great job!!!

noelle agape: Very meticulous work! I'm very impressed with the skill and patience required for this very natural look.

Mia DeMelo: The client NEVER stopped talking! Beautiful job❤️

Victoria Blanton: I love this so much. You are the sweetest woman and so talented. I love these wigs and these install videos are so thorough! I have really bad postpartum hair loss and I'm looking for a wig to wear to get my confidence back. Thank you so much for this video.

katlady5000: Nice install. I've a white woman and due to meds for MS I have lost hair so I do synthetic wigs and I have used the bald cap method before it really creates a seamless transition. The baby hairs look very natural. Nice work.

Kimberly Padilla: I have alopecea universalis and wesr wigs everyday and this was so nice to watch and see how happy she was after you’re doing amazing work by this. It’s hard to explain the importance of hair once you’ve lost it all . Subscribed to your channel

Wendy Illa: This video hit home for me. I'm slowly losing my hair to autoimmune disorders too. This gives me hope. You did an amazing job!

Julie Nupp: Wow! So natural looking! She looks so amazing! You can see the change in your clients attitude before compared to when you were finished. She's glowing because of your mad hair skills!!!

Rachel Zamstein: Also I love her makeup and she’s very brave to show her face- many clients with hair loss choose not to which is ok too. But she’s helping others to feel seen.

Rebecca Wood: Absolutely AMAZING job!!! And she is stunning. I wish I could have you do a wig for me!!!!

Rosa Menchen: Thank you so much! I understand the struggle. I had an alopecia flare up :just before my wedding to my wonderful Big Dude ( we will be married for 32 years in October). A gracious friend gave me a full head of hair that lasted for quite awhile, even through long workdays and weekends! Blessed are yo for helping this young lady!

Lynn Risor: Wow, what a process! You did a wonderful job!!

neon nyx: I totally understand how you feel about this I have issues growing hair but it's because I had three brain surgeries and I just wanted to let you know you have an absolute beautiful face and rocked your hair before the wig and you rock it after. I wish I had such a beautiful structure to my face as you do yours. I get it's hard to see the beauty when it seems so much worse in your head but you truly are beautiful, don't let your doubts tell you otherwise ♥️♥️♥️

Brittany Norenberg: Omgsh bless her heart. She is absolutely beautiful! And that confidence, you helped do that! Bless you both.

Kimberly Clark: It looks absolutely amazing!!! You did a fabulous job!!! What a Blessing you are to others!!!

KD Nrublaw: This video touches my heart on so many levels. My eyes are watering... Much love and respect ladies.

liza123jax: Just found your videos, absolutely talented! I love that you have a systematic approach. I am asian, 55, and have hairloss. How long does the install last? Any comments regarding comfort? Can you cover what happens after 1-week, 2-weeks,...1-month, and more? And you are in Orlando?

Sarah Wilson: As a white girl who loves to rock baby hair.... THANK U FOR THIS TUTORIAL!!

Twocolrs: You did an AMAZING job, excellent tutorial

win win: What a beautiful job you did. You are at the top of your craft!

Lindsey Stutts: As a white girl that is exactly how our baby hair grows it was spot on!

Autumn Rose: Yes, yes, YES! Hair and wigs are so much more than beauty; it can be what gives someone the motivation to keep their head up and do their damn thing.

Zmoody Zmooda: So glad to see all this love going on in the comments. I'm a white girl and I shave my head pretty often because I have severe scalp issues (undiagnosed psoriasis/sebbhoric dermatitis, undiagnosed because the only dermatologist here is 5hrs away and no thank you lol) and that's just the easiest way to get to it and be able to take care of it. So glad we can all keep each other looking and feeling beautiful no matter the color of our skin, that's exactly how it's supposed to be. Much love to all. <3

Ann Fehrman: I have alopecia and wish I could trust someone around my area to be this understanding of my condition and how to handle it! I loved the video! But just also makes me sad... I literally resort to cutting my own hair and doing my own things to hide my issues because a lot of people just don't understand!

Jeanne Weigel: Love this!!!! You do a really good job!!

Jasmine Marie: I bleached my hair and it all broke off when I was 13. I had just moved to a new school district and if I had been able to do this wig thing, my life would have gone in a different direction Lol Looks amazing

happymama: I LOVE the way you hyped that woman up and showed her nothing but love

Just Julee: I don’t have alopecia but I have extremely thin, fine hair. I’ve been trying to find a solution for years. Seeing this video gives me hope that one day I can appear to have hair too.

Rikki Hurt: My daughter suffers from alopecia as well and is losing hair. You did a beautiful job! Xo

Bobbi Buttons: I’d love to have something like this done. I have very fine natural blonde hair and developed alopecia. I ended up shaving it off as at the same time I developed severe scalp sweating and I ended up where I just had limp, lank hair with bald arches. Now I wear wigs but would love something semi permanent

Andrea Welch: Thank you for these videos. I hope you know that what you are doing can be life changing for some people. I just had to express my gratitude to you

Mudrabbit: This is amazing. And you are so good at what you do. Love it ❤️

Sydney H: You did so great on the baby hairs this time around. I would love to see you work on more white women as you perfect this technique.

positivelybeautiful1: Wow, Koree has a gift and a talent to help women to have beautiful hair. Worth every penny!

Vicky Syndergaard: Thank you so much for sharing this! You are amazing! I would love to try this!

Beverly Jordan: Just lovely. So nicely done. You are a true hair artist.

Sinndy Morr: Great Job! So many people could be given the boost of confidence this would provide.

E Stephens: Looks fantastic! How many days at a time can you wear a wig for, and once you get used to it, what's the install/removal time each time you want to put on/take off? Thanks!

Yaya's Playhouse: I love that your learning on all hair types!! I know some people that won't work on "white" girls hair because they say "they don't need white people's money" which is just ignorant to me and shows the hate in their heart!! God don't like ugly!! You did a wonderful job on her hair!!

TracyTheRed: This is so good! She looks stunning! Your work is fantastic!

Katy Garza-Bair: Outstanding!! So nice…you did an awesome job

RainwaterPearls: I am sk happy to see your doi g reviews for white girls. In struggling with Trichotillomania and am about to have to shave my head for the second time to let my hair regrow. This is super helpful.

shiboof: WOW, this is amazing art. Truly, clever and awesome artist and recipient! Love this.

MagpieRat: I don't know why the algorithm recommended this for me, but i'm glad it did! She looks amazing, this is absolute art! ❤

Ashlei Michael: Love her reaction! This look was amazing.

Beauty with Daj & Val: Can you please do a video on safely removing lace glue? Thank you!

Des Des: That looks *AMAZING*!!!! thank you so much for sharing this!!!!

Cindy Slates: Wow! That is true art! You did an amazing job!

red mercury: i cant believe how well you braid. it must take you no time to do a whole head of hair. and with those long nails. that is TALENT.

Faith-NOT-fear: She looks amazing! A few questions. When this wig starts to fall off, can she have it put back on or will she have to buy another one? How long can she wear it before it starts to come off? And finally, is there a way to use a wig in the front of my hair? My scalp seems to be thinning near the front and this would really bring my hair back. Thanks!

Baybee Banks: That looks good. I’ve never really been a fan of the T part tho

Dawna H: Wow you did a wonderful job. It looks so natural and amazing. I like how you did the baby hairs on her.
