I look like a freaking condom, a talking condom. Let me just hey kings and queens. It'S your girl, nae nae here and if you can't recognize me right now, it is because i am wearing my very first wig and i'm let me apologize in advance y'all, because i know this video is going to be so chaotic. This is my first wig ever i've, never worn wigs in my entire life haven't had to sew in anything like that. So this is going to be an experience. I'Ve honestly been watching a bunch of arnero mons videos. I'Ve just felt this inspiration to try and do my wig that i've actually had for over a year just kind of sitting. You know my closet, and so i decided that today, i'm gon na review this wig and i'm gon na try and style it and put it on and see what it actually looks like now. This is not on securely right now, you just snatched it off. On camera, like i showed it and don't give a, i haven't done anything to this probably seen this wig in my tik tok videos. If you haven't seen my videos go check them out because they're twice as chaotic and hilarious as this video is gon na be but um. The only thing i have done is, if you can see right here, i have cut down the lace a little bit, and that was just really so i could just play with it in my videos and nothing special most of the time i just concealed it with, Like a headband or just a little head scarf, but i really want to actually try and lay this down like i said i've really been inspired, so i don't know how this is going to turn out y'all, but let's try this first. Let me just give you guys some details about this wig, as you guys can tell from the description i did get this wig from amazon, as you guys can tell it's a pretty cheap wig and i wanted a cheap wig for my first one. Just because i wanted to you know, play around with it kind of just learn how they work, since i've never really had one before and just see, if i kind of like my hair being straight, and if this is really something that i can manage over time, I will put the link in the description below, but the details for it just reading off the description here. It is a black short bob wig with brazilian virgin human hair does have a lace front, it's a very short lace front, but it does have one. It'S supposed to be pre-plucked with baby hair. There'S no baby hairs on this at all, but it says that it's supposed to come with baby hairs. I got the 14 inch, but the other ones that they have come shorter. Also, this is a 13 by 4 lace. Part, i don't know what that means, and it says it's 150 density, but just judging by all the other wigs that i've seen it's it's a really light density. It'S not super thick. It doesn't look too realistic if i'm just judging it off of like what i've seen on youtube, but i thought it was a pretty decent wig for 80.. So before i start styling it and everything i do have to warn you guys. Like i said this is my first wig. I have no experience all my experience that i'm gon na be displaying today. Just comes from me watching other youtube videos, so i hope you do learn something from this, but just know that what i'm doing may not be right and feel free to put in the comments below you know, like some tips for me, because i really want to Get the hang of like doing my actual hair in wig styles, so that i can use this to protect my hair but yeah. If you have any tips, go ahead and put those in the description below alright. So, let's get started. I have um parted and just braided my hair to the back, and then i have all the extra hair and like this little bun that i have tucked back here before i get started with actually styling my wig. I have to explain why i can't exactly wear my wig like most people do so, hopefully you guys can see, but if you were to just look at my hairline, if i were to slick all this hair back most people, i actually have a widow's peak here, But i choose to pluck that just because i already have such a small forehead. Most people complain that they have, you know really big foreheads. They don't know how blessed they are, because i have a pretty much three head like, as you can see, my all four fingers don't fit here and along with that, my sides come down pretty far. So that's not you know a bad thing for most people. I'Ve. Never really minded it, but i noticed that when i put on my wig, so if i were to put on this wig - and i were to put it - you know with where the front of my hairline is like - i said this is supposed to be pre-plugged. So if i were to blind that up right there, now that's a pretty good match, you would see that my edges come out beyond the wick part here. So if i were to try to move it, the wig down to cover all of my natural edges, then it would come all the way down here and i'd still have some little hairs poking out, because i i really have deep side. What do you call these things? I deep headline: hairline yeah, deep hairline that wasn't a lot of help exactly for this kind of problem. So hopefully, while i'm doing all of this, it will benefit somebody else who has either the really. I don't know how to describe it really far down hairline or if you just have like a small forehead, there's two ways that i've learned that you can do it. You can either leave some of your natural edges out or you can pluck the wig enough to where you can have it along your natural hairline. What i think i'm going to do is leave out my natural edges. It'S probably not the smartest thing to do, because you can get your hair stuck in the glue and like ripped out, but because i just have so much edges to like work with for me. Personally, that's what i'm going to try just to see if i can have like a more natural looking hairline, along with getting to save as much as the lace that i possibly can without further ado, most people that i've seen say that you don't have to wash It out of the box, but because i've just damaged it so much or just got it dirty after you know using it for so many videos. I do want to wash it and try and get like this little top part a little flatter yeah. So i don't have a wig head to begin with, so i will be using my handy dandy knee to pluck these knots and we'll see how that goes. So i didn't know that my camera was not recording but pretty much. What i was saying is that i'm gon na go through this kind of lace front here and even though it's pre-plugged i'm just going to try and make it look as natural as possible. This part that you kind of see here it looks pretty good. So i probably won't have to plug very much here, but as for this front part, i do want to take it look as natural as possible, at least within my um kind of expert range, at least, but this lace front. I really have to be careful because it's not very dense, i would say it's pretty. The hair strands look pretty far apart, so it's not gon na be a lot of plucking, but i am just gon na try and get it to look. You know a little less exact because it has a curve kind of here, but i want it to look a little more natural. So i'm just going to use my leg here since i don't have a cone head to put it on, and hopefully this won't take long and my camera won't die as well. Now, as we get into the wash part of everything i didn't wash it straight up. Like how i would regular hair, because i figured it'd be easier in a bowl and that's the same technique that i would be using to dye the hair - and i also didn't want to dry it out. So i only put a little bit of shampoo in there and maybe some conditioner, but as you can see, it's not really mixing very well because it is kind of a thick conditioner. Despite being this, like really warm water, but you can see after a while that i just ended up applying the conditioner directly to the hair anyways. Although this method probably wasn't the most practical, it did work out pretty well in the end, as far as getting my hair cleaned. So, after that, i took it to the sink to wash out, but i eventually just washed it out in the tub, because it's going down the drain a bit but moving on to actually dying the wig. This is a dye bottle from the dark, lovely collection, and if you have seen my other video, you know that this is not a black owned brand, but for the sake of this video i just needed some wig dyed. So this is the method that i had watched from arnel armand's video. She is not the creator of this technique, but she uses it all the time on her channel and she doesn't use it to go from a dark color to a slightly lighter color. But i thought that this would be the most easiest technique to try, even though she's never used it and it didn't end up working out. Unfortunately, but like i said this is all the learning process. Everything was to just learn from my mistakes and move forward in the next time that i do this method. My kind of hint that this wasn't going to work was that all of the color was still in the water. Usually, when you try this method, there shouldn't be any color left in the bucket that you're using because it will be absorbed into the hair. After letting this sit for a while, i couldn't tell if it had actually died, because it was going from a darker color to a slightly lesser darker color, but i just continue to pursue and again washed it out and then pat dried it with a towel. My gosh, i just realized - i was struggling through all of that, and none of it recorded pretty much. All i did was just comb it while wet, which is like really uncharted territory, because i've never ever in a million years would think to take a comb. To my wet hair and just bring it through, like i just did but um i just combed it all down, and then i did my little part too and then also i don't think i dyed this hair like at all, but it's okay, because at least now I know that this method may work for, like you know blonde to coloring, but not for dark hair to lesser dark hair, but anyways i'm gon na just go in and blow that dry the rest of this hair. Now, hopefully, it's a little easier now that it's all combed through okay, so i got it probably i'd, say 90 percent dry and i'm noticing it's starting to frizz a little. So i'm gon na put just a little bit of coconut oil, like 100 extra virgin coconut oil to kind of help, the hair out, because it definitely looks i don't know it looks dry to me. But i don't want to weigh down the wig at all. So it's literally just going to be light melt. Oh that made the hair feel really good yeah, so that oil made it feel a lot nicer. It probably weighed down the hair because it coconut oil is kind of a thick oil, but i'd rather have it looked shiny than be dry now. One thing i'm going to mention is that i probably should have bleached the knots and i honestly didn't know what knots were until i really started looking at this wig, you can probably see it like the knots. Don'T look natural so what i'm gon na do right now to try and combat that, and also just make the lace more natural is take my concealer i'm either going to take my concealer or my foundation and just kind of like apply that on the lace. As you guys have probably seen other people do, i could not get all of that petroleum jelly out of there. So hopefully that doesn't end up being a problem, but if you guys see the little dots, that's why all right? Hopefully, you guys can see this, but i just tried to go in there with my foundation. I used a foundation that was a little bit lighter than my skin tone. I'M not sure if it made a huge difference, but hopefully it'll make just the lace a little bit more like my skin. So let's see that looks good. While this is still drying. I think i'm going to go ahead and put my wig cap on and start applying that which is crazy, because it's really happening y'all we're really doing this. So i got my hair all oiled up lubed and then this in a ponytail and would get a fresh stocking and press this bad boy on here. Oh yeah, now we're really working so i'm gon na do that trick where you put it over your head and then you know you cut out your ears and then you put the gel over here, but i have to figure out how to get my edges out Of this, i'm actually gon na pull this back and then i'm gon na decide which edges that i want out of this thing and then hopefully we're gon na go from there. Okay, i try to make them as even as possible, but i try it at least. Okay, i tried, i think funny part is when i was a kid and even still now i used to be like really subconscious about my sideburns because, like i had really hairy sideburns, so i remember when i was a kid. I took a razor because i didn't know about eyebrows shavers back then i like shaved all down here and like when it started to grow. It was super obvious that i had shaved it because my hair was just so thick right here before and i was i just remember being so embarrassed and i just never shaved it again, because i was afraid that i was gon na grow out and look like. I was, you know, becoming a man and growing a full beard or something anyways. Okay. I know i probably look crazy, but i promise there's a method to my madness. I promise so i just went ahead and took the edge control and just kind of put all my edges back and then also put all the ones that i want out forward. So anyways i'm gon na pull this forward and i'm gon na try to pull it over. All of this, like i said, i'm gon na make sure that i have space to where i can punch out holes for my ear and i'm gon na. Take my god to be glued, so i'm gon na start going in and apply. Oh, my god. It'S so cold! No one told me it was this cold. Oh, this was so weird. Oh my god. Look at my tiny little ears. I don't know i told y'all from the very beginning this is gon na, be so chaotic i mean look at my face. I look like a freaking condom, a talking condom. Oh my god. I'Ve watched arnelle amman do this like 50 billion times, and i thought oh man, you know i could watch her and i could do this. It'S not as easy as they make it. Look on youtube. Okay, it's not! I don't know what so i just went back and watched her tutorial, and i realized that i was supposed to cut out the ear holes before i put on the got to be glued, so i'm gon na just cut those out real quick. Oh my god. This took forever to dry, like this part, was fine and then, when i got to the edges like it just took forever, but they're done they're. These ones are kind of sticky still, but that's okay and now we're gon na cut off this front part matter of fact before i do that i am gon na grab some more foundation and apply it to my lace, just in case like it shows. So let me cut this off, so i'm gon na grab the sharpest scissors i have, which are very sharp and kind of just start going in. Oh, my god, these are not sharp enough. Oh my god! Let me see if these work. Oh look now i don't told you guys, i am not a professional. Now look! Okay, this part as y'all see this y'all see it is you know it's not cool and all that, but this the fact that this part actually worked. The fact that i have my natural edges out right now and i cut them off - i mean you got to take the good with the bad or the bad with the good. Whatever the saying is so hopefully, hopefully i can avoid that on this side. So i can still save you know the edges on this, but i mean for it to come back, come out like this and me to have the edges, i'm i'm happy about that. So i'm trying to do this side and y'all i've. Every video i watched every video i watched they were like make sure you have, you know, really sharp scissors. I know what they're talking about now. It'S chaotic y'all, i told you, i told y'all, it was gon na be chaotic. I told y'all, but let me just finish this and stop talking. This part did come out good. My scissors, like i said, they're, not sharp, so i did end up cutting off a little bit of my hair. That was not my fault. It'S literally like two or three strands, which is exactly why i don't recommend this because you don't want to be cutting off your edges like i just did, but y'all don't think i'm crazy, but i have this little. You guys see this part. I don't know if that's gon na actually make a difference, but i have this idea to take a little bit of this and like try and like stick it on there. Honestly, if i look crazy, i'ma just take it off, but if it works, then it works. So i'm gon na try and experiment with that and then i'm gon na get back to you guys, y'all. I was doing so good. I was doing so good. I don't know why, but the lace is like starting to pull up, maybe because of the technique. I'M using uh, i mean this part, it looks stupid but hopefully it'll cover whatever it needs to cover and this side i don't know what happened, but anyways we're gon na just keep rolling through the punches. This is still gon na turn out. You know to be amazing: fire wig, i don't care, i'm gon na make this sh work, so i'm just go ahead and plop this on and secure it put it in those i mean so far. You know it looks like it'll be all right, but i guess we just won't know until we put this on honestly, i'm gon na just slap this wig on, like i'm gon na just glue it down and fix it from here, because i can't see the hairline So again, i'm gon na grab my got to be glued, and even though i just cleaned my fingers, we're gon na you know take another nice glob of all of this start laying it down. I need to start putting it so thick on my fingers, so i'm gon na just apply it everywhere, get it real tacky so that it sticks this better, come out fire. I swear. Oh, my so y'all it is hours later and i try to just you know. Let the hair sit and i put a scarf on it, and i made a big mistake by doing that, because the glue got stuck to the scarf, and so i ended up pulling it up again. But what i did was go back and apply more glue and then just blow dry it and that seemed to work which is funny because that's what everyone had done before and i thought that i was doing, but it's glued down now it doesn't look very good And, to be honest, i'm just going to take this as a learning experience. I know i made like a lot of mistakes, but i still think that it turned out wearable. At least i don't know for my first time trying to do this. It didn't turn out absolutely terrible. You know it's it's glued down, at least to some degree, i'm going to try and customize this front part still, but it was just a real struggle and i had tried. I had turned off the camera because i was just you know, applying applying and it just wasn't working. I was getting frustrated, so i had to take a break for a little while, but i'm gon na keep working on it. I'M gon na try and customize this front part as much as i can. I realized that i didn't bring it forward enough. Also. I should have kind of like not thinned out this front part too much, but i'm gon na just play with it again start tweaking it and see. If i can, try and i've honestly been working on this hair for way longer than i planned to, but it did teach me a lot, so i'm okay with that. So let me try and tweak this front part all right y'all. This video has been way way too long, like i did not intend for it to be this long, and i did not intend to struggle this much and spend this time much time just installing this wig, but i think considering all that i went through this - did Not turn out bad, like okay in person, you can totally check me, like lace, lace, wear, lace there for sure 100, but just looking in the mirror - and i mean i can't like you - if i pull this back, it looks. But if i just you know, cover it a little and you know you see only this part, it doesn't look bad, but as far as installing this goes, i'm happy with it. I'M probably gon na know play around. But if you stay to the end of this, thank you so much for watching. Please like this video. If i, i went through a whole lot, so the least you could do is please like this video and go ahead and support some other girls who do wigs, because this is not easy at all and since she's made it to the end of this video. Don'T forget to subscribe, please. It really means a lot when people do subscribe and thank you guys for watching i'll see you in the next video bye. You
