Hi guys love to here and today, I'm going to show you something that a lot of you have already asked about. I'M going to show you how to cut a lace front wig to look like your hairline. So we'll begin and you can take notes enjoy and let me know if you have any more questions. First, I've got ta get bald. I typically do a small bun at the back, it's easier to kind of tuck in that way. Now for wig cap when cutting a lace front wig, it's very important that you don't have any hairs sticking out from under the wig cap. Why? Because you don't want to cut your hair instead of cutting the lace so make sure you've got all of those tiny little hairs, tucked away as best as possible and that you're right at your hairline, I'm bald. Okay. Now this is my new Matilda wig from art awaits. I just love their ways and the Matilda is probably my favorite thus far, so this is brand new. Just out of the packaging, never even tried it on before. Well, here it is luscious, looks fun color. Now I'm going to tighten it just a bit, select one of the inner options for both sides and pull it back and up to the point, I want it yeah, it's kind of scary. It'S like looking out through a veil. Okay, now best, if you have just some little scissors because you're going to be cutting new your face, you don't want really big ones that just cause disaster. I first like to cut just around the eyes so that I can actually see that her okay hi again. I can see you so now make sure the line is right, where you want it to be a natural forehead and now you're going to start trimming it to go along with your actual hairline, some places you may actually choose to cut back into the wig. If we're giving it a more natural to your hairline cut around the ears, the most tricky part, okay, so there I've got my basic cut and it fits perfectly to my hairline. So it looks very natural, as opposed to weeks that you don't get to cut, and it's just a very straight line across at this point, I'm going to tighten it again, just a couple more in okay, this side there that way, it'll stay in place by itself. I won't even have to worry about it and now a great thing with these: you can just mess with it until you like it and voila, I went from having short, very thin black hair to beautiful curly brown hair that has more body than any natural hair. I'Ve ever seen, but I love it and that's the best thing about wigs. You don't ever have to settle with one color. You can switch it up anytime. You want and become someone who, every day thanks for tuning in - and I hope this lesson on how to cut your very own lace, front wig has been informative and that you can use it for all your future cosplays zero

hermesrunning: thank you so much for this video! i would have never felt confident cutting the lace on my own wig without seeing you do it. i kept everything you said in mind and it turn out great. thank you so much for this!!

Isabella Demarko: this was really helpful, thanks! and it looks stunning! xXx

KMnomokis: Aw, thank you SO much! I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the videos! As far as tips go, start small and build up. There's no way anyone can suddenly have an entire closet full of great costumes (unless you're, like, REALLY rich. Lol), but you can collect things one by one and eventually find that you have a great collection of props/wigs/etc for your cosplays! Shop on Arda Wigs for quality, affordable wigs, and check out Eyesbright for great contact lenses!

Garrett Johnston: Wig tape is also amazing for securing the front guys! Plus, it's inexpensive- a cheap solution for busy days!

Connie Keane: Well chosen, a natural glamorous look that's quite versatile. As always, thanks for sharing.

KMnomokis: Oh, I totally understand! I was really scared that I'd mess up my first one, but after that, I was very confident! Lace front wigs are great! I wouldn't go any other way. ^_~

fancypapercutz: ohmygod, thank you so much! I was always afraid of buying lace front because I wasn't sure how they were to cut/style but thanks to your video I think i can handle it, also I might check out arda-wigs now since that's where you get them! :D

nghome1: Hey Lopti! I've really enjoyed watching your videos, (I literally watched all of them in one day because I loved them so much. <3) and just recently subscribed to your channel. I was just wondering if you had any tips for beginning cosplayers. My sister and I are thinking about buying contacts and wigs for ourselves but we're not completely sure where to start and how to decide. Do you have any suggestions? Anything helps. :) Thanks a bunch!

jude Alexander: More wig tutorials please!!! And masquerade fun too

Jade Garven: This is a great video, thankyou! I'm so desperate to give front lace wig a go but at the same time I'm scared that it won't feel right on my head, its because I'm so used to wearing wigs with fringes. What does it feel like on your head like near the front where the hair line is? Does it feel like it could easily slip back or? Just nervous I buy a front lace wig and I fail at it and can't wear it again.

KMnomokis: Thank you so much!!! Really -- you guys are too kind. I really appreciate your uplifting words. :D

DustySeven7: I wonder how your husband reacted to this one.

KMnomokis: You know, it kinda does look like her hair! Hah.

rae: is this color "spanish brown"?

KMnomokis: It's from Arda-Wigs

Ithrenniel: I don't really... understand why lacefront is so different from other wigs. I mean, I can see that i looks more natural and all, but I don't understand why... You cut along the hairline of the wig anyway, so are'nt we all cutting the lace in the same way, so why even have some much lace to begin with? I don't get it ^^' But it looks very nice! ^^

PirateToGypsy: did you go to this years DragonCon?

ninja: You look like Lana del Rey

Sara Jane: Are you Scandinavian or Irish?

wigconsult: can i chat with you some time??

Abbey F: Your picture made me hit my computer.
