Hi guys, it's kind walking back to my channel, I'm so so excited about today's video, because I have been getting requests to do a hairstyle like this for so so long. You guys know that I am a big big fan of disco music. It'S my favorite genre of music, and so I've been wanting to do a video kind of serving you disco, diva fantasy. For so long now, I've just been waiting for the right way to do it on and the other day it finally came in the mail. I love the way it turned out. I feel like I say this in so many of my videos that I think this is my favorite wig that I've styled in a minute now the hair is from a company called powder, grim deets, actually, two weeks that I stuck, I know it's over the top, But that's how fast divine you go. I came in a really beautiful wavy pattern, but I decided to curl it a little bit more because I wanted a tighter curl I've seen a lot of videos on YouTube people use like bobby pins or like tin, foil or even like a straw, something really small To wrap the hair around that can be a good route to go down if you want a more tight curl, but I wanted something a little bit loose kind of like Diana Ross's hair. So I found these on Amazon. They are a centimeter in diameter and you just wrap the hair around this I'll show you how they work later on before we get into the bail. I hope you guys can all give it a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and, let's jump into the tutorial, you guys. The way that we're working on today was said by my friend Darnell over at powder room G and it's this gorgeous dark chocolate, brown wig. Now she said over two of them. I made a little special request. I told him that I wanted to give my followers a wig stocking video and when I put these wigs on, I swear I almost gagged a little bit at how gorgeous they looked. Let me get my wake up, so I'm looking a little like the guy from Oana right now, but I wanted to show you what this wig looks like straight out of the bag. It'S got. These really beautiful big full waves actually a little bit of a shame that I'm gon na be changing the curl pattern on this, but I wanted to do something a little different. I'Ve picked up some of these things on Amazon they're, like those little bending curly things you'll see how they work later on, but I'm gon na be using these to give the wig a little bit more of a tighter curl and I'll show you how that's done So, like I said I got this pack of like hair curlers. I don't know what they call at Amazon. I also have another time from another packet I bought. I tried this before and ten was not enough, so I have two packs so twenty in total. So I'm gon na open and show you how they work, but what you do is you've got a little section of hair and it's gon na start with the front. I'M gon na take a little clip and clip the rest of that hair away. So that is just not move away and I'm gon na take a little tube and start to wrap the hair around it and I'm starting with the bottom just so that it's really tight, as opposed to starting at the top and rolling it down. Just like that, and then what you can do, since they have like a wire in it, is you can fold it over itself, just like that, you'll notice, I'm not pinning these into the wig block. The only thing that's kind of keeping it together is the bendiness of the wires. So later, you'll see that I can actually take this off the wig stand and then dip it in hot water, which I'll show you I'm just gon na keep going around the whole entire wig. Just like this and I'll show you what it's like when we're done. Okay guys, so this is what the wig now looks like. After all, that hair was wrapped up in those curlers, as you can see the yellow ones. I really had to like be really stingy about and put lots of hair into it. Hopefully, it still turned out cool, so what I'm gon na do now is I'm actually gon na take out all of these pins, because I'm not gon na steam. This wig, with my steamer, like I do normally, I actually wanted to show you guys a different technique, which is basically just dipping this in really hot water. So I'm gon na take this off of the wig block, because I don't want to get this thing wet. Okay, so I'm heating up some water in a kettle. You can also use the stove and boil water on there, but I did not feel like waiting that long and then you can see. I have my wig in a little bowl that has like holes in it. I don't know what the hell it's called and then I'm just gon na take my kettle and then I'm just gon na pour boiling hot water all over it, making sure to get each and every pair making sure nothing is dry. Then all I'm gon na do is take my wig and then just pop it on a towel to dry overnight, and it's literally that easy, okay guys. So it's made overnight and this wig is fully dry now well, not fully dry it. I can still tell by feeling the inside of the cap that parts of it are still a little bit damp, but I'm pretty confident that the hair is gon na have the effect that we want. So we can take it out of these little curlers. Now I'm gon na start unwrapping it very gently, and this is what that curl looks like coming out of that little curler, but the magic of it all is what we're gon na do. Is we're gon na take this and I'm gon na separate it with my fingers a little just like that? I'M not gon na brush it out with a comb or a brush or anything just using my fingers because of the way that the curl pattern is you? Don'T want to get it really frizzy. You just want to separate it with your fingers, and you can see it's nice and fluffy just like how we wanted it to be so. I'M just gon na go around the whole entire wig, taking out each strand of hair and then going through it with my fingers, alright guys so I've taken down all that hair and I'm just giving the wig a little shape to make sure all of the strands Are nice and loose? I think it looks amazing and there's no teasing no hairspray at all of this. It'S super soft bouncy and you have so much volume and fullness. Now, if you were listening closely, you may remember that in the beginning I told you. I have two of these wigs and I've already done all the hard work of curling and boiling. Just like I did this one so now, I'm gon na show you how to suck them. So the first thing that I'm actually gon na do is I'm gon na. Go ahead and cut off all of this excess lace. Okay, so now you're gon na want to choose a wig. That'S gon na go on the top and the bottom. I put our bottom wig on my wig stand now by the way. If one of your wigs is a lace front and the other is not you're gon na want to put the lace front on top, so that's gon na be the hairline that you're gon na have and now the challenge is to put the top wig on. In a way that is gon na cover the entire hairline of the base wig. So if you can just put it right on top, maybe just a centimetre forward to cover that up and I'll pin that in place. Really, since these wigs are the same, color same length, they're really gon na blend together so easily, the only source of you know, breaking the illusion, is gon na, be the lace on the base wig. So that's the only thing that we have to really care about. Hiding so this here is the cap of the top wig, I'm gon na pull it back as far as it can go and just use that comb to grip it into place with the bottom wig. Of course, you can't rely on the combs too much so get a bunch of bobby pins, ideally dark ones to blend in and then just really pin it everywhere. You can. I know it can get messy with all the hair everywhere, but I'm trying to find the sections where one wig starts and the other stops, especially this cap right here you can see this is where the top wigs cap is that I'm gon na bobby pin into The bottom wig the great thing about this style is that since it is so messy and so fluffy, you can kind of get away with things not being exactly perfect. But you still kind of want to pin in place because you don't want the top wake. Sliding back or the bottom wave deciding forward alright and that's pretty much how you stock two weeks together. I think maybe the last thing that we can do is add just a little bit of teasing. I know it's already so big. It can't even fit on camera, but I want to get a little bit of height off of the top, so I'm gon na get a couple of strands here and there this really lightly backcomb at the roots, I'm not gon na back home. Every single section, like I do in a lot of my videos, since I don't want to have to smooth this out, I want to keep the combing through this wig as little as possible. All I'm doing is really really lightly back combing at the roots. Just to get a little bit more volume up, there think this wig is done, I'm not even gon na put any hairspray or anything on it, since it's already so full, and I just want to keep that bounciness and that movement. I love the way this week turned out. It was so so easy. Let me go put on some makeup and some clothes and I'll be right back to show you what it looks like on. This is what the wig looks like on you guys. I love the way it looks. It turns out that the boiling method was actually really effective. It didn't even matter if I use kind of too big of a section, because all of the hair got soaked in the end. As long as the sections are small enough that you can easily wrap it and then like tie it shut, the only thing I don't like about these is that there's a little like loose thing on the end, that's hard, so the hair can get caught in it. But like what can you really ask for for like five dollars on Amazon, but what's great is up this hairstyle hides lots of imperfections, so it doesn't need to be perfect. So you know, if you don't know how to tease, hair or put in ice waves or steam it. This is a really really easy. Hairstyle that will just get you a lots of volume really easily. I mean obviously, if you're like a real girl, you're, probably not gon, na stop wigs on top of each other and then tease it on top of that. But if you're a man - and you want really big hair - that kind of just makes you look a little bit more petite and just commands the room, it's a great hairstyle. So I hope you guys like this video and that all of you who requested got something cool out of this, shout out again to powder room to you for sending over this wig to store for you guys. Zxaviann: Those foam rollers are called perm rods for those of you who are who are wondering

Tofu Blvck: Those are flexi rods lol and you did an amazing job!!!!

C M: Gorgeous as hell henny!!!

katlady5000: I wonder if spiral or regular perm rods would work better. The plastic long spiral rods might be an issue with the boiling water. You can probably use old 80s and 90s perm setting techniques to get a cool effects for a disco wig like piggy back perm method. In the method you use two perm rods on one strand of hair. When I was doing this in the 90s I used a smaller rod at the base of the hair strand to create fullness and support on the ends of the strand use a bigger rod for a fuller curl. I did create clip on extensions and used the boiling water technique with regular perm rods and it worked well. I liked seeing how you stacked the wigs. Nice video. BTW I'm new to wigs so your videos are very helpful thank you for doing them. I'm a licensed stylists since 1987 so I'm trying to merge my stylist experience into curling wigs. I haven't been an active stylist since 2003 when I switched careers. So 87 to 03 I still remember some stuff;)

jake downey: Yesss! can u please make an Alyssa Edwards all stars 2 slay my non exsintant clevage gagaroonie lipsync wig!

It'sVannah: You should do a video or maybe a series of making good wigs from cheap eBay wigs,

Emily anderson: I wonder what 100 layers of stacked wigs would look like.
