This is, i will have to say, a very frightening look. Oh no! Maybe i shouldn't have brushed through it. I mean that's, not obviously realistic at all hi, i'm megan and this week we're trying cheap versus expensive amazon wigs. So since i cut my hair short in 2018, i definitely have been a big wig person. It'S definitely good when you're a gemini, because one day i want to look cute and curly the next day. I want to look long and sweet the next day. I want to look bald for those who don't know my story. Back in 2018, i was diagnosed with colon cancer shaved, my head, oh my god, today's the anniversary of the day i shaved my head. Oh, my god, what a funny day to be making this video and now my hair has totally grown back, but i just love playing with them as fun, accessories and extensions of my fashion. I definitely have a lot of experiences with wigs being a black woman, or at least in my family. It'S really a part of the culture, wigs weeds box, braids, you know the diversity in black hair and changing up. Our look is something that's very important to us. I have a 20 wig. I got off of amazon for halloween last year and i also have wigs like this. This is 150 from a small shop in hollywood. So i'm very curious to know if the really expensive, amazon wigs measure up to the expensive ones that you buy not on amazon. Let'S do some searching for some wigs, so we have a 300 budget and the way that's going to split up is cheap. Wig is around 20 bucks. Medium wig is around 80 and expensive around 200.. I'M looking for really long, colorful wigs, because that's like so opposite of what i have. Okay, that wig is cute that one gets cute. The reviews we did are pretty good. We love a good review. I definitely lean more towards curly hair. I think that's more of my vibe and the look that i like. Okay. 16. 16 inches. Oh, i like this one colorful long straight, bangs, 18 bucks and it's purple. This is like my dream. Wig. I think the purple wig is the one that i'm the most excited for, even though it's the cheapest we'll see. If that ends up disappointing me alley beauty, curly, human hair wig would bring braids for black women density 9a. Brazilian virgin kiki curly. If i'm going to go cheap, i'm going gon na go as cheap as i possibly can. I think that's the one ooh. I have nothing like this wig, it's not a bob. Is it a bob? I guess it's technically a bob. Oh, it's human hair. That'S going in the cart. This looks like a good medium-priced wig. I think i found my expensive wig. It'S 180. It'S by brenda's, hair ombre highlight lace, front wig, hair wig brown, blonde mix, color brazilian redmi wow. Okay, i mean it has good stars. Let'S add it to the card: okay, she's, 20 inches she's, the most beautiful blue. Ever i'm obsessed with this wig and i'm immediately buying it. This is 175 dollars. I wait for the wigs to arrive they're here. First up the cheap wig, let's start with the cheaper wig that was 18.99 and it's a bob we're just gon na pull this bad boy. On oh, i mean first impressions, it's a little flat. Okay, i mean that's not obviously realistic at all from coming out the bag to putting on my head for 18.99. It'S a good look it's so this is definitely what i call a shake and go. I look like i read like really long books. If i throw a beanie on it that solves a lot of the problem, because you don't run the risk of seeing the really unnatural hairline, i kind of feel like an e girl, elf, an e-elf named stephanie hold on some stuff okay. So this is what i decided to style with the wig. It'S giving me very cottage cord. Very look at me strawberry. This is a cuffable wig. This is a cuff season. Wig, i'm gon na give this wig 5 out of 5 stars. It'S not my favorite wig. It'S not the best wig i've ever put on, but it's delivering on what it says it is. I give this wig 4 stars like a solid 4 stars for its price, i'm ready to go on that picnic with you, i'm ready to be cottage core. I know how to make oat milk from scratch honey learning how to make jam right now time for the medium priced wig. Looking at the wig, i am a little concerned. I'M a little scared, it's not as sick as i thought it was gon na be this mid-priced wig is the one that i am the most suspicious of, mostly just in terms of how it's gon na look on me, but it seems like really great quality, got A really good amount of lace in here and i see inside it - has these three little hair clips, which the cheap wig did not have. Okay, so for 85 dollars. You can get this beauty here. This is frightening wow, it's so soft! It'S human hair! Oh, my god, tiny pigtails, the hair is it's definitely human hair. It is not synthetic like the last wig. I wish it was kind of like twice as thick just for fullness, because you can't see like through the hair a little bit, which is very interesting for a curly hair. Look yeah just thinking, thoughts, just thinking, thoughts on this wig, i kind of look like rachel lay cook and she's all that okay, so i washed the wig just in case, because it's a come out a little. Maybe this is definitely giving me like a little bit of rock and roll, so i decided to do a little bit of a newer aged 90s, look and kind of update it with a pair of jeans and a bow got my little witchy gemini necklace. It'S spooky seasoning got my necklace. I really wasn't sure how i was gon na feel about this wig, but i love it. I'M gon na give this wig a 5 out of 5 stars. It has a lot of lace, the three clips it's really soft. I would give this hair a three and a half out of five, or maybe i'm just cute, maybe i'm just that cute, damn all right, maybe i'm just not fine who knew! I know you know number two time to go to the most expensive, wig cash money. Cash money, yeah, yeah yeah - this is definitely 10 times more blonder than i thought it would be, and it does come in this cute little baggie. We love a bag very soft, very nice, very long, very long. This one is more than double the price of the human hair wig. It comes with a lot of lace, which makes it easier to style. Let'S brush it out before i make any rash comments, definitely looks cute. Definitely i like it. I, like the color, the hair consistency is great. I don't know i'm gon na look at the ad on amazon again to see if there's something i'm missing. No, no! It'S human hair, 100 brazilian human hair, we're going to get a curling iron. Look at me in my wig, so i decided to style with my favorite nas shirt. I definitely wear this at the hangout at the cookout with the crew yeah i like it. I like it y'all my hair's gon na, be so beautiful, i'm gon na. Do this be right back, oh girl, just wan na have fun that's what they really want. Look at this hair. Are you kidding, look what i did to the bangs, i'm just i'm beside myself, i'm so excited! I think i'd rate this so four to five. I think for the money, it's really good hair, very soft. I think the only thing that i did try to curl it in the curls kind of didn't stay intact, yeah. Well, i look so different with long hair. It goes without saying i'm giving this 5 out of 5 stars. It looks exactly like the ad on amazon we're calling this wig amy after the lead singer of evanescence all right. Those are my three different amazon wigs. I liked the cheapest one, the least the middle one, the middlest and the most expensive one, the most, i think for me i would definitely buy a wig from amazon if i was in a clutch, but i personally like getting my wigs from black owned businesses. Don'T be afraid of color and have fun exploring the different versions of yourself. You

Cheserii: Easiest way to test if it’s human, cut a small piece and set it on fire - there is a DISTINCT difference in the smell. Also, synthetic will melt. Human just turns to ash. I spent a decade as a wig maker. We all had tricks to determine what was what.

I am just dipping my toe into wearing wigs for everyday and not just once every 5 years or so for a costume, and it’s quite intimidating, because I want nice quality, but I don’t really know what will look good on me and don’t want to spend $100 dollars on a wig I might hate. Keyonna Crum: THE PROBLEM WITH AMAZON is that they show photos of wigs already styled or stolen photos from other vendors. So the product you get right out of the box/bag is not going to look like the photos provided. You would have to cut lace, bleach knots, straighten, curl, and more in order for most wigs to look like the photos you feel in love with.
