Eilis welcome back to my channel, so I know a lot of you guys are probably here to see how I applied the wig. But of course I wanted to show you what the wig that I am going to be using looks like before. I did any of that this week is from while African it is an ombre wig. I got it in 18 inches. This is cap 7 and it's 130 density. I always get the lace in light brown and I just went ahead and bleached it off camera, and then I washed it so you guys can see what it looks like when it's wet and when it looks likes blow dried out so yeah. This is what it looks like bulge right out. This is literally some of the softest hair. I'Ve ever felt in my life, and it still holds a curl like I've been curling it for like the past three days, and it still holds it. So what I'm doing now is I'm just using this kare-kare thermal protector and I'm going to use my favorite flat, irons, vanity, planet, flat irons and I'm going to straighten the hair out I'll leave any links for anything down below and any coupon codes, including the hair Down below for you guys in the description box, so this is what the hair looks like straight and look how silky and smooth this hair is like. I think it's my new favorite like I always say that, but like for real, I really like this. Okay, now for the wig application, so 95 % of the time. This is how my hair is under the wigs. I usually only braid my hair up if I feel like I'm going to be wearing the wigs for a really long time, but most of the time I take my wigs off at night but yeah. This is how I do it, so I just go ahead and I slick my hair back, make sure all of my baby hairs and everything is nice and smooth back. Then I just braid my hair in one braid, and then I pin it up when I put the wig cap on surprise. So once my hair is set, how I'm going to do it now, you want to take your wig cap, and you see this part right here is the part that usually shows through the lace of the wig and that everyone hates this is where the wig cap Is double we're gon na fix that, so what we're going to do is we're going to take the wig cap and turn it inside out, and then you want to take some scissors, I'm just using the eyebrow razor. This is what I use for my baby hairs, and then you want to start to gently. Take the lace apart. You want to be careful because it's a stocking cap, so it's really thin, so it will tear easily and yeah. You just want to pull the lace apart, so this is what the strings or the thread looks like, and they just want to take your razor or your scissors and cut it a loose, and this will make the wig just look, not the wig just to make The wig cap look like just seamless and flat and on one level, and you won't have to worry about it, peeking through. As you can see, this is what it will look like now, those little holes don't matter it just ripped a little bit, but you won't see it once you put it on so I just go ahead and I put the wig cap on and then I adjust It to my hairline, I like to put it right where my hairline starts and then once I have a position, I just go in with the gut to be glue, and this literally, this whole thing takes like five minutes, and I just spray that on my hair, I don't work yeah where my hair and the cat meets and kind of rubs it in. If you guys been following me for a while now, you know that I've very very rarely put my not put my glue, my wig down from ear to ear. This is what I do majority of the time. I literally only tack down the middle portion of my wig. So once that's dry, it literally takes like ten seconds. You don't even need the blow-dryer. I just did it to speed it up. I'M just gon na go ahead and put your wig on and then you're gon na, take your powder foundation and you're going to color your wig cap. If the wig cap is too light for you, then this definitely works because you know they're only like there's black boy caps and then there's this new one and then there's a darker one, but that's not always the right color for everyone. So you just take your powder foundation and you just tap it over the wig just to darken up the wig cap, a bit and you're just gon na go in with the free spray once more, and I just like to take it on my finger and rub It mainly on the wig cap, I put a very little bit on my actual forehead because I'm not pulling the wig that far down anyway, I like the wig to sit where my actual hair line is so that it doesn't look weird to me. If that makes sense, if you wear wigs, you know exactly what I'm talking about. So I just go ahead and I pulled the wig down and I placed it right on top of the wig cap and just a little bit on my forehead and then just press. It down with my fingers, you don't have to worry about it. Turning and white, or getting crusty like the the yellow got to be glue. Does if you touch it with your fingers because of the oils, this one doesn't do it, so you just go ahead and press it down with your fingers, and then I just take the blow-dryer one more time just so I can get the wet filling away because That means that the wig cap is dry and that it is secure and then yeah, I'm just gon na go ahead and fix the baby hairs in the front of the hairline real quick. So after the slo-moes, I'm gon na show you guys how I take it down, it's really really easy. I just take a spray bottle and I just squirt it on the part. That'S secured down with the free spray and then I just kind of rub it in a little bit and it literally slides right off, and then I just show you guys how to wash it really quick. It takes like two seconds and then you just blow dry. It and it's completely dry and ready to reuse so yeah. I hope you guys enjoyed this video. I love you guys and I'll see you on my next one. I want you to show me how to get to know someone like you, someone like you. I want you to know me cuz, I know then you'll see we could meet you. We can be true. I want you to see something, sorry, something so real. I want you to see. We

Drea Fairrione: So quick, straight to the point & bomb! Love it!

Sheree-Jae Redwood: This method seems a lot easier and less messy than the balding method. Definitely will be trying this

Arnita Bilal: Un double the rim of the wig cap, genius. I tried it. Eliminates the cutting when using stocking cap method of wig application, now cap is re usable. Now I don't have to freeze spray or gotta b glued cap down, it stays in place. I remove my wigs often , sometimes after only a couple of hours. Been watching and using your tips for couple years now.. keep sharing

RaenaJenks: I never thought of cutting the seam on the wig caps, you're so innovative! I will be doing this from now on! I'll also be trying the spray on its own, before I was using the gel and the spray but it gets nasty.

Kristen Cartwright: Ughh you made it look so easy! Was always afraid to wear a lace front, definitely going to try it out now

Tantanea Modock-Jenkins: You are the first person I’ve seen cut the stitches on the wig cap. Absolutely love it I’m trying that.
