Hey guys, what's up, it's me Alicia and a lot of you guys been wanting us to update our natural hair and pretty much. Let you guys know how we've been growing our hair lately. So I wanted to come and update the number one question that everybody has for me is: how have you been getting your hair so long I mean it was longer. Ok. Was my hair actually hit my waist? I used to do a lot to my hair to take five minutes. As you guys would know, I was taking hair Lavi and Elise was taking vibrance vitamins and we were taking that for like a very long time like for a whole year, and we still get people asking us where's your vitamin up day. Can you tell us what you you know what vitamins you're using now yeah I haven't taken vitamins in over a year and everyone's like p-please, update us on your vitamin journey and I'm like what vitamin journey. Well, I actually been cutting my hair, so I know you guys are gon na be asking me. So what are you doing to get your hair to grow and you know thrive, and you know, keep your length and I'm gon na talk about that in a minute. But first let me show you guys, like I'm in check real, quick where my hair is at, so I'm a little shy of where it was cuz before it looked. It was probably like here, so I'm just like this shy of where it was. When I cut it, but this is where it's at now and I'll show you guys the back of my hair. This is where the back of my hair falls. So it's like - I don't know it's just like I'm gon na say: bra, strap laughs. This is my bra strap, so let's stay braless dropping like maybe a little underneath it should. I do the other side. I don't know if you it's pretty much the same on the other side too, but this is where my hair is now and I have not put any heat in my hair, so it's getting heat damaged. Let me get closer to that. I see the texture, so this is my Han Solo. Some of you guys are probably like whoa. What have you been doing kitchen? You ready groan, because, obviously you know my hair doesn't grow like that. What are you doing to get your hair to grow? Well, it's very plain and simple: I wear wigs, so I realized that I didn't do the greatest job, explaining what I meant. What I mean by wearing wigs is that I do not do the usual things that I do to my hair before, like taking vitamins or using um growth, oils and growth products, and if my hair growth, I've actually been letting it just do what it do and Thrive on its own, without doing the usual, so in this video, I'm just telling you guys what I'm doing now to get my hair to grow. I don't wear weaves, I don't flat iron, my hair, I don't put any heat in my hair. I don't steam anymore and I don't French braid, my hair. I don't pour a little bit. I either put my hair in individual twist like this or I put it into ponytails like low ponytails, and I keep my hair moisturized. So I'm gon na show you guys a really nice wig that you can actually wear while protecting your hair. It'S this wig right here and I got this from premier lace, wigs calm! You guys know that this is one of my favorite wig sites, I'll leave. All the information down below before you go and put on your wig. You have to make sure your hair is ready to be protected. You know so what I do like I said I twist up my hair. I do not French braid, because I'm not a French braid er and I don't want you know crawl around my hair and then notice that it's getting thinner. So you don't know what you're doing do not even try. Okay, just put your hair and twist like this or in two braids and of course you may not be able to wear straighter hair pieces, but that's why I am completely open, like curly styles in and wavy styles, anything that has a volume in it because it'll Actually kind of like not show that much before putting on my wigs, I usually spray my hair. What they eat in this is the criminate sure straight from eat and leave in, but I'm all out. I have a little bit left, so let me see yeah, so I spray my hair with the Eton and then I just take like one of these little rubber bands or scrunchie thingies and then just put my hair and I love ponytail. If you didn't see it's pretty low and then I've put on a stocking cap again, this is from premier lace, wigs calm. This is their kinky curly wig. I didn't believe this. Isn'T an eighteen-inch I'll leave all the information down below. It'S really curly, but it didn't come curly like this. It was actually like perfect. You know what I mean like too perfect to be natural, so I actually washed the hair, and I use my Denman as I was washing it to go through it. And then I added a little of my eco cocktail gel to make the curls like like this, and this is how it came out and now I'm just gon na go ahead and get the wig on what it's looking like and I'm just going to place. A very careful because, as you can see, the hair is curly and if you do too much manipulating its gon na look like frizzy okay, so the hero got uncontrollably big and really frizzy because it was dry. So I just took it off and I just sprayed it with my water bottle, and I use this eco styler cocktail. It'S a cream, / gel and also use a Denman and just run through it, and the curls will pop right back. That'S all you have to do is really simple, and I also I didn't like the side part, so I placed a middle part in it and I was going to get the hair back on. Yes, this is how it is looking like and hair like this will actually dry quite quickly, especially if it's not like completely drenched. So now, I'm gon na go and just play around the front of the hair. I use this gel extremely wet line and I use a toothbrush, I kind of want to cut some layers and then they cut a little bit of the hair. This is the way it's looking like. Now, I'm just going to go back into that hairline. I am taking my belly Pro conceal. This is fine. You use toffee, but this is what I have on me right now. That'S and then I like to take again that powder Mac, mineralize skinfinish natural and keep dark. You get little pieces like this. That'S just not really cooperating type. Your water bottle spray it just like that. Take your cocktail or gel, or whatever you prefer to use place it on that area. Like this, make sure you really you know like working in, take your tendon right. It do the hair, as you can see, so you know it just curls right up, and this is how you actually maintain your curls. You know this is how you maintain it like when you have a wig like this. This hair is really high maintenance. So that's what you do. I went ahead and I did the ends. I did all of the hair so that it was all equally defined when you're dealing with hair. That'S not saturated. It'S just wet like with the spray bottle. You don't dry like within. Like 15 30 nights, I'm back and it's been like what two and a half weeks and as I was editing my video I was like I'm pretty sure some of you guys are wanting to see the hair dry. So this is what it looks like dried and the last time I actually washed this unit. What is probably like, maybe three or four days ago, and when I take it off. This is how it looks so after wearing the hair, you can go about three to four days with the same style and then you're going to have to wash it. It is pretty high maintenance, but, like I said in the beginning, part of the video all you have to do is use some water and some eco cocktail with your Denman, and you can actually get some really nice voluminous curls, okay, quick update on the hair. I'Ve learned it for about three weeks now and I haven't really noticed anything too crazy on expected, shedding, so nothing too major. Yes, it does tangle, but nothing to where you're like pulling the hair like. Oh, my gosh is tangled leaves tingly. It'S all you got ta. Do is just go wash the hair and then the tangles will melt away. I recommend using silicone mixed products, because that really helps with Milton the tangles out of your hair and also the lace kind of rose up a bit. So that's like my only complaint about the hair. I know a lot of you guys for one update, so I'm just gon na throw an update in there so yeah. This is the hair but yeah as far as protective styling, I'm not at all saying that you have to protect their style to grow your hair out. Some people prefer not to some people prefer to protect your style. I do live in Arizona the desert, because the fact that it's dry moisture is just pretty much just leaving my hair off together. So it's best for me to protect up style, keep my hair moisturized and leave it alone. So I just want to throw that out. There, because a lot of you guys have been, what do you do to grow your hair, your hair, it's getting so thick. What are you doing and I'm just like I'm not doing anything. I am leaving it alone and I find that that works for me. So hopefully, this video was helpful for you guys. Let me know what you guys do to protect your hair and whatever you do to grow your hair. Are you spending like a whole lot of money to buy products, and you know you're not really seeing results, because I find that I've been in that category? Okay, I think that's pretty much why I stopped using vitamins, because I mean mine use main choice. My hair was shedding like really really bad, so I would not recommend main choice. Yeah guys. Naturally U Neik: Love your hair! Shrinkage is so real. And love the wig as well. I just do mini twists as a protective style. Because I'm so tender headed I can't really wear box braids like I use too. I've done marley twists which are a bit lighter but my hair just locks so fast when it's in a protective style using braid/twisting hair. So for the summer and winter months I just wear mini twists and wear headwraps.
Shakeel G: If you seal grease the moisture will not escape but when you use grease you have to clarify. Since switching back to grease my hair is stronger and softer.

I don't put any heat and I keep it cornrowed while switching up the pattern, I also wear a wig grip so I don't have to use combs and it keeps it secure.
