My channel so today I just wanted to share with you guys this little bitty thing that I found on Amazon or actually it found me Amazon knows me so well, so I was on Amazon looking for something else, and then this popped up at the bottom. In the suggestions, so I kept trying to search on YouTube to see like what it was and if it actually worked, because it didn't have that many reviews on it, and I only found like two or three videos from like 2011. So I decided to get it myself just to see if it works and what this is is. It is a wig grip, so this one is by Milano it's by the Milano collection. So it is a Bayon that you put on under your wig and it keeps your wig from the shifting from side to side or from falling off basically um. It also keeps on like at night time. I know I'm not the only one who ties their scarf aside as they can and they still wake up, and it's like off the bed somewhere. It also keeps your body and your scarves on at night. So this is what it looks like they come in three different colors. I believe it comes in black, dark brown and tan. I got it in tan because I wanted it to be as close as possible to my natural scalp color. That'S not my scalp. This is a week, but yeah this week is a wig that I made a long time ago. I'Ll put all the information down below this is actually the wig that I made on my DIY wig video, so I'll link that down below and probably link it up. Above for you guys, if you guys want to get the information on this hair um, but I wanted to use this week because this is a wig that I made like I said and um. Usually when I make my wig. So I have to add an elastic band and I also add Clips I'll, take this off and show you guys what I mean. But sometimes I make the elastic band too tight, and it literally gives me a headache and I have to cut it and like try to piece in a little bit of extra fabric or sometimes the clips. I know a lot of us when we put the clips in and sometimes I sleep in my wig. Don'T ask me why, but I wake up and in like pulls my edges, so tight and I know a lot of people are gluing down there and using all types of things to try to keep their wigs down. This will save your edges, so I don't have it on right now, obviously, because I wanted to do a demonstration for you guys, but this is what it looks like it's like a head wrap and you just put it on your head. It has velcro at the tip right here and then this whole strip is velcro, so it fits many different sizes, and I know that this tag is supposed to be over the ear. So let me show you my wig now, so this is my wig now and for the most part, it's never falling off um. But I know throughout the day like I will go a couple of hours and I go in the bathroom, I'm like. Oh in my wig literally is like pulled back like this, and I'm like, oh, my god that is so embarrassing. Nobody told me that my wigs are sliding back um and I just kind of like you have to wiggle it back for it like this and try to make sure that my clips are in and not moving or like. Sometimes my wig is shift to the side. That'S like, why does her part doing that - and this is even with my last event and with my clips and I know a lot of people also struggle with the lace folding up so sometimes the lace. I lift up a little bit and you can like see directly what your scalp and, what's not your scalp, and we do not want that. Um is my lighting getting weird um but yeah. So I'm gon na take this off and show you guys how it is so I have my wake up on under here um but yeah. So this is the way that I made, and this is what the inside looks like it's just. It has a frontal attach. I have my elastic band and you see I had to add extra pieces because I made it too tight and it literally gave me a headache when I was at work and then I also add clips like this one. If you guys could see that. I add these little clips on the side to hook in, and this is usually what's pulling on my edges so demonstration with this. What you do is you just put it on your hair and make sure that the tag is facing up, because I don't know if it's two different textures, that's just what the instructions say. So I'm gon na put it on like this and then just velcro it to the back, and then I like to slide it a little bit because I like a little mod. I like my natural hair line like that, and it's like it's like velvet. So when you brush it up, you can feel the hair that I guess that's what keeps the wig from sliding I'm gon na go ahead and put this on. I trying to put it on without that elastic bin, but I couldn't like, but the life event is so loose and it's like ripped like it doesn't do anything right now, because this wig it's over a year old, so just make sure that it's lined up on The wig band and it doesn't change the color of the lace or anything. If anything it actually makes it look better to me, so you put it on and then let me just fix and see thickness, even how I can even slide it back right now. So I'm just sure to slide it back a little bit, so I'm gon na go ahead and fix my part a little bit. So you guys what I like, what the heck and then come and show you that this serger does not go okay, so I went ahead and I concealed my part, if you guys can see in this wig grip, actually helps the lace, though I'm just hot. Yet the lace to lay it flat like if you guys, can see that, like you, can barely barely barely see where the wig is and it keeps the wig from moving. So no matter how hard I pull it, my part is still in place. If I pull it to the back, like it's still not moving sorry, if I'm creeping, you guys out gettin zooming in like this, but I just want to show you guys that it's not moving at all. I don't have the clips in in this way. I just have it on top of the wig man. I can barely shift it like if I want it to like. That'S me trying to shift it. I can shake my head from side to side up and down back and forth, and my wig is not going anywhere so I joined to come share this with you guys again I'll. Have the links down below or the link down below for this and I'll. Do the 1199 one? I know some people probably want to try that, but I don't know if that one was prime. Maybe that's another reason why I didn't do it, because I only do prime stuff. Yes, it was this one was 1999. I believe, and it comes in three different colors. My 14yr old daughter is in musical theater and loves her natural afro hair, but for her role in the musical "Hello Dolly" this summer I'm considering a 360 lace front wig because it's a period piece that take place in the 1800's and the hairstyle that she needs to wear is a Gibson girl updo. Cali9000: The wig grips are great but after a 4-5 months they stretch out. Washing helps them shrink up a little but you might have to re-purchase every few months. Also, when I had shorter hair, the material on the band rubbed against my edges and gave me some bald spots. For people wearing braids it shouldn't be an issue. But yes, they work great! :)

Natalie Murren: I've read that the wig grip damages your edges. I assume it's made out of a synthetic fabric which is never good much less good to rub against your hair causing breakage and dryness. Does the package list what the material is? I'm thinking of making my own velvet wig grip but with silk. I haven't come this far to have my edges eaten away by the wrong choice of fabric. What are your thoughts ladies?
