Are you ready to be mesmerized by raquel welch's, new spring 2021 collection? If so, then this video is for you. We are diving into a brand new wig style for 2021.. This is mesmerized by raquel welch in color. Biscuit welcome to the wiggy woman. I am so excited to be bringing you this review of a brand new wig style for 20 21. This was just released this week, so i have had a lot of fun, taking these wigs out and showing them to you. Like my first look and your first look in one so um, that is what i'm doing today. I'Ve literally just taken this out of the package, and she still has that zigzag part. So this is brand spanking new. I haven't added any product or done anything to it, so you're gon na see exactly what you might get with your piece. Should you invest in mesmerize by raquel welch, of course don't forget to subscribe to my channel and click the bell so that you never miss a wig review or tutorial. That'S posted weekly, let's dive in i did get mine in the color biscuit and you'll know. If you have seen many of my other reviews that my sweet spot is actually more of a golden blonde with a dark root, so i wanted to do something a little bit different show you guys a little bit um something new or outside the box. For me, and so you'll notice, that biscuit here is more of a cooler toned platinum, blonde um. It does have some golden highlights, but it is definitely cooler than a lot of the other colors that you've seen me wear on the wiggy women channel and you'll notice. Here that there is no rooting, there is, if you like this color, but you do want a root. There is a sister wig to this, which is the shaded biscuit so um. This is available in a root. I just want to try something new, and so this is a pure blonde style. Here'S this color, so you can see that there is this beautiful, very professionally done, mix of highlights and low lights in here. This is definitely not like a flat color. The low lights are a little bit more of a golden blonde, while the highlights are more of a cool, platinum, blonde um, i do have a really bright, led light on this, and sometimes it can give off a little bit of a warmer tone. So what i'll do is, i will also take this outside and show it to you in full california, sunlight. So you can see that color in you know all different kinds of lighting, so that is biscuit, which is color code rl1923, all right! So let's look inside the cap before i put it on so here, you'll see this beautiful, pre-cut, lace, front and you'll see. It is a full temple to temple lace front, and i will show that to you on. I have a number of raquel welch, wigs and the lace fronts are always impeccable, so i'm really excited about this lace. Front and you'll see that it has this strip of polyurethane, and this is really important if you want to wear this wig without a wig grip band or adhesives, especially if you have no hair, because this little bit of polyurethane is like a non-slip gripper. And it's really going to give you a lot more security when you're wearing this wig. So it's going to have a lot of staying power. It also has the velvet ear tabs and down here at the nape you'll, see that there is a velvet nape and it does have these adjustable straps, so you can make it more of a custom fit for you. So i have a 22 inch circumference around my head and raquel welch fits me beautifully um. I do tend to like to tighten it just a little bit so that i get a very, very secure fit. So i'm going to go ahead and do that now all right so you'll see that this has a beautiful monofilament top, so it can be parted in any direction, and there is also all of this is um. You know hand tied and then there's a little bit of this wefting down here at the bottom. So it's a very beautiful mix of cap construction and i'm going to get in here really close and you can see with all of this kind of hand, tied portion and even in the wefts right now i am not feeling, nor am i seeing any permatease so That is a really good sign, because if you um watch my videos you'll know i do not like permatease, i don't like poof. I like really sleek styles, so good sign all right. So before i put it on what i'm going to do is i'm going to give it a really good shake? I want to break up all of those fibers that have kind of been snuggled up in the box together. My wide tooth comb - and i am just going to comb through that zigzag part a little bit and right out of the box - is very easy to comb, which is a really good sign. When you have straight styles, like this um they're, usually a little bit lower maintenance than a wavy style, because you don't have to worry about the curls or the wave falling out and they also stay detangled much much easier. So very easy, there's like even after all that shaking there was like no tangles in it all right so moment of truth, wow wow, so first impression is like whoa. This is bringing the glam. I love this length. I think that long styles at any age are very, very flattering because they kind of cover up the rounder parts of my face. Although i have lost a lot of weight, i still do have a little bit of a rounder face, so i really feel like it gives it a slimming effect. So i love these long styles and uh wow, so i do typically go for a rooted shade because my features give it away that i am not a natural blonde, but leave me a note down in the comments. What do you think do you think that these non-rooted shades look better than the rooted shades or you think i should stick with a root so wow first impression i love it already. I love this length. This is a very nice long, but still natural length, and it just really brings the glam. It has these um kind of face framing layers that just happen to hit me in, like the exact perfect spot here on um on my chin. So i love that, and they can also it looks like they just blend, really well right into the fibers of the wig. If you want it to be more tucked back, this kind of reminds me of showstopper, except that these face framing layers are much longer, but it has that vibe to it very glamorous. If you are someone who prefers a bang would be super duper easy to pull this in front and have a stylist give it a little bit of a trim. So would be very, very easy or if you're like me - and you don't like to have a fringe mesmerized can really just be pull off your face like that. So so far mesmerized is totally living up to its name with me right now, all right. So one thing that i am noticing is that i happen to have a very low hairline here and um. This is where rooted shades are somewhat functional for me because um. Inevitably, some of this is always going to stick out and it does here, and so you can see this pretty stark contrast, whereas when i wear rooted shades that blends right in um, but obviously that's not the wig's fault. That was me not choosing a rooted shade, but you can see kind of where the wig will end and again i do have a 22 inch, circumference, um and feeling around in here. There is zero permatease none. So that's really really nice. If you're someone who does not like permatease, if you want volume out of this wig, you can give it volume by giving it a good shake using some product like a styling cream that has a light, hold and letting it dry upside down. But for me i don't like volume, i don't like permatease, so i am loving that it is relatively sleek right out of the package. So now i am going to turn around show you the back and i'm going to show you this hairline up close as well as the part line. I have not done any of my tricks for making a synthetic wig look more realistic, which you can find in this video right here. So this is going to be exactly what you can expect when mesmerized arrives at your door, so i am then going to take mesmerized outside and i'm going to show you this color biscuit in full california, sunshine, so you'll be able to see. You know here in front of my led studio lighting, but also in natural sunlight, so you can really see the cooler undertones of this color. So i decided to do this side by side with the outdoor lighting and my led lighting, because i wanted to really give you a good look at this color both indoors and outdoors you'll, see here in the outdoor lighting that you can really pick up on those Cool platinum blonde under so these are true to life heat defiant fibers, which means that they can be heat styled. If you want to curl this, you can, or you can straighten it, but they have a very natural look and feel to them, and here is that impeccable raquel welch lace front, which is super duper natural. Those light highlights up here at the front, really give it more of a bleach knots effect, so it totally blends in - and here is that part line again a non-rooted shade, very, very natural and very very realistic again, because these fibers are heat friendly. You are able to restyle this so heat friendly fibers. They can be a little bit more delicate than traditional synthetic, but you also can use heat to refresh them and keep them looking soft and smooth, since this is a longer style um, if you like long hair in the summer at what a cute ponytail. This could make so in fact, why don't we do that? Let'S put it back into like, let's put it back into like a messy little bun cute right cute, even though this is part of the raquel welch spring 2021 collection. I mean i got my eyes on the summer and this is going to be something that i can put into a low ponytail, which is a must. If you want to stay cool - and you like to have longer hairstyles because having something up off of your neck is going to be so much more comfortable, but i think with these face framing layers, it really helps to hide some of that cap construction, and it Makes it makes an adorable adorable low ponytail, so i love that and likewise why don't we grab a claw and do like a half up half down and that's also super cute. So there is a lot of styling potential with this one um. Let'S see if i want to keep these face framing layers out of my face, it seems like they don't want to go back, but um. It looks really cute pulled up into a half up half down as well. So a lot of different styling options, which i um i love so so pros of mesmerized, which is again from the 2021 raquel waltz spring collection. I absolutely love the length and i love these little face framing layers. I feel like especially in this color biscuit, i'm getting very strong, heather locklear vibes. You know, i feel very, very glamorous, which i love um other pro would be that there is no permatease in this wig. So if you're someone who does not like permatease, this is going to be a huge plus for you um. I also really like the cap construction. It is built very, very comfortably, and it's also built very securely, like i really do feel like. I would be perfectly fine going to work throughout the day, even if this is pulled up into like a ponytail um. I feel like it would be very secure on my head and while i did just take it out of the box, i haven't worn it to work um. You know. I think that the cap construction the way that it feels right now. I really would feel very comfortable and confident wearing this to work without any kind of assistance from a wig grip band or adhesive and cons. I'M i'm not sure, leave me a note in the comments, and let me know what you think about this color for my skin tone, especially after seeing it out in the sunshine you'll see that it does have some pretty cool undertones and i have a warm neutral Skin tone leave me down in the comments, and, let me know if i went a little too far outside of the box by picking a non-rooted non-golden shade. You know how it is sometimes you're so used to seeing your hair in a certain kind of style and color that when you see something different, you don't know if it's just new or if it really doesn't look good. So leave me know in the comments, and let me know if the color that i happen to choose biscuit, which is rl1923, is a pro or a con other than that. As far as the actual wig goes, i really don't have any cons at all. I really love this piece and i think they did a really good job with it, and i hope, if you choose to make mesmerize part of your collection, that you love it too. I did put a link in the description to mesmerize by raquel welch, as well as some of my go-to favorite synthetic wig care products. I hope you enjoyed this video and, if so, please please, please don't forget to give me a thumbs up and subscribe to my channel and click the bell so that you never miss a wig review or tutorial. That'S posted weekly! Thank you so much for watching, and i will see you next week.

The Wiggy Woman: Who is ready for a NEW WIG STYLE? What are your thoughts on Mesmerized by Raquel Welch?

G: Definitely stick with the unrooted colors! Very youthful and flattering.

Lynn Bennett: I love how you show BOTH high end wigs and how to transform inexpensive ones. Thank you!

Christina Knapp: Biscuit and Shaded Biscuit or my two favorite colors! Depending on what style I get that is how I choose which color to get! I did order this in shaded basket and now I’m looking at it and biscuit and I’m a little bummed but I know I’ll be happy! Biscuit has so much dimension in it so it doesn’t need a root! It looks like freshly highlighted hair with some low lights!

Robin Cardin: I love this shade on you, it looks beautiful!!!

Jaci Fertik: Beautiful its looks like a longer version of Spotlight can't wait to get mine love the layers that surround the face no wonder its sold out in many colors

Liz Lyons: This is a great style and beautiful color on you. I love Raquel Welch's heat friendly fibers and the features are flawless. I hope next time you will actually let us see the messy bun and half up versions. You never turned enough for us to see them. I am sure they look natural in those styles too. I am for rooted and unrooted, we probably like to get both. Thanks for doing this.

Debra Ward: I thought this wig, it's style and color were very flattering and "youthful". From the video anyways, it really brought out your pretty face and features and isn;t that what hair should do! I'm wondering how it compares to Noriko Light blonde (I have in Jules) which is unrooted and more my natural hair color. I don't have any Raquel Welch styles and have been going back and forth wondering if I should try one. The rooted version of Biscuit would be too severe a root for me.

Carol Muse: I had to do a double take when I first saw the beginning of this review because I thought you we're around twenty years old. I reran the video a few times because I couldn't believe the difference. Your skin is amazing!

Lauren S. Levine: Hi! MESMERIZED looks very pretty on you! YOU SHOULD TRY ICED LATTE MACCHIATO TOO. MANY of the wigs, though I don't mind the rooted look, are just too dark. I wear both Shaded Biscuit and Biscuit. Even bio hair, has diffetent stages of growth, so why not use both rooted and unrooted. I do love Iced Latte Macchiato too, gor when I want a little depth witjout rooting. I am wondering whether this is too hot for summer? I too, do not like "mushroom tops" derived from permatease. Loving Mesmerized. Byee

lovely lipsticklady: This wig looks real on you. There is nothing fake about it; so I definitely would say go with the unrooted shades.

chumdoggie: I love that wig & color on you. It looks so natural. You didn't have to do hardly anything with it. I hate when wigs have too much hair and too thick - they look so unnatural.

Jenney Ryan: This RW wig is stunning. It looks natural and no root.

Sandra Taylor: The biscuit color looks great on you. However I agree with you that the rooted version may be a better choice. Enjoyed your video……my first time seeing you. Looking forward to more!

Christina Knapp: Wow… I cannot believe how much younger you look with this wig on! I’m not saying that you looked old by any means without the wig but you just look 20 years younger. That looks absolutely stunning on you and it’s my favorite style right now and I love that it has low density!

10TOES: Love the color, especially outdoors. This is the first time I’ve seen your channel so honestly I can’t give an honest opinion till I view other videos of you in hair with rooting. I did subbed, hoping to learn some good things! I hope this would come in petite cap as all RW are too roomy on me but I love her hairlines.

Christina Knapp: I think that this non-rooted color is fabulous on you and it doesn’t look a natural at all! Rooted shades look great as well but I’m pretty partial to the shade on you!

Christina Knapp: I have several different styles in Biscuit and none of them have any gold in them. Mine are all A very light ash blonde with a dark ash blonde to light ash brown low light running through it. It is such a beautiful color and one of my very favorites along with Shaded Biscuit! I’m surprise that has warmth in it but I’m glad to know it does because I have Mesmerized in Shaded Biscuit and I really wanted to get it and biscuit but I don’t like gold so I’m going to forgo getting that!

Brenda Harvey: I love love love it I would love that style in a topper it looks beautiful on you

Marcia: You look amazing! It really enhances your skintone and just love it-! Beautiful lady!!

Everything Permanent Makeup by Terry Lively: I prefer rooted, but this is really pretty. My brows are dark too so I think the rooted looks more natural on me. I recently purchased a few wigs in shaded biscuit...I had previously liked shaded wheat...but am leaning towards the cooler blonds now as I age. Thanks for this review. Sooo pretty on you.

Gloria Lagroon: Wow! I love Mesmerized on you! You look fabulous and the color is perfect! I don't see any cons at all. ( not even the eyebrows..because you mentioned it ) Ok girl I need an update video on how's the weight loss going etc. All the deets please! Interested as I have at least 20 to 25 lbs I want to take off. Hugs!

Inmemoryofsebastian: Beautiful wig this may be my next wig but in a different color.

Skye: This is "wow" you look fantastic!!

Beth Franklin: This is FABULOUS on you!!! The color looks appropriate and not strange for you with your coloring!

Gin Gin: You look way better in non rooted. This hair and colour is perfect. Very pretty

The Faux Blond: Absolutely beautiful

Marjorie Bevan: Just one word - beautiful

Ms.Thrify: just saw this video-missed it before! You look so hot in that wig! Wow, super great! I am so amazed how different wigs change how you look. i think the color is fine but i think rooting works best due to dark hair underneath....wow, i so tempted to buy something like that. i just haven't had much wig success....but girl, you just rock it! so inspiring!

1 Mezrahi: Beautiful I want a wig now thank you

Godsgurl 22: Wow this color took 10 yrs off you!!

D Knigh: I love this on you! Go girl!

lisa PO: I do non rooted. I find some are so harsh from roots to the rest and doesn’t look good!! I love the non rooted it could be that you dyed your hair at the salon because it doesn’t look like a wig

SewPretty: So pretty!

Seascape185: Looks really nice on you !

judy kilger: Wow you look amazing!!! Beautiful colour !

Melanie Deardorff: So pretty on you!

Deborah B: You look gorgeous. Very pretty color

Abigail•Rose: Live this on you! New sub.

Jayne Christy: You look amazing

Beth Franklin: Perhaps the Shaded Biscuit would be best (after seeing this on you outside) --- but it could be my monitor!!!

Kim Dymund: Wow, You lost 10 years the minute you put it on! I would love to see it with a slightly smudged root.

Jackie Savoy: I like it on you but if your darker hair showing bothers you go with the shaded version.

Jackie Fertik: This seems to be like scene staler except for hand tied part do a diff please

keke Gee: Heyyy guhl I’m wanting to kno if yhu giving away any off your old wigs if u could help a sis out. If so send me ur info I’ll do anything to revive any wig!
