Hey guys welcome back to my channel sandy beauty here and I'm back with another hair review, so the hair that I'm gon na be installing today is from you, nice hair. This is their 20 inch straight least frontal wig. This is a 13 by 6 lace, wig and it goes really far back, and this is a transparent, at least so. I'M really excited to try this out. In the box there was a wig cap and there was also a nice little satin scarf. That came with it, the wig also, I think he came pre plucked. It does look like it was pretty plucked and it looks like they tried to bleach the nuts too, but I did go ahead and customize it myself. So right now I'm gon na be installing the wig first with the Ghost bond and then afterwards, I'm gon na show you guys with the bolt hold so right. Now, I'm just doing the bald cap method. You don't have to do this method. You guys are gon na see a little bit further in the video you really don't have to, but I just wanted to you know: try it out for the video, so I'm just procuring it down with the got to be glued gel. This is the clear one in the black tube and that I'm going to be using the free spray just to secure that down and then to help to quicken up the drying process. I'M just using my blow-dryer on a cool setting and once that gets really really dry, then you can go ahead and cut off the access backing cap. So after cutting off the stocking cap, I did go ahead and apply some foundation into the cap and before applying the glue guys, I did use some alcohol just to clean off my skin. Just so that you know it's nice and clean and there's no foundation right. There, where I'm putting the glue and I'm just applying like small little dots of glue, I saw this technique on a few in a few videos on YouTube. So anything I'm doing right now. I learned off of here on YouTube, so I'm trying out some methods that I saw, because this is my first time trying lace glue in general. Usually you've got to be glued, so this is my first time even trying either one of these glues. This is my first thin layer and I'm just gon na be smoothing that out with the end of my comb and then I'm gon na use my blow-dryer on the cool setting just to kind of dry that until it turns clear it has to be clear before You apply a second layer or before you apply your lace wig so make sure you're not putting it on. While the glue is still white, and Here I am applying my second layer of glue guys. I was a little bit more generous this time because I found that the first layer dried so quickly. I guess because I didn't have enough, but I'm applying a generous amount and then I'm gon na smooth it out so that it's a nice thin layer alright. So now I'm just gon na slip, the wig right onto my head. You want to bring the hairline of the wig a little bit past the glue and then I'm just combing the hair through just so that it, you know kind of helps us secure the wig. So I just went ahead and customize the lake a little bit more, mainly because I wanted it to look a little bit more, like my hairline, so this is optional. You guys can do it prior to I kind of did it before and a little bit now. So this is kind of how it's looking, what I'm doing that guys. I'M just gon na take scissors and make little slits into the wig. I'M gon na be cutting the wig in sections because it's just a little bit easier for me, like I said, I'm not a professional at this weight stuff. You know I'm trying to get there like everybody else, but I found that this was a little bit easier. It'S a kind of maneuver and I'm using like a eyebrow shaver, razor's up thing, which I don't know if I really recommend, because I actually ended up cutting myself like pretty bad. So that's why I switched over to the scissor. So you guys do what you can do, but I was getting too giddy and I ended up cutting myself. But if you're gon na be using scissors, make sure you're doing like a zigzag motion like what I'm doing here, cuz that kind of creates a more natural hairline. But once I cut off all the lace, I just went ahead and tied down at the hairline and once I took that off, I cut some baby hairs and I applied the mousse. So I can shape up my baby hairs. So here, you're gon na see any styling the baby hairs. Now I was just kind of trying to map everything up before I like, went ahead and perfected it, but guys I was in for quite the surprise at this point, because I found that the wig was lifting. I was like what the like what was happening. I literally like look at how easily it's coming off and I'm like what like what was going on here. What was actually going on. I was actually stunned. I'M sorry, I just said you know: I'm gon na take it off and it was so late at night. At this point I was like seriously over it. So what I did I took it off and I started over again now. This is why I said you don't have to do the ballcap method. I was so over it at this point and I was so tired because it was after work when I filmed this. I just went ahead and I just applied the cap and I decided to put the glue right in front of the cap and I just repeated the same steps. I applied two thin layers of glue and blow-dried that on the cool setting, and then I stuck my wig down so once the wig was secured. I went ahead and tied my head down again just to further melt down the lace and make sure everything is really secure and sticking and after about like 10-15 minutes again, I took it off and you guys can tell I'm so tired at this point. So I took it off, I actually went ahead and just cut some baby hair styled. It used my curling wand and smoothed out the front and the middle part, and I was ready for bed. I tied my hair back down again and I was ready for bed because it was like almost 3:00 a.m. at this point and I had work the next day. Okay done! No, it is now 821 I'm about to get ready for work and my baby hairs are still there. You know I'm feeling good feeling great and I'm like. Okay, the wig is secured. It'S nice, you know I can. I can deal with this, so the straightener I'm gon na be using is probably one of the best straighteners I've had in a while. This is from irresistible me. This is their diamond series, love love, love at this flower and it gets so hot makes it hair. Look shiny and silky your hair will feel so soft after and I'll leave all the information for the flatiron down below, but this has been my favorite flatiron since the day that I got it so now guys. I literally noticed that my hairline was lifting again and I was like honestly I'm just so disappointed like everything else was fine, except for that one little spot right there. The other side was fine, but I honestly I didn't even have time to fix it, because I had to go to work so now. This is a few days later, literally, maybe two three days later, the ghost pond literally did not hold up. My wig was lifting, and I said you know what I'm gon na go to the beauty supply store and I'm gon na buy bolt hold active, because I heard that that was a better choice. So I removed the wig, and Here I am I'm gon na - be using the bolt hold active instead. So same concept, guys, I'm gon na go ahead with a thin layer of the glue at first, but instead of putting it across my whole head which I could have. But I was just being very careful this time. I'M just gon na go and apply a thin layer in sections and I'm gon na blow dry it. Another thing I should mention the bolt hold active takes a little bit longer to dry than the Ghost bond, so I was literally blow-drying my hair for like a good like five minutes, and then I stuck the wig down. I could have already told from this moments that there was a big difference in how secure the wig felt and there was only one there. So I knew that the wig was gon na be on for good, like it wasn't gon na go anywhere. So, on the opposite side, I just did the same method. I secured it down in sections until it was all dry and then I went ahead and I tied my head down now. I'M not going to be using any moose this time because I think why my least lifted the first time is because the Moose had alcohol in it, and I heard if there's alcohol loose, your lace will lift and I wasn't taking any chances this time. So I'm just gon na be using got to be glued to lay down my baby hairs and honestly, it worked so well and I didn't use a lot literally. I just rubbed it between my fingers and used very little of it, so it wasn't like crispy and hard or flaky or anything. It just was perfect you. So when I was done laying down my baby hairs, I did tie down my hair again with my satin scarf once it was done. This is the result. I went ahead and used some of my face powder to kind of camouflage the lace a little bit further, but guys this is my comparison between the bold hold and the ghost bond. I hope it helped you guys out gauge what direction you want to go in and yeah subscribe to my channel bye, guys

DivinelyDzyned: Use alcohol free mousse like Nairobi. If not your lace will continue to lift regardless of which adhesive you use

Ashley M: As someone who has used Ghost Bond for years the layers your using is too too thin. And you did it great by doing it in sections I glue down my lace on sections too! Cause I found putting the glue all around the Perimeter in one go causes my wig to lift. Anyway with GB I do about 4 generous layers and it literally stays on for weeks at a time with absolutely no lifting. Moose will absolutely lift it! I loved watching this though ❤️ I might try Bold Hold! ❤️

M Harrington: A few tips, you should apply thicker layers of glue. Put glue on the cap and skin smooth foward never back. Do not use foaming mousse with alcohol and do not press the lace down with your fingers. Also good using the got2b for the baby hairs on the last try!

Anike Edwards: Sanny I just love how you show that it doesn’t always work instantly like how almost every other YouTuber I have seen make it appear. It looks so much more realistic to me when you show the struggles you have with the glue because I struggle so much and always wonder how these girls make it look so easy. In addition, the comments from your viewers were SO helpful! Through your vid and the comments I have learnt so much & it’s nice to see a video that for me appears very genuwine & real. Will subscribe.

Kiara Brown: Wow some of ya in the comments are really rude. This is the first time I seen a wig installer actually made a mistake and then fixed it in their own way. Good videoA few mistakes were made but it still came out great!

Ericka Bell: Here is where the problem was, you should use 4 layers of ghost bond, then wait 7 minutes for it to cure before laying down your unit. Also as someone else commented, no blow dryer, just a little patience. I haven't tried the bold hold active, going to be trying it soon becuz I have heard great things. Also a company called the hair factory sells an adhesive that I am hearing rave reviews about. Thanks so much for your video, I'm definitely going to subscribe!!!

ItsQueen Babii: Ghost bond to me is like elmers preschool glue It's horrible.

Thembi Chitanda: Thank you for this video. You didn’t have to make this video, but you did. It’s crazy how rude some of these comments are. I applaud you for staying respectful. You were clearly tired from work but you still made this video for us. Thank you boo!!! ❤️

Sharon Lyons: Hey there, It's crazy when you do all that work and your wig lifts! I have Alopecia, and have no hair on the top of my head past the crown, so just a little at the back! So I wear a wig all day every day! I have used Ghost Bond for years way before Bold Hold came on the scene. I have also used Bold Hold! About Ghost Bond, right I use the Platinum version! For this product No white is the golden rule, and no rush! I apply this and it stay up the 3 Weeks, and I wash my wig ( while on my hear) and swim with a swim cap so it only gets a little wet! The glue goes on white then you must smooth it out very thin, then let it dry naturally (no blow dryer, about 7 mins) until clear and tacky! I do 3 to 4 layers depending on the hold it want, for several weeks! I don't use any hair spray or mousse. Sometimes I use a scalp protector! I tie it down for about 30mins! and it holds! Same with Bold Hold, and it holds for about 2 weeks pushing it on the 3rd! Wig on my profile pic was but on with Ghost Bond, that pic is from 2016 and I lived in Humid Hawaii! It never lifted, not once! Trail and error, with wigs, you will get! I Did!

Alichia Souser: Great job after trail and error. I'm a virgin installer too and your step by step is definitely helpful I also would like to know where you get your eyelashes !!!

Nai McLamore: I've been using ghost bond for a few years and never have lifting ‍♀️ its actually hard for me to get it off lol

Faith Sams: I am happy that I watched this video today because I went to the hair store today, and purchased Ghost Bond. He said “if you open, you cannot return!” And I am so happy I watched this video before I opened that bottle. Bye bye Ghost Bond!

Kay Ade: This is like trying out trying out Tylenol extra strength (Panadol extra) against regular Tylenol. It should be Bold Hold *Active* vs Ghost Bond *Platinum.* People swear by platinum in the comments, but I am yet to see a video on it.

LeaveItToMia: This is was so helpful. Especially seeing the trial and error process. Thank you! Not sure if you have one, but i'd also like to see a video on how you take this off!

Heyitschanel: I used bold hold active and made sure I had a lot of layers but it would only hold the lace down for a little. I thought since it said “Active” I would be able to sweat in it but that’s not the case ‍♀️ so i’m watching some videos to see if I did something wrong. If not im trying to find another glue.

Jen: With Ghost bond, my lace does not move, water cannot take it off lol I was shocked how well it works. I cut the excess lace off before I apply the wig, I can't cut that thing off on my head even if you paid me lol I never tried the bald cap method, pretty sure I wont, it seems like too much for me lol Tip: After you adhere the lace to the adhesive, immediately pull out the baby hair to the front of your face then tie it down over your ear, blow dry on cool for like 5-10 mins....that tip leveled up my application game which I learned from YouTube as well....I've messed up plenty of times rushing lol I want to try Bold Hold Active. I used the original Bold Hold numerous times and don't like the fact that it turns white when you sweat then will turn back to clear Good Job!!!!

Scary Pickles: “It was almost 3am and I had work the next day” the struggle is real I always have to straighten my 4a hair for dance it’s different staying up late when I want to straighten my hair but when I have to because my hair is not allowed it’s a different feeling.

Bria Dickerson: I havent tried bold hold yet but my lace literally alwaysssss lifts when i use ghost bond

keyzRoselaine: Thanks for showing us how you fixed the problem. Great tips ❤❤

Alicia Woolfolk: Great video! Very transparent. We have great deals on both glues. We also have a small spacula you can add on for installation to keep from using your combs. Check us out!

Tiana Love: Moose always lifts lace, I wouldn’t say that dictates it being not good glue or whatever adhesive you choose

Jennah scott: You have to let the glue sit before putting mousse on it

Taylor Reed: I think the biggest thing you forgot to do with both glues was cleaning the skin prior to applying the glue.

tana2888: I literally thought I was always doing something wrong. Watched plenty videos comparing both glues and those people seem to never had a problem. Thanks alot!

Kaleshia L: Loved how you showed your fails and wins. Instant subscriber !

DoItYourselfKelly: Was your styling foam alcohol free? I learned that if it isnt it will break down the adhesive and the wig lift

Alyssa Brown: with bold hold active, I use 3 to 5 layers and that lasts until I am ready to take it off not when it starts lifting!. I was active for like 30 minutes outside today in 100-degree weather and no lifting and this was on day 4. so bold hold active is the way to go.

blackgirlsareperfect: I think the mousse messed it up....._Be it the alcohol in the mousse or the oils that they use in them, both can cause lifting. When you apply the wig no moisturizer or alcohol products should be used near when you put your glue

Xoxo_lilbitt: You don’t even have to blow dry the bold hold before laying the lace… it will air dry clear (dosent take that long) then tact wig down

Les B Petty: Well done even with the mistake and all. Crazy i always use active and today i went and bought ghost bond. And also crazy cause mine lace be doing the same and thats wrapping foam your using cause i use the same one But like you said maybe thats another reason. So i also bought she bomb foam. So ima pray it works and i come out as slay as you.

xai finley: one tip that I heard is that you want to use power not liquid foundation because the liquid one makes it slip

Kimberly Brown I'm Kim: That happens to me , I let it sit for 30min before I add any foam or gel to baby hair

Portia Maponya: Hi l just want to know how long did it last after you had the Bold active glue on?

Emma: Okay so I still have a lot of ghost bond left and it always lifts after 2 days :( does anyone have any tips to make it last at least a week? I'm trying to finish it before buying bold hold.

kirstin nyarko: Don’t put moose all around your lace like that that’s why it lifted

Berenice Medel, Sanchez: Girl!! I don’t use lace fronts butt I do work at a Beauty Supply and this give me information but also you teach me how I can explain my costumers how they should use those glues. Thank you

Tameria Denae: Bold hold better ghost bond itch so bad at least for me and it lifts even though i put enough layers

RFW: Interesting that wig hairlines are not nice and smooth and thin. I’m a guy and wear a hair system (fully shaved under it) but the hairline is never an issue as it’s a very thin semi transparent poly and blends in with the skin.

Lulle Loca: omg i Love this wig

lord ambz: is it safe to apply wig glue to your face/forhead?????

Life of Tiffany: I feel like ghost bond is better then bold hold I had to use so much layers just for it to stick I only wore m wig two days before I had to take it off and go buy some more ghost bond! I’m never changing on you again baby! Lol ghost bond!!

Ceiiraa Love: It came off because of the fact that that was not alcohol free Moose

Mrs DFJA: Your glue is to thin. You need to spread it out more. That little skinny line really dont give the lace anything to grip too. I have never had a issue with ghost bond or Bold hold active. . You do need use alcohol also.

Ashleigh: I seen from another youtuber that you have to make sure you don't get your lace too wet when you are doing your edges otherwise it will lift.

Angela Sewell: Fortunately. For me, I've used. Both products, and I never have a. Problem

kierra's channel: Ghost bond also doesn’t work for me or neither does the got2b spray

¡BOP!REACHINOUT BUTLER: Try It’s Sticky Lace Adhesion System it’s Lit!!!!!

RiMiWorld: Bold hold extreme is good never tried active

Lisa Rogers: Beautiful outcome tfs

Danielle Eleanor: The ghost glue you can’t wet it for 48hrs… that’s probs why it came off because you used a wet solution (foam)

Brown Sierra260: I haven’t watched the whole video but I feel like your not using enough glue maybeplus the foam probably has alcohol in it

KeiaJohn 4:15: Can someone tell me how, to get the glue off of my wig. I’m using Ebin bold hold and it sticks like crazy and leaves a lot of residue.

Beauty by Sonia: Did you check the mouse you use, cos if you mouse contain alcohol it will lift the glue

Abigail Cole: The wig is unavailable on the amazon link below can you leave a link for it as it’s beautiful

Shy Shy: I’ve tried ghost bond classic- I’ve tried ghost bond XL- I’ve tried bold hold- but baby I just bought ghost bond supreme - if you live where it’s warm or you sweat a lot like me the ghost bond supreme is the best bond I’ve ever used, your wig will be holding on till the second coming of Christ Chile. I literally have to remove it myself it will not come off on its own.

Littless 21: Hey love the video and I’m officially a new subscriber also what’s the name of the instrumental song you played in the beginning of the video

Bella M: Your camera is so good ! It’s very clear

Glam Style With Dalou: Great video. Thanks for sharing

Toni-Ann Clarke: Where did u buy ur bold hold active

Ray B.: Bold hold is GARBAGE. I barely get hot (not even sweating) and it starts turning white. I hate it, huge waste of time and money.

T M: It’s the mousse

Lisa Rogers: Omg yes that has happened to me before to after all that work ugh

Rosmery Romero-Mateo: What stocking cap did she use?

Paraiso Haris: That’s why I never use moose tbh

Journey Henderson: The Wig was CUTE,and I do like Babyhairs, but sorry Not those

smoothlady36 boss: Such a beautiful lady

TruthIz: First off why you link the generic version one bold hold

Brianna Valentin: You look bomb

Brea Quigley: You were suppose to let it dry before putting on moose

anni cepeda: You were supposed to apply foundation on the lace of the wig too

Ania Cheatem: Gurllllllll you ain’t let it dry at alllllllllll‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

Cat B: Nice tutorial!

Imani Slaughter: Literally dying inside cause lace isn’t tented ‍♀️‍♀️‍♀️

Jennifer Obi: this videos pretty much useless since you didnt handle both glues the same but at least you got your coin right lol

Autumn McClendon: That’s why I don’t even do baby hair cause of the foam and stuff it will lift every time

Jhourdan Williams: Don’t worry sis ghost bond is terrible and it’s not because of the mousse neither. I use bold hold active and it kept my wig on for a week.

HairCrowned: *DOES ANYBODY AT ALL KNOW IF SaN BEAUTY ASNWERS QUESTIONS*

Jermika Pierre Louis: You sound Bajan.

Dee Monèt: Pluck the wig next time.

Rumpole Bailey: If you are going through all that shit, you must really hate your hair.
