Good afternoon, today's video will be a install i'll, be installing a frontal wig. For the first time this video is going to be kind of like a vlog of flag, ish, i'm not even sure so. All of these vlog style, vlog-ish videos will will still be centered around makeup and um hair tutorials, but i just want them to be less rigid, less clinical and a bit more casual and a bit more personal, so yeah i'll be installing a front two wig for The first time i have low lying edges, so it truly is difficult for me to find um frontals that sit well that sit right. So frontal installation for me is a pain, and that is why i've either been doing teapot, wigs or closure weights, but um. I want to try a frontal wig now and i have somewhere to go, and i just um there's a particular style that i want to do, and i think i can only pull it off with a frontal wing. So usually what happens? Let me just say: usually what happens with frontals is that they assume that a person has a straight hairline with no sideburns, or they assume that a person has like a widow's peak, whereas with my hairline see my forehead area starts here and then my edges come Here they go down a bit and then it dips in a bit. Let me take all my glosses. You can see my forehead area starts over here to the back and it comes down where my edges are, and then i have side burns all the way to here, and i find it very difficult to get a frontal wig that is able to accommodate such a Hairline so, but there are tricks that you can do to make your hairline just um, fit the normal hairline of a wig, something like ventilating, your own lace, so just taking the lace as it is, and then just adding hairs to this area. So with this wig you'd add what you're calling it just ventilate and add some hairs to this area over here. That would cover the size or you can do what i did and i just lowered it down so that it covers my size and then i just plucked out um some hairs from over here, so that it so just to open up the the forehead a bit. So that my forehead looks natural, the hairline looks natural but yeah. I have bleached this wig. I also have uh toned it and then what came out as what was supposed to what was actually a mistake. I was dying another wig black this week that you see at the back. I was dying it black and then i don't know. I was just too lazy because i was dying this week and bitching this week all at the same time and what happened was i? The water that i was using to rinse this week, the last step of this week - i i was just lazy yeah i was, i was just lazy and i just started removing the bleach of this wig in that water. I don't know what i was thinking. It clearly was a long day and the hair got i. It was black and even after color bleaching it the second time because i bleached this wig twice bleaching it the second time and then going about like toning it. It still stayed like a bit grayish at the bottom, but i don't mind so it's a blonde golden brown at the top. Then it goes down to like a grayish platinum color at the bottom, which is fine for me, but yeah. So i've got my coffee ready. I don't want to do a vocab method like i don't want to complicate stuff, it's my first time really um wanting to do a frontal wig peeler properly. So i don't want to mix it up, and here i come it's like a bowl method, bulkhead method. So let me just stick to normal bulk um. Second cap like i normally do and then we'll get into it. Lego, concealer it's in the color espresso and i'm just going to use it to tint the inside of the lace. Oh, this wig is so tight. Oh huh this week is so tight. Oh my gosh! Thank you! Okay! So what i'm gon na do now, i'm just going to try and cut the lace like i don't even care about the the ear tails i'm just gon na cut, so that it's out of my face - and i can see what i'm doing oh um, five just Making sure that it's lined up with my own hairline, so yeah, my edges are covered okay now to deal with this part. Oh your tabs, oh and this hair yo. This is like the worst day ever. I i wouldn't recommend going to this company. It'S like the worst hair ever that's why i don't mind like doing crazy stuff to it then bleaching it five times and all this nonsense, because this is just not the best hair ever so i was like you know what let me practice got this hair. Let me just use it for practice purposes, because it's all nothing so i'm going to create like a swoop over my ear and then that which falls back behind my ear will be kept and that which falls in front of my ear will be cut out. And i'm just going to leave out like a few to maybe create slight swoops or something like that. So i'll leave this out and then i will swoop whatever boom. Mario this week is so tight. I got that this week is so tight. It'S not the best manufactured wig, best handcrafted wig. I'Ve ever come across like here and i'm not even like a master wig maker, but even i can tell now as it's on them. That'S all not serious, okay. So what i'm going to do now, i'm just going to sweep the hair back and then i'm just going to start with the installation, so i'm just going to push the hair back a bit. Okay, let's start off with the alcohol. So i'm going to be using this i'm trying out this lace, frontal adhesive spray from the same hair. Let'S just see how it works. Hopefully it works properly. Yes, i need so. The instructions say spray a layer of the adhesive spray on your skin, very close to the hairline. Allow it to dry a bit not completely then place your frontal wig in the desired position, use cool air to dry completely, while gently massaging. Oh, let me just go fetch the blow dryer! Oh yes, to be unprepared, i'm gon na spray it over the lace. Yes, hmm see! What i'm doing is all these little parts that were that were lifting up. I just sprayed some on the end of this retail cone. I'M just gon na blow dry. It dry blow dry, it okay, so what i'm gon na do now. Let me just take some pieces over here, so i just want to remove some of the glue that went onto my skin using water, because that's how you remove this, you use water. It'S been an hour later being busy with other things. I did my makeup for a moment of truth. Okay, oh not bad, not bad! At oh, okay! This came out and remember to fix the same foundation that i used on my face. Just dabbing whatever was on the lid. What i'm thinking of doing i'm gon na see, which part, looks nice? Okay, i wan na swoop some to the sides, so i'm not going to create a part anything like that, i'm just going to swoop some here to the side. Okay, so i'm very pleased with the install technically, not my first install of a frontal. It is my first official. I have double dabbled a bit, as i mentioned in the beginning, with front holes, but because of my hairline, i kind of stopped and sticked to two part, wigs as well as closures. So this would be like my first official one way like i'm being serious like i really want to get it right and let's do a recap of the do's and don'ts. Do would be me, follow your hairline if it doesn't match your hairline. Do something add some hairs, remove some hairs, but follow your own hairline, don't necessarily follow the hairline of the lace. I think that really helped me is clearing my forehead with alcohol. First, cutting the lace first, just to make sure that it really is in line with my hairline, obviously, the zigzag method so that, when it melts in it, looks more natural what what else? I think i'm forgetting something um yeah i mean once you've cut the lace place it on your skin and in front of your hairline a bit just a bit smidgen in front of your hairline, so that it's touching the skin and then spray the glue i'd say: Stick to a spray, it's it's! It'S it's less messy! So you spray it on your lace and then what you do with your blow, dryer on cool or even you can fan yourself. You don't have a blow dryer and just reinforce it in stick it in with your hands. You see i went in with the comb. I went in with the comb with these until it dries down and if there are some parts sticking up go again, like that's one thing, i've learned with with the front toes, i think, pay careful attention to the hairline. That is the most important part like look. I did nothing to the part. I did nothing to the hair, but i made sure that my hairline is done properly like to the tee the foundation that you use on your face. The concealer that you use on your face as a skin tone concealer put wrap that dab, that underneath your lace and obviously when you're done, you saw what i did applied it to my forehead so that you know there isn't really much of a color difference between My head and then where the hairline starts, yeah the melting ins and make sure that it covers the sideburns to you. So it went over my ears if you want to see more of these vlog like vlog style tutorials, and i would say very detailed, very step by step how you would install the wig, how you would apply the makeup on your own at home.
