Taking Down The Micro Links On 4C Hair

Yeah, it still looks good to be honest, like you could literally wear this for another minute or two yeah yeah, even though, once i found out like it still looked full like naturally even even the more natural day yeah you have to like, like when you're putting Your hands through it or combining you have to be gentle, so it doesn't come outside yeah, but um hey guys. So this is the micro links that are installed on my model same model, we're gon na be taking it down. So i know i just i posted the video like two days ago, but that video is actually old. So we did the hair like a while ago and now she's had it in for like how long yeah the top of february over five weeks right yeah. So she's had it for over five weeks, and this is what her roots look like. She has a little bit of like new growth, so you guys can see. Let me bring the camera closer, okay, all right, but yeah. So she has new growth, as you guys can see, and we're just gon na take it down, because you guys were asking me all these questions, how you take it down, even though i showed it in the video how to take it down, but you guys are Gon na watch me take the whole thing down today and yeah. She said she didn't wash her hair for the whole five weeks. She said she's. She was scared to wash her hair. Like you know, it did kink up. He got kinky because you were sweating, so you blew it out. Okay, i mean tell them how the experience was because there's some people that haven't tried this, that want to try it oh yeah, so it was um, i loved it. It was very natural to like just just it looked super natural um when the hair would um like, because that would work out and so and i'll get really sweaty um your roots, like they start puffing up. So you just um. I would just tie it down, but when i'm finished with my workout i would take a blow dryer and just do like a little just a straightener and um. If i was going out on the weekend to make it look more sleek, i would put heat to it like i'm a flatterer in it, but other than that um yeah. It stayed like how it looked in the video. It will get messy if you don't take care of it like yeah sleep on it yeah, so you do have to tighten your hair down, but i loved it. So many compliments yeah. You said they thought it was your hair. So many people was like wait. Did your hair always been as well? I was like yeah. That'S one thing i like about the microwave because it just blends you have to use the one that blends with your hair type, though, because this is would be great for, like her hair type like 4c hair type and stuff um yeah yeah, so i'd have to Use like hair moisturizer too, because, like that's the thing so you have to brush your hair with the micro links because um you don't want it to just get tangled um, so making sure you brushing it daily um moisturizing oil, just like your natural hair, like i Just have the plier where's the freaking pliers, okay i'll be back because i need to wet it before i take it down and get water alright guys. So i'm gon na take it down with um her hair kind of damp because i don't know if you guys could tell like. I don't want like her hair to snag while i'm taking it down. So i want to kind of freed up, so i'm gon na spray, some water on her roots just a little bit and i'm gon na spray. Some sorry! So let me get you some leave-in conditioner as well. That'S not foreseen here! It'S kinky fruit, you're! Reading the comments - oh lord, i love you guys, but you guys should have messy on me in the comments like you guys should have messy. It'S not easy to be doing all these videos. Some of the comments are like so like hurtful but yeah. I see why i sprayed the leave-in conditioner so that any hair that is kind of like snagging on the bead i just want to free it up. So i don't like break break her hair or anything like that. So once i have it nice and loosened up, no hair is like in the way you guys can see it's right hold on okay, yeah, okay, so no hair is in the way i'm just gon na take the plier, like i showed you in the video you See it's nice and flat like this, so i'm just gon na raise it up and then just use this plier to press the bead, just gently: okay, okay, it's nice and round now, so i could gently just slide it out and that's it. So this is what it is when you take it out, um, you guys were asking if you could reuse it. Yes, you can reuse it like. You could reuse this, because the bead is not like cracked or broken, so it's still intact. So you could reattach it to her hair um. Let me see if i could do that i'll probably do that when i'm like getting to the top, so just keep on watching yeah i'll show you guys how to reattach it in the second row, because you're going to need a different tool to reattach it. If you want to reuse the hair but yeah just press it gently and just slide it out very easy to take out again you just press it gently, okay, once it's round, you just slide it out and she has like some viewed up here so make sure You spray some leave-in conditioner to soften it out, so that when you comb your hair, all this can easily come out again press the bead okay and then you just slide it out. Okay, so we're taking out the first row, i'm gon na detangle, our hair as we go. I have a detangle, i don't know where i put it yo it's sunday, you guys my. I have a headache right now, but listen savannah said she couldn't take the hair out so she's like effie. Can you help me take it out like no problem? So i was so careful to the point that i guess some of them. I didn't do it like really tight, so she said when i said: while she was styling it. Some of them came off as you can see on this row, this one already came off by itself so and then this one came off too yeah. This one came off two, so as long as you don't do it too tight you'll be fine. Yeah, i'm gon na show you guys how to reinstall it. I don't even know how to seal the chats, but okay, let's take out this roll all right. So this is why i did a leave out in between yeah. Just give me one second, okay, okay, so i don't put it too close to the scalp so that it does not like put too much tension on her roots. If it's too close like this, it's not good, because if she's trying to move the hair like left right, that's going to be pulling her roots. So you want to attach it and leave some space so that she can move it to the left to the right and it's not like causing any type of tension or um, causing any type of friction i'll, allow her hair to break so don't attach it too. Close to the scalp, oh, this is the living condition, i'm spraying by the way, it's cream of nature, coconut milk. You could use any detangling, leave-in, conditioner or detangler that you have just make sure you wet it to make it easy all right. There'S no hair! On the way it's loose loose loose. Okay, so again, this is the plier. If you're just joining you just press it down until it's round, and you just slide it out. Okay - and this is the micro links here after this rule - i'll show you how to reinstall it and just slide it out, it'll be easier to actually have someone help you to to take it down, because if you're trying to do yourself, it may be much a Little bit harder, but some people have ha eyes in the back of their head. Some people have eyes yo those people that do their own hair. Like i mean i do my own hair too, but there are some people that, like let's see if they can literally see the back of their head. If you have that kind of talent, then you can take it out by yourself. Okay, let me loosen up the beaut up. Is it blind man sting right, see blind people? They can see more than us. We have eyes, we can't see like them. So you see as i wet the hair right, my hair is getting poofy. So if she was to have the micro links on and she washed it, this is basically how her hair is going to be with the kinky straight hair, so she literally have to like blow it out to like blend it and stuff. So that's what savannah was trying to avoid she's like i'm not doing that work. It'S not working yeah! Oh lord, okay! Okay, so this is free, see. I forgot to take this one out, but um. Sorry guys. So you guys can see how to reinstall it, okay. So but first i want to show you um. So this is the hair, because i still have some left over from you know when i use it on her, so these are the brand new ones, the leftover ones. So what you're going to need to reinstall it you're going to need this same loop that you use to install it you're, going to use it to reinstall it as well. So when you um install this loop, you need to um. Instead of throwing away the loop, you need to save it if you're going to reinstall okay, so you see how all of them have the loop okay, so so this is from a brand new one. Okay - and this is one that we took out from her hair yeah, so let me use this one to show you, because this one has some hair. So this is a brand new one and then this is the one that was on her hair. So to install this one that i took out of her hair now, so i'm gon na take the loop from this new one. Okay, see it and what i'm gon na do is to pass the loop through the old one. So, let's try to see if that's possible, i'm gon na pass. Let me see if i could pass it through. Okay, so i pass it through the old one all right, so we basically made it look like like the brand new one. Okay, there's always a way. There'S always a way, so this is the old one that was removed, and this is a brand new one. Okay, it looks just the same old one new one just take the loop pass it through the bead again and now, let's reinstall it. Let me take a small section so again to install this. You need a small piece of hair, so i'm going to install it into this. So this is the old one, as you can see and where's the other plier. So you can actually use the same plier for both install and remove. So i can't find the one i used to install so you're just gon na pass the hair through the loop, like i showed you guys in the install okay and just push it up. Sorry, sir, all right and then you're going to press it down again and there you go so the same hair that was installed can be reinstalled and vice versa, and it was gon na look just as good as new okay. So you don't have to throw away the hair, you could always reuse it just make sure that when you're installing it, you don't throw the the loop. Okay, make sure you save all this stuff, save it all, don't throw it away, you're going to need it to reinstall it next time. Do you want me, do you guys want me to show you again? You could actually braid with this, like you could braid with it. Okay, so so, when you're gon na wash itself like when you go home, i recommend you. You use a conditioner first instead of shampoo, and you just start to comb your hair from the ends. Slowly, all the way down to the roots, use shampoo and don't like actually because i would do conditioner first anyway, everything is on tick-tock everything. Okay, someone said: i think your hair will grow better with a sewing. This is not a protective style. Okay, i mean to each its own to each its own. If you prefer sewing, do it sewing different strokes for different folks yeah. This one feels great for them. It'S just like a little bit more personal yeah um, it's kind of like what works for this person. May not work for the other person, so if you feel more comfortable with sewing by all means, do so exactly we're just trying something different, and i always like to show you guys like different options, you know, show you different type of styles. So i guess it's like the glue and stuff because that's what she used to wear a lot but um since i've been doing her hair like her edges, is actually starting to grow.
