If you are new here and welcome back to another video, so in today's video we are doing a get ready with me, so we're focusing on hair and makeup. The love me bag and then um by the way you guys this unit also came with a um extra like elastic band on there just to kind of make sure it really stays on, but i took it off because i don't feel like i really needed it. Um you get this cute set and scrunchy girl; no, they did not do y'all see it not one, but two two says, and these are some lashes i would actually wear like that. Second pair right, there love me hair. I need some morty lashes. Okay, i need some more because those lashes are fire. You also get some earrings. These are super cute. They sent your girl, some rhinestone earrings super cute and then um. I also got this little gem right here. Oh and i also got a comb. This is perfect for the bob by the way, so that's oh and then it also sent me some nails too. They almost know i like prince homes, so yeah, that's pretty much everything that i got inside of my box time for makeup. Oh i'm so excited so. For my primer, i'm using this elf poreless primer and we're going to go ahead and um put on the primer before we do the eyes in today's video - and i do have some texture on my skin. So i'm bringing this primer down a little farther than what i would normally um. Take it down all right. So now that my skin is primed, let's go ahead and move on to eyeshadow um we're using this sophie x palette. I feel like i always use this palette here on my channel. A lot of you guys have been asking um for me to try out some new makeup, some new products and that's coming soon girl, but i'm trying to be realistic too, because, honestly, you guys, i honestly do not wear much makeup, especially because of omarion and the Pandemic so um yeah. I don't really wear much makeup, but um. That'S why i really haven't bought any new makeup, but yeah we're gon na start. I'M gon na do better. So the first shade i'm going into. Is this shade right here, which is called orange? Chocolate orange, so the next shade i'm going into is. Is this shade right here, which is called lakes? I'Ve never used this shade in this palette. It'S like a really grungy um, muddy brown. So we're going to see what that looks like, let's, just let's try that out, we don't we're going to see what that's given and i do want this look to look um kind of deep but also bright, so yeah, and i promise you guys. We are not using as many eyeshadows as we used in um last friday's get ready with me. We'Re gon na we're gon na do a little bit better. Today. Now i'm going to take um the last shade i'm going to use which is um brownies, and it's like this pretty rich, deep color, but it has like more of a red, deeper brownish kind of undertone, and i'm really focusing this color on my outer v area. Girl, i will literally sit here and blend all day all day, so the next shade i'm going into. Is this la sun? It'S like this beautiful dark. I call everything beautiful y'all already know um gold shade it's like a super super golden color. It'S almost like a gold and a yellow kind of like together. So that's what we're going for. So i'm going to take that shade and i'm actually going to use a fluffier brush, because i don't want it to be perfect. I just kind of want it to be on the lid and just cute wow. This color is super pretty and it wasn't messy at all. So, of course, i'm just going back in with my brush and i'm going to take the shade lakes um, which is the second darkest shade that we used and i'm just going to pretty much blend the two colors right in the middle together, just to make sure They'Re blended y'all, i hate when i see people with like beautiful eyeshadow work and then like their corners and stuff, are not blended. It'S like no, no, no ma'am and then i'm just going back in with the yellow just so i can get a really really good. Nice and seamless blending going on on the banner if i want to do a winged liner or if i just want to throw on some bold lashes. I think i'm just going to do lashes, so quick break on the eyeshadow, but we're not done with the eyes. I'M going to go ahead and move on to the face, so for my foundation, i'm using my maybelline superstay foundation. I have been using this foundation like crazy, crazy girl because i feel like with my skin um still trying to heal um. It'S looking a lot better than it did um, but i feel like it is still trying to do its thing and heal. I used to love like a medium coverage or like a light to medium, but i feel like um as i get to know my skin. More, it's like, i prefer full coverage because it just gives me a complete clean slate to work with um and i just love it now. I probably wouldn't love this foundation as much during the summer months, but but during the winter time i'm loving it like it's giving me the coverage is it's giving what's supposed to be given. We need that lace to be lacing. Okay, like what lace, maybe i could have brought my wig down a little bit more but y'all, i don't like when it's like too far down, especially when i have a middle part because um i already have um like a small head anyway, like i just feel Like it look, it look a little bit too crazy for me. I'M loving the closure like i don't have to worry about no ear tabs like i don't have to worry about it. I could have laid my little baby hairs right there, but nobody gon na see it. So let's go ahead and move on to concealer. So for my concealer i'm using a throwback, this is l.a girl, pro concealer, i'm using the shade fun. So this is going to be like my first concealer, because i'm going in with another one, this concealer is just still that girl. I remember this concealer came out like during my little prime. I would say of me getting into makeup and actually wanting to do makeup and stuff, but this concealer honey is still giving before i blend it out. I'M just going to take some of this tarte shape tape, concealer um, because i don't really care too much for the shade on this, but i do enjoy how flawless and matte it makes me look to say everything. Well, all the places that i highlighted, i'm just using my maybelline, fit me finishing powder, and i love this for when i go out or when my concealer, like i mentioned on the maybelline and those ones that i use, that don't give me like a flawless application. I feel like this powder helps to like blend and me and everything together, um. Why can i not talk together so yeah? I really do enjoy this powder, especially for night time, when i'm going out when i'm taking pictures and stuff like this powder does not give me flashback any of it girl. When did my camera cut off, so i did go ahead and bronze my face using this uh revolution bronzer, let me show y'all um it's in the shade medium, and it just looks like this, so i bronzed the usual where i normally bronze it girl pretty much And now, for my blush, i feel like my makeup is turning out really really good. So for my blush, i'm using this orange blush, we want some color honey. We want some color to the cheeks and i'm literally putting it right on top of my bronzer. All in the area - and i'm using this lighter shade they both bright, honey, okay, but one's just a little bit lighter and if you don't have orange blush girl, what are you doing? Orange blush looks absolutely gorgeous on um women of color dark women, brown women like it gives. Okay, you got some melon in your skin. Get you some orange blush. Let'S snatch up the nose, i'm taking this new brush. I want to test it out before i actually um go out of town, so i know it's real and i know i like it. It'S just a eco tools, um double sided brush, and i thought that this like was perfect for my nose, contour, which it is and once i wash it and it gets some more fluffiness to it, it'll be even better and she snatched so what's next, i'm only Going to use a little bit of highlighter, just probably on my nose um, because i still want to be like nice and glowy, especially because my eyeshadow is like a shimmer shade, but i don't want to be doing too much. So that's it. I don't think i want any on my cheeks and nothing like that because uh my skin, it just has so much texture um right now. I just don't think that's the best look for me. So i'm doing my mold because it's been a minute girl, i'm doing it up tonight. Okay, moving on to lips, i'm going to be using um max chestnut. I haven't used mac chestnut in such a long time so now for my lipstick, i'm taking this elf lipstick in the shade cream. When i first got this lipstick, i thought that it was going to be way too light for me, but i love it. I feel like this is the perfect nude um, especially with the lip liner. You got to have a lip liner, but i love that it has a pink undertone too it's nude, but there's just a little hint of pink and then i think, i'm going to use either my mac dazzle glass and dress to dazzle. I love this one um, but if you don't want to spend that much money on the dazzle glass just get the black radiance brilliant gloss. I talk about these a lot um. I think i talked about them in my vlog one time and they're super good super, affordable cvs, walmart like it's drugstore, and i love how thick this gloss is these glosses to me both of these are not like an everyday gloss, they're, definitely like a special occasions Or a um like, i want to make them to be like real, real, real cute and, like last, a really long time, because, when i'm out even through drinks, all of that partying. These last me, like these stay on my lips, pretty much all night um, except if i'm doing like hookah or something like that, i will have to reapply, but i personally like a thicker gloss. Both of these are thicker glosses. So if you don't like a thicker gloss um, you won't like these, but if you don't mind a little bit of thickness honey, okay, a little bit of you know a little bit of stickiness. If you will um, you won't like those. So this is the final product. My hair and makeup is complete y'all. I am loving. This look from the eyeshadow to the lips to the hair, like this bob is bobbing. Do you hear me like? The bob is giving what it's supposed to give okay? The bottom is bobbing love me hair. You guys, as i always say, they never ever disappoint me, you guys when it comes to great quality, hair and great quality lace. This unit is a 5x5 closure. It is a straight bob unit and it is 12 inches not gon na lie at first. I was a little nervous because i'm like 12 inches, like my neck, is not that long. I thought it was not going to look right on me. You guys, but it is perfect, like it felt perfect, like i love this hair like it's giving me grown in sexy vibes, it is beautiful, so this unit, you guys, was super easy to install. As always when it comes to love me hair. It was a straight out the box, so you know you guys. I literally took this out the box. I did not wash it. I did not bleach the knot. Any of that i went straight into um prepping, this hair, which is basically me doing a little bit of plucking um and me also tinting the lace. That is all i did girl and when it comes to 5x5 closure wigs anyway, they are super duper convenient, especially if you don't want to be bothered with the ear tabs and all of that honey if you're not good or that good. At laying on lace, a 5x5 closure is definitely the way to go. I love this unit. You guys, i love that it already came cut. I did not have to cut anything like everything. It'S pretty much like a blunt cut all around for the most part. So i did decide to go ahead and do a little bit of baby hair, so you guys see that i did like one baby here on each side: the lace, the lace, honey. The lace is given. Okay, this is the part that actually came in the wig. It was already a bust down middle part, honey. So that's what i decided to go with this hair. I mean girl, it's just gorgeous like it is so beautiful. I love that i did not have to do much to this hair at all. This wig is also a big head girl friendly. So if you have a big head honey, this is going to be a great unit for you um. It was just a little bit big for me, but y'all know i make it work over here. Okay, so this unit also does come in 8, inches 10 inches and, i believe, 12 inches, which is what i have so yeah 12 inches on their website.
